@Light Lord OOC you know the reason Leo gave that look right?
And, just to clear it up, Leo doesn't like people that only want to battle HIM specifically, his brother is a trainer, he's chill with it, he just doesn't do it. Prob worded it poorly.

@Experiment 249 I think I know the reason he gave that look, might be wrong, but whatever. Also it doesn't really matter how you worded it. That's what Devon perceives as Leo's standing due to little context. I'm not mad at you OOC if that's what you're thinking though. Besides, Leo will have a chance to explain himself later most likely.

I may not be able to post again until Sunday afternoon (for me). I apologize because I know this will slow down a good chunk of the RP atm. I will have access to a computer for about an hour or two per day so I will probably be able to post, but the chance to not post is there.

My characters haven't had much interaction at this point. And for now I've just got them headed towards the lab to pave the way for the rest of you to follow.

And I will say, having a Pokedex is VITAL in the Viore Region. Without one, you won't even be recognized as an official Pokemon Trainer, and thus will be unable to compete in the Viore League or the Viore Grand Festival, or collect the Gym Badges or Ribbons required for each. This way the Pokedex kind of serves a bigger purpose than being an encyclopedia for Pokemon.

And I've kind of got an idea for as the story Progresses, maybe Devon, Celes, Brent, and Lily could travel together as a foursome. They'd work well together, three fresh faces and one with some good experience, each learning from one another. @Ninian @Light Lord

Also I finally beat all the contests and Lisia in ORAS (didn't lose a single one) and That's kinda how I made up my team for this RP, but I didn't have nicknames for them in the game (and originally didn't want to nickname them in here, so don't be surprised if in a few posts I just stop using nicknames, I didn't forget, I just decided that I like them without nicknames better.)

and @Ophidian I feel like it'll be Sergei chasing Leo around a fire as well, and if not then it'll be the other way around.

@void liege Probably if she mentioned anything about contests around Leo. He'd be too busy talking about them to notice any aspect of her personality. That's a good defense mechanism she should take advantage of if he ever loses it around her, haha.

@Shiny Keldeo That works~ Only set in stone thing is Celes abs Devon. And of course Nasir has to stay with Devon because he's his mommy.

I could have Pent perhaps travel with the rest? If I need to create another character to push the story I will.

@Dynamo Frokane About your post, you need an official Pokedex given to you by a Professor to challenge Gyms in most if not all regions. That's been set in stone in the Anime I'm pretty sure. I could accept that the Pokedex Model you put in your post was the one you were given, but one would have expected you to have at least the Sinnoh Dex since you came from Sinnoh and such.

You're correct, it's basically an ID on top of being an encyclopedia. Sooooo yeah. Definitely canon in the anime.

An expansion card for an old Dex would probably work, but that would still be issued by the Professor. Either way, gotta go see Maple.

Wew. Not the reaction I was expecting there Leo, going to leave Sergei pretty flustered actually

Anyway, today is a special occasion for one of my friends, so I'm going to be spending most of the evening getting absolutely smashed with him. I'll try to get a post up today, but no promises. Sorry for slowing things down a bit.
