We will be starting WEDNESDAY

That is also the cut off for any new players to join
(If you have already stated interest you get a pass)

Everyone that has been accepted is allowed to make more characters as the rp goes on.

I'm thinking perhaps for the Gullys, their crest could be like a swordfish, or a sea serpent of some sort. Someone mentioned having the words be "From The Waves" and I thought those were pretty good. Other cool ones could be, "The Storm Always Comes," or maybe "Strong As The Sea" or "Strong as The Waves,"

Yes, I went back to look, it's in the first post of the OCC. "Our characters will be two families. Groups of people from either Mount Promonon or the Quell Sea."

You can ask @MissCapnCrunch for sure. I think it is so it's like game of thrones, a few big houses in the Kingdom, while we focus our characters for now on two simply to keep from needing dozens of players. Again, this is just my guess from the post and chat. I could most definitely be wrong.

I can answer this question as I am the GM.

We have two other houses for several reasons; They are there for building up the world- this is a huge land with different areas. They can't be completely barren- and I wanted people to know that there are other people outside besides just them. It is there for story telling- people will have opinions and thoughts about these other people and there is opportunity to interact with these people as well. I opened the possibility for your character to come from any of these areas originally as well- within reason.

I on the other hand LIMITED where you can come from and where your characters fit in, because if I had all areas open- people would be spread out, and people would have a harder time having someone to communicate with and build a story with. Nothing, and I mean nothing kills a roleplay faster than several characters off doing their own thing while one or two groups of people are moving the story along. Those stragglers will eventually leave the roleplay and then, well- we're back to nothing.

These houses will play a role in the future, whether it big or small. Everything is for a reason.

I personally like "The Storm Always Comes." It's sorta like "Winter is Coming" so that means that our house might not do so well in the beginning haha

Also,, saw that ethanjory mentioned he'd be taking the Gully lord, and a son or two, but nothing about the matriarch so I'm gonna get to work on that. Now I just have to find the perfect FC for an intense, determined, middle aged mother who's been through some shit.

Try faceclaims from that Vickings show. It should have some intense females, and have a similar look to the Gullys.
