@Miki@FantasyChic, haven't heard anything from you guys. Still interested? There's 3 days left to submit your character.

Awesome sheets so far. Tomorrow is the last day to make submissions or changes.

@Verisimilitude, I know you showed me your character in PM, but you need to post it here in the OOC to be considered.

Alright guys, looks like the time is up. We have seven submissions and seven spots, which means everyone here is accepted. Those who are still interested but have yet to finish your sheet; there is still chance to join. Just get it done and you'll substitute for anyone dropping out.

So, let's talk character.

Now, feel free to copy/paste into the characters tab once your suggested adjustments are made. I'll hand out the secrets tomorrow and have the intro post in two to three days. Meanwhile, a brief crash scene description is below and tell me if I missed anything.

Edit: don't forget your opinions,

I am very glad to be chosen for Cold Front! This is a fresh idea that I expect will push Julian as well as the rest into intriguing places. It's always good to hear you enjoyed Julian, as I mentioned, I went through a few major shifts in developing him to get to this point. In fact, the first draft would have submitted his son Francois, but as I'm sure Derv or Shaft can attest, I have an affection for older characters and all the complexities that come with them.

Funny you mention Shaft's Jorwen. I noticed a while ago that Shaft and I have a similar taste in characters in terms of what we find compelling and worth exploring. It's funny how we're all such different people with unique backgrounds, but you can find those points where our tastes match well. I have seen your TES game and if I didn't stick to 1-2 games at a time I would probably draft a character there as well! I really appreciate the sense of community and look forward to seeing that here too. It'll also be refreshing to see the same commitment to story development and the characters in a landscape outside of TES. Interesting stories on the horizon indeed!

And the secrets are sent. Check your PM if you haven't.

I'm a sucker for older characters as well. With age comes wisdom, and because how often I see games flooded with younger characters, the older guys indeed have unique wisdom and challenges. Playing them also forces a careful approach to situations. Because they are experienced and not as youthful, I tend to find aged chars encourages dialogue over combat.

@POOHEAD189 'Tis a secret mate (;

I hope that I can convey my excruciatingly sore legs over to Athena. Sore fox is sore. Our hiking adventure today was more of a fishing excursion, but trust me, nothing beats catching fish straight from the crystal clear waters of the mountain streams, climbing over trees and rocks aside from that of course! I think my knees took the brunt of my pain ._.' But my fingers still work!

@MacabreFox I love hiking and fishing as well, one of the major perks of living in the American Northwest.

On another note I'm annoyed beyond belief because the jack wagons at my local computer place say they can't fix my laptop, so guess who's going to buy a PS4?

This guy.

@POOHEAD189 Thank you! I prefer doing outdoor activities than going to the mall or going out to eat for dinner, brings a closer to connection to the world we're living in, I think.

@The Survivor Now the northwest is a place I would love to visit! All of that rain, the green, the forests and the mountains. Where I'm at, we lack rain and the nice green grass, but it's still beautiful. Asides from the tiny insects out to kill you.

@gcold How long have our people been in the wilderness? I'd like to get started on the opinion section here soon, unless you prefer for us to wait until we get the ball rolling.

About two minutes. You can do the opinion whenever you like, though I'll need everyone's sheets (opinion optional for now) in before the IC post.

@MacabreFox Mountains are gorgeous, I love the rivers and trails. I'm in Idaho and its crazy green this time of year, we had a whole bunch of rain and its absolutely beautiful. Nowhere on earth I would rather live. I'm assuming you live in the far west or southwest, have you ever hiked to a mountain peak? Even the smaller ones here are breathtaking to look down from.

Oh wow! Then yes, it's gorgeous up there (: never been myself, but when I was younger I did a book report on Idaho, we were learning about the states and what not. I remember vaguely about a Devil's Canyon? As for me, I live in New Mexico, though I've moved around a lot the past few years. As for hiking to a mountain peak, not quite, I haven't started from the bottom, to get to the top, but I've started halfway up and hiked the rest to the top.
