@Crossfire yeah. My cs is going be like a fantasy hawkeye/green arrow. The biggest thing is the 'ultimate ability' from my chosen game.

@Crossfire After reading your latest post and the addendum to the rules post, I added some clarification to the powers my char will expect to have from the Worms franchise. There are three basic concepts I want to carry over to any world that would allow him to use his powers:

- Huge inventory of different ways to kill your opponent, most of them humorous.
- Random supply drops around the area that give ammo to particular weapons. Other characters would be able to use said weapons too if you allow it.
- Turn-Based tactics. I'll let you think about this one. Part of the challenge in Worms is not being able to move while your opponent does. You can use this as-is, partially, or abolish it altogether. Up to you.

I'm liking it! Could run with a character using the kinda dubious merits of Maplestory... used to love that game as a kid, but classing around and jumping up-and-down like a madman could make for some pretty quirky situations. Plus, I could spec my character to fill in most any combat style we happen to be missing.

Hahaha, sounds pretty chill to me! Just as long as you got something to drive, you can run into your enemies all the time. Not bad. Although if we do end up in the Skyrim world, it's gonna be a bit awkward - guess he'll have to trample people from horseback?

@fer1323@Lichthart I wanted something different from everyone else. Also I was thinking how in The Run there were portions where the main character actually ran. Very few if I recall, but still. Also racers have to be able to think very quickly and make fast decisions. My thinking is that my character would have high reaction time as a passive thing.

@fer1323 Yeah my guy would suck at fighting, but at least he'd be able to react quick enough to possibly deflect blows to not damage as much.

Definitely still open, but I'm not sure about that need for speed based character, wouldn't really have much application in a lot of the worlds we'll visit, and I wouldn't want anyone to be locked out of using their special abilities for about 80% of the rp

P.S. to everyone else, I'm still thinking over possible changes to the way our abilities work, I'll keep you all updated

Alright. I have nearly everything done, but with this possibility I'll play it on the safe side and wait for your final decision on abilities.

@Crossfire Aight, decent. I'll put more effort into figuring out my char's prospective personality, attitude and all that - it's more important anyways, but it helps that picking Maple as hometurf lets me be super-lazy on the part of figuring out their combat capabilities. Basically, I can just specialise into whatever the crew needs. I like gelling teams together as standard, so it's great for that.

I'll stick with what @MechonRaptor's doing for the moment, though. No use getting het-up and writing stuff down and stitching ideas together if they might just be kinda obsolete by something you say in a day or two.

Done already. So what I did was removed the Preferred Weapons/ Power up section, in favor of a Game Master Abilities section, which will be (excuse me while I copy/paste) Up to 3 passive abilities that act as buffs for yourself/the team, and up to 3 active abilities (with limitations) these can be anything from summoning weapons to providing a temporary damage boost, whatever makes sense for your chosen Game Mastery. All Game Master Abilities may not be usable in every game world.

I'm not sure where else to put this, but in the opening IC post we'll be equipped with something akin to the old Power Glove.



This is where our Game Master Armor/Abilities manifest from as well as acting as handy little tools to feed us intel about the Game Worlds and such. In the case of Game Master Abilities being blocked in certain worlds, we can use them to load in appropriate equipment from that Game World. Kind of like in the old show ReBoot (I'm adding in a couple clips below this just in case anyone's never seen it)



Theres unfortunately a massive spoiler in the last 2 and 1/2 or so minutes of this one, so be careful unless you don't care/already know.

That'd be one ability, just like my Weapons Locker ability

Need to post this now before I forget it, I've got a pair of announcements to make, but I'm waiting until we're ready to tart the IC before I let you all know, or maybe I'll keep em a secret until its time for these "events" to show up in the IC REDACTED. Hehehe *evil laughs*

So just a heads up, I am choosing Xenoblade Chronicles as my Game Mastery, and am basing my character off of Sharla from said game. So, that means if everything goes well, we'll have a ranged medic. I am having a bit of trouble with coming up with how she heals, but I'm sure I can fit it somewhere into the active abilities.
