I'm interested as heck but I don't have a solid plan for a faction yet. One thought was a 'third wheel' to the Yore/Rhune Empires; maybe a republic that grew out of a collective dislike of the monarchies, or a lone province that managed to fight an empire off for its independence, a la the Swiss.

But then I thought about Chaos northmen and horse tribes and I'm bouncing between a host of ideas.


Honestly having some notChaos Vikings would be nice for the balance of the RP as there is really nothing up there right now but a few dwarves. You'd also have plenty of more targets to go after since I know a few people have encounters with the northmen in their NSs (I think).

If I place my Dark Elves in the north, maybe the Chaos Northmen could be the ones who took their homeland?

I can roll with that; is there a specific location you've got in mind?

I don't know who black or cyan is on the map.

@Aristo I am required to mention that my map claim isn't a nation per say. It's a large military encampment with the makings of a city and a town that was only recently established.

If you want, maybe we can work something out with my claims-a slice or two of it could open up room for expansion into the interior.

@Ophidian As much as I appreciate the offer, I'll be fine. With the claim that was just placed right next to me, its gonna make shit a bit difficult, especially since its going to involve the utter eradication of @Aristo, but what can you do? XD

I see; where did your faction come from? I don't know what you've got planned for it other than militant expansion and colonialism.

@Aristo They came from across the sea. The Motherland has been locked in a war for hundreds of years, with a second threatening to break out any minute. So, a party was sent to colonise a part of another land in order to rebuild their civilisation. The only way the war will stop is for the Vulpins to give up their land, but doing so without taking over somewhere else is suicide.

So, yeah.

Where are you thinking of placing them? I might fall back to my idea of a not!Chaos Mongol-like people, sweeping from the northwest. I just down't know where to place them.

When I said no Chaos I mean no Chaos god. The fuck all crazy vikings wouldn't be killing in the name of Khorne or whatever and wouldn't be getting daemons in their armies. People with a similar taste of fashion and religion are okay its just that their gods don't/can't affect anyone but them really since there's no Realm of Chaos.
