Kojo Uhura-Jabari was born to Nyota Uhura, Commander (Retired) and Amadi Jabari, Admiral (Retired) in Monrovia, Liberia, The United States of Africa on February 8, 2266. Young Kojo was raised by relatives as his Starfleet parents were frequently deployed to distant locations in the known universe. Although he questioned his parent's intentions, to himself and to his family, he lived a happy and loving life on earth.

When it was his time to choose a path, he followed his parents, enrolling in Starfleet. He was torn between tactical and security, but felt he had better chance of advancement by pursuing the tactical course of study. He learned everything he could about flying star ships, the schematics and operations of various phasers, photon torpedoes, sensor arrays and navigational charts. He thoroughly enjoyed his course study, putting himself into everything he studied.

As a young man, he trained in taekwondo earning a first dan at age 12. As a young teen, he had the opportunity to train in both Muay Thai and Brazilian Ju-jitsu. Kojo has always been attracted to physical pursuits. Later in his teen years, he included Krav Maga which is a hybrid martial art form employing techniques from BJJ, taekwondo and Muay Thai. In his last three years of secondary education he trained in Kenjutsu or the Japanese form of bladed combat. He fights very well with the Japanese curved sword, Katana and Wakizashi.

After graduating from Starfleet Academy, Kojo was posted aboard the USS Majestic, a Miranda-Class medium Cruiser as its Helmsman. He served in this capacity for four years. Upon receiving a promotion to full Lieutenant, he was reassigned to the USS Tricyion, as ship's helmsman.

Born on the planet Vulcan, Chistrov was initially raised to be a Vulcan Ambassador. He was taught the Vulcan philosophy, how to communicate with new species and initiate first contact, and how to negotiate between hostile parties. However, as he grew older, he became fascinated with Starfleet, greatly intrigued with the aspects of deep space exploration and long-distance journeys. When he came of age, he chose to join Starfleet instead of becoming the ambassador we was intended to be. While in preliminary training, he grew interested in the aspects of ship security, ensuring the safety of the ship and its crew through both hostility and peace. He would graduate in the top 10% of his class, and go on to act as a full security officer, eventually gaining the position of security chief aboard the USS Tricyion

Like all Tellarites, Gavi has a distinctive pig-like snout and appears to be hairy. Although Gavi prefers a neater appearance than many of his race. His beard is always neatly trimmed and he keeps his hair tucked into a neat pony tail. Tellarites may have anywhere from three to five digits on each hand, Gavi has five like most humans. Gavi wears a computer-assisted monocle over his left eye. He was born with a diminished visual acuity in the left eye. He could not distinguish lights and colors properly. The Monocle assists him in seeing the entire light spectrum including the capacity to view gamma rays, X-rays, Ultra-Violet Rays, Infrared Rays, Radar and even radio and video waves.


Humans find Gavi difficult to get to know because he thoroughly enjoys arguing. In the Tellarite culture, arguing, which could be synonymous with debating is a national pastime. All Tellarites enjoy a good argument. It is not of interest to win an argument, simply to be engaged in one. He means no disrespect or mental torture. He prefers to begin an argument with insults or complaints. These complaints may be general in nature or they may be personal to the individual he is addressing.

Gavi was born on the Tellarite homeworld known as Tellar Prime in 2263. Both parents worked at the planetary science observatory and wrote lengthy articles and tomes about the known universe and postulated as to the unknown. Many of their theories have been proven accurate by the findings of Starfleet. Gavi's parents gave him the nickname "Ziv" when he was young. It simply means inquisitive one because like most children he asked a lot of questions. But for Gavi, there was no end to his questions.

When Gavi was a teenager, he was admitted to the Vulcan Science Academy. It was discovered he had an unusual gift for science. He has always excelled in Engineering, Astro-Physics, Chemistry and Geology. He prefers the physical science over natural or biological science. He left the Academy on Vulcan when he was 25 and transferred to the StarFleet Academy. He graduated near the top of his class in Engineering and was immediately assigned to the USS Tricyion as an Ensign in the Engineering Department. He has been working with Lieutenant Commander Robin for the past three years and was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade only two months ago.

Gavi enjoys working with Commander Robin and the two enjoy fun banter of hurling insults at one another. In reality, Gavi has the utmost respect for his superior and would do anything for her.

James is a very friendly, kind man, willing and eager to make friends with anyone and everyone, even if they don’t want to. Born in space aboard the cargo ship S.S. Queensland, James worked as a crewmember as soon as he was old enough to walk and talk. He always enjoyed meeting new aliens at port and as new crewmembers, talking to them greatly, and taking interest in how they spoke back. However, life aboard the cargo vessel just wasn’t enough for James, who left for Earth and Starfleet academy once he came of age. In training, he put his interests to good use, becoming a communications and xenolinguistics expert, taking pride in his abilities. After graduation, he served first as an ensign aboard the U.S.S. Divergence, a Miranda class vessel, as a 3rd shift Comms. Officer. This position was nice to him, but he eventually received an indictment and transfer to a starbase after the captain discovered he was running a weekly poker game without his permission(The captain was just jealous James didn’t invite him). Eventually, James would make Lieutenant rank, and be reposted to a starship, the U.S.S. Tricyion.
