Roads allow you to move your troops around faster and Fortresses are highly defensive positions for your men, or an enemy if they take it.

And also, why is Batigefale blaming my countrymen on being part of the drama? I have made no move to supporting or stand on either side - with my relationship with Madeira (8) and Dallin (6).

If anything, my party should be the neutral faction. Not supporting unrest against the other. As such, I can use this later against you. xD

Now that you mention it, arresting the nobles of our countries would be a valid Casus Belli for us, or at least it would worsen relations even more! And you just can't go an assume what our own people would do...
