Making a Post.

The question I'm having is should I wait for @ineffable and @Darkmoon Angel? It might have slipped past a few of you, but they didn't go last round and if Tiberius is to interact with their characters, i'd be nice if I had something to work with. If not, I guess I can do something different.

lol yep. The idea was that skinning a deer made her sick to her stomach, and in many stories, it is said that when you're sick, you turn green.

I would focus more on building rapport with other players than on reacting to everyone's posts. Assuming Kaite doesn't want to talk to anyone else, her presence should still have an effect on other characters. Demanding a meal without a word of thanks, taking someone's tent, bleeding all over a person's nice shirt, and such like are perfectly valid ways to interact with other characters. Even if she isolated herself, she'd smell without a bath after a couple days, and there'd be no hiding that from others. You affect the world just by being. How you affect it describes who you are.

All told, though, your posting abilities are pretty strong. You're better than you think you are.

Kaite isn't that big of a jerk.

I'm bad at writing as that kind of a jerk...though I kinda played Kaite up to be that. At best, shes not in the mindset nor does she have the energy to actually blow up.
I know it doesn't work very well for interactions, but Kaite had her days of being a merciless bitch. Losing it all and then being beaten leaves her with the chill of the soil...and a burly orc wanting to help.

Shes certain to give more of a shit about the crew after failing to protect literally a single one of them. Her job was to take the brunt of punishment and turn to strike down those who would threaten anyone less capable than herself. Its a bit jaded of a thought process, but she'd protect any of her strangers with tooth and nail. Losing a single one has left her a bit busted in terms of morale; Kaite didn't even see the Warlock take her, and knowing her own negligence possibly damned some poor innocent girl to unknown torment is...heavy.

Kaite- My dish that is always missing something. I barely even want to tough it, but the sting draws me in, since I'm interested in trying something new. She wouldn't so selfishly squander the qualities of prime garnish.

Vert- Bitter with a bit of an alluring bite like onion. Works well with others with a bit of context to guide them.

Tiberius- Hearty and stout. Rich in taste but singular as a flavor, difficult to compliment to completion.

Laina- Sweet. What is a good recipe without balance? Underappreciated, but a flavor is never truly brought out unless it can address all senses. To forsake 'sweet' is to abandon taste, whole.

The Story-Teller- The context. Whether its a base like mayonnaise or prime like a steak poised to be marinaded, without the material that makes it savory, the context is easily lost.

Ivan- Zip. The fresh cyan squeezed under a drip of olive oil. It isn't thought about until you consider what is missing...but when you think of it, they can make all the difference.

Zenovia- A catalyst, like a base to offset the burn. Where there is the brightest of flashes, there are the more resolute darks. I'd hate to call it 'dairy' and disrespect women, but it really is the best remedy for a persistent spice. Nobody can always burn, and a healing refuge isn't appreciated until its all that is truly left.
