I'm sorry to say I'm going to be backing out. I'm going to be working on a roleplay idea I have, and I anticipate it'll take up just about all of the time I allow myself for writing. I wish you guys the best of luck though.

Promise isn't participating, afaik, and Sassy hasn't logged on since 2nd of May. Rocketrobie hasn't dropped out though.

But yeah, 4 people is enough for a snug round robin.

Shite, I missed the roll call. I'm still around! Just been a little busy. Theres so much chatter in this thread that its hard to keep track of whats going on lol

I'm also still here. Considering adding something to my character like was suggested but not sure what I want perhaps simply more control over a single element since he doesn't have anything else.

How much leeway is there to the character theme? For example, could a nature based fighter be an actual animal/insect humanoid hybrid? And could one take earth or air as their secondary element for nature - for example, if they're a plant-based nature wielder, they take earth, or if they're some flying creature hybrid, they take air?

For this, not at the moment, I would rather keep it with the associated elements - for that, Broken was correct.

However. As far as race. They can be anything

[@Rilla Haha, hope I'm not the one making it "unfortunately" your job.

Anyway, I guess approving character powers for an elemental tournament is always going to need to be taken care of on a case by case basis. I'm intrigued to hear that your character wouldn't use magma or explosions. I was under the impression that in order to be as viable as possible, you had to squeeze as much versatility out of an element as possible. I'm glad this is not the case.

Good luck with the tournament. I'll be watching from the grand stands.

There's an approximate power cap in play, so you either end up having to trade away some abilities, or nerf all of them to end up as a jack of all trades, master of none. The former is preferable, imho.

You aren't. I'm just lazy. Haha.

And no, all elements have different ways play them. Not all elementals follow the same path. How Vordak would play a fire elemental would differ perhaps in how I would play them.
