First Necromantic Encounter: Andromeda had dedicated her life searching for the bizarre. She spent her summer in New Zealand, at the same time when the horrific events were occurring in Altsoba. From behind the blinds in her hotel room, she spotted a scandalously dressed man pounding on the door of her neighbor. He was let inside. A few minutes later, screams pierced the air. Andromeda quietly rushed over, only to witness the woman being devoured alive, her heart lying limply on the floor as the thing continued to feast. It hadn't noticed her yet, and Andromeda grabbed the lamp from the table, and smashed the creature's brains in.

It was only later, once she had a chance to do some proper research, that Andromeda learned what that had been--a rakshasha.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: The Aldrich family has been in Coventry since 1867, having purchased a small hotel with profits received for service of the Union Army in the Civil War. Andromeda's father, Sal, turned the dying hotel into a themed hotel about thirty years ago, right around when he married her mother, a world famous astronomer. The marriage didn't last long, since Andromeda's mother worked in New Mexico for S.E.T.I.

Her time was split then between the Halloween themed hotel and the satellites in New Mexico. The arrangement was a unique one. Initially, Andromeda spent the school year with her mother. Her mother was in love with her work, and so, Andromeda missed school frequently to come observing with her. She learned a lot of science, but not much else. However, this instilled one of Andromeda's deep beliefs in her--to question everything and to keep an open mind.

A court order sent Andromeda to live with her father, Sal, for most of her high school career. She received a far more stable education, and ended up attending a school nearby in Boston for college. Pursuing a degree in history with a minor in astronomy, Andromeda found her love for bizarre history and facts. Little things that didn't seem to be possible. She spent most of her twenties traveling the world and collecting these little artifacts, and by the time she came home, she turned her collection into a museum. The town was already a tourist trap for those interested in things a little odd, making it the perfect place for her to live out her life.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Andromeda continued her search for the bizarre, but now began to learn more and more about the truth. The events in Altsoba were largely covered up, but she continued to study on her own, eventually finding out roughly what happened. She knew what she had seen in New Zealand--it wasn't something that she could have made up. Her father was murdered just months after the events at Altsoba, and Andromeda has been running the hotel ever since the tragedy. She can't quite explain it, but she knows that her father's death has something to do with what happened in Altsoba.

But of course, it's not like she can tell the police that...

The police weren't looking into her father's murder properly. Andromeda needed someone open enough to consider supernatural causes for her father's death. And given that Seraphina was at the center of the Altsoba massacre, Andromeda figured she'd be able to do the job. As long as Seraphina keeps working the case, Andromeda has no issues with her.

Emmie can be a little tense around Andromeda, though Andromeda doesn't return the animosity. No matter how many times the kid calls her pasty or freaks out in the hotel, or at the museum, Andromeda just laughs it off. It's nice to have a small problem like that, compared to the other heavy things going on in her life.

They never became incredibly close friends, but close enough that when Alexander's apartment was under construction, Andromeda let him take a room at the hotel, free of charge. While Andromeda did find out the identity of the murderer on her own, she's certain she'll still need Seraphina's help in avenging her father. Sera seems to be capable and confident--and certainly more dependable than any member of the police. Of course, now that she's fallen through time and is an angel again, things are a little weird...

Andromeda only interacted with Eudora briefly when the woman checked into the hotel. She's fairly typical looking for those who spend time at Coventry Horrors. But once Andromeda got the chance to know her, she can't help but be impressed by the witch. She's definitely someone Andromeda wants in her corner.

Andromeda has grown to trust Emmie, given that the young girl stood by her during a near death experience. She shared with her a well kept family secret--her half-brother who was given up for adoption, Walter Hanson. It amuses her to no end how much the little bug finds the hotel and the museum creepy, given that to Andromeda, those things are normal.

Andromeda hasn't interacted with the man all too much, though she has seen him come and go. There's a look in his eyes that tells her that he's seen some shit.

Andromeda saw the woman during check-in, and from what she knows, Aloise isn't someone to be messed with. The woman carries herself rather well, in an almost military way. But hey, she paid the rent on time--that's all that matters.

Andromeda has no issues with Folly herself. However, she has a distaste for the girl. She sees Folly as representative of police incompetence, as a symbol for all of the idiots in the police department. Part of Andromeda thinks that if it wasn't for Folly, the police may have apprehended her father's killer so much sooner--or at least, considered the possibility that his murderer wasn't human.

Andromeda briefly met the O.M.E.N. agent and sent him off with her brother. Despite the pair of them heading off what seems ages ago, neither of them have returned and there are no answers yet as to who killed Seraphina. Andromeda isn't sure what to make of it quite yet, but she is wary of the man.

First Necromantic Encounter: During the Altsoba Massacre Seraphina was about to enter the town after following the voices in her head there. There she met a woman named Sylvia who at the time she thought was a normal person, she was actually a witch. While the two of them talked outside of the town for a bit near the large pile of dead bodies, she saw a little boy there, who was the antichrist. But she didn't follow after who she thought was a little boy into the woods, thinking it was to dangerous to even follow him.

The two of them entered the town where Sera bumped into another woman named Katsumi who was fighting a person who had been risen from the grave, she lost her handgun there and the three of them were shot. Sylvia and Katsumi sadly weren't as lucky and died from their wounds, eventually she bumped into the man named Trevor and then headed to the Altsoba Church. Luckily there was a doctor and the bullet was extracted, then sometime later Lucifer himself possessed Amy Chang the woman who extracted the bullet from her shoulder. Seraphina and who else ran out of the church and then two others came in, one of them died killing Amy Chang/The Devil while the other went in for the kill stopping the apocalypse.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Seraphina was once an angel actually, however she was cast out due to her disobeying the others. She was sent to Earth and reborn as a human, however she does not remember any of this Sera's mother was a simple waitress while her father worked at a hotel as a receptionist. Growing up Sera lived a fairly normal life, though she has always heard these voices however she has never once admitted it to anyone. Throughout high school Sera was always there helping out with her friends with their problems, that's when she decided that she wanted to become a police officer. After she graduated from high school Sera went to college and studied law there, and after that she applied for the police academy in New York City which she graduated from.

Sera was on patrol one day that is when there was a robbery at a convince store she was asked to go there, she did and the man ended up opening fire on her. Seraphina managed to shoot him as well, but she was shot herself she ended up losing consciousness and woke up at the hospital a day later. Since that encounter she decided to leave the force, though she still wanted to help people so she ended up becoming a private investigator taking on cases from simple unfaithful spouses to doing somethings for lawyers in their cases or the occasional serving some court papers.

Then she started to hear the voices more then she did, as strange news stories started to happen across the world she did her best to try and ignore them. Until she just couldn't stand it anymore, she took her keys and decided to head out to Altsoba to find out what was exactly going on there. She spent the next week or so driving across the country to Altsoba to find out what was exactly going on there.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Life after the Altsoba Massacre Seraphina before was working with a PI agency before deciding to open her own in the Manhattan area of the city, using her own apartment as her office. After finishing up a case Sera was locking up her apartment, to her surprise she found a street kid a girl by the name of Emmie. The girl had a knack for the PI business already helping her with a client by finding out where her missing son was.

Seraphina eventually got the paperwork and decided to take Emmie on as her legal guardian and watching over the girl closely, she eventually one day found a letter from Aloise one of the survivors from the Altsoba Massacre. Sera took the warning and remained low due to her being a fallen angel, however she has been looking more into what she actually is along with other Supernaturals or Necromantics what O.M.E.N. calls them knowing to stay away from them as much as possible.

Personality: Eudora is a kind old woman at heart. Her tone is gentle, her attitude forgiving, and her aura pleasant. Eudora since birth, whenever that was, always had a deep feeling of wanting to help people around her, to remove the stereotypes placed on her and to ensure the safety and happiness of everyone around her. The only reason she even opened a magic shop was to help people, and she adored serving every client with a problem. Eudora keeps her arms wide open, accepting anyone into her hut/shop who is in need of a fairy godmother, Eudora is even ready to lay her life down if it means that everyone shall be safe. Eudora, after all, is a witch. They are renowned for their deadly skills, skills which Eudora isn’t afraid to use. Eudora can be harsh, cold, and deadly if she wants to, and her lack of fear when doing so only adds to her destructive capabilities. Once she had deemed someone to be undeserving of her kindness, it can be very hard to get into her good books again.

Eudora also values her privacy. After centuries of living alone in her hut, Eudora has learned to appreciate the still and calm that comes with isolation. However, she isn’t totally asocial and will open up to one or two people, but she finds herself tense and wary in large groups. While the only interaction Eudora ever had with Jade was so insanely enlightening and helpful, Eudora feels as if she hasn’t been near the woman enough to really form an opinion of her. Eudora would gladly wave at her from afar, but she would still be wary about ever approaching her even though she doesn’t think negatively of her.

While Eudora and Mercurial’s interactions were brief, and one interaction of which involved mass murder, Eudora still has a soft spot for the girl, partly due to her curiosity about the little girl. • At the museum in Coventry, there's something impossible. One of the girls from the circus, Folly, is the daughter of one of the victims. There are photographs of Folly in the museum that date as early as 1920. But Folly was born in the 1990's, and doesn't look any different.

First Necromantic Encounter: One night in late 2005 Emmie was around six years old or so she woke up to hearing something break in the kitchen, Emmie made her way into the kitchen finding nothing there other then a shattered plate on the floor. She went to clean it all up then she could hear a loud scream coming from her parent's bedroom scared and wanting to see if her parents were alright. Emmie made her way towards their bedroom and opened the door she turned on the light to their bedroom she saw her father's dead body his blood covering his neck, his lifeless eyes staring right at her. Emmie's eyes then wondered towards her mother seeing a figure turning around holding her lifeless mother's body which it dropped the moment Emmie would let out a scream. The vampire quickly fled from the window to her parent's apartment. A few minutes later came by a neighbor woke up to check and see what happened, seeing the bodies of Emmie's parents and the terrified girl they called the police. Having no other family nearby Emmie was put into an orphanage where she would spent most of her childhood there.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Emmie had spent most of her childhood life living in an orphanage in New York City, she despised living there she barely had any friends as she watched kids both younger and older then her were slowly adopted out one by one before her. No one ever took notice in her as time continued to go by, eventually Emmie had enough and she decided when she was old enough herself she would runaway from the orphanage. When she turned fourteen she made her first attempt at running away when she did Emmie managed to leave and lived the first week alone on the streets with barely any money. Emmie was eventually caught and returned by the police to the orphanage that she grew up in, Emmie lived the next year in the orphanage once more waiting for the next time to leave.

When she turned fifteen Emmie made her final escape from the orphanage that she lived in and got as far away as she could, eventually Emmie ran into a group of homeless people like herself. Where Emmie learned how to steal, pickpocket and lock picking as well by some of the younger people in the group. Emmie also learned how to defend herself whenever she needed to by people who liked to bully the homeless, she became fairly good at fighting against others.

As the Altsoba Massacre started and the weird events started happening Emmie took notice whenever the weird news stories started to happen around the world. Emmie decided to distance herself from the others that she considered friends and went out to find places that she could be safe. Emmie found an abandoned apartment building where she spent the next several months living in, until people found her living there and she was forced to leave. Then the Altsoba Massacre ended, Emmie made her way into an apartment building finding an apartment that was empty she broke into it and started making herself at home then that's when she would bump into Seraphina the woman who would actually take her in.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Seraphina eventually took Emmie in as her legal guardian after Emmie had convinced her that she could help out, Emmie helped Sera with a case of her's when a mother hired Sera to find her missing son. Since then Emmie has been living with Sera helping her out around the apartment and whenever Sera needed her to help out with her job she would take it. Finally feeling like there was a place that she belonged Emmie felt comfortable living with the other woman, looking up to Sera like an older sister that she never had.

Emmie and Seraphina have been really close, at first they didn't get along. But eventually they have been pretty much like sisters.

Emmie the second day of being in Coventry, started calling Andromeda 'Pasty' due to the woman's pale skin and snow white hair. Andromeda has taken her on a tour of the museum which to her feels creepy along with the hotel.

First Necromantic Encounter:
While Liam's first encounter with a Necromantic was technically with a Rakshasa masquerading as a good friend of his, Amelia Pilkvist, his first major encounter with one was when he and Aloise Zamora were attacked by zombies during the Rise of the Witnesses. Liam was protected by Aloise and his guardian angel at the time, but at the time gained no particular knowledge or ability himself at dispatching them.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre:
Born down under in Sydney, Australia, Liam had a fairly rocky upbringing. He was the oldest of four kids, having a brother and two younger sisters. While his mother was a sweet, kind and caring woman, Liam's father was a drunk and abusive, he would hit Liam, his siblings, and his mother fairly regularly. Liam stepped up as he got older, and once when he was in high school broke a bottle across his father's face to protect his father. As Liam got older and stronger, he could defend his family against his father much easier, and his father began to drink and attack them less as a result. Despite this rather terrible relationship with his own father, Liam was always encouraged by his mother and cared for by him, and went on to do rather well in his own academic pursuits.

Liam built his fascination with journalism and the world of news at a young age. Shortly after he had turned thirteen, Liam stayed up throughout the night to follow reporting of the 9/11 attacks, Liam admired the reporters, and their dedication to the events as they happened. Moving on from high school, Liam went to the University of Sydney to study a bachelor of Media and Communications. He did relatively well in his degree, and grew close to a few transfer students from the United States. It was while at the University of Sydney that Liam also developed a love of literature, and a deep interest in public affairs. He got involved with the student press, and before graduating was one of the lead writers at the student newspaper.

Shortly after graduating, Liam chose not to search for work immediately, but following the example of his American friends, looked into studying abroad. Eventually, he settled on studying in the United States, and moved to do his Masters of Journalism at Harvard. Liam continued to involve himself with student reporting, and took up an internship at a few local news channels as he studied. Graduating, Liam had plenty of references and contacts, and was lucky enough to be able to secure a position as a new associate producer at CNN in New York. Shortly after she settled into working at New York, Liam began to head numerous stories regarding the increasing tremors and natural disasters, across the country and the world.

As it became more and more widely known that Altsoba was being considered as where the epicenter of the coming 'apocalypse' would be, CNN wished to send one of their producers to the town to report on things as they happened, and at the very least compile an optimistic message in the event that it was all wrong. Both out of a luts to know more, and to gain some good favor with his higher-ups in the event it was all wrong, Liam volunteered to head to Altsoba where most of the other producers were reluctant. Making his way to Altsoba, he's trying to settle in while learning as much as he can.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre:
Since the Altsoba Massacre, Liam has spent most of his time travelling alongside Aloise Zamora, learning how to protect himself and what he can from her. Along the way, he has picked up from time to time any and all pieces of the supernatural he's been able to get his hands on which haven't been claimed or snatched up by O.M.E.N, instead selling them off on the black market for a quick buck. He has quickly become disenchanted with the supernatural after the massacre, and has a fair distaste for most of it, except for what aspects of it involve profit for him.

Liam holds Aloise very dear to him. After, and especially during the Altsoba Massacre, Liam found himself alone, isolated and terrified, and Aloise was the one who stuck with him. Personality: Alex is an anxious, awkward, and quiet young man with limitless adoration for children. In college he became the student that sat in the back of the class, bouncing his legs nervously, but he always scored well on tests, well enough that he graduated "high-school" with a 3.2 and maintained a 3.5 in his current classes. When around other adults, he's terrible at forming clear sentences and has a bad habit of rambling uncomfortably until he isn't quite sure what he's talking about, and he's never exactly sure how to act without nervous stuttering and awkward silences. First Necromantic Encounter:
On November 19th 2000, Alex's Mother Crystal Aster was killed by her Brother, Abraham.
Alex was a child at the time, just two days from his sixth Birthday. It was a Sunday, and because his Birthday was on a Tuesday that year his Mom and Dad decided to have the 'Family Party' after Church. The Celebration started with Brunch at Alex's favorite restaurant, the Coyote Canyon a buffet that had the best breakfast in the world, according to Alex. The entire kitchen came out to sing him happy birthday, and even the Old Man in the booth behind them joined in. After the staff went back to the kitchen the man in the booth walked around and asked Alex how old he was turning, and Alex happily said "Six! But my birthday isn't until Tuesday." The man said a few other things, complementing the family and such before reaching into his pocket and producing a small wooden horse, he gave it to Alex as a gift, and went on his way.

The rest of the day went by just as pleasantly, Alex gave his new Horse toy to his mother so he wouldn't lose it, and he went through the joyous process of opening gifts, having his favorite type of Birthday Cake, and giving all of his family hugs and Thank you's as they left. He got to stay up a bit later than usual, and went to sleep soundly.

Alex woke up during the night from the sound of someone knocking on the door, and after waiting a moment and not hearing his mom or dad get up, he jumped out of bed and ran to get it. When he opened the door, he saw his favorite uncle Abraham standing there, and jumped to give him a hug. "What are you doing here Uncle Abe?" he asked happily, to which his Uncle responded "I just came by to talk to your Mother, I forgot to ask her something earlier. Is it alright if I come in?" Alex nodded, yawning and rubbing his eyes as his Uncle walked in. His Uncle patted his head and told him to get back to bed, it was too late for him to be up, and Alex obeyed happily, falling asleep before his head even hit the pillow.

About an hour later, Alex woke up to the sound of sirens and lights flashing in his now open window. He walked over to it and closed it, but noticed that on the Windowsill was the carved horse he had been given by the Old Man at brunch, however now it had wet, red fingerprints on it's head.

That day, Alex was interviewed by two Policemen and a Detective, who told him that his Mother had been killed and his Uncle had been arrested. Three months later, Alex was asked to be a witness in Abraham's case, and while he was questioned he couldn't speak over his Uncle's frantic cries of Innocence.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre:
After his Uncle was found guilty and sentenced with Capital Punishment, Alex's father moved him out to Coventry, a bustling tourist trap in Massachusetts. His Father opened an Antique shop, in which he and Alex lived above. Having been in bed with his wife when she was murdered, he developed Major Depression and turned to Alcohol to cope. Alex's father wasn't a kind drunk, and he beat Alex regularly, but always cried and begged for forgiveness when he sobered up, which became rarer and rarer as time passed. Alex was homeschooled, as his father grew too paranoid for his son to be out of sight for more than an hour, and due to such limited outside interaction, Alex's social skills developed rather poorly.

Shortly after he began attending college classes, his father was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning and liver failure, and after about a week and a half on life support he passed away. Alex was forced to sell the shop to afford his father's small funeral, and with the remaining money he bought a used car and placed a down-payment on an Apartment. He sold the majority of his own possessions to afford rent as he searched for a job, and after being hired at the Local day-care he bought himself a few "home defense" items and other basic necessities.

In the three years following, Alex had been able to build up a small savings due to his frugal spending practices and has been living quite contentedly alone. He'd been doing well enough at his job for long enough that he had been made the assistant manager to an often absent owner, and as such given a generous raise of $7.75 an hour, giving him an annual income of about $31,000 a year, which was more than enough for his meager expenses and spending habits.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre:
Aside from the slowly growing paranoia and occasional shock of death, Alex's life has remained relatively normal since the massacre in Altsoba. He never read too deeply into the events, as it didn't concern him directly and scared him more than a bit. Aside from the Increase in Tourism to the area, not much has changed for him. He still works the same job, attends the same classes, and visits the same shops he did before the crazy scale of the world jumped to a twelve. The only change he's made is purchasing a baton for his bedroom and a temporary move to the nearest Hotel, a themed one at that, due to the Landowner's Property Renovations.

Alex and Andromeda had both lived in Coventry for quite a while, and he'd seen her several times before eventually, and nervously, introducing himself at a cafè he frequented. They'd become decent friends since then, as she'd graciously put up with him through the worst parts of his nervousness, and he'd grown comfortable enough not to stutter through every sentence he uttered around her. They weren't particularly close, likely due to Alex's tendency to isolate himself socially, but she'd been kind enough to let him rent out a room at her newly acquired hotel while his apartment was under construction.

Sera and Alex weren't especially close, but he'd met her and Emmie when they showed up at Coventry Hotel. Aside from her name and profession, Alex didn't know much about her. However he did know that she seemed like a great person, and she was definitely a much-needed relaxant.

First Necromantic Encounter: When she died, Aloise woke up in hell. She doesn't talk too much about what happened down there, but she's haunted by her experiences. The demons. The torture. The hellfire. The gnawing sensation that she had done something to warrant her damnation. It was an endless nightmare, though endless is perhaps the wrong word. Aloise managed to escape from hell and return to life, at a great cost to someone very dear to her. She still dreams of it.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, Aloise's parents were both in the military. Her mother was an officer in the Army, while her father worked in emergency medical. The Persian Gulf War claimed the lives of both of her parents. Aloise, who had been looked after by her uncle, then permanently moved with him to his home in Ohio.

Her uncle, gay and in denial, didn't have any other family nearby. The rest of the Zamora clan lived in Arizona, and there had been a major falling out due to disapproval over Aloise's mother. Her uncle and her father had then cut ties with the rest of the family. Growing up, then, it was just Aloise and her uncle. She wanted to honor her parents' memory by doing Girl Scouts as a young girl, switching to ROTC when she reached high school. She competed in wrestling and learned how to operate a firearm. By the time she finished high school, she graduated as a Captain in ROTC, and went to university to study Military Science.

After completing her undergrad degree, Aloise signed up for the Marines. As an officer, she served as a second lieutenant for two years, spending several tours in Afghanistan. She received a promotion to first lieutenant, feeling as if she achieved her purpose in life, until six months later when Aloise was killed in combat. Her squad managed to recover her body and it was shipped back to the United States in a casket.

Buried in Arlington Cemetery, she received all of the honors and privileges afforded to a fallen Marine. For six months, her body rotted underneath the Earth among so many others. And then, on a ripe August morning, Aloise woke up. She found herself on top of her grave, her tombstone serving to prop up her head. Clad in her bloodied uniform, the bullets were all gone. None of it made any sense, naturally, until she spotted her tear stained uncle and a young woman. The woman vanished in a blink of an eye.

As Aloise later learned, her uncle had sold his soul in exchange for Aloise's life. She remembered fleeting instances of hell, having been damned there for reasons she still didn't understand. As far as the US Government was concerned, Aloise Zamora was still six feet under. And as for her uncle? Per the terms of the deal, he had only ten more years to live. And then he would take Aloise's place in hell.

In an effort to save her uncle's life, the only family she had left, Aloise became a hunter. The Marines considered her to be dead, so she didn't have that to fall back to. And after dying in Afghanistan, Aloise didn't fancy doing that another time. She traveled all across the country, visiting anyone who claimed to have knowledge of the supernatural, and who might be able to save her uncle's life. And while she became skilled as a hunter, all she learned was that there was nothing she could do to avert her uncle's fate.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: While there wasn't anything she could do for her uncle, fighting the supernatural was her new war. When she saw live footage of Vivian Adder killing innocents in Altsoba, Jamila's brief rampage as a Qareen, and word in the hunter community of the disturbed spirit of John Moses, she instantly packed up and headed for Washington. Luckily, it was only a day's drive at that point. Determined to serve and protect, Aloise tried to save as many innocents as she could, and ended up protecting a prophet named Liam.

After Jade Cornish killed the devil, Aloise and Liam started to travel the country. Liam wanted to learn to become a hunter, and Aloise begrudingly taught him the basic skills--mostly those ones needed for survival. They bicker from time to time, but Aloise has had other stresses. O.M.E.N. is one of them, as per their moral code, Aloise should be put to death. Her life is not natural. She still hunts, but she attempts to protect the other survivors as best as she can as well.

If the apocalypse never happened, Aloise and Seraphina likely would have never met. But it's hard to have the devil attempt to kill you without creating a bond. They're now good friends because of it, not entirely close, but Aloise tries her best to warn Seraphina about O.M.E.N.'s activities, and to find out more about fallen angels for her. It's the least she can do.

Aloise is a bit wary about Seraphina involving Emmie in everything. There are things that change a person--hunting is one of them. Investigating murders with supernatural causes? That's another one. Emmie respects Aloise's judgment, and Aloise knows that Emmie is capable--she just isn't sure it was the best decision for Seraphina to make.

Aloise and Liam are best friends, at the heart of it. They travel together, and she tries her best to teach him what she can about the world, so that way he can protect himself. It takes a certain type of person to live through Altsoba without going insane--an even better kind of person who still wants to help and do good in the world. She tries her best to give Sera heads ups about O.M.E.N. activities and any lore about fallen angels. And now, Aloise hopes to help bring justice to her friend.

Despite both being Altsoba survivors, Aloise never met Eudora until the woman fell through the wardrobe, along with Liam shortly after. Aloise's determined to find a way to rescue Eudora--but most of that drive comes from her friendship with Liam. She's protective of Eudora from association now.

Aloise isn't changing her mind on this one. While she has nothing against Emmie, she doesn't think the world of necromantics is right for a kid. It's too dangerous and unpredictable, and she doesn't want to see Emmie get hurt. Even if Emmie isn't killed, Aloise figures she'll be in for years of therapy eventually. But it isn't her decision to make, whether or not Emmie gets to come along on cases.

She'll see Darren again one day--just hopefully not any day soon. Though hunters never really stay dead for long, do they? Maybe she'll see him again in this life. Maybe.

Personality: With a delusional contortionist for a mother and a magician for a father, Folly has a decidedly more muted personality. Her father attempted to kill her when she was thirteen, only further scarring her. This caused Folly to become ever the more quiet, her words hardly above a whisper. This is only partially due to that trauma, of course, with the increased silence serving as one of Folly's coping mechanisms. The event has left her mind wounded in more than one way as well, with Folly beginning to notice herself losing her grip on reality ever so slightly, driving her into a panic.

But beyond all of the tragedy from that trauma, Folly is a quite talented young woman. She is incredibly creative, enjoying stories and imagining other possibilities. When she was very little, in fact, she wanted to go to Hogwarts. Folly picks up on things quickly, being a Jack of All Trades type when it comes to intellectual matters. Whether it be math or English, Folly excels at it. She can excel at mostly anything, as long as she can keep her wits about her.

History: Folly's parents belong to a traveling circus, though they mainly stay on the east coast of the United States. Her father, Boris, was billed as a magician, while her mother, Fiodora, was a contortionist in the sideshow. Instead of growing up with normal children and attending school, Folly was raised in the circus community. Her best friend was the son of the snake charmer, and she played with the twin daughters of one of the clowns as well. In total, there were around seven children traveling with the circus.

Folly's father wanted her to follow in his footsteps and become an illusionist as well. He woke her up at the crack of dawn each morning starting at age six, attempting to train her in his craft. It never took. She took after her mother in skill, but rather than wanting to be a contortionist, Folly dreamed of flying on the trapeze. It infuriated her father, but the acrobats of the circus began to train her, and while she wasn't even close to second string, she really took to it. By the time she was twelve, Folly had made second string, the youngest acrobat in the circus.

And while the entire circus treated each other like family, Folly's parents were not exactly the most stable. Her mother had fallen hopelessly in love with a psychotic and abusive alcoholic. She managed to keep Folly protected from it mostly, but she couldn't protect Folly entirely. Her father didn't work just for the circus--he was strong, and he sometimes hired himself out, in order to come up with extra cash. After one of those deals soured, Folly was the first thing Boris saw when he came home. He cut Folly's throat open and left her on the floor to bleed to death. It was a miracle that she survived. She was only thirteen.

It interrupted her performances, as few as they had been. The recovery was long and painful, but it only created a deep resentment for her father. Her mother took him back after a month. The police were never informed as to what exactly happened, so Boris faced no charges for attempted murder. The circus went by a policy of settling family matters within the family. It was only when Folly turned fourteen that her neck was fully healed, and that she had been cleared to once again fly on the trapeze.

That's the oath Keenan took when he joined the force back in his early twenties, and it continues to serve as an excellent descriptor of his personality. He will never give up on fighting for what he believes is right, even if it might bring him serious harm. Death is always an option for him, as long as justice is served, as long as wrongs are righted. If a shortcut has to be taken to get justice made, a deviation from the law, that's fine by him--as long as his conscience is clean at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

His drive is his undoing as well. Quick to dedicate himself to a cause, he will work himself to death, or at least, to the edge of it. He becomes reckless, rather than heroic. History: Keenan was born in the south side of Boston. His father, an abusive alcoholic, was an arms dealer. He roped Keenan and his older brothers into helping to run his criminal empire from the moment they could walk. Empire is a bit of an exaggeration, of course--Keenan's dad was a nobody in a world of somebodies. The more his father failed at gaining power, the more violent he became. The violence only ended when in a rage, his father killed his younger brother, Patrick. CPS removed them from the home the next day.

Growing up in a foster home, Keenan fancied himself to be a champion of those who couldn't defend themselves--people like his brother. He got into plenty of fights, but they always had to do with him defending some moral principle. A cop with the Boston PD figured this out and poled some strings, getting Keenan accepted into the force as soon as he graduated high school. Keenan legally adopted his only younger sibling, his little sister, and served the public in the force until he was forty years old.

When he was forty, he responded to a call that changed his life. The things he saw--they changed him and his viewpoint on the world. He was one of the first agents recruited by O.M.E.N., due to the nightmares he had seen that night. He couldn't quite be a normal cop anymore.

First Necromantic Encounter: A traveling circus needs to have its fair share of secrets and mysteries if it wants to draw in a crowd. One such secret was the Mysterious Mr. M, who was It didn't occur to her until much later that Mr. M never let the girls out again and they were never seen. It could be argued that the circus knew about this and that is why they traveled so much or Mr. M forced them into this contract, but the angry mob that formed that drove the circus into ruin made it quite clear that Mr. M was the cause. She never saw him again.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Lilth isn't quite sure who her mother and father were. Apart from a small black and white photo of them, she knows very little about them. All she can remember is growing up in the Capaldi Circus and the freaks and misfits in it were her family. It was never confirmed if her parents were part of the circus or if they abandoned their daughter and they found her and took her in. Whenever she would ask Rifiki Capaldi, all he would say is "You'll know when you're older."

The circus did somewhat well for themselves. They played on people's curiosity to the unknown. Lilith liked to sneak around the circus and explore and learn the secrets to her "family". She wanted desperately to be a part of them. She practiced and found her knack for knife throwing. She developed the skill and became part of the show as the young knife throwing girl. It wasn't until she turned 15 that she discovered her ability to commune with the spirits. She wasn't new to the Necromantics, though she only had a broad understanding of them. This ability was scary and new. She made attempts to communicate with the various spirits she met. Some instances were beneficial while others...not so much. In the end, she kept this a secret.

During their trip into New York, an angry mob formed. News of the missing girls traveled far and the circus was brought to its knees. Mr. M, the mysterious man who would be the last one to see these girls, disappeared. The mob called for blood. For justice. Rifiki was led into police custody while the other members disbanded. Having nowhere to go, Lilith set up shop wherever she could. Dancing on the streets rarely paid the bills, but she didn't have many bills to pay. She found that many people were generous to her. Finding out she could do well for herself, she started telling fortunes and taking on people who wanted to speak to spirits. While most found it to be balderdash, her clients were often surprised by how true the fortunes were. Scarily true. She made a small name for herself and began recieving calls to come help with unruly spirits or ghosts. She quickly became well versed in demons and ghosts and how to deal with them. She helped wherever she could..for the right price.

Never one to stay in one place, Lilith traveled often. She used her gifts and her womanly attributes to land her places to stay, food in her belly, and gifts.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Life took a small nosedive after the events of the Altsoba Massacre. She noticed a lack of clients who wanted her help. There were few people who were nice and said they just weren't interested anymore. Others weren't so kind, blaming her and asking why she couldn't predict such an event and help prevent it. She wasn't hated, but she wasn't well liked, and that upset her. She traveled some more, exploring what she could in the hopes of understanding the events of the Massacre and maybe finding a way to help (herself mroe than others).

It was then she found herself in Coventry.

First Necromantic Encounter: When Thalia was on her trip throughout Europe, she spent much of her time camping out in the woods. Towards the end of her trip, she walked through the woods and found herself in a different time era, and it confused her. She walked back the way she had come, but ran into a strange creature that immediately lunged out at her and attacked her. Thalia had a pocket knife with her and managed to fight the creature off, eventually killing it. She didn't even notice that it had managed to scratch her arm, but she ran back to the town at the edge of the woods, and described her experience. The creature seemed more dragon like than anything else, and she still is not fully aware of what attacked her. Ever since then, she has been able to detect temporal disturbances.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre:
Thalia was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico, so she was used to people asking her about aliens. She never really cared for her hometown, and she wanted to get out of it as soon as she could. Her parents were both historians, and she was used to her father teaching her about the history of the world. She also was used to being left at her aunt's house whenever her parents were out of town for their jobs. She never was really close to her mother, who practically wanted to control every aspect of her life, but her father was kind and helped her out of situations if she ever needed them.

Her mother tried to control her life, and when it came to decide where she would attend college, her mother was set on her going to the nearest school, while Thalia wanted to go out of state. Her mother kept telling her no, that she was staying in New Mexico and that was final. Her father stepped in, agreeing with Thalia, and telling her mother that she needed to see the world while she was still young. She went to school in Florida, and was majoring in history, like her parents before her. During the summer before her final year of school, Thalia decided to drop out of school and leave to travel the world.

She decided to backpack through Europe, travelling around and enjoying the sights. The came her encounter with the temporal disturbance, and everything changed. She left Europe immediately, and headed back to the states. Her arm was still bandaged from the claw marks on her arm, and she was told that she would always have scars from it, but that was the least of her problems. Thalia was still a wanderer, and she tried settling down, becoming a bartender in a city in California. She never talked to her mother, but occasionally she would call her father and talk with him. However, eventually her need to travel overwhelmed her, so she joined the circus, so that she could continue travelling.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre:
Thalia still is with the circus, and is now working as the Magician's Assistant. She mainly is still working there because of her love of travelling. When she heard of what happened in Altsoba, the memory of what happened to her came into focus again, but she pushed that to the side. As she travelled, she sometimes got strange feelings, as if something was out of place. Thalia one day decided to follow that feeling, and found another temporal disturbance, much like the one in Europe. She learned that she could find them, and only occasionally would she act on these feelings, if she was stuck in one place for a while and she sensed a temporal disturbance, she would go and try to find it. Her life has become more complicated because of this ability, but she works hard to try and ignore them,

Thalia first met Lilith while at the circus. The two discovered that they had a lot in common once they started talking and have been friends ever since. Thalia can be a little annoyed at how much Lilith cares about herself, but she has gotten used to it since she has heard some people say the same thing about her.

First Necromantic Encounter: When Olivia was sixteen, she was out in the woods hiking before the sun set like she usually did for her evenings despite wolf sightings and attacks recently. She didn't pay much attention to those and continued with her usual evening hike. Then she started to hear some howling, and getting the feeling that she was being stalked when she was completely spooked out Olivia made a run for it. She was then tackled to the ground and then bitten by a wolf, but after that she was left alone and ended up waking up several hours later with her shirt torn and her clothes covered in her own blood.

After the attack Olivia was transported to the local clinic in Red Lake, she stayed there for about a day but the marks had healed up rather quickly. Not thinking much of it they released her early and told to keep it easy, which she did however she started noticing the strange things happening to her. Heightened hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch, freaked out about it but she decided to keep this secret. When the first full moon happened that's when she experienced her first werewolf transformation.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: Olivia was born and raised in the small town of Red Lake Pennsylvania, her father is the mayor of Red Lake her family having run the town for centuries and rarely anyone wanting to take the role. Her parents met when they were young, her mother being a teacher at the towns middle school. They fell in love and eventually they got married having three kids, two boys and a girl, growing up Olivia knew pretty much everyone within the town, Olivia being mainly surrounded by boys she grew up hunting and shooting rifles with her family which was something she didn't enjoy. However Olivia enjoyed growing up and having fun with her friends and family, however one night when she turned sixteen things started to change for her after the wolf attack.

Olivia started to notice the changes going on around her, she decided to keep things secret and started hiding things from her family and friends. When she graduated high school Olivia decided to leave the small town wanting to go to college and become a medical examiner, which her parents were supportive over. Olivia moved to New York where she settled into an apartment sharing it with her roommate Samantha Hunter, the two of them were pretty close friends. Sam studying for journalism and Olivia studying Forensic Pathology, Olivia learned it all pretty well, eventually taking up her residency at the hospital.

Eventually Olivia graduated taking a job in New York as the medical examiner there, and assisting the coroner there, even though it was a creepy job for most people. She did enjoy it quiet a bit as she learned from the doctor there, a few years later the news started to sprout out around the things in Altsoba and her friend going there to get the scope on what was going on there. Which would be the last time Olivia would ever see or hear from Sam again.
Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: Olivia was devastated when she heard the news of her friend Sam being one of the victims of the Altsoba Massacre, she only visited the site once after everything had happened. Olivia then decided to move from New York City having it being the place where she met her friend. She decided to move to Coventry they were looking for medical examiners and when the murders happened she was hired there.

Olivia and Seraphina met briefly after the events of the Altsoba Massacre, though they didn't really know one another very well. They did talk briefly on what happened and what she knew that's about it.

Only living in Coventry for a month Olivia has taken the role of Coventry's newest coroner, taking the job after Coventry's previous one suddenly quitting. Though until she has found a place Olivia has been living in the Coventry Horrors Hotel until she has a house of her own. When the murders happened and finding out her father died, Olivia promised she would find out the cause of it.

Personality: Hanson is one that gets lost inside of his own head. Once he becomes convinced of something, it's hard to point out to him the error behind it. He gets easily obsessed and addicted, throwing himself into his work entirely and not surfacing to get a glimpse at the big picture. In this way, he is incredibly emotionally driven. He shoots first and asks questions later.

He hides behind snarky comments and quick words, as if that can somehow provide a shield to protect him from the repercussions of his actions. He doesn't often take responsibility for his wrongdoings, instead preferring to look the other way and move on, making jokes about it whenever it's pointed out to him. It's the only defense mechanism he has, especially given the fact that he was nearly responsible for the end of the world.

History: Detective Hanson's father, Sal, had begun to date a world renowned astronomer when he got word that he was going to be a father. Of course, his girlfriend wasn't the mother. A prostitute he had visited on several occasions was. He didn't want to jeopardize the relationship, certain that the astronomer was his one true love, so he abandoned the expectant mother. She didn't feel prepared to raise a child and gave the kid up for adoption, telling the orphanage that his name was Walter.

He was adopted by Emmy and Lara Hanson, a pair of white witches in their late fifties going on early sixties. He had a relatively stable upbringing, learning about magic and living in a loving family. He ended up working for the police in Altsoba, climbing through the ranks until he was a detective, in charge of investigating homicides. He even had a steady boyfriend, Mason Harkness, who he absolutely adored and wanted to marry.

Of course, Hanson always wondered about his birth parents. About six months before the Altsoba massacre, he was able to find the documentation about his parents. His mother was long dead, but he managed to find out information about his father and a half-sister. But before he could do much reaching out to them, Mason broke things off with him. He spiraled in the worst way imaginable, going to Belladonna Crypt in order to learn about satanic rituals.

Hanson murdered Mason with dark magic. He then became hellbent on ending the world by starting the apocalypse, summoning demons like Mephistopheles and killing a reporter who saw too much. He was, to say the very least, bad news. It was during the apocalypse that he had a change of heart, regretting what he had done, but it was too late.

O.M.E.N. branded him as a terrorist soon after the apocalypse, forcing Hanson to go on the run. He reached out to his half-sister, Andromeda, and hid out in the upper floors of her family's hotel. If caught, he knows that O.M.E.N. will send him to the electric chair, no matter how much repenting he attempts to do.

First Necromantic Encounter: October was born with the ability to control and create fire. At the age of five, her ability manifested itself, and burned her house to the ground. Her parents perished in the fire, but their spirits remained in the ruins of the dwelling. The first necromantics that October ever encountered were their spirits. She had ran away from a foster home when she was seven and made her way to the ruins of her previous home. Hunters found it to be an odd case, since those who perish in fires don't usually come back from the dead, as fire is purifying. But her parents were removed from the home by fire fighters before they burned entirely, allowing their spirits to remain. Their ghosts had become vengeful by the time October encountered them and nearly killed their daughter, had it not been for the help of two hunters.

Life Before the Altsoba Massacre: October's mother was a Crypt, while her father was a mortician. The pair of them had only one child, and lived in a formerly abandoned home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. They never realized that their daughter had been born with a gift, with the flames consuming the family home when she was barely five years old, and only October making it out alive. It was at that point that the state sent her to live with her father's family, the Smiths.

She hadn't yet learned how to control her ability, and the family scolded her, thinking that she was simply an arsonist, setting the fires intentionally. They weren't kind to October either due to her surname--they were traditional, and they still viewed her mother as a seductive liberal, tearing their son away. They eventually became convinced that the devil lived within the child and sent for a priest, attempting to exorcise her. Instead, the seven year old girl's arms went ablaze, sending the priest and her grandparents running in fear.

From that point on, October bounced from foster home to foster home, with the state unable (or perhaps unwilling) to find a Crypt family member to take her in. Wherever she went, more fires occurred, and she became associated with a curse. No one wanted to take her in, and October ran away so often that it worked out for everyone. Eventually, the state turned a blind eye to her. She then moved from place to place, working sometimes in circus sideshows as a fire eater, and staying with various Crypt family members for never more than a few months.

By the age of fifteen, October had learned how to control her powers, able to manipulate the fire freely and create it as she wished. She lived with her mother's brother, Silvester, at that point. He legally adopted her, which was a relief to the state, as it allowed them to ignore her in good conscience. However, her spirit has always been accustomed to traveling and moving about, so when she was invited to attend the Alucard Institute for Peculiar Youth, she couldn't help but be curious.

At the Institute, she met Carolina Reed, the younger sister of Cassandra Reed. October was suspicious of the headmaster's motives, a man named Faust, and decided to steal an object of unknown origin with Carolina's help. The pair of them ended up attracting the attention of a covert agency and were eventually sent on a mission to attempt Faust, whose real name was Mephistopheles, from creating an army of individuals with gifts.

Life Since the Altsoba Massacre: October had family in the Altsoba Massacre--distant cousins, to be more specific. She heard that the family had moved to Transylvania, though she is interested in meeting her cousin Mercurial. October knows that she has a similar love of fire. But for the most part, October has been traveling around with Carolina, investigating various areas and sending in periodic reports to Cassandra Reed. At the moment, the girls were heading up to Fall River to check out Lizzie Borden's house, as well as rumors of something tragic and odd happening to a physicist there, Edwina Fairfax. But for the most part, October's life didn't change that much with the massacre. The biggest difference is the creation of O.M.E.N., an organization that she despises.
