No, she said it's a tool of betrayal. That's exactly what it's.

Atalanta is no magus there's no way she could phrase that better to translate to magecraft language, especially for magi of the 21st century.

But what she's said is the exact opposite of informative and into the realm of downright misleading. "Nullifies magecraft" is a pretty different concept from "turn people against you". :P

So generally, it seems right for Estelle to ask her question anyway, because the Archer's given an unclear answer. xD
