Absolutely love that background to the Riverlands. While the Reach is pretty stable and wasn't that badly hit, it's put into perspective by the Riverlands, which seems like this basket of chaos, or massive upheaval. Also, more people for KL for interactions too. :)

I do think it's somewhat off that the Tully kids would be drawn to R'hllor more than the Old Gods or something. Because R'hllor often has the most fanatical followers. See human sacrifice lol. The temple in Volantis even has slaves. I'm also unsure if you can even use R'hllor magic tricks if you don't believe in the god.

Good point. I decided to switch it up and make them more drawn to the Old Gods. In Sylvester's case, he outright worships them and is very protective of the Isle of Faces.

I do like the idea of her going on a foreign tour. If you think it's kosher, perhaps she's also friends with a lot of the Second Generation characters, namely the kids of the characters from the series proper. I could see her having gone on that foreign tour with Aemon or Daenyra for example, and perhaps some of the other Second Gen.

I'm totally okay with that idea. I'll edit it all in tomorrow. :3

@Celeste Interesting. I imagine the heir to Riverrun worshiping the Old Gods is going to ruffle a lot of feathers for sure. Unless it's some kind of dual worship situation like with the Stark kids.

@MrDidact I was actually thinking along the lines of the two oldest Tully kids making the religious strife worse because of Sylvester's Old Gods worship and Catelyn's "secular humanism" or reformism of sorts.

On that line, I'm gonna retcon Mychel's faith issues a bit. The whole R'hllor thing on his sheet never made much sense anyway.

@Celeste It could make for some interesting issues for sure. Especially since the only House that follows them in the Riverlands are the Blackwoods.

Also anyone else think a Children of the Forest and Human hybrid would be an elf or is that just me?

I regret not picking Tully for a House play, i kinda overlooked the big house. So good luck with that.

Looking at Catelyn's sheet I can't help but notice how she looks somewhat similar to Tamsyn and Tamsyn is totally the kind of person who would try and take advantage of that.

I do, do very decent crazy bastards. And are you telling me no one has touched the Iron Islands yet? I was going to go with a Water Dancer Red Priest. But if wha tI'm reading here is right I may need to rethink that.

So then for my own edification. so I don't make a huge idiot of myself. I have a few questions.

A: We're sticking close to canon I suppose. So characters one might be able to create are to be related to cannon characters am I right?

B: Are we pushing to get any major houses in play?

C: Is it required we play a House member?

D: I don't want to dig up old problems, but I do have an older character from another ASOIAF RP that is a complete OC. is it okay perhaps to use that character?

Just a few questions I wanted to get out before I actually start making a character or characters.

@BigPapaBelial A) Yes, this RP was based mostly off of book canon with some show canon circa Season 6, namely deceased characters, and my own speculation about how the end of the series might play out.

B) Right now we actually don't have that many major houses in play. I'm pulling double duty with Targaryen and Lannister while we also have Tyrell and Arryn with Tully in progress. More major houses would be nice, but not strictly necessary.

C) No, you can play single characters or multiple characters who aren't part of a house.

D) That'd be fine, but I'd still have to look over the sheet itself.

If you have any more questions, I'm happy to answer them.

@AtomicNut Do it if you think you can handle more characters.
