@Vec Me neither. Is it just to do with that 'evidence chest' thread on the news board? I just read that and boy, that was...that was a tantrum.


I can understand where the guy is coming from. Before, when I had more time and was in more than one RP, I'd notice a lot of things about the Guild that could be better. I joined the Discord and only lasted for like 2 days before I got cancer and chose to hide back in here, the one RP I truly love and where I can ignore all the drama that goes on thanks to the Discord's existence.

Yeah, I don't recommend joining the Discord. At all.

@BBeast Even opening the links to look at the images while reading that post, the last bar of the music you added finished on the last line of the post. You must be a wizard.

Good post, though. I'm looking forward to Clockdog being the only denizen of that fortress that has its eternal favour. Also, you know, people occupying it and making history. And the whole Rosetta Stone collection you made in there.

I imagine the refugee hain from the ogre conquests to the east may find their sore eyes well rewarded. I would write that story myself if I didn't already have Yorum to deal with.

Did Zephyrion actually use Liquid Light in lamps? It's possible that I've forgotten, but I seem to recall him only having been given one small vial by Astarte. He zealously guarded and hid that gift for a while before eventually using some of its magic to make Ventus and the djinn.

(@Kho HA! That finally solves the plot hole of how djinn don't have souls and yet Ventus was givdn somd soul magic by Astarte's rock. Ventus is exception because he was one of those origignal few born from Zeph's own power and some liquid light)

@Cyclone If a plot hole is solved, then it never existed to begin with.

Anyway, I've been hanging on to this music video for like, six months, in the hope of using it in the Vetros destruction post. But thought I might as well share it now. It's Yara's sound-track. If you listen very carefully near the beginning, it sounds like the singer is saying 'Yara'.

Hmm, let me check that.
Post in which Zephyrion receives his first jar of Liquid Light. He stores it away.
Post in which Djinni are created, from the first vial of Liquid Light.
Post in which Astarte gifts a second batch of Liquid Light, which gets stored away.

No mention of lamps that I have found. I must have mis-read what Zephyrion did with the second gift of Liquid Light.

That said, there's still one vial of Liquid Light floating around the Celestial Citadel unless you somehow found a use for it later and forgot about it. If it was in the lower floors, it may have been destroyed, or it could still be intact. If it was in the upper floors, it might still be there, or it could have been blown up in the explosion.

How does one even decide on this crap?!


I start by choosing one trait and then defining an entire persona around just that one grossly exaggerated part of a personality. See: Zephyrion's pride, Xos' bouts of murderous rage, etc.

It's an approach that makes interesting (albeit perhaps not entirely relatable or realistic) characters. Now that I bring this up, I'm interested in what you guys think about this approach to character creation.

Are all my guys one-dimensional?

The character is going to be centered around deception, illusion, or persuasion, I have an idea for each one and while their powers are (somewhat) similar, it’s all in the personality that each of them is extremely different.
