@The Harbinger of Ferocity
The camp seems to be bustling just like when they first arrived. They are having Brannor haul another box, this one heavier and with less snoring. The things the other prisoners carry do not seem that different.

Back to work is it then? That is a promising turn, or at least I think it might well be. That said, I will see to it in such a case, @Hekazu. Here is to the hope the rest of you "enjoy" your private meeting with the enemy.

Just want to congratulate you all for nearly 500 post, all of which don't seem to falter in depth and length. I was going to ask to join but it seems you guys are in so deep I think it'd be smarter if I just watch.

It should be noted that the presence of Krets near the mess tent is only known to Rebrer and the ban on leaving the camp only by Brannor.

So...

Escape with both Leosin and Brannor. With or without murdering?

I don't mind killing one or two people during our escape, but let's try not to draw too much attention.

I believe that would be for the best, in that removing Leosin from his bonds should be the priority. Freeing Brannor the second of those things then, seeing where we are at that point, needing to kill some of the guards only if need be. I imagine some amount of them are going to be present, at least problematic enough to be important. I have a few ideas for how Brannor could potentially free himself, but none of those I might act on now in broad daylight even to test them or their limits.

Whew, sorry for a lack of posting. I'm going to try to get something up tomorrow. Promises.

As for our escape plan, Orchid's not much of a thinker but he's down for anything. I don't think he knows about Leosin yet (No one's told him and he wasn't looking), but if asked we should take him at night, and when we do, probably leave a decoy. That way no one would be able to tell at a glance that he's missing while we skedaddle.

We are more or less looking for @Irredeemable to post. Tomorrow we will be moving forward, with or without them. If without, Rebrer will need to be handled in some way, but I can figure it out.

I see, well in such an absence of any other posts, I suppose I will cobble something together in the meanwhile just to make an attempt at keeping this going.

I am quite disheartened to feel like that would be only delaying the inevitable @The Harbinger of Ferocity. If you want to restart the timer, that is up to you. Unfortunately your character is perhaps the one who is the least relevant in this scene.

What is it that drives the RP to dwindle into slowness? It looked so promising once again there for a moment. Do I not give enough to work with? Have I failed to make the situation interesting? I have no idea what I should improve at this point. I try to be present, answer to questions when those crop up (though that's been a rarity as of late), have tried to have you people talk through any possible problems and misconceptions via OOC to make the process more fluid and transparent for everyone... If it's something I can help with, reach out to me, people!

Well tbh I guess right now it's just a bit of uncertainty. We've already sorta been outted as "outsiders", and even if we don't know who exactly, I'm sure we're all quite aware that we're being watched now. Part of me feels like we should try to assassinate the leaders while we're here (though from my understanding coup de grace has been removed from 5e) but that's a crapshoot at best. I have a feeling that we're suppose to save Leosin first and foremost but while we're under heavy watch I'm not sure how we're suppose to pull that off without coordinating or causing something to happen. I was thinking causing some sort of a fight or disturbance, perhaps using the bandits vs cultists since there seems to be some sort of a divide among them. During the chaos we free Leosin and gtfo. But right now Orchid has no means to actually tell anyone this plan, and frankly I'm more worried about finding a way to free Brannor.

My personal take on the matter is that at times of uncertainty, it is a good idea to have an OOC chat about it and try to come up with something. While you as a player might have an idea, it could be integrated into the head of another character if that would make the scene flow better. Torus is also close to you and the malodorous tanner seems to be doing his job mostly focused on just that. Doing his side job.

I will also answer to any inquiries about possible plans with a benefits VS risks analysis from all your characters can gather. What I recommend now is to seek a course of action with the fellow players, rather than inaction. Both IC and OOC it should be clear that not doing anything will only lead to your demise.

And yes, letting Leosin and Brannor free followed by a GTFO manoeuvre does not sound too bad.

All that I can offer about the current situation and solution is that the cover of darkness might be for the best, as well as acquiring Leosin first, assuming he is still there and alive. Any escape that involves being witnessed will likely sound the alarm, which means the worst we need deal with are the horses, given we have as of yet seen the dragon. Perhaps the answer is to acquire Leosin somehow, steal the horses at dark, then ride off in escape, given there are only a couple of guards at the entrance.

I’ll try to work on a post ASAP, though I’ll loath to admit I’m kinda driving cross country due to an unreliable courier service. No wifi or signal up until now. Apologies for any further delays.
