Shut up about that.

In the Star Wars prequels we're forced to sympathize with two opposing forcing. No, not the Jedi and the Sith, but rather the Jedi and Anakin. Anakin let go of everything to become a Jedi and train under Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan. He reluctantly left his mother in slavery, alone with no one to help her in the jobs they used to share. He was forced to accept the role of magic space jesus, and a prophecy that put him at the forefront of a MASSIVE war to rebalance the ENTIRE GALAXY.

This cult-like religion forces him to keep his feelings secret, not letting them out even in privacy. While they show leniency when he does show emotion and sometimes reckless abandon, otherwise they force him to be something he's not. Anakin is raised to believe that emotions are evil. So when he gets secretly married to the one person in his life that lets him be himself, it creates more stress than one person can possibly manage.

Yet he carries on his duties and does his best, even betraying on of his hest friends in the process, and throwing away his morals for the sake of an army masquerading as a religion. All he asks for in return is trust and acceptance, yet he gets neither of those things.

On the other side, the Jedi are the only force stopping the sadistic, murderous, scheming Sith from taking over the galaxy and turning it into a living Hell. After thousands of years of war and destruction, they finally see what they think is salvation. They groom their new bringer of peace into a force to be reckoned with. They believe that he will either destroy their enemies, or stop all the senseless fighting between them. In a way, they were right.

Anakin is lost, and the Jedi are desparate

The constant wars have not just taken their toll on the Jedi, however. Everyone's favorite Gungan, for instance, has been affected by the Sith. Jar Jar went from a bumbling, but happy go-lucky country bumpkin to a representative of his people...however, he's lost his happiness. His true companions, as well.

Padme lost her entire planet to conflict, and her life to grief.

Obi Wan resents Anakin for the loss of Qui Gon and, subsequently, the loss of his innocence. Though he came to accept Anakin as his brother that, too, would turn out to be for the worst, as more heartbreak came when Anakin betrayed the Jedi. His master and his best friend, killed by conflict. One by the Sith, one by the Jedi.

With this we can assume only one thing: it was not Anakin who was prophesied to bring balance to the Force, but rather Darth Vader. After order 66, only two Jedi- two TRUE Jedi- remained. Obi Wan, and Yoda. And only two TRUE Sith remaind. Palpatine and Darth Vader.

Though, in the end, Yoda and Obi Wan's deaths and, later, Palpatine and Darth Vader's death, would leave the Force unbalanced...as Luke remained.

Thus we can conclude that the First Order is a necessary evil. One Sith cannot live in a world with many Jedi, and one Jedi cannot live in a world with many Sith. Balance must be had- two at once, or none at all.

However, the Jedi and Sith have inherently toxic ideals. The Jedi breed holier than thou robots with no morals, the Sith breed conniving power hungry passionates with even less morals.

The only way to keep the galaxy safe and peaceful is to rid it of both the Sith and the Jedi and, instead, replace them with Grey Knights. True Neutral, they do what they need, using both philosophies of the Sith and the Jedi. Though the Dark Side corrupts, they keep it at bay with self-torture, denying the Dark Side another puppet, but without losing their will to choose a side.

Acting as mercenaries, Grey Knight have no order, only loose rules. They are no leading force, merely people with a tenuous connection at best.

Its the only way.

Life, Liberty, and the Right to shitposting without consideration of the GM's anger and grief for our lack of understanding each others as a better being.

oh, my

@Hannya If you're looking for a place to showcase your writing, a Gallery or Test thread might be a little safer. Just letting you know, as well, that Spam Topics get locked alot quicker from inactivity then other areas of the forum. Not that it's usually a problem, but just letting you know if you're looking for a place to write :D

Anyway, I know you said your sandbox is for shitposting, but I just wanted to let you know your options since Spam's Motto should probably be "Abandon Hope all Ye That Enter Here".

So here, I double post. Because I am a douchebag.

Kill me, Joker shout to Batman. And so he did, with his fists of justice and playboy with multi-billion dollars in his pockets, Batman kills Joker and become the child molester and the worst playboy that we all know.

That reminds me of an old roleplay idea about Muppet Baby OCs in a darker, edgier Muppet Babies setting. Players would utilize Muppetgan to fight off villains and eachother, which would obviously end up being one and the same.

Unfortunately no setting can get darker than the Fascist, segregated world Jim Henson so beautifully crafted in his Creature Workshop cinematic universe. There are three types of people in Jim Henson's world: Muppets (Kermit, Fozzy, Swedish Chef, etc), Humans (Jack Black, Michael Jackson, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, etc), and Monsters (Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster, etc.) The humans are obviously top-dog in this society, taking roles above the muppets and the monsters and often taking their pick of muppets to fill similar roles for amusement. Our main muppets, for instance, all have better careers than other muppets. They produce their own shows while the Swedish Chef is filmed bumbling and getting hurt for everyone's amusement (while the OTHER slapstick is clearly scripted...) But his pain and suffering pales in comparison to the monsters.

Forced to live in poverty on Sesame Street, with their stores run by humans, the monsters are fed chemicals in their food to keep them impressionable and ignorant while their human "caretakers" (really just agents keeping a close eye on the monsters so they don't revolt. They're ready to kill them at any second) "teach" them lessons, knowing full well the monsters will never be able to fully comprehend those lessons.

Monsters are filmed living "nice, peaceful lives" and shown to an ignorant populace so no one tries to free them of their segregation. While we may laugh at the antics of Oscar the Grouch, remember that he onlh lives on Sesame Street because he was stolen away from Grouchland, never to return.

Of course, some monsters get to live in relative luxury. The three most prominent being the Count, Bert, and Ernie, who live away from the others. For cryin' out loud, Bert and Ernie can afford clothes while Elmo goes around naked most of the time. Why do these three get more than the others? Because they snitch on anyone trying to leave, obviously.

Its really messed up.
