I'm not too familiar with SCP but I know 682 well enough. Really, reading the attempts to kill it are fricking hilarious. My favorites are 1265 and 387. The last part for 387 is so goddamn funny if you've spent some time on BZPower.

Experiment 387-e: Once a normal community of 387 was constructed, a small mound of Mega Bloks (a common copy of Lego) was placed near the community. When this happened, everything constructed of 387 stopped moving, turned slowly towards the Mega Bloks and [EXPUNGED].

Addendum 387-6: Jesus fucking Christ. - Dr. Arch

@catchamber For further clarification in the Lego-based RPs I was in on BZPower (Bionicle fansite) we used "Mega Blok" as a general-use cuss word. Really, it fit anywhere, seeing as this is a forum that automatically changes the word "idiot" to "cool dude". I'm not even making that up.

I may just have to dig more into SCP other than hitting the "Funny" subpage on TV Tropes.

219. The fact that SCP-682 regenerates all lost tissue does not make it an "infinite hamburgers machine".
1. Most especially because they tasted horrible.

Will forever be one of the most hilarious things I've read in my entire life

Are you sure you linked the right one? Cuz 2000 seems pretty tame as far as the spoopy-meter goes. Probably the most disturbing one I can think of would be 231, especially when including hidden text and all.

There's a short story about how all the secrecy surrounding the containment of 231 is nothing but a gigantic ruse cruise by the Foundation to prevent the cult from finding out that the Foundation successfully delivered the baby, who turned out to be 999, whom they plan to use against his father once he grows up.

My favorite is 1802, a tiny golem made of garbage that collects and contains anything he doesn't understand, which is everything, made by a group of artists to parody the Foundation. They don't get the joke and in the end are tricked into containing a perfectly ordinary bottlecap just like the little trash guy does. The real magic, though, comes from the discussion page because in a glorious example of life imitating art the people on the site also did not get it until someone made the joke clear.

Other good ones are ●●|●●●●●|●●|●, an SCP that contains no writing, and 1594, which I think is just about the most Junji Ito article on the entire site.
