@Genni I'm not sure what the party is going to look like. I will have power tomorrow, or so they tell me but I have little faith at this point -sighs- but I hope to have everything ready soon anyway.

@Prints Avoid At this time I'm not sure how many players I will have since I know people don't like waiting on things to start.

My parents used to tell me 'patience is a turtle', which I took to mean it's slow as hell, but you can make good soup out of it if you give it a while.

In hindsight perhaps what they really said 'patience is eternal' and I was just purposefully mishearing them.

Ohh is this still open? I've always wanted to play D&D and I'm familiar with 5th Edition rules pretty well.

I'm interested though I don't have resources for 5e. I've played Pathfinder some but that's all.

I can help you with that. I've DM'd several campaigns both online and off so have a decent understanding of he rules and system.

@Zeltron An option for quick access of rules and lore details is Roll20, which now has a (mostly) complete Compendium of all the DnD 5e main details.

If you ever need to quickly find a details on a spell, monster or obscure rule it's a good place to look.

Another good resource for spells, specifically, is the Grimoire. Has all the spells from the PHB as well as all the currently released supplements.
