I'm actually confused why a non-guardsmen would be guarding a gate, by the way. I didn't get the impression the character was a guardsman since you know that's my character's role. I don't understand why a hedge knight would be in such a position.

@Inkarnate well my character also serves in the Hylian Guard. I'm assuming there are multiple gates to defend, no?

I’ve got a post mostly done but I guess I need more information to discern what Sibela would think of this random hedge knight (or actual knight?). Would she know much of her reputation? There are more questions than discernable thoughts in my head right now.

There was nothing in your sheet that mentioned the Hylian Guard nor her capacity in joining it. I saw “soldier”, “knight”, and “war hero” so you can imagine how confused I would be coming to post in the RP to see my role of sorts being infringed upon. If the GM accepted it, he accepted it, but I can’t not be rather confused and a bit miffed by the whole situation. Excellent writing, but it just seems kind of unfair to be put in the position I am in.

Lesina was robbed from the cradle at birth during the Hylian-Gerudo war and then made to serve in the Hylian Army when she came of age. She fought small battles with her Troop under the command of Commander Gerald (who will be mentioned eventually) and became the second-in-command of that Troop. It's not really an important title that would make her famous, but when the war ended she was largely sent back home to fulfill whatever duties the Kingdom is asking of her at the moment. There's most likely more than one gate to watch, right? I didn't specify that she was guarding the literal castle gate, it could have just been Green District.

Sibela likely could have met Lesina during her Squire training if they were in the same Barracks as young girls. If you want Sibela to know about Lesina, that wouldn't be unlikely. @Inkarnate

Idk if Lon Lon Tavern is a real thing, but for this roleplay I guess I'm making it so if that's alright haha

More interestingly, I find the idea that the Lon Lon Tavern not actually being owned by the Lon Lons to be far more entertaining.

I am also concerned how the GM is going to balance the cast when it is this large, but I'd be a hypocrite if I complained too much since I'm running a RP with a hard cap of 20 right now.

Sibela ain’t a knight, she’s a guard. There’s a difference as far as I can tell – or at least I thought so.

Yeah, I suppose given their similar ages they could have some passing knowledges and experiences with one another. But, uh, this is kind of a curveball I didn’t see coming and I apologize if I come off as pissy or entitled because this did kind of take the wind out of my sails.

Yeah, this. I feel like this isn't a solid situation for everyone to horde into: Though in his defense maybe he intends to try and split us up once we're inside the castle.

That's a guess, nothing more.
