Ten or so feet from Cuna is one of the hobo types resting against the wall of the Station Hall. He is obviously a junky of the lowest ranks with syringe track marks up his forearm, festering scabs in the crease of his elbow. He has dark sunken eyes, pallid skin, purple lips and body odor that could be clearly smelt from that distance. This man also caught Cuna’s attention with a shaky raise of one hand as he motions for Cuna to come closer.

“brotha….” He says, in a broken voice only just audible enough for Cuna to hear; “Gib meh a lil somfin, just a lil fix te hel meh sleep. Won ya do dat fo meh, brotha?”

Cuna felt a (completely coincidental) shiver go down his spine as he looked at the junkie, grimacing at the very sight of the man. Did Pirila really think he was one of those? Granted, he hadn’t fucking looked in a mirror for a while, but he fucking tried to take decent care of himself.

Of course, Cuna smoothly averted his gaze as though he hadn’t even seen or heard the man. He calmly moved on away from the damn honestly disgusting excuse for a human, retracing his steps towards the direction where he had seen the girl move off to. Granted he had to fuckin’ try and limit his bloody swearing near her, but at least she was decent fucking company. He purposely avoided the entrance with that asshole chauvinist or whoever the fuck was down there who was supposedly an admiral of fucking whatever.

Damien- New York? (Cafe)

@Hokum

Damien walked over and sat across from the woman, resting his arm on the back of the chair as he leaned back. He raised an eyebrow as he looked at the waitress. "Water, please." He requested before turning his attention back to the woman in front of him. He listened to what she had to say, although it was clear that whatever "visits" she's talking about, they were pretty... contained.

The Half-Demon sighed as he decided to play along. "Alright. I'm just gonna rattle off your answers all together." He began before continuing. "My name is Damien Crowley. I'm a Half-Demon, the infernal being on my father's side. There is more to the afterlife than just Hell, Hell being the one with all the screaming and fire. The Afterlife can't get too full, or the demons will spill out into the material realm to make room. Trust me, they do not give a damn about what's already here. Many demons know this and try to take advantage." Damien said before jutting a thumb to his chest. "I stop them."

Damien needed information, and clearly this woman was knowledgeable at the very least. She had to have something. "Today there was a huge influx of souls that reached heaven and hell. An upset in the balance can only mean one thing. Something dangerous is out there, and it's messing with shit. I'm going to find out what it is and stop it." He said determined. Damien then relaxed and gestured with his hand. "Alright. Cards on the table. Your turn."

"Is that so? Well, if we ever-"

Malcolm could not finish his sentence as Fanny brutely stomped the gas pedal. The six inline roared as Fanny did a proper J-turn and proceeded to race towards the gate.

"Miss Fanny, I absolutely do not recommend-"

Yet again, Malcolm swallowed his words as they barely hit the gate and approached the intersection. His tires protested as they took the left turn at the intersection.

"I am not really one for surprises, miss Fanny, and-", he stopped speaking for a moment to assist Fanny in avoiding a car, "Oh blimey, the traffic rules, miss Fanny! The traffic rules!"

From that moment on, Fanny could feel that something was restraining complete control over the car. Malcolm braked when he deemed it absolutely necessary, but did not interefere too much with her driving style.

When it was quieter on the road, he looked at the city surrounding him, with cars that could actually fly! He did not have much time to comment on them, however, since he was busy correcting Fanny's driving as if he was some fancy nagging Mercedes S-Class. The advanced machinery in the wreckyard already made it clear that this world was more advanced than Earth.

Chapter Two

Just a Small Universal Community Conflict

@Doc Doctor @Dartbored Fairy

"OOF!"

The bullet strikes Madot Square in face of the mask. It doesn't penetrate, however - though it fragments on impact - but the force of the blow crushes Madots nose and sends him down on his back as he squeezes his own trigger. The Quantum rifle releases a high-pitched whoosh and a circular energy pulse that narrowly misses Donny's head, and instead strikes the first floor wall of the Station behind him. The impact of the energy pulse blows a 6 foot hole in the wall as particles of dust and brick explode both in and out from the building with a massive boom.

Madot lies stunned on his back for a moment as tears caused from his broken nose cloud his vision. Meanwhile, Communications officer Cas - reacting purely on impulsive instinct - draws his Quantum rifle as he takes a leap backwards from Donny. Mid-air, he squeezes his trigger as well - but since he really didn't believe in killing anything unless absolutely necessary - his own rifle is set to stun. A crack like that of a whip is heard as a blade of yellow light grazed Donny's shoulder. In the following instant, Lieutenant Shard realizes what was happening and starts screaming at the top of her lungs while literally running in circles.

The 50,000 volts (26 watt) charged stun-shot from Cas's rifle - had it hit Donny directly - would have been enough to bring a man his size to the ground for a minute or two. But since it only grazes his shoulder, it would at the very least stun Donny enough to confuse and disorientate him for few seconds.

A few seconds, of course, is all Cas needs to land on his feet and take a better aim at Donny while, in a struggle to get his bearings, Madot scrabbles from the ground, frantically trying to find a target through his deluge of tears, which in his desperation to defend his own life, causes him to fire his rifle at the first moving object he sees, Hida. Simultaneously, Cas takes his second shot at Donny's torso.

@Dartbored Fairy

Fanny smiled ever so politely while Pirila said her piece, but in the closing of her words, Fanny's expression suddenly becomes serious. At the speed that would have seemed humanly impossible, she drops her beer and lunges at both Mili and Pirila, tackling them both to the floor and landing on top of them just as the blast from Madot's weapon blew a 6 foot hole in the wall of the room. Dust and debris explodes out across the room and rains on top of them while Fanny shelters their faces with her body.

As the dust begins to settle and lieutenant Shard can now be heard screaming outside, Fanny wastes no time in removing herself from on top of the two girls, dusting herself off before offering them a hand up from the floor.

"Are you two alright? ...Man, I can't believe they made me spill my beer."

@Zyngard

As Cuna makes his way to the stairs leading to the first floor where Pirila had headed earlier, the explosion upstairs sounded through the Station Hall, followed by the words "Take cover, Fuck You!" as a heavy force strikes Cuna from behind, bringing him down face-first on the stairs.

In the dying of the blast, and realizing he acted a little hasty, Dino lifts himself fast off of Cuna.

"I must apologize, Fuck You" He says, removing his riffle from the holster," But one can never be too careful on an alien planet filled with barbar – "

Dino was cut off by the sound of Lieutenant Shard’s creaming outside. He turns fast and heads for the door, raising his rifle and switching its setting to Sonic Pulse.

@Quote5@CmdrAlfieq

"Well never mind then." Fanny tells Ernest. "You'll see what I mean by Cat and Mouse soon enough." She then smiles warmly for the repair pod as he waddles out of the room.

It is now that the computer terminal comes alive with a response from MASGC Space Headquarters. Fanny listens quietly with Ernest until the transmission ends, then puckers her lips in an amused yet mischievous fashion.

"Well then..." She can't help but laugh a little, despite the circumstances. "We don't want to be branded as cowardice insolence's, now do we, Ernest? I guess we better go make the commanders acquaintance." Tapping into navigational controls - likely against Ernest's permission once again - she add's; "You're up, Erny. I'll set in a course that will land us closer of their headquarters. You should get on the horn and let the commander know we're only a few minutes away."

She finishes her beer with a few quick chugs and sets the empty bottle on the floor at her feet, then waits for Ernest to finish transmitting the message to MASGC Headquarters.

"I could really do with another beer..." She says, and hits the button to send them into Hyper-drive....

@Quote5

While Rorod and the Factory Head start their work on the new schedule, a 20 mile long torpedo-shaped spaceship drops out of Transit-Drive just off the Starboard bow of Rodia and glides to a halt. Within seconds Rodia is seized be a tractor beam from the unknown vessel before Ramrod, supposedly sitting in his office, vanishes.

In the following instant, Ramrod finds himself in a large metallic and door-less room. On one side of the room, high up on the wall, is a view screen of sorts, though at this time no image is being displayed. It's just a blank, black screen. But Ramrod doesn't seem to be entirely alone. Although he can see no one else, a thunderous voice that seems to come from every direction shakes the room:

"You are a unique life form. You have been added to our treasure. You are ours. Your R-core unites will be made to service our civilization."

Back on Rodia, it will probably be only a matter of time before the various R-Core unites become aware of Ramrods absence by internal sensors, or maybe by Rorod who decides to burst into his office to find Ramrod isn't there. Either way, Rodia continued to be seized by the tractor beam from the alien vessel as it slips into transit-drive again, dragging Rodia along with it.

@Oh no my soup

Propulsions Are Us

was the name of the fuel stop, or rather a 15,000 square mile mobile space station equipped to cater to all manner of vessel form city ships to one man crafts. As Magnus draws closer, he receives a cheerful audio hail from the station:

“Hi there, I’m Doug, and welcome to Propulsions Are Us! Please power down all weapons and any other system that may be deemed hazardous to life. Please proceed to docking bay 13, 469, 277-59687-B, and be careful not scratch the pain work on your way in. Nuclear fusion is on special today, along with various other forms of fuel. We also have a wide variety of food outlets in the central Mess Hall, with cuisines from all over the Universe, so feel free to fuel that hungry belly of yours as well. Enjoy your stay!”

As the transmission terminates, docking bay 13, 469, 277-59687-B opens up to allow the pineapple ship entry.

@GingerBoi123

Fanny appears genuinely intrigued by Damien’s story, shown by widening of her eyes and several licks of her lip. When he’s done, the waitress returns with their order. Fanny cracks open her beer and chugs down the whole lot as though her life depends on it, finishing just in time to ask the waitress for a second before she even had a chance to walk away from the table.

“So that’s why don’t remember you too well,” She confirms, “hell just isn’t a place I frequent. That Lucifer guy, he really has it in for me. But anyway….”

Leaning back in her chair, she props up her glasses once more and gives Damien big, genuine smile.

“My names Fanny, Fanny May. Right now I’m just an average working class girl in an average working class world; a book keeper for a law firm a few blocks from here. But you know what, I’ve really been fanging for an adventure. So how about I come along with you - just you and me - on this more than slightly bizarre crusade of yours?” She slams her hand down on the table to signify that she means business. “What do ya say, you up for some working-class girl company?!”

Just then, before Damien even had chance to respond, their attention is stolen by a heavy commotion out on the street. Armageddon had arrived in that very moment. Pedestrians start screaming and running for their lives as cars started smashing into one another; no doubt an effect caused by the fact that the earth started shaking and the whole of the sky burst into flames.

Massive billowing tongues of fire lap down upon the city. The people burst into flames, vehicles ignite, the concrete structures begin to melt, while just a few feet away from their table inside the café, the air itself appeared to rupture, opening a fissure to darkness beyond.

“I guess that’s our cue!” Fanny says, as she rises from her seat and apprehensively steps towards the fissure. She then stops, looks back at Damien suspiciously, saying; "Is this yours?"

As she's waiting for a response from Damien, the firestorm outside breaches the interior of the cafe. The windows explode as the flames swirl in towards her. There in that suspended moment in time, she appears to not know what to do and looks to Damien for answers. She either enters the fissure to her possible doom, or be consumed without doubt by the fast approaching flames. Regardless of whether or not she's that stupid or maybe just testing him, there is but an instant before the flames would consume her.

@Scorpionius

Fanny loves Malcolm; such a well-spoken prim, so calm and collective despite being lost in time and space, utterly separated from the world he knew. Everything about him kept a smile on her face as they continues on their somewhat restrained though reckless journey through the city streets.

Soon they arrive at a large, concrete factory-style building near the edge of the city. A billboard above the building reads “Lift Off” in flashing neon lights, though the effect is a little dull in broad daylight. Fanny pulls into the drive and honks the horn, gaining the attention of whoever was inside. After a minute of waiting, a time in which Malcolm was probably getting curios as to what this place was, the massive hangar doors in front of them open.

From the outside, Malcolm can likely see rows of allocated bays inside. Each parking bay is big enough to keep vehicles up to the size of industrial excavators, and are manned by a few assigned workers, all of them dressed similarly in grey lab coats; the geeky looking mechanic kind with their fancy equipment. Each bay is also labelled with a sign indicating the type of adjustment or maintenance each bay is for. Some of these labels include, but are not limited to: Terrestrial Modifications and Repairs, Aero Modifications and Repairs, Spatial Modifications and Repairs, Temporal Modifications and Repairs, Quantum Modifications and Repairs. If Malcolm chooses to enter, he will have his pick from any one of these bays.

“You have the honor.” Fanny tells him still smiling, clearing her feet from the pedals and removing her hands from the gearstick and wheel. “And don’t you worry. These guys are the best at what they do, they won’t change what you look like or who you are. I’d never let that happen to you.

The choice is yours.”

-Cas moved faster than Donny had anticipated, his inhuman strength lending him just enough pep to defy the expectations Donny had set for a man his size. The blast grazed Donny's shoulder and an intense shock flooded his body.-

~Hit... Dead!? Careless...~

-But no. Donny still drew breath, and he even managed to hold onto his Glock. In fact it hadn't been any worse than the OC training Donny used to have to undergo now and then. 50,000 volts was how much power most police-grade stun guns delivered, he'd felt it before on multiple occasions. Simple Marines get tased in basic training. Donny had been a marine, and he had to be tased even more during and after his special forces training.
He'd been careless, hadn't figured that otherworldly technology can belong to beings with otherworldly strength and intelligence. Donny made a mental note not to make the same mistake again. As Cas landed, Donny recovered more quickly than might have been anticipated. He had only turned halfway to Cas earlier, precisely so that when he drew his revolver with his other hand, it wouldn't be noticed either. A bullet magnitudes larger than the 9mm barreled out of Donny's coat with a crack like raging thunder, but the aim was different this time. Donny had registered that the suits were somewhat bulletproof after seeing Madot survive, and so he got creative. The massive .454 bullet was set to his Cas in the pad of his jaw at mach 1.7, hitting like a jaw-busting knockout punch that'd rock his brain in its case and leave him unconscious rather than dead. If it hit, then Donny'd pivot towards the other two, firing both guns at once in two separate directions with incredible accuracy and timing, bald brows furrowed together in concentration.
He lead a .454 bullet towards Madot's jaw as he had the other man, aim concealed and impeccable. The 9mm R.I.P bolted for Shard's lead left foot right as she shifted her weight forwards on her next step, that her foot would be pushed out from beneath her and she'd unbalance and potentially fall flat on her face.
It'd take Donny approximately three-quarters of a second to fire all three shots upon recovering from being grazed by a stun charge, and a second more to sweep over Madot's body like a low, black shadow, pistols holstered, to swipe up the quantum rifle and bring it to bear on the group. He'd set it to stun after a quick glance at Cas's rifle for example. He didn't want to risk damaging too many of the teleportation devices with that absurd blast radius.
With a quantum rifle in his hands, the maroon tendrils of flickering danger that could be felt rising from Donny's frame would swarm into an exultant, palpable frenzy of imminent doom. If Hida survived Cas's shot, she'd notice that Donny was calmly regarding her, eyes as flat and staring as a funhouse portrait, the kind whose gaze seems to follow you heedless of which angle you look at it from.-

As Ernest

"I'm starting to regret associating myself with you." Ernest says to Fanny May, who has basically become the captain. Against Ernest's will.

Ernest Contacts the MASGC: "This is Ernest of... The Ernest. We mean you no harm, we are just informing you of Hany's Ribbon, and how it's basically guaranteed death for all of you if you stay here. I have scene it's power. It effortlessly destroyed a solar system. In case it wasn't clear, we have nothing to do with the Ribbon."

Ernest continues the message: "Also, just a heads up, we are going to dock near you. That's not a request. You can fight us if you want. I have no intention to hurt you, but I am both willing to and capable of fighting whatever you have as defence should the need rise."

After Ernest sends the transmission, he metaphorically turns back to Fanny May, and says "Remind me to come up with a better way to introduce myself over coms. And you should probably limit your beer intake. Being drunk in this situation does not seem like a good idea."

As Rodia

The R-Core fall silent in fear as the entirety of Rodia rumbles, many lights malfunction, general earthquake stuff. This is far more alarming for them, since this isn't a planet, and therefore shouldn't be able to Earthquake. As some, but not all, of the lights come back on, the R-Core start talking. "What the heck was that?" says one. "How am I supposed to know?!" says another. A few look out the nearby windows. "That thing, whatever it is, probably has something to do with it." Sais a third, pointing towards the massive space torpedo. R-Core start gathering around windows to look in awe of the incredible spaceship.

Lars flips out as the strange spaceship attacks, and Ramrod disappears from right beside him. As he talks with other officials, he figures out they are being attacked. "I must inform Rorod!" he says, as he starts running to the factory.

Over at the factory, Rorod and The Head manage to make sure no new R-Core were started. Although, 10 incomplete R-Core are already started, three of which were accidentally activated before hand, and five more have been activated from being startled from the attack. There are now 8 fully active R-Core that are incomplete, and two that will wake up soon.

Suddenly, Lars bursts into the Factory Head's Office. "Mr Rorod! I have grave news!"

Rorod: "Yeah, I heard about the attack."

Lars: "It's more than JUST an attack, Rorod! Ramrod is gone! I have no idea where he is or why he disappeared! It probably has something to do with the attack but I can't be sure."

Rorod: "What."

Rorod reluctantly leaves the factory to the Factory Head, and goes with Lars back to Ramrod's office. There, they attempt to hail the giant space torpedo. They send the message through several different coms systems, hoping at least one will work. "This is Rorod, executive assistant of Ramrod and acting leader of Rodia. Consearning your latest attack... What the heck, man?! What are you doing? Why are you attacking us?! And if you know where our leader, Ramrod, is, I demand to know!"

As Ramrod

Ramrod is understandably confused from being teleported. He looks around, and is greatly disturbed by what the omminice voice is saying.

"Mraoh? mraoh? Mraoh.... Mraoh mraoh mraoh?!" (Unique lifeform? Treasure? Are... are these things trying to enslave the R-Core?!) Ramrod is assuming his captors can not understand him.

"Mraoh mraoh..." (I should try to communicate with these people...) Ramrod mraoh'd to himself. "Mraoh! Mraoh mraoh mraoh!" (Mraoh! I must have left the translator back at home!) No use translating that first mraoh, I would have to censor it anyway.

Ramrod thinks he might be able to use his web to write on the wall to communicate with his captors. He's still thinking about that, though.

Gillian Reed folds her hands behind her back and sighs as she looks into space.

Gillian’s damp stare out the window is broken by three heavy knocks at the door. Though the treble of knocks could be invariably described as just that, they do carry an effect of aberrant animosity that strongly disturbs the pacific air of the room.

Received by an unknown sender, the operator continue to listen Ernest's transmission and not going to send back until they're closer to the MASGC space headquarters. The operator then send a short message to remind his commander for preparing a meeting in a short notice. And with a quick effort, the crewmen of MASGC space headquarters are quickly inspected a small guest room to make sure that everything is stay reasonable in a sense of fresh environment.

On top of events to make sure that every men and equipment in Iceolia aren't lost during within less than 24 hours notice, half of the colony had started to migrated into MASGC space headquarters through quick shuttles from an improvised spaceport. Sadly, not everything can be loaded into MASGC space headquarters as there's not enough human necessities or viable spaces to keep all at optimal level.

Cuna barks out a short cough as he slams face fucking first into the stairs, while at around the same time he heard an explosion rather nearby. “The hell-?” Ah fuck the ash storm! He groaned and got up from the stairs, to see the ash storm... dying down. Oh.

“The fuckin’ hell was that?” He shook his head, raising a palm to his forehead and closing his eyes. “(You’ve got to be shitting me... a headache. Just what this fucking day needed)” That said, he briefly turns towards Dino and gives him a nod “Thanks.” Before quickly running up the stairs. He hadn’t taken too much time to look outside, and he really didn’t fucking care.

Before Ernest could successfully dock in the MASGC space station, his sensors picked up a distress signal. The signal seemed to be emanating from a starship that just came out of hyperspace, not far from Ernest's location. The craft also appeared to be heavily damaged and was seemingly drifting in space, as if its engines were disabled. Further scans show that the starship also has several robotic signals inside, along with one biological signature...

---

The first thing Meta saw when he woke up was the dark expanse of space.

As he slowly regained his senses, he realized that he was strapped to the pilot's seat of the Tempest and was looking out through the steelglass window of the cockpit. He slowly moved his hands to unbuckle himself, fortunately, the ship's indoor gravity was still operational as he slowly pulled himself up from his seat. Looking around the empty cockpit, he turned behind him to face the door separating the area from the rest of the bridge, he walked forward and slammed the button on the control panel as the steel door instantly gave way. He staggered towards the terminal, still recovering from the affects of traveling through hyperspace and sat himself down, taking a quick breath as he stared at the computer terminal in front of him. The display showed the less than optimal status of the ship:

------------

WEAPONS SYSTEMS - 15% CAPACITY
REACTOR - 17% CAPACITY
ENGINE POWER - 3% CAPACITY
DROID CREW - 15% CAPACITY
SENSOR ARRAY - 33% CAPACITY
SHIELDS - 0% CAPACITY
HULL INTEGRITY - 70% CAPACITY

------------

His mind raced, his vessel was crippled and he was stuck on an uncharted region of space. Faced with no other alternative, he broadcasted a distress signal to any nearby ships as far as his sensor systems could reach. Now all he had to do was wait and hope that someone out there received it.

Malcolm was slightly relieved that Fanny finally decided to use the brakes. She had to, since they appear to have arrived at their destination, but he was relieved nonetheless. How she got her driver's license was a mystery to him- if she had one.

The building they soon entered was what appears to be a gigantic garage. There was room for the most exotic and and supersized vehicles, machines that Malcolm could not even imagine back on Earth. The bays were specified for various different vehicles.

He was looking at the bay that said 'Quantum Modifications and Repairs' on it, confused as to how that would work, before Fanny interrupted his thoughts.

"Oh! Well, Miss Fanny, I do not need anything special. Merely some basic maintenance is fine", he said. It was as if invisible hands rotated the steering wheel when he turned towards the 'Terrestrial Modifications and Repairs' bay, assuming that that is the one a car would need.

"I do have an important question, though. Are they able to do maintenance without... machines? You see, Miss Fanny, prolonged contact with Carthropods is... not exactly something I can recommend to a machine not from my world".

"And 'machines' unfortunately enough includes 'car lifts'".

Mili yelps as the strange woman - Fanny or something - dived at her and pushed her to the floor, followed by the loud bang as a hole appeared in the wall. Did her eye summon more things to attack?

She watched on quietly as Pirila ignored the woman's hand and stood up on her own, pulling Mili to her feet. It was obvious that Pirila didn't trust this Fanny woman, and to be fair neither did Mili. Who was she? How did she show up here so suddenly, and why would anyone be willing to drink... whatever it was she was drinking. Mili doesn't know what it is, only that it doesn't look tasty.

It doesn't take long before Pirila starts talking after getting up, and boy does she sound angry. Mili cautiously hides behind her as Pirila starts complaining.

"What are you even talking about?!?" Pirila shouts. "First you show up in our house, spouting nonsense, and then you attempt to protect us from a hole being blown in our wall before it even happens!"

Mili, still hiding behind Pirila, cautiously nods - not that anyone can see it. It was kind of weird how apparently this woman knew about what happened before it was going to happen! Was she working with whatever blew a hole in their wall? Was someone trying to attack them again? Mili didn't know, and she was scared.

Pirila, meanwhile, was mostly angry.

"I don't know how long you've been here, but you've been nothing but suspicious and nothing but trouble has happened. Please leave now."

Hida jumps in surprise as a firefight breaks out in front of her. She'd expected things to get foul, but not this foul. Would these people really just shoot eachother right in front of the Station? It sure appeared that way.

Not wanting to be a casualty in this pointless firefight, Hida decides to take cover, and runs to hide behind a crumbled wall nearby. Madot's shot misses her, and hits a ruin in the distance. The blast destroys the ruin's wall, sending it crumbling as debris is launched in all direction, narrowly missing one of the Station's windows.

Not wanting to be blown to pieces, Hida dives behind the wall and waits until the sounds of fighting cease. After all, it likely wasn't safe to peek out before she was certain that she wouldn't be hit by stray bullets.

As it turns out, Cas and Madot's second shots are fired in the same exact moment that the highly skilled Donny fires his following round at Cas. The Stun shot from Cas did make full contact with Donny's solar plexus, not just a passing graze of the shoulder like before, but delivering the full dispersion of energy into the ganglia and radiating nerves of the sympathetic system at the pit of Donny's stomach. Unfortunately for Cas, Donny's jaw shot is also accurate. There was no time dodge or even see it coming. With a swift snap back of head, Case drops to the ground like a raggedy Ann doll.

In the very short moments to follow, Donny's anticipation to fire off his following rounds at Madot and Shard is delayed by the effects of Cas's shot at his solar plexus. This delay, of course, is long enough for Dino Gavon to open the door of the Station Hall Behind Donny, and, without even an instant to waste, releases his Sonic Pulse directly into Donny's central back region, but not before Donny recovers and manages - against all odds and probability - to release his next shot at Madot's jaw with surprising accuracy. Madot goes down for the count as well.

At the output Dino had set his riffle, the Sonic Pulse would be enough shatter Donny's ribs, fracture his spine, and cause a significant amount of internal bleeding and organ rupturing. Nevertheless, despite the immense amount of pain, Donny would still be conscious as he finds Dino standing above him, rifle now aimed at his head. One tender squeeze of his trigger and it's over for Donny. Despite his usual, less-than-professional behavior, Dino is fast, accurate, highly skilled, and appointed Admiral for a reason.

"Best you remove any thought of pursuing this attack." He tells Donny, and for a change he sounds like a man fit for his position. The severe, cold disdain in Dino's eye is more than enough to let Donny know he wasn't fucking around. It wasn't worth taking the chance. "Right now your ribs are broken and several of your internal organs are ruptured, at the very least. The only way you'll survive is have my doctors take care of you. So guess what, Buzz Lightyear, your wish has come true; you get to visit to a cool star ship now."

"Shard!" Dino turns his voice to the lieutenant, though keeps his unwavering glare on Donny's funhouse gaze. "Have this neanderthal delivered to the medical bay of the science ship Erud. Apprise them of the situation. Full automaton security. Have Cas and Madot delivered to the medical bay of the Flagship."

Shard had stopped screaming and running in circles the instant she saw Dino again. Immediately she follows his instructions, sending a transmission to The Erud and the Flagship. Dino keeps his intense watch on Donny, rifle remaining pointed at his head. It will be just a matter of seconds before Donny is teleported.

Fanny doesn’t attempt to expalin herself, and she doesn’t seem at all phased by Pirila’s lack of gratitude or unwillingness to tolerate her presence. While she’s spouting off her words, Fanny raises her brow and leans to one side to get a glimpse of Mili hiding behind Parila. She pops out her tongue in a teasing manner then gives her a playful smile. But once Pirila stops talking, Fanny tells Mili to remember to apply the lotion to the burn on her neck, and that everything will be okay.

“Well, alright, that’s fine,” Fanny agrees with Pirila, confirming her lack of concern with a shrug of one shoulder, “I’ll leave you for now.”

She then turns and starts walking out of the room, only to stop at the doorways and look back over her shoulder to say; “But you should know... that you can’t fight your destiny forever, Pirila. Life has a way of catching up with you. Sooner or later you’ll have to accept me. That’s just the way it is.” With that said, she gives Mili another playful smile and walks out of the room.

Oddly enough, by the time Fanny had finished speaking her final words to Pirila, the beer bottle she had dropped on the floor was no longer there. It and the spilled contents had vanished, while the hole Madot had made in the wall was no longer there either. The wall was as it had been before the incident. But what may have made this completely bizarre, was that the rubble, dust and debris caused by the explosion was still strewn across the floor.

@Zyngard

After exiting the room with Pirila and Mili, Fanny walks straight into Cuna as he reaches the top of the stairs. The collusion is enough to make Fanny stagger backwards a few steps, but her following surprised reaction to the sudden encounter is obviously pretentious, to point of being a sarcastic. She braces her face in both hands and gasps, pivoting one ankle to knock her knees together.

"Oh my - Oh my!" She declares like some bad actor from s 50's film. "I beg your pardon, sir, I should really just watch where I'm going!" Now, Fanny’s pretentious reaction ends quickly. Her legs straighten. She gives Cuna a queer look with a scrunch her nose, and adds; "Well now, isn't life just full of surprises? I mean no, it's not after all, is it? Who would have seen a person like you coming?"

Then yet again Fanny changes. Her white lab coat appears to be ruffled by a non-existent wind as all expression runs from her face, and like that she just stands there, staring at Cuna as if she were viewing an old and boring memory.

@Scorpionius

Fanny steps down on Malcolm's brake before he enters the Terrestrial bay.

"Malcolm, please...." She releases a small and exasperated laugh. "We both know you're an exemplary machine and keep yourself maintained well enough, so don't humor me. Do I really need to spell it out for you, sweetie?"

She bites her lip while she thinks on the matter for a moment. She didn't want to insult him in her effort to offer the changes she had in mind.

"Take another look at that Quantum Bay." She tells him gently. "Haven't you ever dreamt of flying, travelling through space, jumping through dimensions with the ease of just a thought? That's why I brought you here, Malcolm, I'm offering you the chance to do all that." She takes a little breath and gives his dashboard a little pat before continuing;

"Don't you worry, I know you're more than just another run-of-the-mill AI. You have a soul… I can see that. So just tell those geeky boys to be careful not to expose you to lengthy contact with machinery. As cool as it might sound," She laughs, "we don't want all the machines in this place coming alive, do we? And don't worry about anything else either. You'll still be the same Malcolm when they're done with you. You’ll still feel the same, you’ll still look the same, at least from the outside anyway. You'll still be the same old Malcolm."

She waits a moment to let Malcolm consider the proposal before lifting her foot from the brake, and saying; "The choice is yours though, you shouldn't do anything you don't want to. But just so you know, I'm really looking forward to our adventure together. I've been waiting for this so long...."

Meta's distress signal is actually received by Ernest's communication systems a moment before Fanny initiates Hyper-Drive. It was an instant too late, however, and once Ernest had entered Hyper-Drive the signal was cut off. Less than a second later, Ernest falls out of Hyper-Drive and arrives within docking range of the MASGC Headquarters.

For a moment, Fanny stares out at the massive space station in a distant kind of way, as if maybe she was caught in a moment of daydream. She then snaps clear of her thoughts and looks around at Ernest.

"I wouldn't worry too much about that." She tells him, "I think your inability to communicate properly is adorable. But if you really need to improve your introductions, then how about starting with something simple, like; 'This is the Ernest'? By the way, The Ernest, did you by any chance take note of that distress signal the moment before we entered Hyper-Drive?"

She starts tapping into the terminal controls, scanning all space within range to find the source of the distress signal. It would have been more than possible, at least from Ernest's point of view, that some other vessel was in danger of Hany's Ribbon and in needed assistance.

"Now, how about you let the Commander know we've arrived, then go ahead and do all that docking stuff with them. While you’re doing that I'll search for the source of that distress signal." She pauses a moment, puckering her lips in a cheeky fashion. "I mean... if that's okay with you, of course?"

While Fanny was previously standing as if in a daydream on board the Ernest, a small, sleek one-man craft materialized in front of Meta's ship. This craft just so happens to look identical to the one that Fanny was in at the time Ernest rescued her, the same one that mysteriously disappeared once Fanny was safely aboard the the Ernest.

Had Meta still been looking out into the empty void space, the craft would have materialized close enough to be viewed by the naked eye. Upon its appearance, Meta's distress signal was suppressed, as though an unknown force was inhibiting its dispersion field. A moment later, Meta's ship receives an audio hail. It's a young, smooth and lustrous feminine voice, which, under different circumstances, may have very well been interpreted as the call from a prostitute looking to coax her next trick for the night:

"I'm Jezebel.... I see you're in a spot of trouble, but you have no need to worry at all now. It will be my deep pleasure to set your concerns at ease."

One of Rorod's numerous attempts to communicate with the large torpedo-shape vessel proves successful. Within the first minute of sending his message he receives a reply from what sounds like an automated, robotic voice:

“We are the Forte. The heck. Man. Your vessel has been seized. Your leader – leaders - have been seized. All that you are is ours. Your leader is our treasure. Do not resist. Your on-board units will be made to service The Forte. Requested response complete.”

Despite Ramrod’s lack of belief that he would be understood or even replied to, he does in fact receive a reply from the same thunderous voice, only this time in Ramrods own dialect and repeating the same words as before:

“Mroah-mroah mroah. Mroah, Mroah Mroah Mroah. Mroah, Mroah-Mroah. Mroah mroah mroah mroah.” (You are a unique life form. You have been added to our treasure. You are ours. You R-core units will be made to service our civilization.)

As the unseen entity stops speaking, the view screen on the wall comes to life. It displays a live feed of Rorod on board Rodia as he frantically converses with The Forte via the coms systems.

“Mroah Mroah.” The voice continues; “Mroah mroah mroah, mroah. Mroah mroah, mroah. Mroah, mroah-Mroah. Mroah, Mroah Mroah mroah. Mroah mroah-mroah mroah. Mroah mroah mroah.” (This is your R-core unit. I will open a communication link to his current station. You will tell him that you are happy and unharmed. You will tell him to comply with us. You will instruct him not to resist. You will tell him you want this to happen.)

After a moment of silence, the voice returns, louder and more commanding than ever; stating: “Mroah, Mroah mroah. Mroah, mroahhh mroah!” (A channel is now open. Speak or we will destroy them!)

Damien was about to open his mouth when the apocalypse arrived. Damien immediately rose to his feet, knocking the chair over. He watched as people's flesh blistered and their blood boiled from the sheer overwhelming heat that was washing over the planet. Damien whipped to the fissure in front of him and shook his head at Fanny's question. Time was running out and fast. Damien felt the temperature rise around him, and while Damien might've had a minute or two extra to make a portal, Fanny did not have that kind of time. At the final moment, Damien tackled Fanny through the portal, forcing her to come with him into the unknown.

@Hokum@CmdrAlfieq and @Metatrooper? Not sure if I need to @ you, but I will to be safe.
As Ernest
"Yes, I heard the distress signal. Not much I can do about it, though. You can search all you want, though. I'll communicate with the MASGC.... or whatever that achronim is."

Ernest opens the communication. "This is The Ernest, we have landed near your base, and will be docking in your station. I'd recommend you have a dock ready for us."

Terminal:
TELEPORT SUCCESSFUL.
LOCATION OF DISTRESS SIGNAL CAN NOT BE CONFIRMED.

WAITING FOR USER FANNY MAY TO SCAN FOR DISRESS SIGNAL....

@Hokum
As Rodia
Rorod responds to the Forte: "Wait, let me get this straight, you want to just waltz in here, kidnap our leader, and enslave us? And you think we are going to be fine with that?! No way, 'Forte'! We won't be enslaved so easily!"

Rorod turned to Lars, about to order that they assemble what they have of an army, when suddenly, another com opens up.

As Ramrod and Rodia

Ramrod chimes in "Mraoh! Mraoh Mraoh mraoh!" (Wait! Don't attack yet!)

Rorod: "Ramrod?! Is that you?! Are- Are you safe?"

Ramrod: "Mraoh, Mraoh mraoh mraoh Mraoh." (Yes, for now. But these alien things can apparently speak Mraoh."

Rorod: "Really?! How is that possible? Even I can't speak Mraoh, and I was built to translate it!"

Ramrod: "Mroah mraoh... mraoh mraoh mraoh!" (Beats me... but I think they are threatening to destroy you if you don't surredner!)

Rorod: "No way! I won't let them enslave us, or destroy us!"

With that, Rorod cuts the communication

As Rodia: Rorod gives the command to start getting ready for battle. "We will not be enslaved! Even if they destroy us, we won't go down without a fight."

Nerves R-Cores get ready for combat. The R-Core may not have a very large army propper, but most every ship is armed to some extent. Some Soldiers hope into large, sphere-shaped gunships that they refuse to as "Rodian Armoured Gunships", which are the backbone of the Rodia's army. Less trained Militia are getting their private vehicles ready for combat.

At this point, the R-Core have basically declared war.

As Ramrod

Ramrod is kinda angry. But then he realizes something. His captors (which, unlike Roida, he doesn't know the name of) said they would basically enslave the R-Core, and then threatened to destroy them.

"Mraoh mraoh, mraoh?" (wait, you people want to use the R-Core as your workforce, right?) Ramrod asked, "Mraoh mra-oh mraoh?" (So why would you threaten to destroy your workforce?"

Ramrod's tone is angry, but genuine. While he is suspicious, he is not asking a metaphorical question. He is, however, trying to climb up the side of his cell, trying to get a closer look and the screen.

-Donny got hit a second time, this one dead-on in the center mass. He fell to a knee, about to topple as his muscles seized up. His 3A vest hadn't provided any insulation against the high tech weapon! Donny couldn't even force himself to grab for any other tricks at that moment. A new kind of pain then struck him in the back. That goofy leader of theirs. He'd come more quickly than Donny had thought he would. The damn woman and her screaming had surely brought him. Donny clutched his arms across his waist, gasped loudly, then threw out his hands and pitched onto his side, gagging on the blood rising from a ruptured lung. His guns were nowhere to be seen, but his hands looked empty at least. Donny had weighed his options at that moment. Might he have silently unpinned a grenade to leave behind when he was teleported? Perhaps a small, black ring might have appeared on his right thumb after he threw out his hands, and with the weight of his fall the lethal nanowire cast into the air would take someone's head along with it.

But Donny's inner survivor was quick to point out the stupidity of such a thing. This was the fleet admiral and he was the only one not wearing a protective suit. If only he died, the survivors would likely refuse him treatment, and he'd just be beamed right the fuck back down to this barren scrap of dirt and wind. It wasn't worth the risk of being shot either, and Donny knew not precisely when he'd be teleported.
Donny stared back at Dino, hands empty, no rings or pins or knives in sight. Only... A cigarette. It'd appeared from between two fingers, a magic trick. He'd pull his gas mask off and toss it to the side, using his last breath on this planet to finally say something true.-

"Not Buzz. *Cough*. Name's Fahst-Dahgree Donneh. Come bah an' see meh sometime."

-He poked the cigarette into the corner of his mouth, and gave the Cap'n a pained little parting wave accompanied by a disarming wince.-

Metatrooper Capturing a command post for the Republic

The terminal then started beeping loudly, indicating that it had received a message. He leaned forward and opened the coms channel as the message played. He sighed a breath of relief, thankful that someone had received it and was coming to help him, although the voice did seem quite unsettling to him.

He got up and walked to one of the viewports of the ship. Peering out, he saw a sleek black starfighter moving towards the Tempest. Meta then went back to a console and sent a message to the ship.

Meta: This is the Tempest, your message has been received. Will begin preparations for docking now.

Using what was left of the ship's engine power, he stabilized the Tempest to prevent it from drifting and waited for the other ship to move in and dock.
Although this ship had come to his rescue, its design and the voice that accompanied it did make him think that this could be a trap. He checked his sidearm, making sure that it was ready for combat before waiting again for the Jezebel's next move.

As a spaceship approaches near the MASGC space headquarters, another message came from the Command Section A but it was signaled by an automated AI for handling most of the station's information and distributing space traffic from going in and out of the MASGC space headquarters. It's encrypted in communication:

Gillian opens the door to an elderly man, though his age can only be determined by the bronzed and seasoned condition of his face. Though he exhibits no facial growth, his hair is not grayed, it is thick, black and unkempt like his brow line. He is approximately six feet tall, wears brown leather sandals, and is otherwise attired in a hessian, full-length robe tied about the waist with horsehair rope. He has a slightly hunched posture and leans much of his weight upon the hilt of a black obsidian staff.

While Gillian is no doubt feeling the grim effects of his presence, the old man’s dark, doleful eyes focus on Gillian in an initial moment of scrutinizing silence. He does not speak. The silence is ended when the old man lifts his staff and sharply jabs Gillian’s foot. The force of the jab would not be enough to break any bones, but would undoubtedly cause her considerable pain.

Perhaps the old man would like to be invited in….
