Kinda the point of her. She's supposed to care about people she thinks are good people, help them out, even in face of that she fears the most. Her comedy is her way of keeping things from being to negative, because in her warped mind, if she keeps everything at least a little happy, she won't turn into one of her kin(psychotic, power hungry, domineering, jealous, and evil).

Yeah I can understand the confusion if you haven't been here lol

So basically, my chick Evelyn is a mercenary that showed up not long after a job. She and Clay kinda hit it off, and then all hell kinda breaks loose. People come after Evelyn resulting in one hell of a retaliation. There a a psychotic bot involved, a blob woman that can heal and increase speed a nd strength and such when she latches onto her host, a man that can call upon animal abilities and Clay is a werewolf.

So, all of the people and hunting dogs and such that they all took down, just melted and exploded and they're all kinda out of commission at the moment.

The whole melting thing will make more sense if you read the last several posts lol

@ineffable last scene is over.
There was an attack on the tavern but it’s gone now.

Tavern is a bit of a mess, bullet holes and debris.

If you like you can either wait a post or two and things will be back to normal or you can come across the current scene.

An exploded wreck of an aircraft in the field. Sal laying in the dirt not too far away. An injured ‘naked’ Clayton carrying two women (one a slime creature) towards the tavern that has smoke rising from it and a small fire starting within.
As far as the enemies, they all conveniently melt/decay away. Can mention or ignore that one.
