Location: Grimm, Indiana, Outside of Grimm Asylum
Skills: N/A

Riley looked towards Alicia for a moment when she talked back towards Pyria she still wasn't sure what the hell was even going on in the first place. Sighing more to herself as she started to follow Cecily over as Alicia started to gather the supplies, watching Cecily making a makeshift bomb. She was pretty surprised she even knew how to make one in the first place as well, she could hear Russian speaking going on from inside of the building as well. She didn't even understand Russian at all either, and Riley had no clue why people would still be even inside of the building. "When did you learn how to make bombs?" Riley asked Cecily looking over at her for a moment and smiled slightly.

Riley then turned her attention towards the hole in the wall of the asylum, seeing tendrils coming out of it really did remind her of the Mind Flayer from Stranger Things. Riley reached for her handgun just in case something did end up coming out, she really didn't like to use guns, even when she had learned how to properly handle a gun thanks to Roy. As well as killing her former classmate turned psychotic serial killer. It seemed like everyone else was just getting ready to fight rather than run, and she really did want to just try and run away as soon as possible as well.

So the dice thing was glowing too, so it was 99.99% the cause of her hands glowing. And her tits were glowing too, which meant that it didn't just make whatever it touch glow. Unfortunately that still didn't answer any of the other questions she have or tell her really much of anything else. Now all she could do was assume that it, (and by extension Juno) the haze and the blood mists were all interconnected now. How? She had no fucking clue, and frankly now that she was connected by the fact that her hands were glowing only compounded on the anxiety of the last hour or so.

"I don't know!" Mali cried out, nearly in tears in response to Adelaide. It was all sop frustrating and bullshit. What had she deserve to be stuck in a situation like this, surrounded by supernatural horror movie bullshit that was just getting worse by the second? Mali grasped the little polyhedron as tightly as she could, knuckles showing white even through her darkened skin. Her teenage anger management counselling wasn't enough to keep back the intense frustration of the helplessness of it all, and at that moment the only way thing she had to direct it was the little relic in her hand.

Mali directed all her rage into the little bone carved curio, and threw it into the ground, yelling in distress as she did so. In the back of her head, the rational part of her brain hoped that removing contact from it would stop the glowing, but wasn't too hopeful about it. Even so, it also remembered that she promised to herself that she'd need to retrieve it anyways and this little fit wouldn't actually resolve anything. Still, it felt good to let herself be angry for once, and perhaps this would be enough for her to calm down and get some clarity on just what was going on.

Yes, she was clearly in the wrong in this situation. Deciding that bombs are not the answer to most situations, crazy or not, that having more help would be a benefit, and that this was clearly fucking nuts. Yep, she was the insane one out of them all. Even Riley seemed to take this all in stride. Was she insane? Had she finally succumbed to all she had seen? She may as well have as she saw dark tendrils spread around the building. She wasnā€™t against destroying whatever this was, but then it remained why it was chasing them. Why was it at the asylum? Why was she hearing Russian? Who the fuck was Shrody?!?

She carried the equipment handed off to her and was now on Team Blow It The Hell Up. She waited while the coroner bomb expert did her thing. She knew this was out of her wheelhouse, but she damn sure was expecting answers to the millions of questions she had. ā€This thingā€¦what is it and where did it come from? This all started with a murder investigation and now I am here staring at someā€¦thing that is destroying this building. Iā€™d like to think Iā€™m fairly normal and I am holding it together as best I can, so bear with me if I donā€™t immediately accept all of this as reality just yet. Just blow it the fuck up already!ā€

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Poor Robert, he really wants to get away from Zoie. Well the remains of Zoie and can one hardly blame him. Not every day you see someone drawn and quartered, or would that be quintupleted? Seeing as the head was ripped away as well? Anyways, he is having trouble, stumbling over his feet to get away. He is managing to get around the corner of the building as the creature takes notice of him.

Adelaide looked at Mali shocked. The woman didn't seem the type to freak out but hey if her hands were glowing she would probably freak the fuck out as well. She knew she freaking out as Robert came back around the corner and there was some large shadowy beast coming into view. She screamed. Now, the whole dice rolling thing? That was probably the best idea in a while. Or maybe it was the worst. No one knows for sure right now but as Mali chucks the thing she gives it as hell of a throw and the thing spins in the air. The beast coming around the corner stop as it seems to catch a glimpse of it. The dice is spinning in the air and glowing more, it seems to be targeting the beast and the Destruere turns and starts to run away. It doesn't seem to want to get hit by the item but it doesn't look like it is going to out run it.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Outside): Now, there was a lot going on right then. Mostly concerned with the fact there was a large shadow like beast ripping out the side wall of an Asylum and trying to get to them. So, that was where her focus was. She had tried to tell the Indian looking woman that now wasn't the time to talk. It was a time for action. Sure, people had questions but if your curiosity for such things over road your common sense you ended up dead. Though Alicia could remember a time when she used to demand answers. That was before she met Evelina. It ticked her off to no end that Evelina wouldn't answer most questions. Now she understood why. There was a time and place for everything. Questions could wait until after shit was done hitting the fan. Right then, wanting to know how someone could do something or what something was could wait until what Alicia called a Destruere wasn't ripping down a building. Be like trying to ask a serial killer why they were strangling you. You didn't ask why, you tried to stop it and then maybe, once he was cuffed you got to the why.

Caesar and Keystone would be hitting the mark on the Destruere and while it was seeming to cause some damage - parts where the Destruere was hit were lighter, it didn't seem to be stopping the thing. It screamed out and seemed to get madder, if shadows could look angry, they did.

"Dead voices! Don't listen!" she yelled. She knew those voices. So yeah, Alicia wasn't even bothering to stop and consider there might be others inside. Her eyes were on the Destruere while she took the bomb from Cecily. "Duck and cover fuckers!" Alicia yelled as she planted her feet firmly on the ground. Oh yeah, that was what people should have been worried about. Finding cover when a walking dead chic was about to chuck a bomb at a building. Grabbing Cecily, Roy took Alicia's advice and ducked her down behind one of the vehicles.

"Yeah, you might want to hide Riley," a voice crawled into the scene as a man stepped out of the shadows in the tree line and started walking towards Riley. "I would hate to see a class mate killed, wouldn't you?" he asked as he tilted his head to the side and eyed her. Those on the scene didn't know this man personally, but Riley did. Riley knew him, she went to school with him. She pulled the trigger that killed him. Chris Malony. (Due to the high stress of the situation, those in law enforcement and security would have to make a roll in chat and score a 15+ to remember he was the serial killer from the year before.)

Alicia still wasn't paying attention. She had one job and one job alone to do. And the thing was, she didn't even bother lighting it. "No need, it's hellfire. It will light it," she said as she took a deep breath. Getting a good grip on it, Alicia took a deep breath and chucked it. (I think LLA likes bombs because not only did Cecily get a Nat 20 on making a bomb, Alicia scored a Nat 20 on throwing it.) The thing soared through the air, like a fast soft ball pitch and barreled into the chest area of the Destruere. The bombs force just hitting the creature sent it back into the building. Turning she sprinted and ducked behind a car. There was a deafening scream before a blast could be heard, like through a vacuum. What happened next? You'll see next update.

Robert Adler

Location: Grimm, Indiana. (Tinder House)

A single line of thought was running through Robert's mind just as desperatly as Robert himself was running; He needed to get away. Now. Even if he'd wanted to know just what the Hell the infernal creature behind him was, and even if he'd been able to actually comprehend its very existence without questioning everything about the world and his own sanity, he'd still want to get as far away as possible from the shadow monster. He didn't want to end up like Zoie just had, like a hot-dog brutalized by a stupidly drunkard in the middle of the night. Too bad Robert was having all the finesse of said drunkard, as he struggled to make good on the distance he wanted to flee. All he managed to do was to get around the corner of a building, just in time to catch the sight of the monster behind him noticing him.

"Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckā€¦" Robert cursed under his breath, heaving for air with all his might as he tried not to reproduce Adelaide's scream. He didn't blame her, he too would rather not die. For all his talk of being bored of it all, he was by no means ready to die. Robert was about to shout something about them needing to get the fuck out of the monster's way, when he noticed what Mali had thrown. Or more importantly to their current situation, what it was causing to the monster. It wasā€¦running away? From the little blue thing? Robert couldn't see what it was, only that it glowed. Robert looked at the monster running away, before he turned around and began making his way back to Adelaide and Mali. "Zoie's gone, that thing got her! I don't know what the fuck is going on right now in this town, but we can't stay here!" Robert was not hiding his fright right now as he still clung tightly to his pistol, looking over his shoulder ever so often. He didn't care how much he would get payed for this, he wasn't sticking around to be the dessert of a shadow monster!

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Outside of El Asilo/The Nuthouse!)
Skills: Shotgun
Skills: Pistol

Keystone wasn't the type to suffer fools, even if he was the one being foolish. Naturally, he didn't think that he was being particularly foolish, preferring as he did the concept of removing himself from this place and going elsewhere. I mean, there were noncombatants to think about, not to mention that there was a THING FROM A HENTAI HORROR MOVIE coming after them all. That might have been enough for most people, general principle alone. Now, Keystone was no coward. He'd proven this on many occasions. This was just throwing him for a loop, as was the mostly calm civility that most everyone was showing to one another, like the aristocracy from way back in the day sharing cucumber sandwiches and sipping tea while placing wagers while their armies of peasants killed one another. From a safe distance, of course.

Come to think of it, the big guy really could go for a decent plate of cucumber sandwiches. With curried mayonnaise. Maybe a couple with sundried tomatoes for a little extra oomph. But no, he was holding a 50 caliber hand cannon on an Eldritch Horror, hoping that the damn thing was going to listen to reason. And by "reason" he meant "hastily delivered ammunition". And by "delivered" he meant "Fuck all I'm gonna shoot this bastich".

Just before he pulled the trigger, an astute listener might have heard him rationalizing the situation and focusing on something to get mad about simultaneously by inquiring out loud, "Bloody 'ell's my cucumber sandwiches, right?" Any possible response might have been drowned out by the bark of his pistol.

Meanwhile Caesar had very little in the way of misgivings or concern for his own life, quite possibly, but like his more burly compatriot, he did wish to attend to the lives of others. His manner of doing that was a little different than Keystone's. While the younger man would have preferred discretion and controlling the circumstances of their encounter, Caesar favored the messier, if more direct route. He gave a glance toward Priya, advising her "You talk too much," with a growl before emptying the chamber of his shotgun into the beast above.

Any further attempt at conversation on his part was stymied by a further piece of advice, this from the old man's daughter, to Duck and Cover. It was heeded by both men, as the dead chick hurled the improvised explosive like a champ into the hole, bowling over the hideous thing with a sense of slapsticky charm. Caesar risked a half second to appreciate the throw - he certainly couldn't have done it better, himself, before Keystone grabbed him and pulled him down behind the vehicle they were using as cover.

There was something about a really good explosion that brought people together just as much as it blew others apart.

"I majored in Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon," Cecily explained to Riley quickly. "Almost any chemical can explode if you try hard enough," she then added with a slight smile. So many of the labs she had to take involved looking up the SDS profiles of the chemicals they were working with and writing down buzz words about them - such as toxic, flammable, skin irritant, toxic to aquatic life... Of course, some of those SDS were rather extreme, saying that sand was going to kill you if you used it - but some of them were fairly accurate. That wasn't the only thing they learned - her organic chemistry professors liked to use the synthesis of different narcotics as examples for a multi-step synthesis and various ways to optimize procedures.

She heard Alicia's explanation of dead voices and assumed that she meant that whoever was in there, it was too late for them and they were basically dead anyways. Sure, Alicia had been dead - she had helped Natasha some with the autopsy - but she was figuring she might have faked her death or something... At any rate, Alicia was giving her major Doctor Strange vibes - probably aided by the shadowy monster and the fact that no one else knew what was going on. She didn't even have time to duck on her own before Roy had gotten her ducked down behind one of the cars. Alicia's mention of hellfire only strengthened the Doctor Strange image - or maybe she was more like Magik?

Cecily put her hands on her ears as the bomb went off, hearing the scream first and moving her trembling hands to her ears when the blast happened. "...Are we dead?" Cecily asked Roy, her voice shaking.

Riley looked towards Cecily for a moment and nodded slightly her roommate did work with a lot of chemicals it seems as she watched Alicia taking the homemade bomb and chucked it at the fake Mind Flayer lookalike at him. She quickly ducked behind the car just as it ended up exploding. She slowly poked her head up Riley then paused as she could feel her skin starting to crawl slowly turning her attention over towards the tree line. And noticed that it was none other than Chris Malony, she quickly stumbled backwards and quickly drew out the handgun that she had on her. Riley really wished that this part of her life was buried as far as possible, she really didn't think she would even see Chris anymore. She had seriously put Grimm as far away from her away and out of her life but it all seems to be coming back to haunt her again.

"Your ass should be fucking dead I killed you a mother fucking year ago!" Riley snapped she had a feeling that he would end up killing her this time. As she quickly pulled the trigger now this time, the last time she used a gun was to kill him firing off five rounds aimed at Chris. Feeling her hands shaking slightly looking over at the others, she was really hoping that she was just seeing things and none of this was real at all just a crazy ass dream right now. Riley looked over at Roy and Cecily for a moment with a really scared look. "Can we please get the fucking hell out of here now?" Riley asked hoping that they killed the monster already.

As soon as the die left Mali's hand, she regretted it. That thing was an ancient, valuable artifact. What the hell was she thinking throwing it? What if it broke? Or she lost it somewhere? Even if turned out to be the source of all this mystical bullshit, she still couldn't leave it around for Juno to find. That still didn't change how upset she was over everything that had occurred, but she just felt even worse because she worried that she might have made things even worse.

At least that's how she felt until she saw the die fly through the air as if it had a mind of its own chasing after... What the hell was that mass of black? Her mind auto-completed it to being the true source of the horror movie shit going on. Kind of like the monsters in The Mist except not at all. Having at least some concrete bit of information helped stabilize the world a bit, giving her ground to work with. That was until Robert told her that Zoie was dead, killed by that thing.

A small part of Mali wasn't shocked that this happened. She saw Zoie run off alone, which was a death sentence in slasher films. And yet, it was so sudden. An hour ago she never would have thought Zoie would be killed before nightfall, least of all not by a shadowy lovecraft monstrosity. But if anything, the adrenaline running through her body was enough to keep the full gravity of the situation from hitting her, which was enough. Furthermore, it was running from the die, which was glowing. Her hands were still glowing too. Did that mean? Mali ran to the front of the house to the window to see what exactly would happen next.

Priya couldnā€™t help but hold up a middle finger to the old, gruff, Hispanic man. ā€You donā€™t talk enough, asshole. This shit might be in your wheelhouse, but pardon me if it ainā€™t in mine.ā€ That being said, at least she felt she was holding it together as best she could, even though every part of her wanted forget this day ever happened, return to New York where shit was less crazy, and let bygones be bygones. But she knew that would not be the case. Not after everything she saw. The creature attacking, the noises, the haze. It was all connected, surely. And Alicia seemed to know why.

The bomb did the trick apparently as the beast was blown back into the building. She doubted it was dead, but at least it was wounded and could be hurt. She turned to get the hell away now and a voice came from nearby. A man she could not recognize, though she seemed to know Riley. And Riley knew him, judging by her apparent panic and the fact she waved a gun in his face. Before Priya could react, Riley shot off.

Priya jumped into action now, quickly grabbing Riley and putting her arm down. ā€Come on, we are leaving now! He can be dealt with later.ā€ Probably not, but either way, Riley reacting like that threw Priya a bit. The quicker they got out of there, the better. Priya kept an arm around Riley, getting her to the car. The other hand near her weapon, in case Chris wasnā€™t through with them.

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): The town of Grimm as long and rich history of things that have happened within it's borders. Most of it has been covered up, shrouded in secrets. It may seem odd but it isn't difficult in a small town. As much as everyone knows everyone, each generation is very good at covering up what happened. That was until more modern times. It wasn't exactly easy to cover up a serial killer in small town USA. But they have covered up plenty. So, as the world became hazy, it was fucked but it seemed almost normal. At least to one resident. Adelaide watched the shit going down and found herself chuckling. "Gods wiping this shit hole off the map," she chuckled. It seemed almost poetic considering everything that had happened in this town.

And she was almost fine with it, but there were parts of her that didn't like it. She had had some wonderful memories in her hometown. The biggest part she didn't like was when she looked at her hands and saw that her fingers were starting to fade away. "No, no no, what the hell," she stammered as she started to freak out. She didn't want to fade away, whatever the hell that meant. She had children, she had a husband.

Now, while Adelaide was dealing with fading away and she would be gone within moments, something else was happening. A dice was glowing and flying through the air at a monster that had just ripped a southern bell apart like she was a gingerbread woman. It wasn't pretty but thankfully the remains were a bit far off now in the distance. The dice that Mali threw seemed to have a mind of its own and it collided with the beast like a bullet, ripping through it and causing the creature to tumble to the ground. The dice seemed to hit trees, cars, trashcans, ricocheting off of them and changing direction, going back and ripping through it again. It was like it knew how to hit the creature and not to stop. Each time it ripped through it left a hole in the being that wouldn't reform.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Outside): 3... The sound of a bomb starting to go off, like it was a in a deep well. 2... The sound of it expanding, a scream ripping through something dark, like a cry out of a nightmare. 1... A blast, ripping from the building and the reason Alicia screamed to duck and cover becoming evident as the building exploded from the inside out. Pieces of the building blasting out, a cloud of debris and fog and dust billowing out like a storm rolling over the place and covering everything in its wake. Alicia ignored everything else around her as she covered her head and kept low. "Fucking hell..." she muttered under her breath. That bomb had a hell of a kick. Bombs usually did but this one seemed to pack extra punch. Whoever this fucking girl was knew her way around chemicals, Alicia had to give her that.

Now, as that shit storm was happening and Riley was trying to shoot Chris, and Priya was trying to get Riley out of there, and they all were going to have to dodge parts of a building being blown up. (It's 9/11 all over again in down town Grimm people, so yeah, coughing, dodging pieces of building, not being able to see, they are all part of this. Roll in chat, 15 or higher to get out without getting hit by something large enough to hurt. Only Nat 20 won't get struck by anything. 10-14 will get hit by small things and get cut up. 5-9 will get hit by medium things and have to hit the ground, 2-4 will get by something large and be pinned down. 1 you will have to contact me to see if the debris killed you.)

Alicia picks her head up to look and gets knocked in the head by something, part of the building, what part no one knows as it flies off into the dust cloud. She falls back and hits the ground but while she lifts her hand to check herself she finds she is fading away. "Fucking hell, again?!?! MAKE UP YOUR FUCKING MIND MUERTE!" she yells looking up into the sky, it's covered by dust but she is still looking up. Roy also gets hit and lands on the ground, reaching down to touch his leg but his hand goes right through it as it starts to fade away. As Riley takes the shot, she can't tell where the bullet went but she is pretty sure it didn't hit him as he keeps walking. That is until he notices he as well is fading. Keystone as well as Priya are beginning to fade. All of them are fading and quickly.

*Both Groups: Because of the yelling and the noise, no voices are heard this round. It doesn't mean there aren't any but you just can't hear them.

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Outside of El Asilo/The Nuthouse!)

Skills: N/A

Some things were best left ignored, lest they escalate beyond a level of response appropriate to a greater issue. Retributive as he could be, somehow the budding argument seemed far less important to Caesar than the giant, shadowy monster ripping the building apart from the inside trying to kill them all, his daughter coming back from the dead, and the massive improvised explosive that may or may not inflict even more damage to their immediate surroundings (and the insistence that it was the only thing capable of destroying the giant, shadowy monster). Did I mention a giant shadowy monster? Totally a giant, shadowy monster, doing giant, monstrous things. Oh, and the ancient international organization that may or may not be behind everything that had made his life suck as of recently. Yeah. Deal with the insult later, if at all. More important things at the moment.

He didn't notice any more voices, or anyone dusting away into nothingness. Most of what happened was cleared away by the sound of an unstable stack of dirty and highly impure chemicals in the proper proportions doing what they do best, in the form of a very impressive exothermic reaction. It was a beauty, too.

Meanwhile, Keystone was gearing up to feel like a dick. Not so much because of what he did, pulling his boss down behind cover. It was the right thing to do. But the fact that even though he did do the right thing, it didn't stop a shaggy piece of random construction material from nigh bisecting the vehicle they were hiding behind. It left Keystone pretty much unscathed, but ripped the backdoor fully away and dragged Caesar along with it. "Boss!" yelled Keystone after him, basically powerless to do anything to help him. He couldn't even hold on. One thing he prided himself on was his punishing physical prowess, yet he could not keep a grip on the older Mexican.

Caesar wasn't sure on the total amount of detail going on just then. Again, more pressing issues. This particular issue had to do with a chunk of the asylum laying on top of a car door, which was partially laying on him, pinning him to the ground. Yet, as the dust swirled about his horizontal, pain-stricken form, all he could do was laugh. It was a little unsettling, really. But he was laughing a hoarse, guttural series of chortles and guffaws. This, this was something. Caesar had gone up against cartels, third-world dictators, criminal kinpins, government agencies, and corrupt law enforcement officers; yet now it looked like the person most responsible for the closest he'd been to death (and the jury was still out on whether he'd get out of it this time) was a 140 lb. twenty-something slip of a girl with a head for science, unintentionally at that. And that, to Caesar, was goddamned hilarious.

Keystone, however... he saw what was happening to him. He had no idea what it was, but in that moment he wasn't thinking about himself. The large Brit looked to Alicia, who was likewise fading away. He still had a job to do. He was given that job by the old man who just got knocked silly and pinned under a piece of a building. See to Caesar's family. Now Keystone's family, and one by blood. No, this sure as hell wasn't fair. They had survived too much shit to get turned to supernatural dust for no reason whatsoever here and now.

If what Caesar said was true, a representative from the Catholic Church would be getting in contact with the young woman taking care of little Liam. She would know where to go, she would know who to speak to. But nothing was certain. Especially now as the family patriarch was pinned under rubble and both of the little guy's parents were blowing away in the wind, other known, reliable family half a continent away and strangers in their midst... Keystone reached a disintegrating hand out in Alicia's direction. His last thoughts weren't on his fate, nor hers. Just before he dispersed completely, he uttered, "Our son..." as if he had more to say. But he was gone.

Underneath the car door and slab of former wall, Caesar lay silent.

Cecily's eyes widened with all of the destruction unleashed from her bomb. Maybe she should have considered an alternate career to being a forensic tech - she could have easily gone into demolitions like this. But beyond that, she had heard Riley yelling about having already shot someone. She didn't know who she was talking about, certainly not the serial killer in Grimm right as he had died. She slowly raised her head, lucky enough to not get hit by anything major like the others and she let out a breathe Cecily hadn't been aware that she was holding in. Roy was right by her and he fell to the ground, hit by some projectile resulting from the explosion.

"Roy??" Cecily panicked, crouching down next to him. Her eyes were wide - his hand was missing. It wasn't like someone had chopped it off, there was no bloody wound, he was just gone. There was water in her eyes, probably from the smoke and debris in the air, and she gripped onto Roy's shoulders tightly. "Okay, just breathe, okay?" she said frantically, not really knowing how to help with this. Nothing she had ever seen before in her life could have prepared her for seeing Roy vanish in front of her eyes. "Stay with me, you can't go Roy, it's not allowed," she said, just talking and hoping that somehow it would stop. "You're freaking Wolverine..."

She bit her lip slightly. "Come on, you gotta hold on," she begged, her hands trembling with fear. He was the closest thing to a father she had - her real father was an emotionless, greedy, and coldhearted lawyer. Roy at least cared about her.

Robert Adler

Location: Grimm, Indiana. (Tinder House)

Robert didn't have the slighest clue of how and where they were going to vacate the premises. Too much chaos was erupting around him and his two unlikely companions in Grimm, and what was indeed happing was enough shit-fuckery than Robert was prepared to believe on a sober stomach. Geeze, after whatever this was happening, he really needed a strong drink. Robert looked back and forth over his shoulder, watching in awe as the die continued to fly after the Shadow Monster like a Bat out of Hell. "Just what on Earth is that die?" Robert attempted to question Mali, before he turned and realized she was booking it for the house. Why?

Asking her about that was not meant to be, as he swore he could hear something just as unsettling as the noises made by the monster; chuckling. Robert looked up to see Adelaide standing there and watching, chuckling to herself about God wiping the town the face of the Earth. "If he's so insistent on doing that, why don't we get the fuck out of dodge before we go flying off to oblivian as well!" Robert shouted at Adelaide, walking up to her as he continued to make sure the monster was running away from the die. The die, which began to hammer into the monster, would have been much joy to Robert, had he not taken more interest in what was happening to Adelaide.

She was fading away.

"Adelaideā€¦Adelaide!" Robert shouted again, this time not out of anger or spite, but in geniune fear of what was happing to his land-lady. Rushing over to her, he would attempt to grab her shoulder, arms, anything in what certainly must have been a vain attempt at keeping her here. "Jesus fucking Christ, what's happening to you? What do we do? Mali?" Soon she was gone, and Robert would stand there clutching his head with his free hand, the other still clutching the gun. They were in deep, deep shit, and Robert was scared. Real scared, and he had no idea what to do.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Outside of Grimm Asylum
Skills: N/A

Riley's hands were still shaking as she stared at the monster who was Chris, she wasn't sure why he was even her alive and kicking as she tried to fire off another shot. When she felt Pyria's hand on her and lowered her gun. Biting her bottom lip, but as she looked her shots didn't even hit at all. Riley was about to get herself into the car, only for a piece of debris from the explosion came and hit her in the side dropping her gun, causing her to groan out in pain as she held her side. Riley slowly tried to sit up, she wasn't sure how bad the injury was but Riley looked over towards Pyria as well as Chris.

She started to notice that they were starting to fade, like Thanos had suddenly did the snap and she wasn't even sure what she could do to help them. Riley then started to get worried about Cecily as well, slowly getting up Riley tried to make her way over towards her she noticed it was happening to Roy as well. "Whats happening?" Riley asked while looking over at Pyria as she tried to reach out for her as well, she wanted to try and help them from fading away but she didn't know what she could do to help at all either.

Mali Anson

Location: Tinder House
Skills: N/A

Mali stood in awe of what was happening in front of her. If she didn't know better, she would have sworn that she was dreaming right now. Zoie and her had never actually left the McDonald's drive thru; she'd just passed out. How nice it would have been for something so simple and clean to be the truth of the matter. Even in her wildest dreams she wouldn't have concocted a scenario like this.

But even beyond the catharsis of cutting loose and letting herself get really fucking angry for once. Or the satisfaction of avenging Zoie's murder, even unintentionally. Or just seeing something, anything go right right now. There was something mesmerizing about the way that the die was bouncing around blowing the fuck out of the mass of shadow's ass. It almost reminded her of one of those "satisfying" compilation videos, or an old school screensaver. She could just watch this die bounce around forever.

She was so transfixed, that she didn't even hear Robert has her about the die. Not that she would have been able to answer in any satisfactory manner anyways. The best she had were hypotheses. Nor did Mali notice Adelaide freaking out and dissolving away into nothing a couple of feet away from her. Perhaps it was for the best. Given how everything else had gone down over the past few hours, who knows how she might respond. All she could do now was watch things unfold around her.

Priya knew the explosion would be big. It had to be if whatever thing was trying to claw its way out would be stopped, what she hadnā€™t accounted for was the fact they were still fairly close to it. Soon, the explosion hit and it sent them flying back. She had held Riley and soon lost her grip of the girl. She felt a huge force hit her and she was sent to the ground. She opened her eyes in time to see it was a huge part of the building pinning her to the ground. It hurt, but she noticed something else odd.

She was vanishing. She could see herself going in and out. She looked around her to the others. Oddly enough, this was the least weird thing she had seen all day. She looked over to Riley. ā€Well, it seems I donā€™t have much time left before I either die from this piece of fucking rubble or I just vanish. Whatever happens, keep a level head. Donā€™t shoot first and ask question after. Look where that got you, kid. Youā€™re smart. Use that smart to stop whatever the hell is going on here.ā€

She closed her eyes. Ready to accept the next events. She at least hoped she would just vanish with no piece of building on top of her, but either way, she knew it would not be long now.

*You can call for a roll before you post or you can leave a roll request at the end of your post and your results will be placed in the next update. You are allowed to get a roll during your post and place another at the end of your post.

Special Note: That Haze will remain until further notice, so make sure you keep to it. ^_~

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): The dice keeps bouncing until the creature seems to fade away. As it fades away, so does the world around both Mali and Robert. There seems to be in a fade in from elsewhere. There is a man pinned under a door (Caesar) and a woman standing there looking panicked and worried (Riley). As they are fading in, so the world fades out. It is looking like a dry and sandy world with a haze in the sky and rock formations jutting up around in the distance. It feels like a barren wasteland. Thankfully it doesn't seem hot or cold, just there. The air is stagnate and odd, tingly as things shift.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Outside): Caesar has to be like the Kool-aide man, I swear. Checking his stats, making a roll, and a Nat 20 coming up - Caesar is waking this round and busting out from under that shit like a Mexican Possessed. I guess it shouldn't be surprising since we have seen the man make a door explode while carrying a bottle of tequila and wearing fuzzy bunny slippers.

Riley is left with Caesar and Cecily for now. Thing is, Cecily isn't holding on for much longer. She is starting to fade as well and quickly. She won't be around long. To Cecily it looks like Riley and Caesar are fading away before her eyes. It is all truly confusing. The world around her seems to be going to glass. Riley and Caesar are seeing something far different. They are seeing an older gentleman (Robert) and a rather built woman (Mali) fading in near them as the world starts to fade away. It is looking like a dry and sandy world with a haze in the sky and rock formations jutting up around in the distance. It feels like a barren wasteland. Thankfully it doesn't seem hot or cold, just there. The air is stagnate and odd, tingly as things shift.

*Both Groups: Those moving characters over to T.S. will be posting their next posts over there now. You are officially done with DtB and moved over to T.S. now. I will update the list now in T.S. for approved characters. Morose, just the bow out post for Cecily at this time, she is in the fade now and is fully faded just after the rest vanish. Where'd they go, she doesn't know, they're gone. O.o Cecily's will be the last post for DtB until we resume after the merge is over - somewhere down the line, lol.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Outside
Skills: N/A

Tears were clouding her vision slightly, but even then she could still see clearly that Roy was gone. Nothing she had learned in school could change what had happened to him - and for all of her comments about how this was just like a comic book, she didn't know if this could be reversed. Some people stayed dead in books and movies. Roy could easily be one of them. "No..." Cecily croaked out. This could have easily been the "permanence" associated with the Infinity Gauntlet storyline - or it could have reality of Avengers Disassembled... She just couldn't know and it only made the pain worse.

She turned her head as Riley asked what was happening. Priya faded away, just like Roy. It was just Riley and Caesar there with her - but then in a moment, it looked like they were fading before her eyes. Everything around her was... crystallizing? No, it was more like glass. Her hands in front of her were vanishing and she didn't know how much time she had. She needed more time to tell Riley the important things - things she hadn't even truthfully figured out for herself yet. She didn't know why she had no interest in being with Riley physically, yet at the same time snuggling with the woman made her heart flutter like only a comic book or a chemistry textbook had done before. "Riley... I-I lov-"

But Cecily was gone before she could finish that thought.
