Ardour is contemplating life and every decision that led him down this dungeon with these people.

He's also probably thinking of Stunning Striking the horse since it's headed his way. He could dodge, but then the cursed thing would disappear into the depths of the dungeon with a part of their supplies.

Would that be rolling an attack normally, or?

Aurix manages to avoid a small catastrophe by stepping in front of the horse and calming him down. Vodalus majestically falls on his ass.

A selection of Architend's pack lies scattered in the sand, but it should only take a few moments to get it all back together. It would of been a lot worse if Architend had spooked deeper into the dungeon. On closer inspection, it looks like Architend's sporting some bad bruises from blunting the weight of the Cleric's fall.

Vodalus' backpack is mostly unscathed, apart from one broken candle, snapped in half.

EDIT: Assumed Aurix would act first as she was origionally closest.

@kingeditor loved Vodalus' adventure btw xD

Looking forward to seeing how everyone reacts to Vodalus and Markus turning up~

Here's the current Map:



A quick overview:
Architend careered down in a frenzy towards the nearest perceived exit, which Atanese happened to be in direct line of. Aurix managed to step in and calm the beast before Atanese could give the creature a good hard stun. Some of Achitend's items have scattered in among the sand, but it won't take a few moments to scoop them up. Vodalus has been knocked prone onto his rotund caboose and has blessedly minimal injuries. Markus Flintbrook emerges from the shadows, displays his peaceful intentions, and gets ready to work with these clearly seasoned proffessionals. Lauk approaches the horse but seems to be riling up the calmed beast more then anything. Architend begins to stomp the ground in worry.


@Ellri I'm curious as to how Lauk is taking this series of events so far...

EDIT: Also, long time coming, I've added an Art & Reference section to the CS tab! Within which you can find the amazing art @Lauder@Vertigo and @Ellri have drawn so far <3

Hi everyone! Looking to move things along but I'm not sure the best way to do that. Does anyone have any ideas for that? Alternatively I'll start cooking something up deeper in the dungeon for the next DM post ;D

@kingeditor not so much ideas like crushing rocks or anything, but more how to move things along generally to progress things.

Alternatively if people are happy with the pace and want some more time to meet that's fine too :D

@kingeditorI wasn't sure if people wanted some time to react to Voldalus and Markus' entrance, but I think enough time has passed to allow for that :D

If no one is against it, I'll do a short group up post to push things along and get moving~

For position, Ardour would probably be in the front again, for the same reason as before. Reconnaissance! Now if only he could get one more level and get that Shadow Step...

I'll have him react to things in my next post, though it's mostly just him dying on the inside and wondering how he got stuck with this group of all people. |D
