LONDON.
FLOGGING MOLLY. 6:37 PM.

CONSTANZA
John smiled down at his beer like a proud father would do to his kid. His life is sad, he knows that, but at least he could still find small pleasures like this. From the other side of the bar, Deanna shoots a disapproving glance at his figure. They used to be friends, perhaps still are, Constanza is not sure anymore, he fucked things up with too many people to be able to count, so who knows.
"I swear to God, I don't know how I'm able to endure a full day working with you and Caron without a drink..." he was mumbling before taking a large gulp, the albino sitting not too far from him just rolled her eyes to what he said.
He said that but he enjoyed the company of his partner and the "Civilian Consultant" more than he would like to admit.
They weren't friends. Far from it actually, but Dorian is fun, and most of the time she gets Caron roped on her stunts to get even on John. Constanza would most likely die before letting anyone know, but he worries about the younger Agent, because Whirt was one incident of becoming the same train-wreck that Constanza is. That's for sure.
He looked around seeing some other agents coming inside the pub. Apparently, they weren't the only ones that thought it to be a good idea to take a break and relax after that damn case.
"I'm still not sure how you are the only one that got out without a single hair out of place." he complained looking the girl... young woman...? Sometimes it was hard to tell. He and Caron knew her for quite a long time, but when he would stop to think about it they didn't really know all that much about her.

CARON
"She hasn't done anything wrong," he said almost unintelligibly, still chewing a mouthful of chocolate chip cookies that Dorian brought. Usually, Deanna doesn't let people bring outside food in, but after tasting one of the cookies she made an exception ("Just this once!"). He swallowed the rest of his food and took another sip of the beer. It was good to relax after a long day of work, but it was even better when they could do that after a case was put to rest. "Well, except maybe getting stuck in this case. Willingly."
Caron followed John's eyes and waved at the other agents and Dr. Jules. It was nice seeing them outside of SEMA. "Dorian shouldn't have been there in the first place."

AT THE COLLEGE

JEMMA
She leaned back on her chair, a bit shocked by what she witnessed. Her eyes followed the girl leaving the classroom with tears in her eyes. It was not the first time someone had left Professor O'Callaghan's class with tears in her eyes, and most of the time Jemma feels happy she's never been a target of the young man's sadism. But he always seemed to be trying to make his students drop the course instead of making them excited about what they are studying.
She lowered her eyes back to her notebook and flipped to the last page writing something at the end of a large list. Do not ask him about whether vampires are good or not.

DORIAN

"...And then, the wereslut tried to.., Dorian was excitedly telling Deanna when the bartender interrupted her.
"The WHAT now?, the ginger old lady tried to ask without laughing but it was too freaking hard.
"The Wereslut. Half wolf half slut. As I was saying... She tried to kill me because I pointed that out. I mean... It wasn't a lie, technically... Theo started to laugh over the comms, and Care-bear was so freaking done with us that I thought he would've let me die, but after that, I thanked him with this amazing flan I made, so everything is fine again., she would probably continue talking about how Theo would be starting with a new class today and how she betted with Constanza that he would traumatize all of them before the end of the night, however, she was interrupted by Constanza and Caron talking about her, "Hey! I told you it was an accident! I had no idea that that place would be full of... What were they again? I'm not even sure.", she said dismissing the whole ordeal like it was just another day, "And I even remembered to bring you cookies! And they are your favourites." as if that was enough to absolve her for getting in trouble. Again, "And maybe I'm just lucky.", was her reply about not getting even a hair out of place while Constanza was sporting a (currently) purple eye and Caron some scratches.

THEODORE

"Well... If that wasn't eventful.", he sounded almost bored before turning to the remaining students. A part was new, most likely transfers, and some have been in his class for almost over a week., "Now that another stupid question is out of our way you guys have the next three chapters to finish, we will be discussing it on our next class, so be sure to read it so we won't have a repeat of today. I would hate to any more students leaving in tears because they can not handle my opinion on their intellect after basing their questions on teenager fiction.", it was hard to believe he really felt bad about making that girl cry when his face was so impassive. It was the face he had when he was done with students bullshit, "Now. Before you go. As I do from time to time, I will be choosing one of you as my assistant for the duration of this course. Think of this as a bridge between me and you. And also a filter so I don't have to deal with all of your shit...", that end was mumbled to himself low enough so no one else could've heard.
He looked around, seeing the fear on the students' faces. Theodore had that small evil smirk on his lips before his eyes falling on a girl that particularly seemed to be trying to disappear on her chair, "You. Jane... Jemma? I'm not sure, but you. Stay. The rest can go."
He never saw his student flee so fast before, no one even stayed to save their peer from a fate worse than death.

Jemma didn't dare lift her eyes from her notebook, she just quietly listened to the professor's words. He did have a point, it was a stupid question, and it sounded like the girl was living in a fairy tale and only was studying folklore because of the romanticism around it. But he didn't have to be rude and make her cry. She was on edge, her breathing was quick and shallow. Finally, they were getting out of there, finally! Until he made the announcement. She closed her eyes, bracing herself for the worst, but rooting for the best, not wanting to be the chosen one. When he said Jane, she opened her eyes in relief, but he quickly corrected himself and she felt the blood run from her face as Professor O'Callaghan stared at her.
Jemma looked around helplessly, hoping one of her classmates could save her from this evil fate, but alas no one could do anything. No one even looked at her, they just passed through her, eager to get out of his room.
The notebook made a low thump when she closed it and she looked back at the professor. "It's Jemma."

He looked at the girl, a raised eyebrow when she corrected him about her name. He knew she was familiar but wasn't exactly sure of from where he knew her. However, that wasn't the point.
"Well... Jemma. Starting from today you are my new assistant. You see, the last one... Well... He didn't last. If you get what I mean.", he's already too used to students giving up.
It's not that he totally hates his students, however, they live in a world where creatures that once were thought to be simple fiction are true, and the knowledge they get in these class could either save their lives or sentence it to and early end if one of his students thought themselves to know enough to deal with those creatures on their on just based on the few tidbits about the cryptids that can be found in books.
"So... First thing first: I need coffee. Do you know how to get to the teachers' lounge? Grab me some coffee and then come back here, I'll be waiting in my office." Theo pointed the door behind him at his right, "Try not to take too long.", he didn't give her much of a choice before getting his stuff and heading to said door.
His office was an utter mess.
Mismatched bookshelves filled the space full to brim with books, some looked new others too old to be safe to handle. The windowsill was also covered in books and some curious objects he collected over the years, The only picture in the whole room was on top of his desk, a young woman with black hair and eyes identicals to his, it was one of his sisters and he only kept the framed photo because she had threatened him otherwise. Other than that his office was... Cosy. Maybe it was the colour scheme, with rich dark reds and maroons, the dark wood furniture, or perhaps it was thanks to the sunset light filtering through the big windows.

The poor girl put her things in her backpack and stood from the chair, walking towards the teacher's desk. Theodore O'Callaghan was intimidating. He was someone you could tell not to fuck around with. And she honestly had no intention to. It was now a matter of survival and she was determined to make it out alive. She didn't even want to know what happened to the other assistant. She was too scared. He didn't wait for an answer when he asked if she knew where the teacher's lounge was, but she nodded her head anyway, and exited the room right after him.
It was maybe a five minute walk to the lounge, and she turned a few hallways before getting there. There were a couple of teachers in there but they didn't seem to care about her presence much. Staring at the empty coffee machine, she realized he didn't tell her how he took his coffee. So she made a new pot and checked her phone for a few minutes while it poured.
Do you remember that professor I told you about? The one that made that girl cry? Well, he made someone else cry today and chose me as his new assistant! I'm screwed!, she quickly typed a message to Caron.
After the coffee was done, she poured it in a disposable cup and placed a lid on top, putting a sleeve around the cup so she wouldn't get burned. She wasn't sure where his office was, so she timidly looked at the other professors.
"Um, excuse me? Do you know where Professor O'Callaghan's office is?"
The woman lifted her head from the paper she was reading and looked at the coffee cup. "Are you his new assistant?" Jemma nodded yes. "Oh, my poor child. I'm sorry."
Jemma didn't know what to say. She just looked at the woman while she offered her a condolent smile.

She took too long and she knew it, she didn't even want to imagine the things he'd do to her because of that. She would be murdered, for sure! She knocked on the door carefully before entering. "I'm sorry for the wait, there wasn't any coffee left in the lounge, I had to make a fresh pot."

Electric-blue eyes left the pages of the book he was browsing while making some notes in a random piece of paper to the girl standing there and talking to him, for a brief instant he wondered why she was there, his mind too gone in the book. "Yeah... Coffee girl.", he said smiling at the cup of coffee and reaching for it.
He drank a small gulp and stoped, appreciating the flavour. "You passed.", as if making a good cup of coffee was some sort of test, "Leave your bag... Whatever you want to leave and make yourself comfortable. We are going to stay here for a while. If I'm not wrong mine was the lest lecture your class would have today, right?", after all, he wouldn't make her late for other classes "As my assistant, you are responsible not only for making sure we always have coffee around but also helping me with research and some times grading. I just hate this bloody mountain of paperwork... Consumes most of the time I could be using to more meaningful things. Like this.", he said indicating a pile of boxes filled with the physical documents he has in his laptop.
He drank some more of her coffee, sighing in absolute bliss.
"I imagine you are familiar with the cryptid community.", Theo stated more than asked. It was hard to imagine someone nowadays that doesn't know at least a little bit or that haven't seen one before, "The research is on their history. Not just the mythological side, but their historical view of the world. Humans have their wars, inventions, philosophers and so goes on. So what to say that some cryptids aren't the same? We already know for a fact that the hematophagous cryptids known as vampires have their own social and cultural customs, the same goes for a lot of the Faes. However, there's still too much we don't know bout them or why they act and do some of the things they do. I'm not going too deep on their biology, that's not my field as you can imagine.", he said before looking at her face "Are you still with me? Do I need to go slower?", she's too quiet... Or did he already scared her?

The brunette lowered her eyes when he called her coffee girl. Maybe she shouldn't, but she took offense to that. But she was surprised when he said she passed, usually she gets a strong negative reaction to her coffe making skills. Not that she could understand why, to her she made the best coffee and she couldn't understand why people hated it.
Jemma was not anticipating spending the rest of the night in Professor O'Callaghan's office. She looked around for the first time, surprised that the office was actually so cozy. She did what he told her and took a sit in one of the armchairs, finding it comfortable. Not too soft, not too firm. Her backpack found a place out of the way on the floor, next to the chair. She turned back to the teacher, listening to what he was saying.
"Oh. I'm sorry. No, this speed is fine." She didn't notice she had been staring at the man. "It's just... This is my field. I majored in Behavioral Science first, and my research is about applying that knowledge to cryptids. So this is my territory. That's why I'm studying folklore now. I find it fascinating how they behave and act, especially sentient cryptids like hematophagous. May I ask why the interest in this?"

The surprise was clear to see in his eyes.
"What an interesting surprise, coffee girl. You know... I need to find a nickname for you...", that ending was said more to himself. He's awful with names, especially when taking into account the number of students he had, "If I just keep calling you coffee girl the other Professors will once again accuse me of bullying my students.", he said that as if he's an angel being falsely accused, "But back to your previous degree... Behavioural Science. Are there any papers you wrote in your field that I could read? You already became interesting, Ms... Pine? Prince? Price? God, I'm awful with names. There's too many to remember.", he was referring to students in general.
He got up and went to one of the various mismatched bookshelves taking a hardcover book and going back to where the coffee girl was seated, giving her the book, "This is where my research started. Your class is currently studying hematophagous. So perhaps you'll find this to be of help. I have... Let's say a friend. That's acquainted with some of the members of that community, and that friend helped me get some information and statements that you can find in this paper. Is far from everything about them, but enough to answer some questions about them from a sociological point of view. I'll be assigning that reading to you on top of what's already in your curriculum. I need you up to where I am at my current research. Any questions so far?"
He was trying to not scare her too much on her first day, night, as his assistant.
"Did you got any coffee for yourself?" he only remembered to ask after he finished his own. Maybe he should be a bit more mindful about others... Nah.
"You know... I notice that I hardly ever heard your voice during class. You don't ask questions or talk to your classmates. So now, I'll be the one asking you some of my own. What are your thoughts on the subject we are discussing in class?"

She was pleased to hear he would find another nickname for her as she did not want to be called "coffee girl". "With all due respect, you do bully your students, Professor O'Callaghan," her face turned red as she said that, but she figured if she was to survive this assistance business she would have to stand up for herself. "I can email you my research right now. I did focus a lot on vampires, but I also did some research on sucubus and other sentient cryptids." She took the book from his hands and started browsing it while listening. "No questions so far."
Her eyebrows raised in surprise. "No, I didn't. I wasn't expecting to spend any more time here, I was just going to go home." But she welcomed this. It was something she was passionate about, plus it kept her mind from wandering to dark places. "I'm usually quiet in class, but it doesn't mean I'm not listening. My view of vampires is that they're complex creatures that need further understanding still. There's something fascinating about how they lose their touch with reality and their humanity over time. All vampires have a lust for human blood so they immediately start losing touch with us, but there's more to that. Because they used to be human, it's intereting to see how their personalities change over time, causing them to frequently become egotistical and obsessed. That's why things like the Kiss Cult exist, some vampires truly believe they're the real gods and deserve to be worshipped like that."

JULES
FLOGGING MOLLY
6:47 PM

Dr. Wilson pushed the door open to the old tavern... bar... diner...place, and gave a small wave to the colleagues she recognized.

She sat down at a nearby available seat and tucked took a moment to request the bar's cheapest wine. She didn't need it to taste good. "I heard that it was a success. I haven't seen the full report but... I hope that silvered iodine was helpful to you, agents."

She looked at Dorian with a smile and an empty-handed toasting gesture. "You know, in Czechoslovakia we often celebrate these kinds of successes with a round of cheek scrapings. You wanna go first, Dorian?" At this point, Dr. Wilson's interest in obtaining a DNA sample from Dorian was well known enough that it had evolved into more of a running joke than anything else.

Once her wine arrived, Dr. Wilson leaned back and took on her usual stance of being an outsider observing someone else's group of friends. She was a consultant, and not on for every case. It wasn't every day they managed to get tissue off one of these things, let alone get permission to demo a new compound.

The smirk on his face grew when he noticed how red her face could get.
"With all due respect, love. It's not my fault that most of the students that come to my class think of themselves as unique snowflakes and tends to romanticize the cryptids. I just point the truth to them.", Theo knows deep down that he's a great S.O.B., but he wouldn't admit to that, "Unfortunately, most of the students choose this degree because they are enamoured with some of the concepts about those creatures, like the girl asking earlier if vampires are good. What I learned about vampires is that speaking from a human moral ground, they would be seen as monsters. However, when taking into account that they are not human anymore the idea of bad and good, right and wrong have to be thrown away, the only thing you can know for sure is that they are dangerous. Newborns have too little control to be safe to be around, and the older ones that have more control over their natures starts to lose the grasp on their humanity. That girl... She probably spent her high school life reading fantasy-teenagery books with vampire, werewolves and witches being used as romantic targets or whatever. And she would probably wish to become one and ended up in some deep shit because of her lack of common sense. I just saved myself the headache of having to deal with her stupidity for the rest of the semester, you should be thanking me."
Hearing about her research got his interest, "Thanks, love, I would appreciate if you did.", he said, "You have my e-mail, right?", he's pretty sure he gave it to his students so they could send him their papers and stuff. At least she was just going to go home, if she had to go to work or had any plans he, unfortunately, would have to work around her schedule sometimes "Well, then let me warn you that some times I may require your assistance in some odd hours, and even, days. However, it will always be research or work-related and not just to piss you off.", pissing her off was simply a perk of having an assistant, "And I believe you to be right, at least in parts, regarding vampires. Their society is truly a complex one and they have their own laws and their way of enforcing it. And some groups of them have, as a goal, to keep their humanity no matter how hard it is. I'm not saying they are good or better than other vampires. Some of them can be true monsters even while holding tight to their humanity, after all, there are monsters among humans too, right?", he said making himself even more comfortable on his armchair, "Yeah... The Kiss Cult.", he holds a great distaste for the group, but it biased since he blames them for the way Caron is now, "I heard that their leaders are still hooked up on that weird religion about the 'Old Blood' or something of that sort. I've been trying to dig some info, but they keep that to themselves, not even their pets and donors know all that much about that."

CARON

"I think you'd have better luck extracting a DNA sample from a rabid werewolf on steroids than from Dorian, Jules," Caron said while he stuffed his mouth with yet another cookie. "You fould try one of thefe cookies, Julef."

He felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and reached to see. Oh, no. That was the last thing Jemma needed. Now she'd be the victim of this maniac she'd been complaining about for the past few weeks. After everything she went through, she didn't deserve to be this guy's student. "I'm very sorry to hear that. Do you want to hang out with us at Flogging Molly?"

JEMMA

"Yes, I know their ideas about cryptids are stupid, but you're being insensitive and irresponsable." Her face turned even redder and her brows drew together. Couldn't he realize the power he had? "Instead of calling her an idiot, you could've explained how vampires are dangerous and that the Hollywood version of them is a real threat to society. You could've talked about the Kiss Coult and other worshipping societies. Don't you realize she's exactly the kind of victim that ends up dead in an alley because of this? You could be making our jobs easier instead of creating more victims."

She paused for a moment and itched her head, lowering her glaze. "I'm sorry, that was out of place." Clearing her throat, she continued in a lower voice. "I work during the day, sometimes at odd hours too, but I should be able to help you with your research." Not just help, but she was kind of relieved that it was mainly what her roll as his assistant was. Between work and school, she didn't have a lot of time left, but the time she did have was spent grieving and she was tired of hurting. This was a welcome distraction.

"I do have your email, I'll send my research to you right now," she said, taking her phone off.

"I'm actually ok right now," was the message she sent back to Caron before emailing the Professor.

"Is that what you're current interest is? The Old Blood religion? I never got too much into it, I mainly know it exists but nothing more than that. Vampires don't usually like other cryptids' blood, so it's surprising they follow the existance of this one really old cryptid."

CONSTANZA

The blonde choked on his beer when Jules tried, once again, to get a DNA sample from Gray and the look on the albino's face. "You know, Jules. Usually, I would help Dorian. But since she decided to betray me and plot against me with Caron, I might just help you get a DNA sample from her.", he said with an attempt on an evil smirk.
To make his point he got up from the booth where he was sitting and went to sit in the one next to Jules. From behind the bar Deanna was looking in amusement at the small group antics.
"From now on, Jules and I are Team Constanza.", John sometimes could be as annoyingly childish as Theo when it strikes his humour, especially if it means being able to annoy Caron out of his mind, "And we don't accept little albino-backstabbers-pixies and their domesticated agents.", he finished his beer and waited for Deanna to refill it, "Now, Jules... I've been meaning to ask if you're still up to... Experiment with some things I got from the 'fae market', you see... I just got my hands in some good stuff...", it wasn't any secret that Constanza is used to deal on the cryptid equivalent to a black market, actually, it was because of said dealings that years ago he had to go into hiding.

DORIAN

Red, half-lidded eyes stared at Jules when the doctor tried, again, to trick Dorian into giving her a DNA sample, however, the smirk on the corner of the albino lips made it clear that Dorian saw that as a joke, "Keep trying, Jules. Who knows, maybe one day you will get a sample and find out that I'm actually God and the Earth is my sandbox.", it was always funny to see the theories Jules would come up with to explain why Dorian hasn't changed since she knew the girl, but if someone should be suspicious it would be Constanza and Whirt, but Dorian is sure Jules had read the files about the albino, "And Constanza, stop being such a baby. We didn't betray you. How was I supposed to imagine that... That thing would try and make you his bride.", she couldn't even finish without laughing when remembering the scene "Jules... I'll send you the pictures. Constanza was such a pretty bride, don't you think so, Care-bear?"
It wasn't just Caron who suffers on her hand. Everyone shares that same fate. However, when Caron compared her with a rabid werewolf, she looked at him with those red eyes looking even bigger and brighter as if Caron had just double-crossed her, but in reality, she's just messing with him, "How could you, Caron. And here I thought that after all those years we were friends, and you just stabbed me on the back like this. No more cookies for you.", she said, "Or flans... Or even cakes... Or pancakes... A rabid werewolf... Now how can I stay on Team Care-Bear?", okay. Teasing him is just too much fun to pass up.

THEODORE

"They're adults, love. I'm not responsible for their idiocy.", was his emotionless reply about one of his students becoming a victim, "Once upon a time I made a mistake that almost cost my life, and that could have cost the life of my brother, and you won't ever see me blaming someone other than myself. Usually, more than half of my students will drop before mid-semester and find something else they would 'love' to study. These people don't have the drive needed to actually learn about other creatures and take that seriously enough. Because at the first obstacle they will simply give up and find something easier.", he said, "People like that will be only wasting my time in the long run."
Theo rolled his eyes closed when he saw coffee-girl being all apologetic, and here he thought she had made some progress, finally looking him in the eyes and speaking her mind. But he would have time to train her well as his assistant.
"Stop apologizing, love. You did nothing wrong.", he said dismissing her apologies, "Your opinions are as valid as mine. Just remember, as Harlan Ellison said, "You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant". And that's my problem with most of my students. Some of them as just ignorant and has no drive to change that posture.", he wanted more of the coffee she brought him, "Do you know why I choose you as my assistant, love? I did because you were looking like you wished to turn invisible, but at the same time, you never missed one of my lectures. Your fear of me did not stop your desire to learn.", compared to her and to other students that overcame that fear, he just had no interest in the others. And he also is a sadist son of a bitch, so that's that too.
Theo nodded in agreement about her restrictions regarding her schedule and when she said she would send her papers right away.
"Yes. As you said yourself, love, they don't usually like other cryptids blood, even when it comes to their eating habits they would stick mostly to human blood. So you can imagine my curiosity about what kind of cryptid could lead them to base their entire religion around its blood."

Dr. Wilson chuckled at the varied responses she got. "I dunno. I survived a cryptid attack at 14 without a weapon. Though previous run-ins with containing werewolves on-site have... not gone well." She waved her left hand, her ring and pinkie fingers conspicuously absent.

She didn't move away when Constanza sat next to her, but she did seem slightly more on-edge. That chaotic element was right nearby. "You know I won't take a DNA sample unwillingly. If I was willing to do that I probably could have succeeded in this endeavor by now if I was willing to be that unethical. But thank you for the support, Agent." She took a cookie with her left hand and had a tentative bite. Dorian's response was amusing, though. "Well that would certainly keep me from being an Atheist. But my current theory is that you're the same immortal cryptid subspecies that Keanu Reeves is. That, or you're a Lich who uses industrial-grade lotion." Jules smirked. "Or maybe you're the guy from the book, using your illuminati-like secretive control to make sure nobody knows who you really are, but much like the conspiracy theorists insist, kept your name the same as a cheeky clue."

Jules rolled her eyes. "Anyways, on more 'plausible' threads..." she turned to Constanza. "Firstly, before you ask, no. You still cannot get high from Pixie Dust. It's just caffeine and glitter. Secondly, I have no problem attempting to synthesize any other compounds you fine that are of genuine use besides partying."

CARON

The man seemed confused at Dorian's answer, as he saw what he said as a positive thing. "What do you mean Dorian, I meant that as a compliment!" His face was one of a lost child that didn't understand why their parents were mad they said something wrong. "But yeah, the sight of John in a wedding dress was one I didn't need and now it's burned in my eyes forever. But Dorian took pictures in case you're interested, Jules."

He continued munching his cookie while Jules talked about how Dorian didn't seem to age. Of course, he had his own questions about it, and his own speculations, but he didn't like to think about it too much. No one at the Agency seemed to be able to know for sure why she didn't age. They had old pictures on file of girls that look exactly like her, which could just mean she is a doppelganger, but that wouldn't explain why she didn't age.

JEMMA

She decided to drop that subject, even if she still thought he could do something good and gently let the students know they're thoughts are wrong. When he asked that she lift her gaze from the book, genuinely curious about why he had chosen her. She was surprised, that wasn't the answer she was waiting for. "I'm not letting anything get in my way." After Luke's murder she focused on her studies even more, telling herself and everyone else it was her way of coping with it, that she was trying to keep busy and not let depression and tragedy consume her, but it was more than that. She wanted to find Aleister.

"Do you have any theories about it? About what kind of creature it could be?"

DORIAN

"Hey! I like the Keanu Reeves one. Do you think we can reach to him on twitter and ask?", the albino simply decided to go along with Jules crazy theories, "Let's just agree that I'm not a Lich. I don't look or smell like one, thank you very much.", she pretended to be offended but the façade was ruined when she laughed about being the Dorian from the book, however, she soon stopped looking a bit confused at Jules"Wait... There really are conspiracy theories about me going on? How did it take this long for me to know? I need to feed them some weird rumours now to spicy things up.", yep. She's going to have sooo much fun leading everyone in circles.
Let's just put it simply: Caron is freaking cute.
Maybe that's not the most popular opinion, and a lot of people would say Dorian is nuts and Caron is intimidating. But sometimes he would make faces like the one when he's worried to have offended her for real and she could practically see him as a cute little puppy.
"Goddammit, Caron! It's impossible to stay mad at you.", she wasn't really mad, after all, he's right. If Dorian wasn't bored out of her mind all those years ago she would never get close to SEMA, "Sometimes I wonder...", how she can be friends with him and Theo (and sometimes Constanza) and not have gone insane, "And so that you know, I have plans to those pictures I took. Maybe SEMA Christmas Greeting Card this year or something.", she said before stealing one of his cookies and signalling Deanna for another beer. She's still not drunk, but she's certainly not sober anymore, "hey, think Theo's gonna come? I want to tell him about the wereslut and Constanza wedding."

THEO

That grin that always lifts a corner of his mouth was back again when coffee-girl gave her answer, "Good for you, love.", he said that as a compliment, "It would be a rather dull semester if you were to be some meek little thing unable to hold a conversation especially about something you also seem to have interest in.", and perhaps he's not the best complimenting people.
"Let's see...", he said searching his memories for information he got about the Kiss Cult and also about hematophagous and their beliefs, "It seems to be a bit of a disagreement between them about this creature. They don't leak all that much information, but a few sources say that the "Old Blood" cryptid is a vampire, the First of them. Others believe the creature to be another kind, but older than the hematophagous. But there's no record, they could pretty much be mixing things. Like mixing the story about the beginning of their species with this other cryptid lore. There's even the chance that said cryptid doesn't even exist and everything is like a huge misunderstanding. Hematophagous used to be human, so the habit of recording information took some time to be developed. Before that, history was passed orally. Someone could have just remembered wrong and passed it wrong to others, and you can imagine the rest by yourself.", he said, " However, the Kiss Cult, and some of the hematophagous outside the cult seem to believe this Old Blooded creature to be some kind of Virgin Mary of their kind. It's a bit freaky, but interesting."

CONSTANZA
"Woah... Feeling really judged right now, doctor Judgy.", he didn't give a damn but it was fun to always put her on edge like that. Sometimes he would wonder why she acts like that around him, but then he would also remember all the shit he's able to stir while on a case without even trying and that would answer enough, "No, I'm not trying to get high on pixie dust... Again. And you always take the fun out of everything, by the way.", he felt it was needed to make that point across before getting down to business.
"So... I went to the fae market a couple of days ago. You know... Nothing much to do around the Agency, these past days.", it was almost a rule at the Agency to never (NEVER) let Constanza out of sight when he's bored, because it usually means that things will spiral out of control in a blink, "And this fella was playing these dice games and betting, so I thought to myself "why not?", I'm usually pretty lucky. And I won.", he finished his tale with a big grin in his face, "Now... Where did I put that shit..." he was grumbling more to himself while searching his pockets until he took something out. It looked nothing like any type of fruit he ever saw, but he knew it to be a fruit. However, it gave off an eerie glow, and smelled like the most inviting scent, "It's a high-quality Fairy Fruit. Since I'm not stupid enough to eat something that would bind me to their land or whatever, I thought you would like the chance to figure that out and how that shit makes people unable to leave after they eat that. I mean... Is that some sort of drug that makes you dependant on the first bite and that's why you can't leave? Is that thing cursed? Does it taste good at least? 'Cause I'd be pretty pissed if it doesn't even have a good taste to compensate for biding me to some fae-land."
