"...Eh, killing people doesn't seem like such a bad thing if needed," Zari said with a shrug, looking over at the others as they talked about it. She wasn't entirely sure why she seemed to be perfectly fine with the idea, but the idea of being able to watch a body decompose or something like that sounded like an interesting idea. Or maybe she'd be able to see what their internal organs looked like? She wasn't sure, but just thinking about that sort of thing made her even more comfortable with the idea of killing someone.

"...Maybe, who knows? You'd be surprised what sort of uses you can find for things," she said with a shrug as she got up and headed out of the Galley and to the Atrium, as she heard people going on about needing a screwdriver or something as she walked over and looked at what it was that they wanted to open. "I'll be right back," she said to the others, before she took off out of the room at a run and went back to the Galley and the machine. "Okay... Let's see what we can do here..." she muttered as she started messing with the machine again, making two items from the machine. One was a tool that they'd need to open the thingy up, and the other was something else that might be useful, a flashlight. "I now dub thee as Glowstick," she said, talking to the flashlight for a moment before she raced back to the Atrium.

Heading back to where the grate was, she pulled out the specialized tool that she had made and went to see about opening up the grate. "Righty tighty lefty loosey..." she muttered to herself as she turned it to the left, trying to open it up, but it didn't seem to be working very well at the moment, even though she knew that the tool was right for the job, "Damn it why isn't this working?" she said out loud, looking at the tool in her hand.

Cal gave a satisfied nod as those around her gave their opinions on the possibility of having to kill. There were less people strictly oppose to it than she expected. Sophia seemed to be the only hard no, and her reasoning seemed more pragmatic than moral. Cal stepped away from the machine, shoving the pair of darts into her pocket. When Manny asked her if she wanted to hold onto it, she looked almost offended, defensively holding the vial to her chest.

”I can hold onto it just fine, thanks,” she replied, her voice slightly sharp and her body tense. After a moment, she let herself relax, dropping her arm and slipping the vial into her pocket. ”But if you get any idea what it could be used for...don’t hesitate to let me know. ‘Cause for all I know, it could be water...or maybe liquor.” With that, Cal followed the others out of the Galley, and into the Atrium. She hadn’t been investigating for long, before Sophia’s voice (and Vinnie’s much louder voice) caught her attention. She slowly slinked over, watching Zarina come back with some sort of tool, which she promptly tried to use to pop off the vent. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to be working.

”We could try blowing it up,” Cal chimed in from behind the small group of girls that had gathered around it. ”I mean, I’m not a chemist, I don’t think, but if we put our heads together, I’m sure we’ve got enough collective brainpower to put something together.”

In the Atrium, Luke started exploring the room a bit closer now. It was a gorgeous place. Whoever had made the room had done so with care and consideration, they had wanted them to enjoy the room. He wasn't a psychologist from what he could tell about himself, but that seemed counter to the assumptions they were making. Why make a room that the group would enjoy but have threatening messages hidden around the place?

"Hey, Vinnie, this is going to be a weird question, but do you think we've met before. Your voice is familiar." The feeling of knowing her was intense; there was something about how her voice sounded when she yelled. "Honestly, has anyone else gotten the feeling you know each other? It has been bugging me."

"I agree. Vinnie's voice is familiar. We were talking about it earlier. The camera I found in her room felt familiar too. Like I had held it before, or seen it before." Tessa said with a shrug. She was leaning against a massive redwood tree. Her eyes were a bit puffy, and Luke felt like he had possibly missed her crying. What was it about redwood trees that made Tessa cry?

"Interestingly, Luke, it is you who sounds familiar." Kyle said. Luke tilted his head. He had seen Kyle before. He had this very vivid image of him climbing.

"Gonna be hard for us to figure out how we know each other if none of us remember our past." Noah interjected. "However, that is an interesting hypothesis. Think whoever collected us, got people who knew each other on purpose?"

"Huh, mind if I try? Before we try explosives. However, I do think if the food thing can provide the right stuff I could probably blow this up." Manny asked Zarina, holding out his hand for the screwdriver. "Scientists care to figure out how we are supposed to get out of here instead of chatting about how we do or don't know each other?"

"We are working on that, knowing why might give us an idea of where and how."

Zari handed over the screwdriver and Manny leaned in to try. He started turning left, and when that produced no results he leaned back. Luke could see the gears turning in the guy's head, then Manny leaned back forward and turned right. The bolt came undone easily.

"They reversed the thread. I've seen it before on stuff you don't want to be opened easily. Make a specialized tool and reverse the thread. It keeps people from getting it right away." Manny explained as he undid the rest of the bolts. The water flow increased with the removal of the grate.

Sophia winced slightly when Vinnie yelled out about her discovery, but she didnt really get angry at her, as the others started to gather around towards the grate in the atrium where the water was coming out of. She thought for a moment as she watched Zari trying to open up the grate and then Manny having a go at it. She had an idea and wanted to see if she could make a fiber optic camera, it would be safer having to use that instead of someone actually going through. She headed back into the galley area and made her way towards the fabricator thing and tried to see if she could make one. Sophia groaned a little bit as she couldn't really find out how to actually make one at all, and made her way back towards the others.

"If someone knows how to use the thing and make a fiber optic cable we could see about seeing how far that goes." Sophia said and looked over towards Zari, she was the smallest out of all of them but she didn't like the idea of sending her through at all. "Either that or, we have to send someone through that's small enough. But seeing that there is a lot of water coming through there now it wouldn't be a smart thing. Or if we Zarina here could reprogram the bot she has there to go through there and somehow make a tracker of some kind for it."

"Oh, I guess that sort of thing makes some sense," Zari commented as Manny came over and messed with the tool. "...Though explosives probably would have been really cool to see trying to open the thingy up," she said as she glanced a bit at the size of the opening, and Sophia making a comment about trying to make some really cool camera or something to put into the tunnel aside from someone just going into it first. She even suggested her trying to reprogram Zoomy in order to do it, but there was one thing she figured, reprogramming something might take a while. "...Reprogramming a robot could take a while, and I don't know about you people but I don't wanna wait around here much longer."

With those last words, she headed back to the replicator machine and started messing with it, trying to create some sort of communication device or something. It didn't have to be fancy or anything, just something simple that would work for two way communication. After a few button presses, she wound up with a singular walkie talkie, and it didn't even have batteries in it. "Now that's just plain useless!" she said as she started trying for something better, before she managed to create two headset communicators of sorts, and both thankfully were water proof! "Bingo!"

Zari raced back out of the Galley and back to the Atrium, setting her bag down before pulling out her flashlight that she had created before. Walking over she handed one of the things to Raynor, since currently she trusted him the most, well him and Manny. "Here, it's a communicator, it should be useful," she said to him, before she connected the other one to her ear as she flipped on the flashlight and climbed up the grate and into the opening, not caring that she was getting hit by water, or anything, "Why wait around to try and mess with things, don't know what you people think but I'm gonna see about going now!" she said happily, though it was a bit difficult for her to fight against the flow of the water, she wasn't exactly the strongest sort of person around or anything. But hey, she hadn't been thrown out of it yet!

"If we want to blow it up, can't we just get a lighter and some alcohol?" Vinnie asked. She was fairly certain that was how things worked in movies. And they already knew for a fact that the vending machine of requirement could dispense any sort of alcohol they needed. "Oh, wait, gasoline! If we get enough gasoline, that'll definitely explode! Or at least catch on fire and smell really bad... Or maybe the machine can make a grenade? And we just need to count to three and roll it over here?" Vinnie proposed. She scratched that off the mental list of possible occupations she could have had - demolitions expert. It was becoming increasingly hard for Vinnie to figure out what she was good at. Everyone else seemed to know something. Maybe she worked as a secretary or an assistant or something. She groaned at the thought.

"Wait, what now? I sound familiar?" Vinnie's eyes widened. She had no idea what to make of that. "I'm pretty sure I've never seen you guys before in my life. Wait, actually, I'm wrong. Sophia seems a bit familiar, I guess? But that could just be from the emotional whiplash of thinking she's cool now after deciding she was a space zombie infiltrator set out to destroy us and eat our brains. Oh! And Cal. I have a flash of you in my head? Like I've seen you before? Do you think the two of us maybe... had a musical montage in a Chili's maybe?" Vinnie rambled. "Or maybe a Wendy's or a Dairy Queen? I don't think I was the sort of person for an office job. Maybe I could have worked at a hardware store. And been all like - this wood is bad. Don't buy it! and stuff?"

Raynor shook his head. He wished that he had brought a screwdriver drink with him to the atrium. Vinnie's voice was starting to give him a headache. "Actually, Kyle, I think I've seen you climb," Raynor interjected into the conversation. "As for whoever is behind this, I don't care if they picked people who knew each other. I care that we kill them and get the hell out of here."

He put on the communicator device that Zarina had given him, not admitting that he was a little worried for the kid. She had crawled on in without a second glance. They probably should have tied a rope around her waist or something so they could pull her out quickly. "Testing, testing, kid can you hear me?" Raynor said. He must have had too much rum. There was no response. It took him a moment before he realized the thing wasn't actually on and he casually reached up, twisting a knob on the headset. He was trying to make it look like he was just adjusting the volume and hadn't actually forgotten to turn the thing on first.

That was one thing he knew about himself - he was prideful as hell.

"Testing again, one, two, three, kid can you hear me?"

"You'd think that creepy space robots would come up with something more secure than 'lets flip the screws,' wouldn't ya?" Cal mused, a snort audible after her words. She neglected to mention that it had, in fact, fooled her well enough that she immediately decided explosives were the next best option. Upon hearing her name, her head turned quickly towards Vinnie, eyebrows scrunching together as the girl gave a swift, almost nonsensical rant on where they might've known each other from. Despite the fact that trying to make sense of Vinnie's rants felt like going on a roller coaster while on acid, Cal did her best to do just that. If the girl remembered her, anything that came out of her mouth could help her figure out exactly who she was. But as Vinnie spoke, and Cal searched her mind, she couldn't come up with anything having to do with any sort of musical shenanigans at any fast food establishment.

"I mean, it's entirely possible, I guess, but I don't remember-" she began to say, before something smashed its way into the front of her mind. It was Vinnie's full name: Lavinia Grace. Why did it sound so familiar? No, that wasn't right. It didn't sound familiar. Hearing hadn't sparked anything when Vinnie first introduced herself. But when Cal imagined the words written in her head, that was familiar. Written in black, surrounded by white, surrounded by orange. Round in hand, a familiar round. Why was it familiar? The feeling of her forefinger rubbing the ridges of a safety cap. A pill bottle! The image became clear in her head: a pill bottle, with Lavinia Grace written on it. A prescription for Adderall. "Lavinia...Adderall! You've got ADHD! That..." she began, and was about to comment on how much that revelation explained about Vinnie's personality, but she pulled herself back, for fear of insulting the girl. "That is quite the discovery! I think I'm your pharmacist, mate!" The memory of holding the pill bottle in hand seemed to solidify the idea that she was a pharmacist, raising her certainty to slightly above fifty percent. She was so enveloped in the idea of finding hints on her past life, that she didn't notice Zarina had left until only her feet were sticking out of the vent. Much to her annoyance, she could feel that protective feeling rise back up to the surface. She didn't much care for that feeling. Glancing over at Raynor, she watched as he tried to communicate with Zari without turning the device on.

"Oi, once you figure out how to turn that fuckin' thing on, tell the girl to get her scrawny arse out here so we can come up with a better plan than 'let the kid go through a vent half-full of water so she can pop out God knows where and probably get herself killed,' yeah?! she spat, amplifying her rudeness in attempt to cover up her attempt at altruism.

Tessa stayed away from the opening of the river. She was impressed with Zarina's willingness to climb in and start checking it out. Tessa figured it just led up into a vat of water. There probably was a filtration system of some sort too.

"Wait, what about where the water exits." She pushed herself away from the tree and started following the river downstream. It ended eventually in a pond, but it couldn't be a closed system, if it was that meant that the water would just be flooding the room. "Luke, you can swim, right? Like you're good at it, you said you had the swimmers cap in your room."

"I'm fairly confident about it yeah. Why?"

"Zarina is going against the current. What would happen if we went with it? That pipe probably leads to a vat of water that is processed from the water that is coming from this pool. Right?" Tessa looked helpless thinking. Noah joined them.

"I don't think you're wrong. Let Zarina see what she can discover. If the water pressure is too much we can try this direction, but it might be a completely closed loop. However, in space water is extremely valuable. It is possible whoever we are dealing with has figured out a way to synthesize it."

"Synthesized what?" Luke asked. Tessa was wondering as well.

"Water." Noah said. He shrugged and then walked back to the mouth of the river. "How is she doing?"

For Zarina she would catch in the flash of the light another grate up ahead, it would be a struggle going against the water though, she would also hear Raynor's message over the radio. She would not be able to tell if the grate in front of her was screwed in from this side or the other side.

To Vinnie Manny said "Blowing stuff up is a lot harder than just some alcohol. Especially if it is metal like this is." He said holding up the grate. He sighed when she started going off. With Cal's revelation that Vinnie the girl made more sense and he relaxed his shoulders a bit. "Okay, can we calm down a bit? However, a blow torch or something might help. Though not sure how I feel about giving a blowtorch to a teen."

"I-" Kyle started to say and then he sat down holding his head. "Oh, oh boy. Okay. I just have a lot of memories suddenly. I do climb, competitively for fun. I also am a cop and work with Interpol. My wife, she was the one I remembered with the lizard. She really likes lizards. That's her thing."

Sophia watched as Zarina of all people decided to just jump right in there without to much thought into it, she shook her head slightly and sighed a little bit. She just hoped that there wasn't anything bad in that vent of water, her attention turned towards Vinnie as she mentioned her. She bit her bottom lip for a moment, the name sounded familiar now. "Actually I think we are actually related." Sophia said towards Vinnie they were definitely related. "I think you are my cousin or something." She told her, as she watched the others going down towards the makeshift pond.

She looked down at the water, she wasn't to sure how deep the water actually was, or if there was anything unusual in the water itself as she looked over at Kyle who seemed to remember something himself. "So, looks like you are an intergalactic cop now huh?" Sophia said jokingly, giving him a slight smile, and turned towards Manny. "I could give it a try or something the blow torch or something that is." She said.

"Yeah I can hear you perfectly fine," Zari responded over the device to Raynor, having heard his voice as she shone her flashlight around, trying to see if she could see something useful. "I think I see another grate, give me a moment," she added, before she managed to crawl her way over, fighting against the water over to the grate as she saw it. Zari was hoping that the grate could be opened from the side that she was on, and luckily for her, it was able to be, however it annoyed her to no end that she hadn't grabbed the tool back from Manny in order to be able to open it up again.

She managed to get back around and found it much easier to go with the current as opposed to against it, and eventually she poked her head out of the grate and looked at everyone else. "Mind handing me that tool again? I kind of need it, there's a grate at the other end of this tunnel that I can open from this side with it," she said, brushing her hair out of the way slightly as she did so, since her hair, like the rest of her clothes, was soaking wet. Her legs were starting to get sore, and a bit cold, "Also fun fact, the water is insanely cold after a while, which is kind of cool, but also really cold, but I'll see about getting the grate at the other end open to see where it goes or something," she said, taking the tool from Manny as she glanced over at the others. "Like this is really cold. But I really want to see what's on the other side of the other grate. It's so coooooool, exploring and all! The water is the annoying part. But I got down there once, should be able to get to the other end again!"

Vinnie tilted her head slightly at Cal. Did she had ADHD? She had no idea. How would she know if she did? Would there be some sort of helpful, informative neon sign floating up in the sky? Was there even a sky when they were in space? If they were going to somehow fly a spaceship to Earth, at what point did the space become sky? Was there some sort of awkward mild territory that just randomly decided if it wanted to be space or sky that day? Would a parachute work about an inch into the space side, since the sky was right there below it? What color parachutes did astronauts use anyways? Did they look like American flags? And why does every country use red, white, and blue for their flag - was there some sort of vendetta against other colors? Was there an illuminati type society with those colors that had infiltrated every country with red, white, and blue flags? Who started the illuminati anyways? Did anyone ever try to create a rival illuminati, like how gangs had rivals? Did they leave coded messages to each other? Were they inside the Declaration of Independence? And who came up with writing anyways? Or signatures? Did someone just decide that if they made their name all ~fancy~ it would look more impressive?

She blinked, suddenly snapping back to the present moment. "Sorry, what's happening again?" She got the feeling someone had said something to her. Was it Manny? Where did the name Manny come from anyways? Why wasn't Womanny a name? Vinnie's nose wrinkled as a clear thought cut in on the latest rabbit hole she had been about to go down: fuck the patriarchy! It hadn't been Manny who was talking, since he started going on about blowing things up with alcohol...

OH YEAH! Vinnie mentally applauded herself, remembering what they had been talking about. They were going to try to blow up the grate. But apparently they didn't need to, since she could clearly see that the grate had been removed. She pouted a bit. Blowing things up had sounded fun. "Wait, hold the phone, what? You think we're cousins? I mean maaaaybe we have the same nose, but your eyes are all wrong. Or at least I think they are. WAIT WHAT DO MY EYES LOOK LIKE AGAIN?!" Vinnie exclaimed. "Oh, hi Greenie! You look super wet. Do we have towels or something for you? Maybe they're the nice hotel quality... I don't think I rubbed the towels yet to check if I found any. I guess worst case scenario you can use a change of clothes to dry yourself off with."

Raynor let out a little tension in his shoulders as Zarina rejoined them. She was clearly soaked, but she didn't seem to be hurt or anything. "Hold on, kid, maybe you should go drink some hot tea or something before diving into the water again. You can't explore if you're dead."

Vinnie's eyes widened. "Why would you even say that???"

For reasons beyond her understanding, Cal felt her body go tense upon hearing Kyle mention his profession, and a sense of unease settled in her mind. She didn't want to think about why exactly the thought of being in the presence of a cop was unsettling to her, so she didn't. She forced the observation deep into the back of her mind, until it was barely audible amongst her other thoughts. Even so, the tension in her body didn't fade away. When Zarina complained about the temperature of the water, and Vinnie and Raynor began to brainstorm ways for her to warm up, Cal raised her hand next to her head and gave it a little wave.

"I'll go grab her some stuff," she volunteered, before adding, "One of us gettin' hypothermia is the last thing we need." With that, she began to walk towards the exit of the atrium. But before she got there, she noticed a folded blanket lying on the ground. Her eyebrows furrowed as she scooped it up off the ground. She dusted it off a little, cautiously looking at it, before tucking it under her arm. It'd do in place of a towel. Everything else she needed, she'd have to make in the galley.

Once there, she immediately made her way to the machine. She wasn't exactly a pro with it, so she didn't expect to have much success, but surprisingly, she found herself making exactly what she needed to make. First, a glass of bourbon popped out, which she took. Then, after a couple more taps, a solid, high-quality rope followed. Cal smiled, surprised by her own success. She hung the rope from her shoulder, and made her way back to the atrium. Once there, she let the rope slide off her arm, landing on the ground in front of the group

"Alright, before we do any more swimming or exploring, we should probably tie this around whoever's gonna be doing it. We don't know what's on the other side of these vents, and it'd be best if were able to pull them back if we need to," she said, before turning to Zarina, holding out both the blanket and the bourbon to the kid. "You should bundle up before catch a cold. And drink this; the taste might not be pleasant, but it'll warm you up."

"Guess you're right Sophia. Look at the bright side I guess, and not the horrifying possibility that as far as my wife knows I've abandoned her." Kyle's voice was tight and he was still sitting with his head in his hands.

"Let me see your hand kid." Manny told her, Zarina held out her hand. Manny looked at it and took her pulse while counting to himself, then said. "Good news, you don't have hypothermia. However, as your self-appointed doctor, I think it is best you get out for a little bit and warm up before trying back up there again. The blanket is good."

Manny considered the bourbon that Cal was suggesting Zarina drink. He then looked up at the windows showing them the void of space. Manny shrugged. "I wouldn't recommend it, probably best if you drink some hot tea or something. I won't stop you from trying it though. I have a feeling you're going to be determined to try it."

"You can check in the mirror in the bathrooms if you want to verify." Gordon suggested to Vinnie. "I will say though I can kind of see some relation between you two."

"I'm guessing be a cop makes me a responsible adult. I strongly suggest you don't drink that Zarina." Kyle said. He finally stood up and offered his hand to Zarina so she could jump out of the pipe a lot easier.

"While she warms up I'm going to check out the other end of the river. See where it drains." Luke picked up the rope and looked at it confused.

"I'll tie that up for you in a second." Kyle offered.

Sophia looked towards Vinnie for a moment, all she knew was that they were related together somehow but she wasn't sure if they were sisters or cousins really either. Sophia watched as Zarina finally came out from the grate saying that she was really cold from the water, she wasn't sure what else was in that water either and still though that it was a really dumb idea as well. "I still have to say that was kind of a dumb idea." Sophia said, but she was glad that Zari was able to find something on the other end of the water pipe like thing.

Her attention turned towards Cal as she walked off towards the galley to gather somethings, and a few seconds later coming back with a rope and some bourbon as well. Sophia tensed up slightly as she watched Cal actually offer the alchohol to Zari, who looked more like a minor to her with the way she acted around everything. "I kind of have to agree with Kyle it's a really bad idea to drink that, if she's going back under there she shouldn't be intoxicated at all either." Sophia pointed out.

Zari wasn't too sure what to think of being offered bourbon to drink. "...I don't think I'm old enough to drink," she responded, taking the blanket from Cal as she stood up fully, and wrapped it around herself. Her eyes went wide, as a flash of something went across her mind. "...You, did something..." she said towards Cal, her voice rising when she said that, but it was clear that she was trying to remember something important. "I don't think I can trust you, something tells me not to trust you," she added, backing away somewhat from Cal, and almost like she was glaring at her almost, as well as appearing somewhat confused, "Get the hell away from me!" Zari screamed out without any warning, before she took off running out of the room.

She didn't know why she freaked out quite like that. It had been unexpected, that strange feeling, and she was trying to calm down, but there wasn't much she was able to do about it. They weren't sure that they could trust each other, the others seemed to be able to know who each other were, or at least know more about each other then one thing. The same couldn't be said about her and Cal. No one seemed to have recognized her at all, while Cal so far had claimed to be in the medical field, and then just flat out claimed to maybe be a pharmacist. Zari was crying a little bit, as she went up to the vending machine thing, and started pushing buttons to get something warm to drink, still shivering.

The first attempt she ended up with a cup of hot water, and she picked up the cup, and looked at it, before tossing it aside, kicked the machine, and tried again. The second time was the same result, and the machine seemed to be laughing at her almost, and she did the exact same thing, tossed the glass aside, kicked the machine, and tried for a third time. This time she managed to get what she had wanted, a cup of hot chocolate. Walking a little ways away from the machine, she sat down on the floor, bundled up in the blanket and took a sip of her drink, letting the warmth envelop her.

"I'll take that" Raynor said, grabbing the bourbon Cal had been offering Zarina. He tilted his head back and downed it all at once. He wasn't the type to savor alcohol. For him, its purpose was to help him feel warm and loose, to relax and wind down. "Oops, all gone. So sad. Too bad." He set the glass down and shrugged, as if he had been intending on letting Zarina have some after he tried it. Yet when Zarina started to freak out with relation to Cal, his eyes narrowed. He didn't know Zarina but he was quickly feeling protective of her. Maybe he was an aggressive bodyguard/babysitter before all of this. "You make a move towards her, I'll snap your neck," he told Cal bluntly, before walking after Zarina.

Vinnie was staring at Cal with bug eyes. She had already suspected Sophia that day of secretly being a robot zombie. And while Cal had proved that she bled red, maybe she was some sort of double agent working for the Them - the official name she had given their captors. What if Cal had some sort of secret spy earpiece, relaying information back to the Them, letting them know all about their ideas and strategies? And who would taste the best if roasted alive? "You're not a pharmacist, are you? Because you just spooked a little kid and pharmacists don't scare kids! That's what dentists do! But you know what? Maybe you're working for Them! Maybe you were planted here as a mole to drive us crazy and make sure we have no way of escaping. All in favor of locking Cal in one of the rooms, say aye! AYE!"

Her gaze darted around a bit wildly, trying to see if people were in agreement with her. Raynor had gone after Zarina. Everyone else was still there - including her nose twin, Sophia. She still wasn't really convinced that the two of them were related. If it was just off of passing resemblance, then all of the white people on board the ship were going to look like cousins or something like that at least. She had no idea how Cal knew that she had ADHD, but if she was giving off bad vibes, Vinnie didn't want to take any risks.

In the galley, Raynor leaned up against the doorway, looking at Zarina. "Don't worry, kid, I won't let her in here."

"There's no legal drinkin' age in space, mate," Cal replied to both Kyle and Zari's attempted excuses for her not to drink the liquid, followed by a single-syllable laugh. The laugh faded to a smirk when Sophia gave her point, which caused an unconvinced expression to rest on her face. "I mean, I s'pose so, but do we really want her going back in there? You heard her. She's cold and tired. We should let her rest." As she finished, she felt a sudden absence of the bourbon glass in her hand. Her smirk faded, an annoyed frown taking its place as she watched Raynor down the drink. "Oi, that's not yours arse-" she began, stepping up close to Raynor in an attempt to be intimidating.

Her cursing of the man was interrupted by the green-haired girl behind him, her voice immediately catching Cal's attention. She let her head lean to one side to look past Raynor, looking at Zarina with eyebrows furrowed in confusion. As the kid spoke, Cal shook her head in disbelief. Looking at the girl...she didn't remember or feel anything, other than the protective feeling she'd been trying to cover up since meeting the kid. Was she trying to set Cal up? Was she Crucible-ing her? As the girl ran off, the others were quick to turn on her, with Vinnie going on one of her Vinnie rants and Raynor literally threatening her life. The first instinct that popped into her head was to lie, and deflect their distrust onto Zarina. But that protective instinct held her back, keeping the dishonest words from forming. Instead, she took a step back from Vinnie, raising her hands up defensively.

"What, one shred of doubt and our fast food musical montage means nothing?" Cal said, her voice sounding offended. It wasn't as much an actual defense, and more of a reminder that Vinnie had remembered her. She glanced at the others, trying to gauge their reactions, before her eyes flitted back to Vinnie. "I don't know if you've ever gotten a flu shot, but that can be a traumatic experience for a kid. I probably just jabbed her with a needle wrong, and she never forgave me." she said, before letting out a sigh. "I don't know what the kid's going on about. She doesn't spark any memories or even familiar vibes from me. And to be honest, I care as much about her well-being as the rest of you. More, probably, considering the fact that you fucks let her crawl through a vent to God knows where. Listen, you want to lock me up, mate, then fine. Lock me up. But as soon as you believe that I might be working up for this malicious and mysterious 'Them', you open yourselves up to the possibility that everyone else could be working for 'Them' too. You won't be able to trust a goddamned person here. You won't be gettin' fuckin' anywhere with distrust running that deep. Haven't you ever seen a Red Scare allegory? With that mentality, it won't be long before you rip each other to fuckin' shreds." Her words got quicker and more aggressive as she spoke. When she reached the end of her speech, she shoved out her hands, holding them together, as if offering to let them handcuff her with handcuffs she knew they didn't have. It was more symbolic than anything. "So what's it gonna be? Are you gonna cry witch and throw me in a cell, or are we going to figure this out like adults?"

"I'm suggesting she doesn't drink it for reasons other than legality. She's a kid, there have been a lot of studies about what alcohol can do to do a developing body." Kyle explained and glanced at Raynor. "And even already developed bodies can be damaged by alcohol." Kyle stepped over to Luke and started tying the rope around him. "You should be secure if you go diving."

"Alright, everyone calm down. Cal is right; any one of us could be working for 'Them.' None of us remember anything. Well, except Kyle now, which implies the rest of us can get our memories back. Or if anyone is working for Them, it is him, but he'd be a terrible spy if that were true." Manny said. Kyle rolled his eyes slightly at Manny's comment.

"Well, unless they've Manchurian candidate'd me, I promise I'm not working for Them. They took me from my wife. I'll be the first to punch Them."

Tessa was still standing away from the group near the pond. "How about we worry who might or might not be a mole after we find out who Them even is." Tessa suggested. Everyone in the group had different ideas of who They might even be. Tessa had her theory, which could be wildly inaccurate. She was leaning to a weird government conspiracy and also thought the view was faked.

Luke was walking over to her and the pond. Luke walked into the water and hissed.

"No wonder she was getting cold. The water is almost freezing. I think They don't want us getting into it." Luke said, adopting the new nickname for whoever was behind the group's situation. Luke dunked himself entirely into the water and then stood up. He was already shivering slightly. "She's resilient I'll give Zarina that." Luke then dived into the water. Kyle was holding the rope. Tessa was glad they were using the rope. It meant that if Luke had any issues, Kyle would be able to pull him out.

Galley

Another of those white Roombas came out and cleaned up the water and cups. It came up to Zarina after cleaning up and bumped against her. If one could communicate with the Roomba, it might have said it was just trying to clean the water that was pooling around Zarina, or it might have had comforting words for Zarina. Maybe it knew she was upset.

Sophia turned to look at Zarina as she freaked out at Cal apparently remembering something, and then freaking out before leaving over towards the Galley. Sophia wasn't sure who to even trust, except for maybe Vinnie despite how overly annoying she was at times, she was at least related to her somehow. "Well for one Zarina just jumped in there, so I couldn't really have stopped her if I could." Sophia said turning towards Cal, and then stared at Vinnie as she jumped to a conclusion again groaning slightly and shook her head slightly towards her. "She hasn't done anything to harm anyone of us yet, so there isn't really a need to do that." Sophia told her, she didn't trust anyone here fully yet really. "I'm going with no on the locking up thing at least for now." Sophia said giving a slight shrug.

As she started to think of something, she wasn't sure why 'Them' as everyone started to call these people or aliens that have taken them onto this ship. Sophia watched as Luke went to dive under the water and Manny holding the rope so that he could dive, Luke seemed to know a lot about diving and stuff. "Maybe we compare skills, at least the stuff that we remember maybe they need people with certain skillsets?" She asked shrugging slightly

"...Thank you..." she said, looking up towards Raynor from her spot on the floor, her hair was still dripping wet from climbing around in that vent, but she didn't really care too much as she took another sip of her hot chocolate. Her mind was racing as she tried to remember what it was that Cal had done, but nothing really came to her. She just kept coming up with this feeling of distrust, fueled by the feeling that at least she had thought that they had been friends, but then something happened to make it obvious that she wasn't. "Sorry I freaked out like that..."

Zari set down her cup of hot chocolate and picked up the roomba, more or less hugging the robot in her arms, not really caring about anything else as her mind kept trying to come up with answers as to what had happened, but she kept failing. "...I don't remember much just... I thought of her as my friend, and then... I don't know, she did something, something to make me realize that she wasn't... And I don't know what it is, or how I even knew her... Nothing really, and it bugs me to no end..." she said softly, still hugging the roomba in her arms.
