Not saying I'm Aragorn, buuut...


I thought Stur had a bit of a Boromir feel too him honestly. A strong man, best of his people, worn down by a relentless enemy, willing to make incredible sacrifices and hard choices for the good of his country and family. A decidedly human hero, in both his strengths and flaws.

Edit. Then again, we're all only one post in, so might be a tad early to make those kind of comparisons.

Hmm, you raise a good point. I had him as Aragorn because of the leader in exile bit, but his virtues and vices are much more Boromir.

Does raise the question of going forward whether we should wait for everyone to post before reposting ourselves or not. I know we decided not to have a posting order, but do we want to wait on everyone getting a chance to react to every situation or action, or would we be better served enforcing a 'minimum post gap before reposting'?

There you go guys, new post. And it's funny you should bring that up, @BlackSam3091. I am going to experiment with what I'm tenatively calling a Party Chat Zone. This will be moments where, in a normal DnD campaign, the party would be able to freely talk among themselves rather than waiting for me to post.

This is a test, so lets see how it works out from here. If it gets a bit too messy and chaotic, we'll go back to some sort of loose posting order or something else. Let me know what you guys think!

@Jeremor Party chat zone sounds good to me, and the three post spacer seems suitable considering the size of our party.

Also, when Gentle smells Nathaniel would he sensed anything weird or unique?

@pinkkoala321 I love Imalessa so so much, please don't take Brynan's bitchiness to heart. She's just got a bit of simple way of looking at things. I've been plotting for the two of them to eventually bond over their shared heritage ever since you posted her.

@Jabberwocky No worries! Honestly, at first I want her to have that timid "faun" look, just because she tends to be uncomfortable when too far away from the trees. But her real personality is a bit more stubborn and headstrong. Just has to be comfortable first. And I like the idea of them bonding over their heritage. Imalessa has only ever really come in contact with her fully human mother and sisters and her full-blooded elven father, so she's never really met another half-elf before.

@The Wyrm Hey there Wyrm, I'm very sorry but I actually closed recruiting just a little while ago. The party got pretty big pretty fast.
