Alright, after a good night's rest and seeing the new, fresh characters, I do have a few lore-relevant questions I think should be established before we dive in.

Have the doors in the temple of time been opened? As a result, did the Triforce get successfully split during Ganondorf's betrayal of the crown?

To compliment the set of questions above, have the three big tribes been visited by the would-be hero? Is the hero known to the people? Is our timeline going to be devoid of the hero? If so, how does the Triforce operate in this scenario?

Will we be visiting key elements to Ganondorf's total subjugation of the land? Such as the Gorons being conquered and Volvagia's revival? Can the events be altered to a degree, such as the evil Spirit Bongo Bongo being used more tactically than just ... Suddenly putting the town on fire and bailing?

Given my (brief) lore on Nabooru was accepted, I'd assume the sages are incarnated as the same beings in this RP? If there's no hero, will the cast be naturally brought to meet them? Will it be a sort of race of Light vs Dark in that regard?

This is the first year of Link being put to sleep. So, no, Link's still napping, he hasn't visited anyone besides as a kid one year ago. Unless that's what you meant. I would say the Triforce has been split, yes. Impa has fled with the princess. Dare I say, we probably won't be adhering strictly to the "official" timeline, where's the fun in that?

I can only imagine that things like Volvagia's revival will be major events for us.

Man, I might need to brush up on my OoT, after all.

@CitrusArms Yes that is what I meant, since Link was the 'Royal Family Messenger' that slew not only the Gorons' tormentors but also saved Princess Ruto and stopped Ganondorf's curse from claiming a second great spirit. Essentially making Link known as a potential hero by the big tribes. So the three stones have been acquired, good good. I was mostly wondering what alterations were made to the story and how much of Link there'd be in this iteration.

I'm excited to see these events come into play! Zora's Domain being frozen, Volvagia's swan song to the Gorons, the Kokiri infestation. Loads of fun stuff!

I confess that I'm interested in seeing how our characters interact with each other Yummy. Considering Nadalia and Grindan are both Ganondorf loyalists, it should be interesting.

As for Hilda... If you want to expand your CS for her slightly, she could have born witness to a part of Grindan's 'court' in the Hyrule Castle Town Square... which is more or less a monster run witch trial. Monsters and Ganondorf loyalists gathering captured towns folk who didn't escape in time being forced to either prove their loyalty to the new regime or be forced to confess their crimes of harboring loyalties to the old Hyrule royal family and put to death. If these confessions happen to be forced out via torturous methods, who cares? Anyone who objects is clearly a traitor to the new king and needs to die painfully.

@Bright_Ops I'm really looking forward to our interactions really. I'm hoping we don't turn to the overused habit of 'antagonist' characters being overly broody and become massively indifferent to one another. It'd be fun to have the more villainous characters actually have some chemistry without being tied together in some super deep or convoluted way. Kind of like the villains in MHA or even Akame Ga Kill.

I'd also like to ask: Is Ganondorf's character just plain evil or are we going to borrow some from his Wind Waker variant? A more honourable and well-meaning Ganondorf, with his main fault being that he was born cursed and his methods bred from Twinrova's influence?

To be fair, OoT Ganondorf doesn't get much characterization beyond "blearg, I'm the bad guy." I'll take ya Wind Waker Brodorf over- oh, that's right, OoT Ganondorf is possessed by Ganon, isn't it.

These are some good questions for Dark Cloud. I will say that the story of a Ganondorf that's trying to fight back an evil possessor Ganon and rule Hyrule the "right" way sounds interesting, at least.

Alright! I've created a server for those interested in exchanging. I'll be looking into ways for Dark Cloud to part take as well. I'll be sending a link to those interested and will relegate control of the server to the GM's if they wish. It's 100% bare bones, I'll try to make it a bit more homely!
