edit: Darn. I guess I'm just wishing I went with my first draft of my post when I had Emily actually enter the room and sit down next to Doctor Stanton. I thought it'd be too weird. I won't make that mistake again, lol.

It is. Even with the +3 modifier, it was a low roll. However, it's still just an urge, an additional complication. You decide how far you go with it. I don't force anyone to do anything.

Very glad I checked the general boards... this is going to be great, and like @Prosaic mentioned above, I am very glad you are all very well written. I couldn't be happier about that. I am looking forward to this immensely and I am loving the pace too. I hate waiting so much on here, the only real drawback to play by post in my opinion. Very glad to be here with the rest of you.

@Zoey Boey Emily is awesome! Definitely a wonderful contrast to the rest of us too.

@Arkitekt Yeah I like all the characters. I wasn't expecting Emily to be this much of a contrast, and given what she's gonna be doing in her next post she's definitely...an oddball.

Speaking of my next post @Kino End, how often can we post? Is it once per world update?

You post as much as you want. At some point, of course, you will be hindered by replies from others and me. However, I will be able to make purely "GM" posts as well, where I just focus on writing for the environment and various, minor NPCs. This will make things faster than when I write for a specific, major character such as Linda.

@Kino End Oh, sweet! Makes sense. In that case I'll get an Emily post up tonight or tomorrow. This RP is really cool. I'm a little sad we never got to meet Doctor Stanton, but I like how he's been characterised through how other people remember him.

I like slice of life nuances this gives off too. I usually do the medieval low fantasy or sci fi stuff. I definitely enjoy these sort of elements that focus on daily life and mundane habits and things like that. It's a nice switch up from what I mainly do.

@Arkitekt Serena managed to stay out of complications concerning the pursuit in the stairwell.

@dreamingflowers Mia is able to keep it together during the hallway feelings of anxiety and such.

@Theyra No further complications for Cole, either.

@Zoey Boey Emily continues to be unlucky here. Feels like this is cursed, no? This is about the powder and its effect. I'll detail in my next post what happens.

Going to post shortly. Where exactly is the dr's room in the building? I pictured the stairwell on the southside so thats the way I went. I'm just curious as to which side the windows would be on (if any) so that serena could see when the cops arrive, I mean they will probably hear sirens and all that but she will most likely be looking for them too.



I feel like the southwestern corner (closest to the monument, so stairwell would be southeastern corner) would be a good spot so that they could see both the front and 89th, but it's up to you.

NOTE: The marker I have placed was the last known location of the perp she was following. That's where she lost sight of him.
