MIKA CHAMBERS

When Dean shoved her to the side slightly to budge up on the back seat, she smirked and shuffled along, letting him sit next to her and noting how during the whole ride he was fidgeting a great amount, to which she tried to keep him as calm as possible in any way she could, whether it be holding his hand back when he grabbed hers, squeezing his knee reassuringly every now and then or simply just every now and then laying her head on his shoulder.

When they did eventually arrive at the barn, she looked out the window and wondered where the hell they were but it seemed Dean had beaten her to it when it came to actually asking Bobby. She listened to the answer, glad that they didn't skip on anything to make sure that whatever it was the two of them were about summon with her nearby but far enough to be safe. As Dean opened his door, she did too and stepped out of the truck looking over the surrounding area. With both men finishing what they had to say, she nodded, "I've spotted a safe spot I can be whilst you both do this, I'll be close enough to hear you both and whatever you summon but far enough away to be safe." she replied.

"I'll come in to keep watch as you finish up the prep then I'll get out the way as promised" she told Dean, knowing how much he didn't want her there for her own safety deep down but there was no way she was going to elt him do this without her.

SAM WINCHESTER AND NATALIA

"I tried to keep her safe! I tried!" Sam pratically cried at Cason and was about to tell everyone what happened when there was a gust of air and the sound of fluttering wings, making him look up to see someone he didn't know and wondered how the hell they got in. The door wasn't open, nor were any windows and the guy didn't seem like a demon like Cason, but whoever they were they seemingly scared the living shit out of Cason, which he would have revelled in if Annabeth wasn't dead on his hotel room bed and he wanted answers for who this person was whilst going on a massive rant.

The man's screaming made Sam stand up and look at him through tear filled eyes with confusion and anger that he spouting off about wanting to kill her himself. "you stay away from her!" he threatened but it seemed his threats were of no use as SAmael walked over and started touching Annabeth's head. Then this guy called him by his full name which just pissed him off even more, "You don't get to call me that" he sneered at him, trying to get between SAmael and Annabeth, even in her death he wanted to protect her. "and I didn't fail!" he added.

"you son of a bitch" Natalia finally spoke up, expressing as much venom she could in her, not liking how this douchebag was talking to her brother and acting like the big shot in the room. Cason's fear of the being didn't go amiss and she had to know who he was and know now. "Who do you even think you are!?" she spat, clenching her fists tightly, trying so hard to not just rush at the guy on principle. She glanced around at Sam and Esme, seeing that no one else was seeming to be doing anything as she couldn't see what Cason was doing, but could see his hands fidgeting somewhat behind his back. Oh she REALLY wanted to punch this new guy but she needed to try and find a decent enough reason to do so because she didn't want to make things worse. Even though what he said about Annabeth angered her greatly.

Then suddenly in came Benjamin out of nowhere and wondering what was going on. Everything was seemingly running at a hundred miles an hour and she could barely keep up. She heard Benjamin's threats and wondered what he was thinking, just teleporting in here and threatening an unknown being!? This guy was crazy! "Benjamin calm the fuck down!" she barked, as she saw Sam trying to equally figure out what was going on, when she found herself blinking as Benjamin just threw Cason out the window making her slap her hand against her head.

Dean Winchester

Dean nodded to Mika, stepping over to her and reaching for her hand, squeezing it tightly for a second before releasing her and looking around at all the sigils on the walls. He turned his face to Bobby, “What do we need to do, to finish all this…?”

Bobby simply shrugged, and pointed at a bowl that set atop an old work bench, “Blood. Hair. You choose. But we gotta get moving…”

Dean nodded, and pulled his knife, knowing that blood magic was a lot more powerful than a simple strand of hair. He quickly walked over to the work bench, seeing that Bobby had already laid out the greatest hits of weapon choices they had. He gently picked up Ruby’s knife and stared at it for a few seconds, before Bobby cleared his throat.

“Yeah. I got it…”, Dean whispered, squeezing the blade in his palm and slicing it over the bowl with a growl. He hated cutting his hands, but at least they healed quickly. He let the blood soak the herbs and pieces of bone that Bobby had assembled in the bowl, and then quickly wrapped his hand in a bandana he pulled from his back pocket.

“Well. Here goes nothin’. You ready?”, Bobby asked, clicking his tongue at Mika and tossing her a sawed off shotgun. He picked up his own rifle as Dean leaned into a fighting stance with Ruby’s knife.

“As ready as I’m gonna be…”, Dean muttered.

Bobby began speaking clearly in Latin, running his finger along the page of a book he had propped up on the table. As he finished the short passage of Latin, he looked up at the ceiling, picking up a match. He struck the match against the table, and dropped it into the bowl.

Nothing.

“…Did it work?”, Dean asked, his eyes wide as he looked around the room. Everything was silent. Bobby simply shrugged at him, before the building began to rumble and the roof planks began to rise and fall loudly. The electricity came in and out, and Dean stood, the knife out in front of him as the front door to the barn began to rumble.

Samael and Cason

Cason groaned loudly as his back slammed into the window and then the ground below the window. That was unexpected. Groaning, he sat up, snapped his fingers and appeared back in the room, even if it was the last place he wanted to be with an angel. He raised his hand, ready to slap it on his little drawing, while glaring at Benjamin.

Samael laughed grimly at Sam, “How noble of you…you have no idea what I am. I mean, how could you? Your kind, at least in this world, haven’t laid eyes on my kind, that you can remember…”

As the witch showed up, Samael raised both his eyebrows, amazed by what was standing in front of him, “A witch. How…interesting. Darling, I hope you don’t think that your ‘magic’ is anything I’m particularly fearful of. I have dealt with your kind before. A mild annoyance, but, I’ll deal.”

Samael simply snapped his fingers, and pointed at a nearby chair, causing Benjamin to sit in it.

“Move…and I’ll tear your forcefield to shreds and burn your heart from inside your chest. I have business. Particular business.”

He turned to the others in the room, seeing Esme seeming nervous and almost in pain, as well as Natalia who was being snarky toward him. He waved his hand, “If everyone can just calm themselves down…that would be lovely.”

He pressed Natalia, Esme and Sam’s arms to their sides and sighed, “Better. Now…to business.”

With his right hand, he reached down, touching Annabeth’s forehead gently. Watching her intently, he smiled when her eyes shot open and she let out a loud gasp, as her neck repaired itself. She looked up at him with wide eyes, and he smiled back at her, as if he was her savior.

“There’s my girl…”, he whispered, rubbing the side of her face gently. He looked up at Sam, his eyes turning to an intense glare as he did so, “Take a look at the man who got you killed, love. Give him a good…hard…look. I want you to know, all of this is his fault. I’m sorry.”

Annabeth cut her eyes to Sam, where he stood bound and her eyes begged him to help her, “Sam? Sam what’s going on?”

Still staring at Sam, he ran a finger down her chest, her skin searing as he did so, causing a loud scream to leave her throat. As she screamed, every piece of glass in the room shattered. Samael shielded his vessels eyes and stared down at her.

“Wow!”, he laughed maniacally, doing the action again, which caused part of the ceiling to crack. Another caused the air around them to become hot. Samael continued laughing, but quickly realized that her skin being removed was not causing her enough harm, “And that is disappointing. You should be nearly dead by now, darling. A lowlife demon was able to snap your neck and I…can’t simply torture you without you bringing this entire building down around all of us. I don’t know if my brothers would appreciate not being able to kill the young Sam Winchester themselves. So, unfortunately…”

Sighing, he rolled his eyes, glared at Sam one more time, and pressed his palm to her forehead. Her eyes, nostrils, and mouth lighting up a bright orange, and her skin burned brightly.

Cason recognized what was happening, the light leaving her face shocking him out of his trance of shock and horror at her being sliced on. His hands were shaking as he scooted over to the table and slapped his hand against the sigil. A bright blinding light pierced every corner of the room as the angel screamed and disappeared, not even having time to make anymore remarks.

Annabeth continued to sob, her hands coming up to grip her face, and shield her eyes in agony as she laid on the bed, curling up into a ball. She didn’t even notice that she was bleeding badly from the missing skin on her chest, her eyes. She couldn’t see…

Her skin was still scorching hot to the touch and the glow was toning down.

SAM AND NATALIA WINCHESTER

Sam looked at Samael as he spoke to him with such an air of arrogance that if it was a punch it would have floored him easily but luckily for him it wasn't a punch and was just pure arrogance, arrogance that reminded him of what Demons had. Yet there was no way this guy was a demon, not if what he said was actually true anyway. With Benjamin's words making Samael turn his attention to him, SAm wondered if this would be an opening to get the upper hand but things were still moving far too quickly. How was this guy keeping the upper hand!? It made no sense to him, he just wanted to grieve Annabeth or find another way of bringing her back but he couldn't do anything in peace it seemed. He felt like if it wasn't for Ruby sending him to the damn school none of this would have happened and Annabeth would still be alive.

He looked at the girls seeing how much Natalia wanted to go into fight mode, shaking his head at her discreetly to signal not to do anything brash but she just couldn't just stand back and watch. Especially when this Samael guy was being an incredibly smug son of a bitch. "Oh you son of a----" she sneered and was just about rush at him to punch him in his face when she felt her arms get binded to her sides, with no hope of being able to lift them. She hated that she could do nothing but watch on with everyone else as Annabeth suddenly got ressurected with just a touch of Samael's finger to her forehead.

Sam couldn't believe what he was witnessing, seeing Annabeth come back to life with a gasp and eyes shooting wide open. He looked between Annabeth and Samael as he tried to process what was going on, whilst he glared back at Samael not approving of being blamed for her death. It wasn't his fault, was it? He didn't know if he should be blaming himself as this was now two epople blaming him. "I don't know Annabeth, but I'm trying to help you, I am" he said to her, tears threatening to fall down his cheeks once more, feeling utterly helpless. He just wanted to get to her but he couldn't, completely stuck and bound to the place where he stood, as he struggled to fight against the invisible bind on his arms at his sides.

As the torture began on Annabeth, Sam screamed and begged Samael to stop hurting her as he fought against the binds more but couldn't break free. He tried to shield himself by squatting down on the ground and tilting his head forward to try and protect his head, as did Natalia as the glass and ceiling began to crack and shatter around them from Annabeth's power. As Samael paused his torture to speak to Annabeth and mentioned about demons, Natalia looked toward her brother wide eyed and then proceeded with the look of 'we need to talk if we survive this' which Sam tried to ignore. He knew his sister wouldn't let this drop if they got through this.

When it wouldn't just stop Sam kept shouting and begging the angel to stop torturing Annabeth, tears flowing down his cheeks like waterfalls, his body starting to shake in fear and anger of not being in control whatsoever. He hated seeing and hearing her sob feeling so useless right now, especially when the light started to escape her but it was when Cason slammed his hand on the wall and the blinding flashing white light filled the room, did he and Natalia then shield their eyes by looking down at the ground and closing their eyes tightly shut. When the light disappeared, they felt the release on their arms and sighed with relief that they were even alive still. Sam ran to Annabeth's side, wanting to go and touch her but something told him not to, "Annabeth??" he questioned, his tone already asking for his vocal chords to ask if she was okay.

"What the hells was that?" Natalia asked, looking primarily at Cason and Benjamin as it seemed they both knew what Samael was.

"That was a corrupt Angel, Samael."
"He wants to kill Sam and Dean or something. I wasn't sure. I got the vision to get here as soon as I can, since I didn't know if Samael would just kill you all."
"Unfortunately, he had more power than even I could imagine. I was powerless to stop him once I got his attention." Benjamin looked nervous, hoping they wouldn't ask him about him being a witch.

Cason and AnnaBeth

Annabeth heard Sam’s voice, reaching out for him. She couldn’t see anything, and didn’t know if she even wanted to try and open her eyes, or if she even still had eyes.

“Sam?”, she asked in the direction of his face. Her hand finally found his wrist, the heat calmed down enough that it wouldn’t seriously burn his skin, but was still hot to the touch. She uncovered her face completely to reveal that she had no eyes, “I can’t see…I can’t see anything…”

Cason gasped for air, leaning forward with his hands on his knees as the angel sigil worked. He was shocked, but also relieved as he tried to catch his breath to assess the aftermath. When Natalia asked what the hell had happened, Cason simply looked up at her and sighed, “Angel. That…was an angel. I know. Let it sink in.”

Cason then turned to Benjamin and glared, “And you. If you ever…EVER raise a hand to me again, I will turn you into burger meat before you can snap your pretty little fingers. I could have prevented this! Witches…”

He trailed off, staring over at Annabeth with angry tears pricking the corners of his eyes. He shook himself free of what he assumed was a human emotion and pushed away from the wall he stood by, wiping the remaining blood from his palm onto his jeans.

He ran into the bathroom, grabbing all the towels he could find and brought them back into the room, crawling onto the bed. He gave Sam a look, letting him know he meant no harm to him, at the moment, since she was alive. He just wanted to keep her that way.

“Roll this way sweetheart…”, he whispered to Annabeth, pulling her body toward him. As he did so, a stream of blood squirted from her chest, onto the bed in front of Sam, soaking into his jeans. She squeezed Sam’s arm a little harder, gritting her teeth. Cason winced, as Annabeth cried out, careful to not cause anymore damage than necessary, “I know. I know. Shh. You’re okay. We got you…”

He pressed one of the towels to her chest for a second to see how bad the cuts were, only to realize they were nearly as deep as a hellhound attack, which he was intimately familiar with. He brought a bloody hand up and pinched the bridge of his nose, wracking his brain for ways to fix this.

“S-Sam. This might be…I don’t know what to do. We may have to think about a hospital…”, he muttered to Sam, knowing the hospital wouldn’t know what to do with her, necessarily either, “How good are you with a needle and thread?”

Esme Stirling

Esme continued to hold her head and chest as Sam and Samael went back and forth. She was growing tired of the way Samael spoke about Annabeth and acted like a big shot. Her eyes cut over to Natalia when she snapped at Samael, then slowly landed back on him. She could see just how bad Natalia wanted to rush and punch him, but now was not the time for rash decisions, especially when they had no idea what this guy was. From where she stood, she couldn’t really see much of Cason, but saw a bit of his fidgeting and knew Samael had him scared.

Hell, he had her a little scared, mostly because she wasn’t sure what he was. At the sudden appearance of Benjamin, it diverted her attention to him. She watched him with wide eyes as he confronted Samael. He’s crazy! she thought to herself as he launched Cason out the window. Samael didn’t seem to be fazed by Benjamin’s appearance, which didn’t come as a surprise, but seemed to be amused by him. After Samael made his comment, and forced Benjamin to sit in a chair, she realized this guy was a force all his own.

She barely had time to process anything when her arms had suddenly pinned to her sides after he made a comment and looked at her. She tried to fight against the hold, but it was no use. All she could do was watch as he touched Annabeth’s forehead to resurrect her, which shocked her greatly. She knew what Samael was telling Annabeth was a lie. She knew it wasn’t Sam’s fault that he had died. She watched him act as if he was her savior for bringing her back from the dead, then cut a glare over at Sam. She could see this was all to get at Sam, to push him to his limit.

But what happened next, she didn’t see it coming and she should have. Torture. Annabeth's scream cut through the air like a warm knife through butter. Esme clinched her teeth and shut her eyes as the scream rang in her ears, along with Sam’s screams and begging. It was all she could do not to scream along with Annabeth as tears now streamed down her face. She heard the ceiling cracking above her and glass shattering, but she dared not open her eyes and look at that moment. The next scream to leave Annabeth felt as it was ripping through her entire body as the room's temperature changed.

Esme felt as if her head were going to explode and her chest was on fire and she was shaking. It was all getting to be too much for her, and she felt absolutely helpless to do anything to stop it. She finally forced her eyes open when Samael stopped his torturing of Annabeth to speak to them once again. What happened next caused her eyes to go wide in horror as well as her face go pale. She watched helplessly as Samael placed his hand on Annabeth's forehead and light shone from her face. Esme couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She completely missed Cason slamming his hand down on the table.

At the blinding light and Samael’s scream, she closed her eyes tight till it faded and she could move once more. She slightly stumbled forward as she looked around trying to process what happened and listened to the talk in the room. “Angel?” she softly whispered, not expecting anyone to hear her. “So, they really do exist.” she continued in a whisper. She brought her right hand to her still burning chest, her eyes now landing on Sam, Annabeth, and Cason. When she saw the poor girl's state, she had to hold back her gasp.

She winced at the girl's pain and as blood escaped the wounds on her chest. She slowly walked over to the foot of the bed to the three of them. “If neither of you are able.” she spoke to Sam and Cason in a light tone. “I can do my best to stitch her up.”

SAM AND NATALIA

Natalia listened to what Benjamin and Cason both said. Was Samael seriously an Angel!? They actually existed!? To say that Natalia's mind was blown was a bit of an understand, demons and everything else that went bump into the night she could have believed but Angels? It seemed utterly crazy to her for some unknown reason, despite it really being an obvious thing if demons existed. There couldn't be one without the other and it was said that Lucifer himself was a fallen Angel after all. But now they had faced one for themselves it just seemed so mindboggling to her. "Well bugger me sideways..." she muttered, running a hand through her hair before refocusing her eyes on what was happening with Annabeth and Sam. She watched as Sam tried to talk with Annabeth and when she revealed she had no eyes in her eye sockets she couldn't help but gasp and cover her mouth whilst going wide eyed. "What the hell?" she breathed in a whisper, wondering how they were going to get passed this. It broke her heart seeing Sam in such a state.

Sam let her take his wrist, gritting his teeth slightly as he felt the heat coming from her skin, but it still wasn't enough to make him shrug her off of him in a quick motion. He let her keep a hold of him, seeing how much fear and worry she was in as tears flooded down his cheeks seeing the injuries she was in. He didn't even care that Cason came over and tried to help her by moving her toward and away from himself. "It's okay Annabeth, I'm here, I'm not going anywhere" he tried to reassure her but he wasn't even sure he was even reassuring himself at this stage. He watched on as Cason tried to think of a way of helping her, but just making her more in pain. At the suggestion of taking her to the hospital he vigorously shook his head, "No...we can't, it's not like we can say an Angel did this to her is it?" he replied back to him. He was about to add that he was perfectly capable of stitching her up, but his emotions were far too out of whack to do it coherently. When Esme walked up to them all and said she could do it he actually sighed with relief.

"Thank you Esme" he told her, patting Annabeth's hand and gently let go of her so he could make room for Esme to come and do her job sufficently. He stepped back away frm the bed, naturally drifting toward his sister who instantly wrapped her arms round him and rubbed his back. She didn't say a word, just tried to be there for him silently.

Esme Stirling

Esme gave a weak smile in return to Sam’s words. “You’re welcome.” she managed to say as he passed her. Before moving to the bedside, she walked over to the table to get the kit that was still sitting there from earlier. She reached out with shaky hands and placed them on the kit. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and slowly released it. Come on Esme. Get a hold of yourself. she told herself. You are stronger than this. Don’t let this gift or curse get the better of you.

Opening her eyes, she picked up the kit, along with her tweezers, that had been left there, and went back over to the bed. She sat everything on the bedside table before taking a hold of Annabeth’s hand and sitting down on the bed. “Don’t you worry Annabeth. I’ll have you patched up in no time.” she told her warmly. Esme then set Annabeth’s hand down on the bed and got everything she needed ready, like preparing the needle and thread and bandages she would need. Once done, she scooted closer to take care of the wounds, but paused for a moment.

She took Annabeth’s hand and placed it on her left arm. “Don’t be afraid to squeeze if you need to.” she told her. She then set to cleaning up the wounds so she could see exactly what she was working with. Esme tried not to shudder or wince when she saw the true damage. Taking a breath, she patted Annabeth’s hand to signal she was going to begin stitching her up. The weak smile that was on her lips faded. Her features took on a look of concentration, and it was clear she was taking great care in what she was doing and trying to not cause too much pain.

She had stitched up plenty of wounds in the past, some of them almost as bad as this one, but not as deep. It took her a bit of time to stitch up the first wound. “One down, one to go.” she whispered. She leaned up a moment to stretch out her back, then used the back of her wrist to wipe her forehead. Before setting to work on the other, she looked at Annabeth and inwardly sighed, knowing how much pain she was in. She then did something she hadn’t done for anyone in a long time.

Esme moved the needle and thread to her left hand so she could place her right hand on top of Annabeth’s, which rested on her arm. Esme closed her eyes and began to heal Annbabeth’s wounds, but not physically. She was drawing her pain into herself, or at least as much as she could. She held back the gasp and cries of pain that tried to escape her as she felt the pain consume her. Esme opened her eyes once more and set to work on the other wound.

Cason and Annabeth

Annabeth tried to keep hold of Sam’s arm, as he spoke to Cason. Cason growled, attempting to keep pressure on her chest as she cried and yelped at random intervals. He became a slight bit concerned by a trickle of blood that ended up falling slowly from her nose. That could have either been a result of an extreme explosion of power, or because of internal injuries. He begged for the former.

He looked up at Sam before he pulled away, “I know about angels…but when this is overwith, and she’s okay…me and you. We’re going to talk. Alone.”

He watched him move away from Annabeth, giving him a tear filled sneer as he watched him. His eyes were jet black, from stress and being so close to an angel. He sniffled, showing a slight bit of soul in the demon, to the others as he stared down at her.

“You’re okay, darlin’. I got you.”, he shushed her as he watched Esme start to work. Annabeth was reaching around, her hands trying to find Sam as she did so. Her brain was wanting his calm. Cason grabbed one of her hands, as Esme made her self known by touching the other. He kissed Annabeth’s forehead here and there, trying to forget that her eyes were completely gone, and hard for him to look at, in place of her normal baby blues.

Annabeth squeezed Esme’s arm, her palm heating up a tiny bit against Esme’s skin with every knot that was tied in her skin. Cason could feel his face heating up every time a knot was tied, as well, which was mostly because of Annabeth’s stress and pain.

When Esme began healing Annabeth a bit with her mind, he narrowed his eyes at her and asked, “What the hell are you doing?”

He then stopped the stare and glanced over at Benjamin, “Aren’t you a witch? Witches do healing stuff all the time, within their ranks. So, you wanna help…fix her.”

Wincing as he took his eyes down to her face, he kissed her forehead again and snapped his fingers, a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers landing in his palm as he did so. He unfolded them, and gently put the mover her eyes.

“Now you look badass. Badass glasses. Badass scars…”, Cason joked with Annabeth as he waited for Esme to finish the second round of stitches or for Benjamin to decide to be useful. Either way, he was doing his best to keep her calm.

She smirked briefly, turning her head toward where she could feel Sam standing. With the healing Esme had done, she could see clearly the situation that originally put them in danger. She softly, and with a shudder, spoke, “It’s not your fault, you know…I don’t blame you.”

"Why yes. I can help. Maybe even fix the eyes." Waving his hands around her face, he cast his spell. . . "Vitalum Vitalis. . . " Her body would heal, but her eyes would not regenerate. "Unfortunately, I can't heal your eyes. They are gone."
"I can, however, give you my reading glasses. With them you can see color and shapes, and generally know where the things you see are located."
"It would be like watching 1930's to 1950's television everywhere you go, but it's better than nothing."

"Ahem, oh, and coincidentally, thank you for not calling the Spanish Inquisition on me for being a witch." He was going to get ready and attempt to get away if there was going to be trouble.

Esme Stirling

Esme had heard Cason ask his question as she healed Annabeth, but had chosen not to answer him. Mostly because she was trying to concentrate on what she was doing and because she felt she really didn’t have to answer. She was just about to make the first stitch on the second wound when Cason spoke to Benjamin. She paused at his words and looked over her shoulder at Benjamin to see what he’d do, missing the whole appearance of the Ray Bans but not the words Cason spoke to Annabeth. When he confirmed he could help, she inwardly sighed. She wouldn’t admit it aloud, but she was glad he stepped in to heal her, even though she wished he would have done it sooner.

She watched as he made his way over, said a spell, and healed her. Esme couldn’t help but inspect where the wounds had been as he spoke . She could just barely make out the light scar left behind. She then looked at Annabeth and placed her hand that still rested on her arm and gave it a small friendly squeeze. “Looks like he fixed you up pretty well.” she said warmly. “I’ll be back in a bit.” she told her as she stood from the bed. “I’m going to go clean up.” Gathering everything she used and the kit, Esme headed into the bathroom.

Once there, she sat everything down on the toilet set and cracked the door behind her, just hearing Benjamin’s last words. She turned and walked to the sink, placing a hand on both sides and leaning against it as she looked into the cracked mirror. When she looked at the reflection, she hardly recognized the person looking back at her. She was pale, dishevelled, and the dark circles under eyes were slightly more visible than they were earlier. Sighing heavily, she turned on the water and cleaned up.

“What a hell of a day this has been.” she whispered as she cleaned up. She then put everything away, feeling herself coming down from everything now she was away from everyone. She made it back to the sink and clung to it, feeling herself become lightheaded and weak. “Come on. Hang in there.” she whispered to herself. She breathed slowly, trying to get herself through it.

SAM AND NATALIA

At Cason's command he just nodded, "Fine..." he simply replied before he walked away and to Natalia.

Sam hated that he was walking back from Annabeth but he knew he'd need to if Esme to be able to have space to work. "It's okay Annabeth, I'm still here, Esme just needs space to work" he reassured her as he let Natalia for once, be there for him as well. He could tell she was just as worried about Annabeth even if she didn't know she was the kid he once met when he was a teenager He just hoped that Esme would be able to do something about Annabeth's injuries as it honestly reminded him when when he was a teenager and she had to cover up her wrists with bandanas and bandages due to all kinds of wounds. It just brought forward to his mind how much he regretted letting her run off as a kid and not come back with him, even if she refused to go back.

He couldn't believe that until she swept his hair behind his ear in the school that he didn't recognise her or remember who she was, but he had remembered he wanted to do right by her, even if it meant letting someone else try and stitch her up and heal her in some way. He just wished he knew how he could fix her eyes, seeing her without those bright blue eyes in her eye sockets was breaking him in two, which was only being emphasised by the fact he could see almost see the fear in her, eyes or not. He watched on as Cason did his best to try and keep Annabeth calm whilst Esme worked, but his curiousity got piqued when it seemed Esme was using some kind power to heal Annabeth instead after the first cut was stitched up.

"What the....?" he openly asked in curiosity, trying to ignore the fact Cason was looking desperate for answers and even barking angrily at Benjamin, which Benjamin replying, confirming he was able to heal Annabeth. There was so much going on, his mind could barely keep up. It felt like the world was spinning passed him and he just couldn't gran ahold and go in time with it all. All he felt was Natalia's hands rubbing his back and sqieezing his hand reassuringly to try and keep him stable. THen Cason made some ray ban sunglasses appear with the click of a finger, an action he was used to Ruby using and he had to admit to himself that they did suit Annabeth. Yet nothing seemed to truly calm him until Annabeth told him it wasn't his fault. "I....Just focus on you" he replied to her, stammering to find the right words before just sighing and saying what he did.

Both of them watched as Esme walked to the bathroom to clean up and take a moment out which neither could truly blame her for doing. Natalia felt like she needed about six of the strongest alcoholic drinks minimum to just drown out the day and relax but was convinced it'd be a while before she could do that. She also didn't want to get drunk incase Sam needed her, so she felt incredibly torn on how to handle this situation. Eventually she turned Benjamin, "right you need to explain yourself, you're a witch?!" she questioned him, seeing as there wasn't much else she could do. Sam however walked back to Annabeth and perched on the edge of the bed, taking her hand, "it's just me" he told her.

"Sorcerer or Mage is probably a better word, but yes, as witch is a unisex term, you are correct."
"Technically when I told you I was psychic it was the truth. However, I'm also a witch, and witches generally don't have much of a positive reputation, if you get my meaning."
"Scores of demons have been trying to take me out since last year. I had some visions about the Winchester brothers ever since then, and I knew I needed to get in touch with them if I wanted to survive."
"The truth is not all witches are evil old women or black magic practicing weirdos. Some, or even many of us are but it's not the reality for all of us."

Castiel

The search for Dean Winchester was over, at last he could begin his mission. The best part about this was that he didn't even have to locate the Winchester now that he had the appropriate form. Instead he was being summoned to their location, he could feel it in the core of his being the summoning of him to a location.

Uriel was right about the Winchesters, about all humans really. He stated they were not one's to sit around & wait. His exact words had been more so along the lines of these hairless apes don't know the meaning of patience. Not like them at least, cosmic soldiers of the father of creation who were able to stand guard & dormant for centuries awaiting their next mission. Awaiting the next instructions in their celestial mission to cleanse the world of it's greatest evils that plagued it. This path he was assigned to was now the reason the ritual was calling him to the location of the older winchster brother.

It's time, this meeting should serve to be far more productive then our last as this visage is one that will bring you no harm neither from it's sound or appearance. With that he was gone on his way to the destination. A show of power followed his manifestation in the area. The very barn itself shook violently at the sheer power that flowed from the divine warrior no doubt alerting the humans inside.

There he was in Novak's body finally about to get this mission on the road. His heightened senses allowed him to pick up on the fact that there were not one nor two but three mortals within the confines of this dwelling. He could feel all sorts of magically enhanced sigils around & within the location made to ward off a wide myriad of supernatural creatures. Unfortunately none of them would have any effectiveness at stopping this warrior of thursday. Using nothing but a flex of his power the barn doors swung open and slowly the angel in the trench-coat stepped forward.

Bang Pop Sizzle

One by one the various lights illuminating the barn exploded, glass shattering as a mere side effect of his divine power. Whether or not the humans instinctively flexed or shielded themselves from the glass being flung from the exploding lights that illuminated the barn had no bearing on him what-so-ever. If he intended to bring the Winchester or his allies harm, there was truly nothing in their possession currently that would be of any use in stopping him.

An aura of utter & absolute calmness radiated from the soldier as he stepped through the devil's trap that had been drawn right at the entrance of the bar. Unlike the many demons they had combatted over the years the trap had zero effect on this entity indicating that he was not of demonic origin. There in-front of of his eyes lay the man that he'd raised out of the pit on orders from the Heavenly Host. As he continued stepping forward slowly but methodically there was but one thought on his mind as he continued in his approach, that he had a message of upmost importance to deliver to Dean Winchester.

"Hello Dean, we need to talk. I am the one who gripped you tight & raised you from perdition."

Cason

Cason stood from the side of the bed where he had been sitting, glancing down at Annabeth one more time, as Sam stepped up to be near her. With her chest wounds healed, she seemed a bit calmer than before. He pulled his bloody hands up in front of his face, before turning toward the bathroom.

“I’ll be back. I trust that you can handle her for five seconds, this time…”, he muttered at Sam, before entering the bathroom behind Esme. He raised an eyebrow at her appearance, almost wanting to reach out to make sure the poor girl didn’t smash her face on the tile, but his hands were covered in blood, “Um. I need the sink for a second. Are you gonna make it? I owe you one…”

Annabeth

Annabeth touched her chest, which was now just covered in blood with no real wounds visible to account for the blood. She took a deep and shuddered breath, thankful that most of the pain seemed to go away. Even the pain in her eyes seemed to go away, for the most part, other than the pain of her brain not understanding there were no eyes.

As she felt Sam’s presence and touch once more, she gave a weak smile, squeezing his hand, not quite aware of the amount of blood she was smearing on him.

“Hey…”, she whispered weakly, “Are you okay? I didn’t see much of what happened at the school, but they didn’t hurt you, did they?”

She sat up carefully, pulling her hand away from him long enough to place it on the bed below her and pull herself from the sticky sheets. Now that she was eye to eye with Sam (as much as she could be with his size), she could sense his shape in front of her. It wasn’t quite like seeing, but rather a faint shape of him, and his hair, and a bright blue illuminating behind him. Smirking, she reached out and ran a mostly dry finger down his cheek, to emphasize her worry for him.

Dean Winchester

Dean covered his head, staring as best he could through the damage coming down around them as the being forced the door open and began walking in. As each light shattered above, and the sparks began to reveal a man, Dean’s mind went into overdrive, attempting to figure out what weapon to attack this thing with first.

He shuddered with a slight fear, holding Ruby’s knife tightly in his hand. As the man approached him, and got close enough, Bobby shot the man in the back with a shotgun. The blast did absolutely nothing. Dean stared at Bobby with wide eyes.

Bobby nodded to him, with equally wide eyes, trailing his eyes down to the knife as the man spoke. Dean mustered up every ounce of courage he had, and stepped forward, shoving the knife into the man’s heart. Also realizing it wasn’t doing anything. He narrowed his eyes, before gasping.

“What the hell are you?”

Esme Stirling

Esme closed her eyes as she leaned against the sink, still breathing slowly. She felt Cason come up behind her, but said nothing as he stood there for a moment. She focused on her breathing until he spoke to her, which caused a slight smirk to appear on her lips. Taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes and slowly pushed herself away from the sink, then staggered back into a wall, her smirk disappearing. She leaned against the wall and focused on Cason while also focusing on standing.

“I’ll be fine.” she told him, her tone a bit stronger than a whisper. “You owe me one?” she questioned, a laugh almost forming in her tone as she watched him. “How is it you owe me?” she continued with a raised brow. A demon saying they owed one to a hunter. That was something she never thought she’d ever hear.

Castiel

"My name is Castiel" The angel replied before effortlessly pulling Ruby's knife out his chest & dropping it to the floor. He then raised his hand causing a flare of white light to surge forward while a brief phrase of the enochian language was heard audibly. The white light rendered both Bobby & Mika unconscious, causing both to collapse to the ground. "And we need to talk alone." He continued with very little emotion or concern for the power he unleashed on Dean's allies.

Dean stared in shock at the man who had just introduced himself as 'Castiel', before watching the knife fall to the floor loudly. His body jumped a bit as the noise made its way around the barn. His shock was matched and exceeded as Castiel knocked Mika and Bobby out with some sort of power. Gasping, he turned back to him and pointed a finger.

"If you hurt them I swear. Now...smartass. WHAT are you?", he yelled toward the smaller man, almost in a growl.

"Your friends are fine, I have no ill will towards them or any reason to hurt them." Castiel continued on calm as ever un-perturbed by Dean's overcharged emotional reaction. Harming his friends would go against his mission and following orders was something he was very good at. "As for me Dean, I am an angel of the lord." Castiel retorted with power emanating from his voice.

Dean narrowed his eyes, glaring at Castiel as he spoke about not having a reason to hurt his friends. He rubbed a hand along his brow before his eyes went wide again at the admission that Castiel was an angel.

"An angel of the lord. There's no such thing.", he muttered, his eyes not leaving the eyes of the angel.

For the first time since the conversation started Dean's words had an effect on the angel who inched a slight bit closer to Dean and raised an eyebrow. "That's the problem with you Dean, you have no faith." Right as he spoke the loud booming of thunder was heard followed by a flash of lightning roaring from the sky above allowing the hunter to witness the black silhouette of his wings..

Dean scoffed at the angel's words as the lightning began flashing and he witnessed his wings, his eyes widening in awe. He squinted at the light, and his mouth fell open, before his stern face returned and he nearly growled, "And why would an angel Save me from Hell, hmm?"

Castiel could tell Dean was shocked & startled by the showcasing of his wings, from what he knew the hunter had encountered many supernatural creatures, & situations yet angels were something that he had a hard time grasping the reality of. "It's simple Dean, because God commanded it, because he has work for you." the angel concluded with a sternness in his voice.

Dean sighed, his hand once again coming to his forehead, as a massive headache was brewing from the news. He laughed sadly from behind his hand, "Work. Work for me. Why would God have work for me? That doesn't make sense. I mean...it's God. And I'm assuming by you being here, God is real?"

"Of course my father is real Dean, this is no longer a matter of what you believe or don't believe. The fact of the matter is I was ordered to lift yout of the pit because of what you are needed for. Is your doubt because you don't feel worthy? Believe it or not good things DO happen," Castiel said in response to Dean's questions about the existence of God & whatever work he had planned for him.

Dean smirked and closed his eyes, "Yeah...well not in my experience. Good things happen to make the bad things seem worse. But I'll admit, we could use a win, right now. Other than me being out of Hell, there's a lot of bad. So, what does God want me to do to fix all this."

He waved his hand around, gesturing he was talking about all of the worlds problems. He then scoffed again, "Oh that's right. You conveniently don't know..."

Castiel glared at Dean he was not a fan of his snark or attitude. That was something that was not included in his briefing about this mission. The audacity of him to question not only him but the creator who had took it upon himself to offer Dean mercy and relinquish his eternal torment in damnation. "Well in your experience up until now, as getting released from the fiery chains of hades is something i'm sure many many other souls in that realm would love to have. As for God's commands we will be in touch when more is required of you. For now I'd recommend to do what you do best & keep hunting, see you soon Dean." With that the angel vanished teleporting away accompanied by the fluttering of his wings.

NATALIA AND SAM

Natalia listened to what Benjamin had to say about what he was and from what he said she couldn’t help but smirk slightly and roll her eyes. The very idea that he thought he would feel safer and receive help from the Winchester family was quite frankly utterly hilarious to her. They had nothing but bad experiences with witches. Witches had nothing but try to hurt her brothers so she was dubious about Benjamin saying not all of them were bad. “oh we know they’re not all old women and the like but we also haven’t met a good witch, warlock, mage or whatever you wanna call yourself so call me skeptical if you’re gonna hang around myself and my brothers” she warned him.

Sam looked up when Cason decided he was going to be the one who would go after Esme but when he just felt he had to make one last dig at him verbally about looking after Annabeth, he narrowed his eyes at him giving the look that said ‘not the time’ then looked back down at Annabeth. He saw her touch her chest which made him look even more sadly at her, feeling bad that she had been put through such an ordeal because of him. He couldn’t see the very fact that if this Samael Angel wanted her and was after her anyway, it wouldn’t matter where she was or who she was with, she would have possibly ended up in the same situation or worse anyway. As she touched his face, he didn’t even care that she was smearing her blood on him, that could be wiped off later, as he closed his eyes reveling in her touch that he once knew as a kid. “I’m fine, I got rid of the demons and got us out of there” he told her, trying to keep his voice soothing but it was wavering. He took her hand in his and gave it a reassuring squeeze, hoping the action would help reinforce what he told her.

He helped her sit up and let her look at him, amazed at how she could muster even the smallest of smiles, but it brought one to his own lips as well. He then glanced around trying to find something to wipe clean her chest, when he decided to just rip the bottom of his shirt instead and use that as a makeshift towel. “I’m just gonna wipe some of this blood off of you okay?” he told her before placing the fabric of his shirt on her and wiping as much he possibly could without spreading it too much further on her. He could tell that from where Natalia was, she also giving him the look of ‘we need to talk about hoe you did that alone’ but for now he needed to ignore that.

MIKA CHAMBERS

She squeezed Dean’s hand back to him when he first squeezed hers, hoping that she was of some comfort to him even if he didn’t like her being around in the possible danger zone. Little did they both know that whether she was here in the barn or back at the pretty destroyed hotel room, both were what she would call a danger zone. She walked beside him when he walked up to Bobby and watched on as they went to finish the summoning spell, keeping ahold of the shotgun that Bobby had now put into her hands. She gave it a quick check over out of habit and when the men confirmed they were ready to do this, she stepped out of the way behind the table and other items in the barn. She recognized that Bobby was choosing an old Latin incantation to try which in her eyes was probably the best choice to go with.
When nothing seemed to happen at first she wondered if it even worked, just like Dean did until the shattering of lights and the doors to the barn bursting open along with what seemed like… thunder? Made them all cower to protect themselves from everything going haywire around them, making her feel like it was the hotel all over again.

She wondered what on earth it was that they summoned, she had to force herself to not move from her spot when a dishevelled man in a trenchcoat appeared claiming he was the one who pulled Dean out of Hell. She wanted more answers unlike Dean and Bobby who decided to shoot first. She did however aimed her shotgun in the direction of Castiel but she was going to remain the backup as promised to Dean.

When neither Bobby’s attempted attack of shooting the man worked and neither did Dean’s attempt of going at Castiel with Ruby’s knife, she went wide eyed wondering what the hell could take a demon killing knife to the chest and not even flinch. She raised her shotgun once more and was about to fire off a round or two when she watched Castiel raise his hand toward herself and Bobby. Next thing she was aware of was closing her eyes and dropping to the floor like a dead weight, just about missing the edge of the table with her head, only to have hit her head on the barrel of her shotgun when she landed on the floor, lightly cutting her forehead in the process.

Dean Winchester

Dean attempted to take in everything Castiel had said, even just in that last few sentences. He took a deep breath, and furrowed his brow, trying to maintain his look of defiance in the face of…well…God and his angels. It was something that almost made him laugh, internally.

Stepping forward, he planned to get a bit closer to the angel, maybe against his better judgement. However, as he stepped, the angel finished talking and disappeared with a loud flutter of wings. Dean raised his hands in defense of his face, briefly, before turning back to where the angel had stood.

He could barely breathe, after this insanity. He noticed Mika on the ground, turning toward her and then back toward Bobby. He decided on grabbing Mika first, as he saw Bobby stirring on his own.

“Bobby, you alright?”, he called out across the room at him. Bobby simply nodded as he sat up, checking his body for wounds or bruises. He was fine, but you can’t be too safe.

Running over to Mika, Dean skidded the last few feet on his knees, grabbing her face in his hands and lifting her head in front of his face, “Hey hey hey…Mika, you good? Look at me…”

They needed to regroup with Sam, and Natalia. Maybe even bring some of the strays into the group, as they could use all the hands they could find. He gripped a hand around the top of Mika’s arm, helping her up a bit, while also hugging her to him. He pressed his palm lightly against the cut on her forehead, “I got you…”

Cason

Cason watched Esme stagger around as he stepped into the small bathroom. She looked awful. But then again, human hunters always seemed to look under the weather. They were fragile, and thus, the reason he usually chose not to get close to, or really interact heavily with humans. He finished washing the blood off his hands, as best he could, and turned to her with a grin.

“Yeah. I feel like I owe you.”, he muttered, staring at her with a serious look. He cleared his throat after realizing he was staring, and felt a bit more relaxed than he had before, “I’m protecting that one you were sewing on, in there. Sadly…I think I’m attached to her, you know, human emotions. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but consider me in your debt.”

He shrugged, pressing his lips together to let her know he was serious, but didn’t know what she wanted to do with the information.

“Now. I’ll be right back…”, he muttered, stepping into the doorway of the bathroom, his hand out in front of Esme to try and help keep her from falling.

Annabeth

Annabeth took a deep breath and let it out slowly when Sam told her that he got out safely, and the demons were gone. She hadn’t been able to lay a good set of eyes on Sam, after what had happened. So, she wasn’t completely sure he was physically alright, until he confirmed it.

As he began cleaning the blood from her chest, she looked down at where he was wiping, instinctively. Once again, it hit her that she was mostly blind. In fact, she was blind, in the true sense of the word. But she could feel shapes and colors. She could feel Sam’s touch most of all.

She leaned her head back, allowing him room to clean her off as best he could. Hearing familiar footsteps, she reached out and touched his wrist as Cason lightly leaned through the door way of the bathroom.

“Because I would hate for everyone to die a horrible and mundane death, I am going to suggest that we pack up our shit…and go to a different hotel. This one isn’t in the greatest of shape.”, Cason spoke matter of fact, and raised his eyebrows, “I could get….say….two rooms? Three rooms? Sam what do you think?”

Annabeth held Sam’s wrist a little tighter as Cason spoke about leaving the hotel. She knew the room was in terrible shape, but she also knew that leaving could mean being split up, and she didn’t know if she was prepared to be alone with anyone…except Sam.

“I’ll ride with you.”, she whispered to Sam.
