Direct and decisive, the Baroness prides herself on having a calm, collected attitude no matter the situation. Her consummate professionalism makes her a favorite among her more refined clients while her ruthlessness makes her many friends in low places. She's relentless in her pursuit of a goal and will not stop until a job or task is complete, even to her own detriment, and never yields to any odds. She's cunning, cold, and calculating but ever polite to everyone she meets, including those she intends to remove from their mortal coil. Her emotions never get in the way of her work and she keeps her personal life entirely separate from her career as a matter of principle and slight paranoia. That being said, she does allow herself to cut loose now and again as a way to maintain her center and blow off steam so her work remains unaffected.

Aniya was not always the stone faced killer she is today. She started as the youngest of three being raised by a widowed mother who struggled to make ends meet and didn't always succeed. This was her and her family's life all the way into her teens and Aniya hated it in a way that ate at her soul. She hated wearing ratty clothes always too big or too small and going to bed hungry. Her anger was always boiling just beneath the surface and she had little patience for the daily grind of dealing with her peers at school. She quickly gained a bad reputation for her willingness to fight at the drop of a hat. Nothing her mother or brothers did could temper the fire in her gut.
It wasn't long before she gained the attention of an upperclassman known for being a delinquent. He told her he understood how she felt and he and some of his friends could help her if she helped them first. Without even thinking, she agreed. The plan they had in mind was armed robbery and Aniya was going to help them. The whole thing went off without a hitch and they grabbed enough loot and cash for every one in the crew to make off with a sizable chunk of money. There was no end to the questions when she brought home enough money to cover rent for the next four months. She dodged or refused to answer most of them and her family eventually gave up trying to learn specifics and just told her to not get involved in whatever she was doing. Of course she didn't listen and became heavily involved with who she came to learn was a group of mobsters' sons who put her in touch with a sponsor... of sorts. It took a lot of work, but eventually she gained the full trust of made man. Her family gave up on asking questions or trying to dissuade her and accepted the money she brought home with quiet resignation.
She became known for her loyalty, diligence, and aptitude for creative violence and soon became a favorite of the lower ring of mobsters. When you needed something done Aniya was someone you could depend on no matter what it was. This reputation earned her respect and many friendships as she rose through the ranks. Her biggest "promotion" came when one of the Don's inner circle took a liking to such a fierce and driven woman. They were married in just over a year and Aniya soon cut ties with her family. She saw them as ungrateful for the things she'd done for them and wanted nothing more to do with them.
Unfortunately, her perfect life was not to last for more than a few years. Her husband and a number of her friends were killed in a shootout with police after a drug deal turned out to be a sting operation. The loss was devastating, but she resolved to not let it drag her down. She still had duties to the family and they, to their credit, were very supportive of her during this time. Another incident a few months later when a member of the family snitched to police which led to several arrests proved to be the final straw for Aniya. She left her entire life behind suddenly and without warning, much to the anger of her former associates. There were numerous attempts on her life and every so often some hired goon takes a swing at her but she doesn't mind too much these days as it keeps her sharp.

- Rifle and Pistol Marksmanship: She much prefers to kill at range to avoid soiling her clothes.
- Hand to Hand Combat: Not an expert by any means, but she's picked up on some tricks and had people show her a few things. She'd probably still lose to anyone with serious martial arts training.
- "Enhanced Interrogation": It may violate a few international laws as well as requiring a rain jacket and medical gloves, but it works.

On the outside she seems curt to most, and a buzzkill to those she actually talks to. In Nadia's adolescent years her life may have seemed somewhat dull, but eventually became rather promising. Despite her mother being a single one and having to work multiple jobs to keep them afloat, she also managed to scrape together money to afford medical study for her young daughter. She'd always hoped the best for the young girl, and so made certain that she had a bright future ahead of her. And for the most part, she did a very fine job. After finishing primary education, Nadia seemed to adapt to medical studies extremely well, surpassing her fellow students despite her humble roots.
Although her mother was a very hardworking woman and didn't really have much time for many recreational activities, it didn't seem as though fate was particularly concerned with how full one's plate was. This showed in the form of a surprise romance in the single mother's life. While Nadia was studying her heart out to make her mom proud, the middle-aged mother quickly fell into a relationship with a man that eventually turned out to be an underboss of a Romanian Mob family. Not that this mattered much to Nadia's mother - the two seemed to be madly in love with one another.
Over the following years the two girls became quickly familiarized with the world of the Romanian Mob. While their lives had improved considerably, financially and mostly otherwise, as a result of their closeness to the Mob, not all was well. Nadia's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was a heartbreak to a few, but it was especially hard on Nadia - and it wasn't long before her mother fell to her illness. Nadia's studies suffered after her mother's passing, but she eventually managed to drag herself to graduation - and did so several years earlier than most, due to her substantial study ethic before the loss of her mother. She'd finally accomplished her mother's wishes, but it felt like a hollow victory.
After her mother's death, the newly-doctored young girl no longer felt a desire to be a doctor. Her MD meant.. nothing, to her, really. From others it earned some degree of reverence, but to her it was hardly more than a piece of paper. This sudden loss of path for her quickly lead her to seek the only other thing she really knew - the Mob. Unfortunately for her, her stepfather wouldn't allow it. He held an oath to her mother that he wouldn't subject her to the operations of the Mob any more than was absolutely necessary.
But this oath drove Nadia to take more dangerous measures. She betrayed the family which had taken care of her and her mother and sought another. Her Medical Doctorate being a well-sought asset among those who often met violence, sometimes on a daily basis, it wasn't hard for her to find a family to join. She stayed with the mob for a few years - developing a cold, no-bullshit personality - but eventually the new family that she'd found herself in fell apart at the hands of other, stronger families. Prominent figures were summarily executed, and it didn't seem as too many were spared. Nadia took the first chance she could to flee, and shipped herself away from Europe entirely, finding her way to America.

- M.D. - Being a doctor provides quite a bit of knowledge that can be extremely useful in this line of work. Not only can she patch wounds and inflict more debilitating ones, she can roleplay a local doctor pretty well.
- She has thorough knowledge within the realm of mob operations, and is hardened to the darkest actions of such organizations. Her time within the mob forced her to get pretty street-smart pretty quick. She knows how to lay down a beatdown, and is pretty proficient with firearms.
- Nadia is an extremely intelligent woman. In school she easily surpassed the large majority of her classmates; she learns quickly, is quick on her feet, and is a strong planner.
- Nadia can fluently speak a few languages, each accompanied by her distinguishable Romanian accent. They are Romanian, English, Italian, and French.

Grace was always lucky growing up. It was never anything life-changing, no bundles of money falling into her lap nor any reveals that she was actually descended from royalty, but enough that it was unmistakable. She never scored below a B on any multiple choice test despite her aversion to studying and filled her closet with prizes from raffles. More seriously, incidents involving homemade cricket bombs, small fires and an encounter with a rabid dog that could have very easily been deadly left her with only relatively minor wounds.
This good fortune was a double-edged sword, protecting Grace from dangers that she caused herself. Her childish belief that she was invincible pushed her into a life of thrill-seeking. This culminated in her making the impulsive decision to skip college to join the Canadian Army to the chagrin of her upper middle class parents with their hopes for a doctor-daughter. Military life took some getting used to but she managed to get herself in order and avoided any punishment more severe than a reprimand. Once she got settled into a regimented lifestyle she took very well to basic training, the fact that she was getting payed to play with guns a major boost to her mood.
After passing basic training Grace joined the Combat Engineer program, learning how to build field defenses and rig explosive charges before getting sent overseas as part of Canada's commitment to the war in Afghanistan. Grace loved the work, getting to blast down the walls of suspected terrorist compounds and getting in gunfights with distant enemies that were resolved by the summoning of artillery support. It was all very exciting for someone like her, even the work out of the line of fire. Grace's work involved the installation of infrastructure for local populations as well as the disarming of IEDs, the sort of undeniably good work that would make a person hold their head a little higher.
The military was clearly the right choice for Grace. She stuck around for six years before applying to the elite Joint Task Force 2. Once accepted she planned on not leaving until forced out by either retirement age or hostile fire. Grace managed to take part in a number of actions before she had to change her plans.
While she had been aware of her father's gambling problem she hadn't realized the extent of it. The elder MacDonald could never end a night on a winning streak, choosing instead to throw money down the drain. Once the family bank account ran dry he turned to the kind of shady figures with plenty of money to loan out and no interest in questioning what it would be used for. Dealing with loan sharks connected to the Bernunzo crime family got him out of a hole but promptly shoved him down a much deeper one, the debts owed much too large to be paid off legitimately.
Grace was disgusted by her father's inability to control himself but felt obligated to do something if only for her mother's sake. So she gave up her career and headed back home to put her military training to use as an armed robber. She worked with the same mob associates who she was collecting the money for, the sharks happy to make use of a gunman with high level military training. Under their guidance Grace hit cash trucks, banks, jewelry stores, collecting enough to cover her father's debts for the month and little else. Her precision is what earned her the moniker of Johnny-on-the-spot, or just Johnny Spot.
After two years of this her mother died of a stress-induced heart attack, making all of Emily's efforts for naught. With the one remaining tie severed she abandoned her father to his fate and left home again. With her military career disrupted and her outlook forever soured she kept robbing, traveling across Canada and down into the United States. She made a name for herself in the underworld, taking up residence in Los Angeles where she continued to live up to her nickname. The FBI dubbed her the Right On Time Bandit as it was obvious that she went into each job with a plan in mind and paid close attention to her timings.
By the age of 36 Grace was sitting on millions of dollars in cash, enough that she could retire quite comfortably save for one thing: she had no way to launder it. Without any business capable of washing her dirty money Grace paid cash for a cheap apartment in Venice Beach and holed up, spending her time wandering the boardwalk and discretely leaving stacks of her ill-gotten gains for others to find. After more than decade of action she was stuck wasting away in silent boredom.
Until the Senior did what law enforcement could not and found her, bringing a job offer with him.
Skillset:
-Tier One: JTF2 is a truly elite unit which means that Grace is a truly elite operative. Trained in reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, how to rappel down buildings and fast-rope from helicopters Johnny is also extremely handy in a fight whether in close-quarters or at long range. The time she spent storming urban hideouts and dealing with hostage situations has given her a good idea of how the enemy thinks now that she's on the other side of the line.
-Demolitions: Her specialty during her time in the army. Grace possesses the technical know-how required to safely operate and disarm explosives of all times, making her very useful when extra oomph is needed on a job.
-Strong Back: Built up from a lifetime of hauling around guns, gear and good old-fashioned greenbacks. If something needs to be moved, be it a safe or a struggling hostage, she can probably move it.
-Languages: Knows a few of them. English and French from growing up in Montreal, Dari and enough Pashto to get by thanks to her service in Afghanistan and a competent if stilted grasp of Spanish from living in Los Angeles.
-The Thinker: What got Johnny her nickname. When planning a job she takes in every detail and scrap of intel she can before piecing together a cohesive battleplan with a number of fallbacks.

This good fortune was a double-edged sword, protecting Grace from dangers that she caused herself. Her childish belief that she was invincible pushed her into a life of thrill-seeking. This culminated in her making the impulsive decision to skip college to join the Canadian Army to the chagrin of her upper middle class parents with their hopes for a doctor-daughter. Military life took some getting used to but she managed to get herself in order and avoided any punishment more severe than a reprimand. Once she got settled into a regimented lifestyle she took very well to basic training, the fact that she was getting payed to play with guns a major boost to her mood.
After passing basic training Grace joined the Combat Engineer program, learning how to build field defenses and rig explosive charges before getting sent overseas as part of Canada's commitment to the war in Afghanistan. Grace loved the work, getting to blast down the walls of suspected terrorist compounds and getting in gunfights with distant enemies that were resolved by the summoning of artillery support. It was all very exciting for someone like her, even the work out of the line of fire. Grace's work involved the installation of infrastructure for local populations as well as the disarming of IEDs, the sort of undeniably good work that would make a person hold their head a little higher.
The military was clearly the right choice for Grace. She stuck around for six years before applying to the elite Joint Task Force 2. Once accepted she planned on not leaving until forced out by either retirement age or hostile fire. Grace managed to take part in a number of actions before she had to change her plans.
While she had been aware of her father's gambling problem she hadn't realized the extent of it. The elder MacDonald could never end a night on a winning streak, choosing instead to throw money down the drain. Once the family bank account ran dry he turned to the kind of shady figures with plenty of money to loan out and no interest in questioning what it would be used for. Dealing with loan sharks connected to the Bernunzo crime family got him out of a hole but promptly shoved him down a much deeper one, the debts owed much too large to be paid off legitimately.
Grace was disgusted by her father's inability to control himself but felt obligated to do something if only for her mother's sake. So she gave up her career and headed back home to put her military training to use as an armed robber. She worked with the same mob associates who she was collecting the money for, the sharks happy to make use of a gunman with high level military training. Under their guidance Grace hit cash trucks, banks, jewelry stores, collecting enough to cover her father's debts for the month and little else. Her precision is what earned her the moniker of Johnny-on-the-spot, or just Johnny Spot.
After two years of this her mother died of a stress-induced heart attack, making all of Emily's efforts for naught. With the one remaining tie severed she abandoned her father to his fate and left home again. With her military career disrupted and her outlook forever soured she kept robbing, traveling across Canada and down into the United States. She made a name for herself in the underworld, taking up residence in Los Angeles where she continued to live up to her nickname. The FBI dubbed her the Right On Time Bandit as it was obvious that she went into each job with a plan in mind and paid close attention to her timings.
By the age of 36 Grace was sitting on millions of dollars in cash, enough that she could retire quite comfortably save for one thing: she had no way to launder it. Without any business capable of washing her dirty money Grace paid cash for a cheap apartment in Venice Beach and holed up, spending her time wandering the boardwalk and discretely leaving stacks of her ill-gotten gains for others to find. After more than decade of action she was stuck wasting away in silent boredom.
Until the Senior did what law enforcement could not and found her, bringing a job offer with him.
Skillset:
-Tier One: JTF2 is a truly elite unit which means that Grace is a truly elite operative. Trained in reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, how to rappel down buildings and fast-rope from helicopters Johnny is also extremely handy in a fight whether in close-quarters or at long range. The time she spent storming urban hideouts and dealing with hostage situations has given her a good idea of how the enemy thinks now that she's on the other side of the line.
-Demolitions: Her specialty during her time in the army. Grace possesses the technical know-how required to safely operate and disarm explosives of all times, making her very useful when extra oomph is needed on a job.
-Strong Back: Built up from a lifetime of hauling around guns, gear and good old-fashioned greenbacks. If something needs to be moved, be it a safe or a struggling hostage, she can probably move it.
-Languages: Knows a few of them. English and French from growing up in Montreal, Dari and enough Pashto to get by thanks to her service in Afghanistan and a competent if stilted grasp of Spanish from living in Los Angeles.
-The Thinker: What got Johnny her nickname. When planning a job she takes in every detail and scrap of intel she can before piecing together a cohesive battleplan with a number of fallbacks.
Phenomena:
When skill and practice aren't quite enough for Johnny to push through opposition luck comes into play. Fortune tends to smile on her, sprinkling advantages here and there. Sometimes it's as simple as finding a few coins in the car console to pay off an unexpected parking fee, others it might be an enemy with a clear line at her back inexplicably missing.
Personal Equipment:
-Guns: Johnny's picked up a number of them during her criminal career but usually sticks with the C8 carbine and Browning Hi Power. In cases where more is needed she can pull out the Ultimax 100 from storage.
-Armor: Plate carrier with level IV plates loaded. In cases where she really expects things to go wrong Grace can wear a combat helmet which has the added benefit of mounting night vision gear.
-Explosives: All sorts of demolitions equipment sourced from the black market. Blasting caps, plastic explosives, detcord, and thermite galore.
-Miscellaneous Gear: Gerber Mark II fighting knife, Breitling Chronospace watch

5’6”, lithe but toned, Meora Voskovec is probably an idea build and height for a thief. A few centuries ago she probably would’ve been even better than she is today given the lack of advanced security measures. Being of Czechoslovakian descent she is also near-pale with brown-amber eyes. Her blonde hair is dyed a green-blue, but changing things up to stand out less is pretty easy to do for her cosmetically.
Personality:
Reserved and distrusting, Meora has never been able to trust anyone. In work she goes by “Vos” for just that reason. She doesn’t need calling cards or a proper reputation, she saw what having a reputation did for her father and some of his old contacts. As a defense mechanism to keep people at arms length she is particularly smarmy and snarky, often poking fun at other people’s action when it is annoying. She’s not a people person and she does have a temper. That said, she isn’t particularly keen on bloodshed or murder so working with her isn’t an experience where you have to look over your shoulder. Besides, she’s the thief. She’s in the vents, anyway.

Meora Voskovec never knew her mother. Exceptionally. Instead of teaching Meora to adapt to society she was busy being treated how to break locks, maneuver vents, and disable technological failsafes. Sometimes a thief didn’t have a hacker to safeguard them and in his experience there was nobody you could trust in the “industry”.
Before she was sixteen Meora’s favorite place was a ventilation shaft. By the time she was twenty she had stolen her first painting. At twenty-five she was already an expert in her field.
And then came the loss of her father at the hands of somebody for something the dynamic duo had stolen from. It’s something Meora has been trying to put together for the last year, but admittedly she is not a people person and certainly no detective. She continued working as a thief tirelessly as other associates close to her father began disappearing as well. How long until the crosshair was over her head? How many of her father’s old contacts knew about his daughter? Hard to say. When she found herself being contacted by a mysterious benefactor who knew exactly who she was despite not that much information being out there. It was curious. Smelled like a trap, but when you’re desperate you’ll do what you do.

Skillset:
- International Thief
Meora has a keen eye and knowledge for unique inventory and their origins. She can spot fakes easily and has exceptional skill in noise reduction and visibility control due to her profession where stealth is a required skillset.
- Short Distance Combatant
Pistols and certain forms of martial arts compose of the entirety of Meora's skills in defense and incapacitation. A god strike to the throat or solar plexus can control a situation effectively before it gets out of hand.
- Subterfuge Expertise
You need the right tools to help you out whether you are going solo or not. Laser grids are still heavily in use and magnetic locks can be a death sentence. It's good to know how to keep you or your team safe with conventional tools meant for subterfuge. It won't get you through a real security system for long, though.
- Advanced Forgery & Counterfeiting
Meora isn’t a hacker in the conventional sense. However, when it comes to pieces of art or certain older forms of identification or merit, give her the right tools and time and she can pull off a pretty good copy.
- Urban Warfare Analyst
There’s a difference in knowing how to control a combat situation in the battlefield and in the streets. What corners are the most dangerous for oncoming threats if you need to run away? Where can you hide? What environmental weapons can you use as distractions or determents? Meora has lived her whole life in abandoned warehouses. Sure, for a long time her dad was watching her back but he also let her learn hard lessons.

Some conventional “analog” tools like lockpicks and such in addition to techno-tools to tamper with security dangers of the job. For self-defense or self-offense mostly she has on hand is a polymer 10mm Glock handgun. Sometimes she comes in with two, but only sometimes.
