Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: PA Station BK
Skills: Shapeshifting

Demi spared a half glance upwards from his food as Nancy uttered a singular word. No. It was firm, strong, as Demetri could easily imagine her standing on a hill facing off an entire battalion and that single word being her weapon and shield. He recalled his mother telling him something before when he was younger. No was a full sentence. She didn’t need to explain herself further nor state her case for the train. She’d said all she needed to with a singular word so rooted in a clear cause that Demetri wasn’t even about to ask any further questions on it. It seemed that Zeke was of the same mind as him, though that didn’t exactly surprise the son of Zeus. While he may not see eye to eye with Nancy, the two siblings seemed to be thick as thieves. He gave Cassian a mock apologetic look before shooting him a slight grin as he chewed on his burger, swallowing the bite before giving him a light punch on the shoulder. ”Sorry there mate, even if everyone had agreed to the bus I’d still stick to the tracks. Nance said no and we don't split the party. Maybe next time. Besides, I feel like I'd get tinnitus from being on a loud party bus from here to Los Angeles.” He took another bite of his burger before he decided to shift his attention back towards his boyfriend, rolling his eyes at him as he recalled his slight protest earlier before all the talk of the bus.

”Fries are hardly a meal Z. Besides, we're gonna need all of us fed and in top shape if we plan to get attacked repeatedly from here to timbuktu. That and…well who turns down pie?” He remarked before placing his burger down and wiping his hands onto the napkins he’d gotten. Demi wrapped his arms around both Zeke’s and Alexios shoulders, flashing them each a smile as he pulled them in with a tight squeeze before letting them go once more to enjoy his food. ”So glad to see you two getting along. Even sharing the fries I’d gotten you each. Warms my heart really, makes me feel like nothing can take me down.” His tone was cheery and upbeat, but really he just wanted to guilt trip Alexios enough to make sure he didn’t do anything retaliatory towards Zeke for stealing his fry. He doubted the god was that petty, but he didn’t want to write it all off just yet.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: PA Station. BK
Skills:

Cassian deflated slightly when he’d heard the bus ran at normal mortal speeds and didn’t cut time like the pegasi chariots did. The brightside was it was spacious inside and didn’t require any fuel which meant stops were to be few and far between only need for food assuming the bus itself might have a restroom on board. Nancy was, however, the first to rain on his parade. Shooting down his idea without so much as a second thought. If he didn’t know any better, Cassian would think she was doing this just to spite him. And she very well may still be. It seemed as though any idea he brought up the young Roman shut down. Hardly ever giving reasoning before shutting him out completely. It felt very targeted, but he tried not to dwell on it for too long. From what Zeke had mentioned, their end location was Nancy’s greatest fear. It only made sense that she wouldn’t mind their trip taking a little bit longer. Any air left in his sails was quickly knocked out as one by one every person had suggested staying within the train. It was unanimous it seemed, and Cassian had no real reason to refute it.

As he sat there watching the whipped cream on his shake sink with every sip, he allowed a singular nasty thought to enter his mind. One born of Chaos. What if Nancy was purposely sabotaging this quest? Whether she’d meant to or not, what if her constant fear and refusal to return to the Lotus Hotel and Casino was what called forth the gods attention? Spurring Aphrodite to meddle into Demi’s affairs and powers to slow down the pace they moved along in and when that didn’t pan out as well as needed she changed tactics by introducing a new element that would sow seeds of discourse. How else did one get the one god with a way to go cross country in a form that Nancy would immediately reject? There was a sudden slurping noise as he hit the end of his shake, not realizing it till after the fact as he’d thought of this new theory before pushing it out. ”Hey! I mean if everyone says no then it's a no clearly. Also I'm not impatient, I just think this quest is a little more important than any of us are really giving it credit for.”

Ezekiel voted for ignoring Alexios. Demi wasn’t some prized calf he would fight over with Alexios, even if he wanted to snap Alexios’s arm that was around Demi’s waist. He would fade into the Underworld happily if he could deal out damage to the god of parties.
Demi pulled them in again before releasing them. Zeke really wished Demetri would just let it go. Ezekiel would live like there wasn’t a marriage hanging over their heads until there was no other choice. He looked at Demi and smiled.
”Well, thank you then,” he said and nudged Demetri before giving him a wink, resuming eating his food.

Stella could hear the sound of the door dissolving as the acid started eating away at the door, and took a step back. She hadn't been expecting that, and was trying to keep herself quiet even as the holes in the door opened up more. She panted softly and then focused on the potted plant in her hands, and closed her eyes and started to mumble a bit to herself. She could feel the plant twisting around in the pot and the roots grow more in the pot.

She let the long vines of the plant burst forth and out of the pot and wrap around the maw of the creature and snap it shut, keeping it from spitting out more of that horrible acid at the door. Stella could hear Arbor snapping and growling at the creature behind the door and the cyclops, ready to attack. Stella continued to say nothing as she focused on keeping the plant wrapped around the creature, keeping it from making more of those holes in the door. She looked to Jason and Niah, to see what they would do now.

Andy's eyes went wide. She knew the man was Geryon, the owner of a ranch called Triple G Ranch out in Texas. Why he was here was beyond her, but it made sense why there were flesh-eating horses now. He breeds them. Horses were vaguely terrifying on a normal day. These were pure nightmare fuel as far as Andy was concerned. Before coming to camp, she hadn't even seen a horse up close. And she still mostly stuck with her Griffon rather than try to ride anything else.

She looked at Damon, urging him on with her hands and eyes. Hoping they'd be able to finish getting out of there without further incident. She was tired, especially after having laid down and allowed herself to relax, but now she was amped up a bit on the adrenaline of a potential fight. She made sure her dagger was at the ready. Sad again that Arthur wasn't with her. The two could fight well together. She missed the synergy of it.

Location: Hotel

With the acid-spitting snake tied up by Stella's plant, an insanely useful power, Niah swung her sword at the snake, trying to decapitate it. Getting that thing out of the fight was her first priority. Stella did the right thing by tying it up. But it also was a snake, and Niah imagined it would be able to escape that easily. Her first swing missed but, thankfully, didn't do any damage to the plants holding the snake still.

However, her second swing was enough to decapitate it. "Good job, Stella." She said quietly to the girl. She then looked at the cyclops. "You should have left us alone." She told him. The dust from the acid-spitting snake fell to the ground, emphasizing her point. There wasn't a lot of room in the entry to their room, and explaining the destroyed door would be a nightmare. She could only hope her ability to control the Mist would be enough to get them out of dodge. She leaned against the wall on her off arm to give room for Jason.

Well that was definitely something to hear about. So apparently Demetri was betrothed to something, that definitely made this whole situation hilarious. To her Zeke and Demi deserved the whole situation, so she didn't overly care about it really. She was somewhat glad that everyone else aside from Cassian was fine with continuing on with the train ride. Plus from the sound of it the only bonus of the bus thing was that they wouldn't have to worry about it needing to stop for gas or something like that.

"De train we also can ensure fahr de mahst part we actually get to where we're goin, sence 'ooze to say you all wouldn't 'ave de bus go ahff sahmewhere else ahr sahmethin," she added with a bit of a shrug. Personally she really wanted to get going or something like that for the most part. Then the sooner they could get back to camp and away from this sort of nonsense.

Jason Gauger

Location: The Hotel
Skills: Sword Fighting, Prowess in Battle

"Well I 'ave a vague idea o' what to do... Naht a 'undred percent certain it's a good idea at de mahment dough..." Jason said towards Niah as he raised his sword, more then a bit prepared to strike at the Cyclops if it came through the door. However it became apparent that was the least of his concerns, as apparently there were acid spitting snakes on the other side of the door or something like that. Well that was fun, but turns out he didn't have to worry too much more about them as Niah and Stella seemed to have killed them before he could do anything.

Instead, his attention turned towards the whole cyclops thing. With his sword at the ready, he took a few steps forward slowly, before throwing the door open and instantly swinging his sword at the monster that was there. He seriously injured the monster, and with one more swing, the monster died and turned to dust, and turning his attention back towards Niah and Stella, "Dat was fun, dough de room doesn't look de best because o' de acid..."

Marygold Isley

Things were definitely going more then a bit downhill now as they raced out the backdoor of the cabin and all. She really was not a fan of all of those horses that clearly wanted to rip them to shreds or something. Never a nice thing or anything like that, normal horses were fine and all, but nope, this was the Labyrinth so of course the horses they dealt with were the type that wanted to straight up murder them on sight. Well not even on sight, it was more of based on sense of smell.

Mary wasn't entirely sure who it was that had decided to make an appearance with the flesh eating horses. Whoever it was definitely was not a good person to tangle with if they could avoid it. She really hoped that Damon would lead them onwards more soon, so that they could get on with their quest and get on with getting the hell out of there where they didn't have to constantly deal with flesh eating horses. Or any other monster for that matter save for the occasional ones back at camp.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Burger King
Skills: N/A

Nancy nodded at Zeke, but didn't say anything. She had half a mind to walk back to the train station by herself. Joanie could fight just as well as some of these Greeks - and better than a few of them, too. She was pleasantly surprised that Demetri didn't push back. However, she was not shocked by Cassian's behavior. Her left eye twitched. She was sick of him. She didn't need his passive aggressive crap.

"Yes, please, tell us more about how important this quest is - as if we don't already know. Do you think I'd return to the Lotus Hotel for anything LESS than the UNIVERSE BURNING?!" she snapped, standing up. Her milkshake knocked over and began pouring out over the table, but Nancy didn't care. Her rage burned within her like a furnace. "How about YOU return to a place where you were almost raped! Where you had to KILL the men assaulting you - where you sat in their BLOOD and no matter how hard you scrubbed, it wouldn't come off of your hands? And there was no one to help you, because everyone was trapped inside a dream, but yours had become a nightmare? HOW ABOUT YOU FUCKING DO THAT, YOU GODS-DAMNED PIECE OF WORTHLESS GRODY ASS SHIT! I've fucking had it! This quest is so fucking important, that you can't respect my ONE BOUNDARY?! Fine! Do it without me! I hope you all rot in Tartarus for all I care!"

Her eyes darted to her milkshake, slowly spilling on the table. The lid was keeping most of it within the cup. She picked it up and removed the lid - and then cruelly poured it on Cassian's head.

"C'mon, Joanie, we're leaving," she told her dragon firmly.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Under the Sea
Skills: N/A

Leda considered Kiera's suggestion. Her main worry is that it would scare Oceanus off, putting the trident out of their reach. As long as his forces were engaging the camp, he was stuck. And maybe if they recovered the trident, Poseidon would have the strength to rally and crush the rest of this army, before the camp was evacuated. But evacuating the camp, while it would save lives, could also tip their hand. Sera seconded Kiera's plan and Leda frowned. She didn't want to risk the lives of Camp Fish-blood... But there were also lives at stake the longer Oceanus went unchecked, the longer he had Poseidon's trident.

"Not to be a bitch, but... We might lose our chance to recover the trident if we do that," Leda suggested uncomfortably. "We'll slow the army down, but Oceanus is bound to have scouts. A few of them might even be faster than me. They'll know the camp is being evacuated, maybe realize what we saw, and scatter." It was what Leda would've done, if she were Oceanus. Maybe he was more egotistical than she was giving him credit for. "It's a bit of a Sophie's choice, isn't it? Camp Fish-blood, full of innocents... Or the other innocents who will die if we fail..."

"Or... maybe when you two do the current trick, I sneak in there and get the trident," Leda added.

Harrisburg, Hotel near, Amtrak Train Station:

With the cyclops and the basilisk dealt with for now, however Jason being the closest to the door he could hear what sounded like some rattling. Near the door was what looked like an animal crate of some kind that was made out of celestial bronze, if he got a closer look he'd see an entire crate full of basilisks. There was about five of them in the crate itself, luckily the grates on the crate door were small enough so that the little acid spitting snakes couldn't escape. Luckily it seemed that the crate was holding the acid spitting snakes inside for now at least. The rest of the hallway was fairly quiet for the most part as well to, and no other guests or staff members had come up to check out the commotion.

Kiera Donovan

Location: New York City
Skills: Hydrokinsis, sword fighting

Kiera thought for a moment as she listened to her girlfriend, they did need to recover the trident sooner rather than later she had a feeling that Oceanus was going for Atlantis. She didn't want her girlfriend to go up against the Titan alone really, as she thought about changing the plan slightly. "I can try and slow them down with the avalanche, you and Sera should go and try and take the trident from Oceanus." Kiera suggested, she didn't want to leave her sister alone and she trusted that Leda would be able to help Sera out as well to.

Then she started to hear some barking and spotted a group of three telekines most likely patrolling or something like that and they had spotted the three of them. One of them quickly started to try and flee, they needed to take them out as quickly as possible before they were alerted of where they were. Kiera quickly ran forward and managed to swing her sword killing one of the telekines as her sword decapitated it as it turned to dust.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Labyrinth
Skills: Sword Fighting

Damon stared at the flesh eating horses luckily they weren't spotted which was a good thing then at least, he motioned for the group to quickly follow him. He quietly crouched and started to make his way towards the brush nearby, Madalyne quickly following along behind him, she. As she moved however she stepped on a twig, making a snaping sound as one of the flesh eating horses started to hear it and started to go and investigate it. The demon horse started to sniff the air letting out another hissing like sound as it's hoof scaped against the floor. Damon stopped and made a shushing motion as he stared at the horse, as it sniffed around, before turning and heading back to the rest where Geryon and the rest of the demon horses were.

Damon closed his eyes and sighed as he continued to move forward and when they were a good ways away from the cabin he got out of the brush. "There's a river of sorts nearby once we are there we can figure out which direction to go from there." Damon said as Madalyne nodded and continued to follow behind him, it took a little bit but they made it there as Damon started to take out his map and started to look it over again. "If we follow the river it'll take us directly to where you need to go." Damon told them all as Madalyne made her way over and started to fill her water bottle up with some water. Madalyne got up as she took a sip from the water and nodded slightly as she looked at them. "Do you two want to continue and move forward or do you guys need to rest some more?" Madalyne asked them, she didn't want to push the group to much, they didn't get much rest thanks to the demon horses really.

Alexios snapped his fingers as a plate of grapes appeared in front of him and handed some over towards Demetri and smiled. "Here you go a little something extra if you'd like." Alexios offered to his future husband while giving Zeke another little smug look wondering if he could actually top that Alexios was clearly trying to get another rise out of Zeke, which he also found pretty entertaining as well to. "Alright then train it-" Kristin was about to finish her sentence when Nancy suddenly snapped at Cassian, her eyes going wide as she pretty much spilled what had happened to her back at the Lotus Hotel and Casino. Kristin could easily understand why she didn't want to go back there now. She winced slightly when Nancy decided to spill her milkshake all over Cassian's head.

Joanie would let out a little cooing sound as she woke up from Nancy's snapping sound and gently nuzzled against her cheek to try and cheer her owner up clearly. "I'll meet you guys back at the station." Kristin said as she sighed as she got up and quickly followed behind Nancy, she didn't really want to leave her walking alone either really. "Hey wait up Nancy." Kristin said as she left the Burger King with Nancy, Alexios was really surprised and remained pretty quiet after Nancy's loud outburst. Alexios snapped his fingers again as a bundle of towels appeared right in front of Cassian. "You got a little something on your head." Alexios said to Cassian.

"Oh that probably would be a better idea. Good thinking, Leda." Sera had to admit... it probably would be better if they got a hold of the trident right now. Who knows what Oceanus would do if he just got away. They could be in even more trouble than what was happening right at this very moment. The girl saw the Telekines right as Kiera rushed forwards. She got out her sword, rushing forwards in order to take out at least another one of them. Slashing her sword upwards, the Telekine soon evaporated into monster dust that floated away in the water. "Just one more." Sera figured Leda would be able to get the last one since she was so quick that it wasn't much of a worry to the young girl just yet.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: PA Station BK
Skills: Shapeshifting

Demetri looked up from his drink as Cassian questioned how important the group viewed this quest. He got it, it was the kids first quest, hell it was Demi’s first quest too, but unlike Cassian he was never raring to go off on daring adventures. He did, however, figure that this meant a lot to him. He was probably just overthinking it all and just needed to let the quest…well quest. Zeke’s nudge brought his attention back towards his boyfriend, causing Demi to giggle before nudging him back. ”Don’t mention it, jerk. It’s the least I can do.” He snagged a grape from Alexios conjured vine and took a bite of it. They were incredible, and Demi’s immediate first thought was to snag another and quickly plop it into Zeke’s mouth. ”You have got to try these. They’re amazing! Definitely need some for the next picnic” The good mood didn’t last long though. Cassian had clearly struck a chord with Nancy. As she stood up and spilled her drink, Demi instinctively slid back into his chair further, spreading his legs so that if any of the shake had spilled off the edge it would miss his clothes and land on the floor. Normally he’d have rushed off to gather napkins and clean the mess at the point of spill but he thought it unwise given how Nancy was currently acting. The more she spoke the more Demi couldn’t look at her, finding a spot in the corner of their little section of Burger King to focus on. It felt as if he was reading her diary, like he was listening in to private thoughts he was never meant to hear. Before he knew it she’d thrown a shake on Cassian and left. Demi hadn’t done anything, but then why did this all feel like it was his fault?

In almost no time at all Kristin had gone off after Nancy, followed by Zeke. Demi’s hand went up slowly to feel his cheek where the warmth of Zeke’s kiss was still present. He lingered there for a moment before standing up and gathering some napkins from the drink station off to the side. He came back with a solemn look on his face as he began to wipe down the table. ”I’ve got this mess, why don't you go clean up in the bathroom Cass, maybe change into a spare bit of clothes if you have it.” He waited till it was just the pair of them (and Janelle) before he spoke again while wiping the table. ”You know…that’s actually how Zeke and I met. The petty fights, small insults, constantly trying to get a rise out of one another…” It felt wrong to speak about this in front of Janelle, but there was no real other time where she wouldn’t be around so he continued. ”You think it’s all some petty drama or grudge when suddenly you realize you're not just trying to get a rise, but that it's a way to get their attention. A way for them to notice you. So…yeah. I see the way you’re treating him, how you clearly want to get a reaction out of him…but that’s our love language. It’s how we can be ourselves around each other. He means a lot to me Alexios, and I get that we are betrothed, but maybe actually give him a chance and you’ll see just what it was that I fell in lo-...you’ll see why it is that I like him so much and why he means so much to me.” Demi stood there, soppy napkins in his hands as he stared blankly at the table. ”Chances the God of Parties has the ability to clean up a party foul?’

Cassian Rudenko

Location: PA Station. BK
Skills:

Janelle had a point. How much could they trust that Alexios’ ride would get them to where they needed to be without any further detours? It was after all a Party Bus and what’s more party than snagging up a few more spots along the way? If anything, Cassian figured the general mood of the current group and how they got along would kill any vibes inside of that bus real quick. None of them seemed to be party people. Cassian couldn’t help but roll his eyes as he heard Nancy’s initial sarcasm coming towards him. It’s like it was all she knew, sarcasm and vitriol. If she had a nice bone in her body, he figured it’s be the tip of her pink toe but it was bruised and pained from stubbing her toe on a coffee table one too many times. She brought up the Hotel once more, they still had no idea why she hated it so much, but what's more, Cassian had no idea what it had to do with the bus itself or what was going on. As Nancy raged on, the pieces started to click into place. She wasn’t just trapped in the hotel, she had hardly endured there. His stomach twisted in knots as she went on about what it was that happened, any words he may have had shut down and turned to bile in his throat. Then cold. Shiver’s shot down his back as he felt the cold treat slip down his shirt and trail its way down his spine. The sticky cold feeling snapping him out of anything he was feeling from Nancy’s tantrum.

For a moment his eyes shone a mix of purple and gold before fading back fast. She wasn’t in her right mind, he needed to remember that. As Demetri had motioned for him to go clean up, Cassian got up to do so. ”Yeah, sounds like a plan” His voice was sharp and cold. He made his way towards the mens restroom, noting the lack of paper towels in there and groaning in exasperation. His hands gripped the sides of the porcelain sink tightly, his knuckles turning white as he stared down at the silver ring around the drain. ”Maybe if you actually spoke to people they’d actually KNOW what your damned boundaries are. Oh I hate the lotus hotel woe is me. Lets just fully leave out that your boundaries extend past the fucking building itself. How the hell else was i supposed to know the alternate form of travel would cross some boundary you never fucking listed. Stupid Roman bitch. All she’s doing is holding us back in this quest, it's like she wants to see the Greeks’ fail.’ Cassian took a sharp breath in, holding it, before letting it loose slowly. ”That’s not fair Cass and you know it. Let's just…get cleaned up. Surely the women's restroom should have something to clean up with.”

Alexios was really pushing the point here. Ezekiel looked the Greek god over before he smirked. "I thought you were betrothed to Demetri? If you keep flirting with me, the gods may get angry." Truly, Alexios was paying more attention to trying to get a rise out of Zeke than getting to know the boy he was supposed to marry. He took the grape happily, feeling a sort of silent victory at getting a grape from the great Alexios. Ezekiel reached for his burger when he heard Nancy yell.
Zeke hadn't caught her sarcasm, knowing that was just Nancy’s language. It had become a constant in his life, just like wanting to hold Demi’s hand or scribble something down for a new song, but Nancy’s yelling was not. The colour drained from his face almost immediately before she even said the word rape. Ezekiel’s eyes shifted from looking at his half-sister to glaring at Cassian. There was a deep-seated rage there that had Ezekiel gripping the table instead of going for his sword.
Nancy stormed out, and Zeke came back to himself. The anger drained from his face, and he felt pain and emptiness. Ezekiel remembered how much Nancy had struggled to open up to him. At this moment, he felt like she had been violated all over again. Ezekiel shifted, grabbed his bag and put his uneaten burger inside. He knew what it felt like to have control ripped from oneself and what it was like to spend every day fighting for some form of it. As he stood, Zeke kissed Demi's cheek. "I'll be back," he promised before heading after Nancy.

Ezekiel looked at Kristin once they were outside. ”Maybe just…hang back,” he suggested. Ezekiel didn’t know how to handle this situation, but he didn’t think talking about it would magically help Nancy. There was no way he wanted her to be alone, but that was more for his comfort than hers. Being alone for most of his life, he didn’t want to feel that way anymore. He was confident that Nancy knew she had his support in all things, but he didn’t want her to go alone if she decided to stop this quest. He would walk from the quest with her, even if the gods punished them for it.

Stella made sure to hang back as Niah and Jason set to work on taking down the basilisk and the cyclopes holding the creature. She did blush softly when Niah praised her for her good job on using the plant to tie up the creature. Thankfully, Niah took out the basilisk and Jason took out the cyclopes, and that left them with no more creatures in the room to deal with at that point. She gently set the plant down and pet it softly, silently thanking it for it's duty. She doubted that it survive, as it might have gotten hit with acid.

She looked up when she saw Jason by the door, and heard what he said. "We're going to get blamed for the acid huh? Is there anyway we can make it look like it didn't happen? Or wait... the door is too far damaged huh?" She frowned as she looked at the hotel door, noticing the lock was completely dissolved. There was one other problem that she did notice, and that was that Arbor was still growling a bit. "Arbor, what's wrong boy?" She walked over and started petting him softly, trying to calm him.

"I'm really tired. But I'd rather put as much distance between us and those horses as possible. I've had to do longer treks." Andy had traveled a lot on foot in her few years. So yes, she was tired. But she also knew how to keep going. Especially on a full stomach. Food was a must if you were going without sleep.

Andy also wanted to be somewhere relatively safe. The house had felt safe enough, but that hadn't turned out well. And she had no desire to sleep out in the open here. It was a good thing they had already agreed to help Damon out. He didn't have a house to go back to now. It'd be overrun by flesh-eating horses.

"Bring those in. We'll have to figure out what to do with them. I'm going to try to repair the door." Niah sheathed her sword. She supposed it wasn't really repairing the door but making it look like it was repaired. What mattered was that it lasted until they were long gone. Thankfully their names weren't really down for the room, and it wasn't like they'd be able to hunt them down. As long as none of them decided to come back to this particular hotel again, it hopefully wouldn't be an issue.

Niah pulled up the image of the undamaged door in her mind. Comparing it with what the ones down the hall looked like too. She pulled at the Mist and felt it coalesce around the door. It looked undamaged. She wouldn't say good as new. But it was serviceable.

"Alright, was it time for my shift? Or can I sleep a bit longer?" She asked the other two. Using the Mist had tired her out a bit. The fight had woken her up, though. She could do either at this point.

Nancy's rage burned hotter than the sun, scorching any in her path. For better or for worse, the first person to follow her out was Athena's daughter. Unleashing her anger on Kristin was not something that she would regret the same way as if she had on her brother or Mads or Niah. "Oh spare me your fucking sympathy," Nancy requested, rolling her eyes. "You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you, so how about you just go back inside with your grody ass friends and leave me ALONE?" Nancy snapped. She found her twin daggers called to her hands unconsciously, the imperial gold blades appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Diana may have gifted her a bow, but Nancy still reached for her daggers first.

Zeke came out, advising Kristin to hang back. But it was too little, too late. Nancy was so blinded by her own anger that she hardly even registered him. All she felt was the cool of the metal in her hands. And all she saw was a patronizing Greek, wanting to exploit her as some sort of glorified sniffer dog, all the while bitching and moaning about how inconvenient Nancy's trauma was. It could've been Kristin or Demetri or Cass in front of her, and the result would've been the same. "Unless you want to fight me," Nancy threatened, twirling her blades in her hands. "Then we can fight. But I'm not going to talk to you and I'm not going to pretend to be your friend. I'm too old for that bullshit."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Under the Sea
Skills: Sword Fighting, Agility, Superhuman Speed

Leda didn't like the idea of leaving Kiera by herself. If she were being honest, she would have left both Sera and Kiera behind. She would rush off by herself to face Oceanus, praying to whatever god would listen that they would aid her in the battle. And she would live or she would die knowing that the other two were safe. Demigods were born to die. Leda had long since accepted this, knowing that she would burn twice as bright for half as long. But she couldn't bear the idea of that happening to Kiera - or Sera, really. Her thoughts were interrupted as a bunch of telekhines appeared - three really - and the sisters managed to each take out one. In the blink of an eye, Leda looked like a rainbow streak, rushing through the water and slaying the remaining one.

"I got it," Leda said, but her eyes were only on Kiera. "I know I say mushy shit all the time, but this is serious, luv... I need you to know that I love you more than anything," she said, pressing her forehead up against Kiera's. "You're my everything." She closed her eyes. She had a strange feeling that nothing was ever going to be the same again - that she might not have that many chances to tell Kiera how she felt.

Janelle Gauger

The conversation for the most part was a bit boring to her, but also she had started tuning out the voices, namely the ones that belonged to Demetri and Zeke for the most part. But because of this use of selective hearing, she did hear what sounded like Nancy shouting, and she managed to make out a few of her words to get the gist of what she was yelling about, before what sounded like the sound of someone spilling a drink. Another noise that followed was what she was guessing a drink or something getting spilled. From the obvious sounds now, it seemed like Nancy had dumped her milkshake onto Cassian's head.

Then everyone else started taking off places, namely a few people went to follow Nancy, while Cassian went to go try and get the drink off of him. Which left her alone with Alexios and Demetri. She didn't have anything against Alexios or anything, but it was more of the fact that she was left around by Demetri that made things bad. But him opening his big mouth is what made that whole thing go from bad to worse. "I dahn't give a damn, but maybe you should 'ave cahnversations like dat away frahm everyahne else, so no one else 'as to lesten to what your beg mouth says, and you're actin like anyone would actually care," she said towards Demi, before she got up from the table leaving him and Alexios behind, not really caring anymore at this point.

The crate was definitely the first thing that he noticed after the cyclops died. And oh what joy, it was more of the snakes, just in a much more durable cage now. They probably would draw some attention and he wasn't entirely sure how things would work out with the mist if normal people saw them sitting there out in the hallway or something like that. Stepping out for a moment, he grabbed the crate and pulled it into the room, unsure of what else to really seem to do with it. Though they'd have to find out what to do with it more long term eventually.

Jason looked over at Niah as she seemingly went to work to at least patch up the door a little, or make it look that way? He wasn't entirely sure how the whole thing worked with it for the most part. "Yeah 'ow lahng were we really asleep ahr sahmethin? Ahr well, dozin, dedn't feel like it was dat lahng," he ended up saying to the other two. It wasn't that long or something was it? Maybe it actually had been a little while and all, it was a little hard to tell considering what just happened at the drop of a hat.

Marygold Isley

The entire situation that they were in was definitely fun to say the least. They ended up having a few close calls with those horses beyond the whole incident at the cabin. Here was hoping that they didn't have anymore intruders in the realm of monsters. But then, they were definitely going to have to fight more monsters as they went along the way. Especially considering they were supposedly getting really really close to their goal at this point, so they likely would have to fight worse monsters then that as they went along.

Damon eventually led them along to a river, and then the question was posed with regards to where they were going. Take a break or keep along and get some more distance along before taking a break. Mary didn't overall care either way, but Andy did have a decent point about maybe putting some more distance between them and the flesh eating horses. "Let's see about getting a little more distance between us and the horses, then we can take a little bit of a break before going further."

Harrisburg, Hotel near, Amtrak Train Station:

The sounds of the basilisks in the crate were still fairly loud as they hissed and moved around the cage and it would occasionally rattle side to side, but the crate was durable enough still. It could be useful for them in the future if they wanted to take the thing around with them, there wasn't anything else happening for them and pretty quiet as well to. (Timeskip to the next morning will be in the next update.)

Kiera Donovan

Location: New York City
Skills: Hydrokinsis.

Kiera turned around to face her girlfriend as she wrapped her arms around her, and pressed her forehead against Leda's before leaning in and giving her a passionate kiss. "You are my everything to, just make it back safely." Kiera said as she kissed Leda on the forehead once more while holding her hand a little bit longer. She wasn't sure but she had a feeling that something bad might happen to anyone of them but she ignored that gut feeling for now. She looked at Sera giving her sister a smile as she went over and gave her a hug as well, even though she didn't know her for very long really only a few hours now at best. But to her she felt like she knew Sera longer than that really, she had been doing great so far. "Watch over each other alright?" Kiera said looking at the two of them.

Kiera then moved over to her hippocampi and climbed up onto it. "Once I finish what i'm doing i'll come and find the two of you." Kiera told them as she quickly started to move her hippocampi through the water until she was out of sight, searching for the weakest point in the canyon. If either Leda or Sera looked they would notice Oceanus himself moving into a massive looking cave, it most likely was where he was operating out of. The main enterance was heavily guarded by Oceanus' army, maybe they could find a way to sneak into the massive cave undetected.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Labyrinth
Skills: Sword Fighting

"Alright then, lets keep going." Madalyne said as she finished filling up the rest of her water bottle and handed it over to Andy and Mary in case either of them wanted to drink something. Moving on seemed to be the best thing for now, but she knew that the group did need to get some more rest than what they had back at Damon's cabin. Madalyne turned to Damon, he seemed to know the area better than the three of them really. "Know where a good place to rest is aside from your cabin?" Madalyne asked him, since he had been down here way longer than them maybe he had some setup in case the cabin did get overrun.

"There's a small cave of sorts thats closer to where we need to go, I have some supplies there to." Damon said as he motioned for the three girls to follow him. She was getting pretty tired herself, the day had been really long as well to for the three of them though she had spent long hours training and everything with little sleep back at Camp Jupiter training was always intense. The woods were eerily quiet now as they continued to move through the woods, until she noticed the cave that Damon had it looked like there was some supplies there as well to there weren't any monsters either by the looks of it to. (Will do a timeskip here as well to for next update.)

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Philadelphia Amtrak Station
Skills: N/A

Alexios sat there awkwardly quiet as the group seemed to just start splitting up pretty quickly, Nancy, Kristin and Zeke had gone off to try and calm the daughter of Apollo down. Cassian had gone off to clean up the mess that the daughter of Apollo had made all over him with the spilled milkshake, and Janelle had gone off now as well to. It reminded him of that one mortal tv show where they fought on stage or something and the crowd yelling out 'Jerry, Jerry, Jerry' over and over again, he had to admit that it was pretty entertaining. "Well this is nice just you and me now alone." Alexios flirted with Demi giving him a playful wink, Janelle would be able to pick up some of what Nancy and the others were talking about as well to. If Cassian went into the women's restroom he would find some paper towels luckily which was a good thing though someone else was in the bathroom in one of the stalls.

Kristin remained as calm as possible she didn't go for her bracelet that would turn into her celestial bronze spear, as Nancy looked like she wanted to fight. She knew that the girl was hurting really badly, and she was in a group that she didn't like aside from her half-brother Zeke. She really was trying to be there for Nancy even though she didn't know the girl all that well really as she spoke up calmly. "I'm not going to fight you, I really do want to help, thats all I have to say." Kristin said as she took a step back when Zeke approached, maybe he would be able to help her.

Stella watched as the crate of hissing and spitting basilisks was brought into their room, and heard Arbor growl lowly at that point. She walked over to her pup at that point and started to pet him gently to calm him. They didn't need the situation to get worse at that point, with the animals spitting and barking at one another. She continued to rub her pupper as she moved to sit back down on the couch, and let Arbor snuggle in close to her.

"You can both go back to sleep for a while longer. It hasn't been been more than an hour or so. I don't mind being up for a bit longer, and I want to make sure that Arbor isn't going to start something with the other creatures." She gently ran her fingers through his leaves as she sat there, and looked up at the older two. She could tell that Niah had probably used a bit of energy using the Mist, and the fight had given Stella enough adrenaline to be awake for the rest of her shift.

Andy drank some of the offered water. "Thank you." She nodded at Damon's explanation. She was also a little impressed. He had set up small bases in the area he knew. That was a good strategy. That might be part of why he was still alive.

After they arrived at the cave Andy realized she had left the blanket at the cabin. She lamented its loss but curled up with her jacket instead. She yawned. "Wake me up and I'll take a watch later." She said. There was no way they wouldn't have watch now. But she was too tired to take the first one.

Niah nodded. She was a little thankful for that. She probably could have stayed awake for her watch if it was time for it, but she was glad she didn't. She laid back down in her little nest. Her sword was again at her side.

"Maybe put the snakes in the bathroom for now. I don't know if I can sleep through that ruckus." Niah suggested. "Let me know if you need help." Since they were magical creatures the group might be able to travel with them. But Niah wasn't certain how they could get them on the train.

"Well, do we want to keep them? Or..." She trailed off. It would feel a lot like an execution. But monsters would come back eventually.

Things escalated quickly, which wasn’t surprising to Zeke. He was starting to think that being the child of the god who moved the sun around meant each child would have some sort of explosive anger. Each one of them was a product of a solar flare.
Kristin backed up when Nancy challenged her to a fight, and Zeke stepped between the two of them. He faced Kristin and pushed her shoulder gently. ”Go. I know you think you are helping Kristin, but this isn’t how you can help. I need you to go back and be the leader the others need. Go.” He said and released her before turning back to face Nancy.
”If you need to fight someone, fight me. Or we can just walk away.” He held her gaze, willing her to back down, but prepared to help let her fear and anger out.

"Eewww." Sera joked when the two kissed. Of course she wasn't against such things, she just had to tease the couple. "Don't worry, we'll be safe. And you also stay safe! Let's go get that trident, Leda." The young girl gets on her hippocampus since it'd be quick to get down into the cave that Oceanus had gone into. Hopefully they'd be able to get the weapon away from him and safely evacuate the cave afterwards. That was a large worry, what would await them? Sera took a breath. Her nerves were haywire right now.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: PA Station BK
Skills: Shapeshifting

Janelle lashed out towards him, unsurprisingly. Demetri had honestly hoped that she would simply remain as a wallflower during this conversation. She had remained silent up until now, hardly giving any words edgewise as the others talked things out, so why was she suddenly so vocal? Or was it simply just because she was alone with him and Alexios so no one (including Zeke) would see the nastier side to her that Demetri was beginning to notice. Sure she was Irish (or Scottish Demi really didn’t know) but green was not a good color on her and she needed to get over her jealousy long enough for this quest to be over. What happened at camp he didn’t care, but out here with their lives in danger? With Zeke’s life in danger? She needed to overy up. Once she left their vicinity, Demi exhaled a sigh of exhaustion as he rolled his eyes towards Alexios. ”I'd say she has to be blind to notice that I did wait until I was as far from everyone else as I could but…well she is.” He gave the party god a bit of a shrug as he continued to clean up the spill, waiting to see what his reaction was to what he’d just told him.

Unfortunately it was almost as if everything was in one ear and then out the other. All Alexios did in return was flirt more with Demetri now that they were truly alone. Demi narrowed his eyes at the god, annoyance clearly running through him as he contemplated on what to do or say next. He stood up from where he sat, the chair making a loud scraping noise as it slid back from his sudden movement. ”I was trying to have a heart to heart with you Alexios, but if you cant even handle that?” Demi tossed the pile of napkins towards Alexios on the table, plopping the wet one he was using to clean down onto the table with a soft splat. ”Then maybe you can at least handle doing this. Clean up the mess, I'm going to go and check on Cass to see if he’s ok or needs help. Maybe some time alone will give you the chance to think about how to listen to your betrothed better.” Normally Demi would’ve been smitten over a guy like Alexios. He was classically handsome in a smarmy kind of way, and his jerkish attitude reminded him a bit of Zeke, but right now he wasn’t having it. Zeke was in pain along with his sister and Cass was alone and a mess, and here Alexios was trying to just make a pass at him.

Cassian Rudenko

Location: PA Station. BK
Skills:

Cassian opened up the bathroom door only to see that Demetri was standing on the other side, hand extended out as if he was about to do the same. Demi gave him a weak and awkward smile as he waved towards him. ”Can I help you?” he said with a tinge of embarrassment lacing his words. He didn’t like being seen in this light and he wasn’t sure if Demi was here to aid or simply laugh at him on Nancy and Zeke’s behalf. He’d felt like a life size punching bag towards the two twins of Apollo this entire trip. ”Funny, here I thought I was coming here to help you. Come on move over, you missed…several spots. All of it really” Demi pushed his way past Cassian, making sure to avoid touching him so that he didn't have any shake spilled onto himself. Cassian rolled his eyes and followed suit behind him. ”There’s no paper towels in here, or anything really. I was about to check the lady's room to see if there was anything there. Either that or Zeke took the last of what was left in here when he cleaned up.”

Demetri gave him a once over as he looked around the restroom for any signs of something to clean Cassian with. Clearly there was nothing there. He let out a sigh as he looked towards the son of Dionysus. ”Can’t exactly have you barging into the girls room like that. You might scare someone if there’s someone in there. I’ll go, I can blend in better. ” Cassian didn’t exactly argue, though he did open his mouth in an attempt to do so before realizing he had nothing to say in retort to it all. He simply just waved Demi off to go gather the supplies unnoticed while he waited alone in the bathroom. Demi nodded, attempting to shift into a more feminine version of himself (like he’d been stuck in for the greater part of the morning) and yet it seemed as though his powers didnt wish to budge. He frowned just before turning back around towards Cassian. ”On second thought I've got a ton of spare clothes. Just use one of these shirts to clean up and toss it in the trash when you’re done. Don’t need spoiled milk following us from here to LA” Demi handed Cassian an old faded female shirt, the words backstreet boys barely able to be made out. Cassian took the shirt, eyeing Demi before opening the tap and getting a portion of the shirt wet. He made his way into a stall, taking off his current shirt and cleaning off the milkshake from his face and body before donning on some new clothes.
