I have such low expectations yet such high hopes for Starfield.

I'd love to see them turn it around and make RPGs again, but are they capable of it?

From what I saw of the "Starfield Direct" it has more actual RPG elements in it than, say, Skyrim. With skill trees and perks that affected dialogue like older Fallout games, stuff like that. Honestly I'm not really into space settings and probably won't even play Starfield but the game did look fun (though I didn't watch the entire Starfield showcase which they did right after the Xbox one).

After what they did with F4 as compared to 1/2 or even 3 I don't trust it until I see it. 4 had everything they needed laid out for them and yet we ended up with Yes/No/Background Line/Sarcastic Yes for the whole ass game.

Still I've taken a bit of a liking to SciFi recently so I hope they make it work. If they can combine F4 gunplay, Skyrim and F4 environments, with some space combat and hopefully some of that wonderful Morrowind weirdness it could be a fucking Legend.

Or it might be Fallout 4 without the retro-futurism.

I just hope Starfield doesn't have the thing where outside the small number of more purposely detailed and developed main planets, that the ones you can go to outside of that don't just have like the same 4 cave/hideout/camp/base things shuffled around

I don't think it will ever match what Outerworlds got, they spat in the face of Bethesda. And people loved that.

I swear I will die laughing if Outerworlds 2 steals Starfield's shine the same way New Vegas did Fallout 3

I can so see that happening, just to do another victory lap around Bethesda cause Obsidian is just better in every way. But let's hope both games have their merits.

I am admittedly more excited for Outerworlds 2, also I am still waiting for another fucking Borderlands game...That isn't the shot show Tiny Tina's Wonderland was.

you couldnt pay me enough money to 100 percent that game

well you could but i wouldn't like it

i did all the memories and temples and got the master sword and upgraded my champions leathers to max and got full stamina and every heart except for six. the way i played it i got the master sword before i did the fire, lightning, or water temples and i wound up getting the
as my second completed temple. it really made the narrative stuff maddening because link wouldn't just tell people what's going on.
