Greetings in 2024!!!


I hope all is well and everyone enjoyed their holiday season. Let's start the year off with another group vote:

I will be updating this mini-dungeon crawl weekly, giving you guys descriptions and consequences as Second Chance move through the temple. But before we can go further than the entrance hall, I will need a little heads up on the general path the party will take. So please vote ASAP to help me out and let me know that you're still here and ready to go!

The choices are:

1. Go directly from the entrance hall down the main central corridor to the ritual chamber, taking on the puzzle locked doors that block the way.

2. Make a right and go through the library rooms to try and find a way around the central corridor.

3. Make a left and go through the shrine rooms and the kitchen to try and find a way around the central corridor.

4. Something else (your own suggestion.)

I vote for the second chance option with the provision that James and/or Barracker threatens George with more torture if he's lying to them.

I'm also curious what, if anything, Adam found while searching George.

James and Barracker should definitely tell George how unhappy they will be with him if it turns out to be a trap before we head inside.

So I was asking xenon about the wand and thought of a sequence of events. I won't be doing this because I think it would be out of character for Adam to risk the element of surprise for this, but I'm copy pasting it below for your amusement.

-Adam wonders how the wand works
-In the library, he sees a cultist in robes, and asks them how the wand works
-The cultist explains it, then only afterwards does he realize that Adam isn't a cultist
-Adam punches the guy in the face just as he realizes that

Fun fact - the spell Adam uses has been something that has been planned for a while now. So long, in fact, that I had forgotten about it at least once :P
