Mortal humanoids (humans) are open atm since they were just introduced into the setting. They are quite primitive right now, think hunter gatherer with some capable of animal husbandry centered around a specific point. Language hasn't been formalized yet ICly. 'Superheroes' is a stretch; unless you coordinate with one of the gods to write a collab intro post that will give your specific mortal a specific divine gift or blessing, the only thing that you can have atm is the Blessing of Vitality given by Saries which basically makes your mortal live on average around 800-1000 years.

I said humanoids earlier cause another god has taken some of these humans and gave them a gift of randomness that basically mutates their body randomly upon birth, so from the next generation of those and onwards more 'customization' options for mortal characters will be available.

Lastly there are beasts available that are basically whatever we have on Earth. A cat was just accepted as a playable character.

In addition to gods, there are mortals, and I suggest taking it up with Vec if you want to rp a sub-god type called a "Patron".

A disclaimer for humans/mortals in general: Because of the nature of Sarhush/Saries' spawning of mortals (using the Egg of Potential as the impetus), I will not be introducing other mortals as a GM action, like I had mentioned in the Divine Action Reference Guide. I originally held the belief that the Egg would be used for something much larger/more powerful than simple mortals, but @Cyclone and @Frettzo thought otherwise.

So yeah, to honor the symbolic 'what could have been', I will not introduce any other mortal species during this Foundational Phase of the RP. That is not to say, however, that it could not happen in the future :)

Man, each post I write gets longer I feel. Though now that I've gotten most basic stuff I wanted to create taken care of, I'll finally be able to write more condensed posts, and interact a bit more with the others haha

@Rekkuza I would say metals and ores count as one, thing that you dont need to pay twice for. We can say that gold will be precious so it deserves to be counted separately, however the other materials can be bunched up into 1 con cost. Crystals and gems still are separate, so 1 con for those too.

However, you do know that these are mundane materials in the end. Technically you didnt have to create them, they would be spawned in next week after the Foundation Phase ended. You can instead maybe create some magical ores and metals with the conviction you spent on these. Regardless, good post.

@Vec Thanks the clarification! Also yeah, I am aware that these are mundane in the end, but I don't mind spending some conviction to create them anyways. It was pretty fun to write, and I feel like it helps establish Khthon's greedy side to have him create and guard even the mundane stuff. Also gave me an excuse to brush up on my geology knowledge x)

I've still got 3 points left until next tally, which is plenty, so don't worry, I'll find something fun to do with them (maybe bless something? There might be some mortals or animals that catch Khthon's non-existant eye)

Your last post segues really well into mine, I think. Sarhush is up to something down in the caverns, and what a place for Khthon to find him!

I don't expect to have much time to write over the next 72 hours or so, so feel free to write another post of your own in the meantime. But then toward the end of this week or in the weekend, I'd like to write one together. Actually, Frettzo knows my intentions for Sarhush and wants Saries to be involved too, so we might end up with a three person collab.

But at least in the beginning it could just be the two of us because I don't think Saries would turn up until the end.

Question, I'm seeing lives on land and in the air, but whatabout the sea? Is it just gacha plant and jellyfish with booze for blood or is there more?

@Shovel I don't see why there wouldn't be life in the ocean. We just haven't really gone in the water yet, so there haven't really been any reason to mention it.

@Shovel Indeed, all mundane animals were spawned during the fight between sarhush and saries, so one can reasonably assume that sea creatures also exist. Now, how well they have adapted to the nearby corrupted ocean is another thing entirely... @Cmmelody
