Gimmick/Theme behind Powers: Sharks

Psychological weakness: Being left behind.

Powers: Many of Cia’s moves are based on summoning water constructs that look like sharks. Depending on the shark she summons it can be a different kind of attack. Some can act as turrets while others can act as a full on attack or defense.

History: Cia was born into a very average family within the German city of RoStock. She and her family were very happy, and today are just as much so. When Cia was about 17 though she saw someone crying for help in the ocean. Without thinking she swam out to help the child. Later she discovered it was not a child she had saved but rather a sort of water sprite. It seemed that it was testing to see who among the humans in Rostock were worthy of becoming a new magical girl. As such Cia was deemed worthy and was even part of a magical girl team known as the aquas.

For years and even into her college years Cia had been apart of this team and had great joy in doing so. However as the demons became more and more dangerous Cia found that her team decided to venture into the demon world to get the route of the problem. They had left her behind though due to her being not as strong as the others. As such Cia was left behind to protect the costal regions in their stead. However her team never returned. And when one of them did she discovered that they had become corrupted and were commanding demons to attack the costal areas.

Ever since Cia has been scouring the globe to find other magical children. All in hope of creating an all star team of magical children to put an end to this terrible plight.

The Demon Lord

Personality: Lady Linda, or just Linda, is a very care free type of person. She is also exetremely egotistical and for good reason too as she has risen through the ranks to demon lord within almost a year since she started to conquest within the demon world.

Though Linda is egotistical she doesn’t often get very cocky. She has known this to be the downfall of the previous demon lords. As such Linda has learned from this, though the odd number of deadly rabbits is a sign of her ego as these are her favorite animals.

Powers: Absolute Corruption: Those who are touched and have no protection over their eyes become corrupted indefinitely. However those who are corrupted by her do not always show any signs of being corrupted and instead act as sort of sleeper agents amongst the magical children.

Power beyond your dreams: Linda has proven herself powerful as she can pull things from her own imagination into reality. As such no one has been able to best her, at least not yet.

History: Linda was born within the demon world. However she popped into existence instead of being born from parents. As such however she grew up with a need to conquer. As such by the time she believed herself to be ready she conquered the demon world. Much of her past is a bit of a mystery however as where she truly came from is the question on everyone’s mind. Many aren’t even sure if she’s really a demon, some think she is more a demon.

All that’s known is that she has an insatiable need to conquer and aims to conquer more than just the human world, but also the other realms. However in order to reach the other realms she first needs to conquer the nexus of all worlds, which just so happens to be the human world.

Personality: Neil is a rather wise young man, he can be seen as a force of reason for others when they are in their time to need. There are even legends of him turning the corrupt back into themselves. Though those legend are false it does seem like he could do it.
Gimmick/Theme behind Powers: Stupidly Strong
Psychological weakness: Watching a child get killed by gang violence.
Powers: Immense Strength: Neil has an inhuman amount of strength. This does however make him rather slow but he can take a lot of damage as a result.
Staff of Might: A quarter staff that he can summon at any time to use as a weapon.
Will Shield: Neil can summon a shield powered by his sheer will to fight and protect others. So long as his will isn’t broke neither can this shield. However he can’t keep it up for too long as it is very draining.

History: Neil was born in Maryland of the united states. He was born into a rather caring and average family. He grew up in a rather tough neighborhood however. One plagued with gangs whom wanted nothing more than to cause chaos. Neil also had a little sister named Helen whom he looked after very carefully grown up.

Around the age of 15 he saw his sister trying to pull him down a shortcut to get home. He tried to dissuade her by she went anyways. It was at this time that Neil had found a strange belt buckle on the ground, he picked it up and followed his sister. As he ran after he she was stopped by a gang that believed themselves to be superior to everyone else. As such the gang leader declared that his sister belonged to the gang the moment she stepped into their territory.

Neil tried to get her back but was beaten to a bloody pulp. Around the time just before he lost consciousness he felt himself being regenerated. He looked down to see the belt buckle glowing and then in a flash he had become the Lion Knight. Within minutes he had most of the gang members on the ground, however the gang leader had a gun pointed at his sisters head. Before Neil had a chance to stop him his sister was shot in the head and killed.

It wasn’t until later that he learned the gang leader was corrupted by a demon. Ever since has been spending his life trying to stop the demons.

Death of someone close to her, again.

Enhanced strength, speed, and enough endurance to take a tank shell to the face and just be injured. While she does have a sword, she mostly uses both her own ability and her powers to break everything she might encounter.

History:
She made a friend one day.

Significant, in that she had been alone for quite some time, surviving only on her deceased parents' savings, and her own wits. In school she was among those foremost in studies, and in sports. Why wouldn't she be? She doesn't have anyone to waste her time with after all, so there was more time to focus on those.

But she made a friend one day.

Her friend, was vibrant, elegant, naughty, fun, and playful.

Everything she wasn't.

It was obvious they would be friends. And friends they remained for several years. By then, Hayami had found out that demons exists, and her friend was among one who fought them. She had even been to some of her friend's fights, and helped in a few of them. Her friend always seemed alive when she was fighting, like she could live forever and a day and lose not a step.

But, their friendship was not to last, for her friend died by her own hands, being given the sword hilt her friend always held close. It was the first time she had saw her friend in such pain. It was the first time her friend had ever begged her to do something.

It was the first time she truly cried.

The hilt, having lost it's previous master, was now hers, as well as the responsibility of protecting her home and the prefecture from demons and any that might bring harm to that place.

History:
Naomi has always been the oldest child in her familly, daughter of a japanese woman and an american man. She was five when her twin brother and sister were born, and from then on her parents told her it was her responsibility to protect them. She took that to heart, helping take care of them, watching them when their parents couldn't, and when they were old enough walking them to and from school. For ten years, she loved and protected her siblings, but on a midsummer day visiting her mother's home, a demon attacked a shrine she was visiting, possessing a man already on the verge of madness. The man had a gun, and before anybody even knew what was happening, he shot Naomi's brother, killing him instantly. Naomi imediately ran to him and her sister, driven by instinct rather than her already crumbling psyche, but the man fired again before she could get there. As he turned the weapon on Naomi as she collapsed over her siblings, the spirit residing in the shrine took action, bonding with Naomi to protect her and give her the power to defend herself. The demon possessing the man was relatively weak, and in fear of the spirit fled back to it's own world, but the spirit couldn't undo the damage that had been done.

Chu Chanith is extremely young for a demon, practically newborn. As such, her personality is still in flux, though she identifies with Alistor's vow. She is insatiably curious and easilly confused, and hates harming innocent people.
Powers:
Heartsong - Chu can influence the emotions of anybody around her. The weaker the person's will and the less aware they are of the effect, the stronger her song will effect them.

Mindsong - If she needs to, Chu's song can directly control one person for a limited time.

Gentile Possession - Chu can possess animals without harming them.

History: Chu's history is short. As a human, she was named Cynthia, and lived with her mother in a small apartment. At the age of nine, she was captured by a demon and dragged back to it's world to be corrupted, where she started life over as Chu Chanith.

Personality: Alastor Cygnus is quite affable for a demon. He will never willingly engage in violence, finding doing so somewhat barbaric and that "there is no point in throwing off non-sentience if all we're going to do with our new-found sentience is fight again". Despite - or perhaps because he is - a demon the idea of loyalty is one that he admires. He considers himself loyal to those he makes promises to and will never break any sort of vow or oath. He considers this his way of proving his sentience over other, mindless demons. This does not mean that he does not derive enjoyment out of the suffering of humans - to him, the sight of humans despairing over losing entire fortunes and spiralling into massive losses within his casino are all delightful to him.

When it comes to magical children he does not view them as enemies but instead would view them as a bear would be around her cubs near a hunter. He considers humans and demons as species that would be forever at odds with each other not out of any sort of morality but simply because they are as incompatible as a snake and a mongoose. Due to his vows he will not antagonize magical children but should they see him as a demon to exorcise then he will gladly defend himself.

Alastor despises humans who corrupt and become demons. While those who fall due to the actions of his peers are understandable, those who fall out of personal sin or vice are traitors to their own people and race. If they are willing to betray their own humanity then they are untrustworthy, and it is because of that he never trusts them as demons either.

Powers:

Corruption: The base ability of any modern demon, Alastor has the power to corrupt humans.

Physical Alteration: In order to blend into modern human society Alastor learned the secrets of self modification and the ability of changing one's appearance. He does this to look as human as possible and so that people don't shout or scream when they see him.

Property Alteration: As the next level of his own physical alteration Alastor is capable of giving mundane objects magical properties such as enchantments, changing their shape altogether or even transmuting them into different elements. He is, however, subject to the law of conservation of mass.

He can even grant exorcist attributes onto weapons and objects he is altering although the process is quite dangerous on him simply due to the fact mishandling the object could be inconveniently painful. In order to do alter objects he requires direct physical contact with the object he is altering.

History: Alastor Cygnus was one of the first demons to gain some form of sentience and rise above the status of mindless monster, rising and visiting the human world during the age of exploration and empire. Having stayed out of the underworld due to the mistaken belief that he was an anomaly he travelled the human world, spreading some form of misery or disaster - although he insists that most were quite unintentional. Learning to stay in the human world longer bit by bit he began thinking as his sentience and mind grew. Thinking on the existence of demons and humans, thinking on their relationship, thinking on the nature of their conflict.

During this time, Alastor met the local priest of the community he had made his home. Although the priest instantly realized what he was - or at the very least had an idea - the two still became odd friends, finding mutual companionship in discussions of theology and philosophy. The two of them also played a lifelong game in which Alastor would consistently tempt the priest in an attempt to corrupt him while the Priest would do his best to try and redeem him - both things which the other thought were impossible. Time, however, soon took its toll and the priest succumbed to age. On his deathbed Alastor, who looked no different from the day they had met decades ago, finally made a vow that he would never harm innocent humans, something which he knew would severely weaken him, out of respect of their friendship and that it would be what the preist wanted. As such, Alastor soon began rapidly losing strength.

When the new Demon lord was crowned, Alastor returned to the underworld for one purpose and one purpose only: to challenge her position and aim to dethrone the demon lord. Entering the underworld with seven exorcist weapons of his own creation under the belief that seven was a powerful number, he challenged the demon lord and contested her crowning.

He will fully admit afterwards that he had been "quite soundly defeated".

As one of the first demons to have been granted sentience he should have been one of the most ancient - and thus, one of the most powerful. However, years of fulfilling his vow to his late friend had severely weakened him. Had he never met the priest it was entirely possible that he would never have lost his power and he could very much have won. Instead, he valued his loyalty over his power despite the weakness he knew it would bring up on him and lost as he did.

Defeated, wounded and on the run, Alastor hid himself in the human world. Watching the eras fly by, he finally made an appearance in the human world under the stolen identity of "Alex Stahl". Using a large sum of transmuted gold as his start-up finance he opened the now famous Starlight Millennium Casino in London England. A very legitimate businessman, he nevertheless is still a demon.

Personality: Chidori is somewhat aloof though despite this she has a strong sense of right and wrong that is somewhat warped a result of a tragedy in her past. She is a caring person often having a strong mental attachment to those she can call friends and family. Willing to go out of her way to make sure that they are ok often employing somewhat drastic measures.

Zafkiel & Zadkiel : A set of old fashioned flintlock guns. These guns aid her in the manipulation of gravity along as serving as normal guns.

Gravity Bullets: Shoots bullets with its own gravitational field that can pull in debris as it travels along its path

Gravity Spheres: creates and shoots small gravity spheres that uses its own gravity to surround itself in rocks, whereupon Chidori can direct it to smash into her enemy.

Gravity Well: Using her ability she can create a small gravity well around her increasing the effects of gravity of all caught in the sphere she creates. It also lessens the effects gravity around her.

History:
Chidori was a only child growing up in a christian orphanage she was raised in a somewhat strict manner crippling any form of rebellion she tried. Despite this she was well taken care of. She grew older quickly taking a role as a older sister for the younger kids at the orphanage helping them when she could. Despite how strict the matron was happy to a extent she had everything she could want so who was she to complain after all? This however did not last as when she reached the age of 13 the orphanage was attacked by demons. Fire burned and raged all the while demons went about killing any and all of the children without mercy.

She should have died if it wasn't for a chance encounter as Chidori likes to call it she was found and taken from deaths door by a spirit who was nearby in exchange for a chance to live she would carry out their will in eliminating the demons. Quickly seeing a way to get her revenge and a chance to live her life she quickly accepted. Though this was not without price her life was connected to the spirits and as such it could kill her with nary a thought. This didn't matter to her as the way she saw it after eliminating the demons she could eliminate the spirit afterwards.

The event at the orphanage however had a profound psychological toll on her psyche and as a result she was practically a different person. She grew to develop her own sense of justice and if you were against her meant you were "evil" in her eyes. She would eliminate you with great pleasure showing you the error of your ways. A nightmare people called her eliminating demons with great pleasure often speaking with a saddened tone when they died. Despite all of this she is caring towards others going out her way to help people in her own way even if they often misunderstand what she is trying to do.

Greeting everyone she meets with a hug or a kiss on the cheek, Hannah just wants everyone to stay happy. She doesn't really care how it comes about, so long as the people around her have smiles on their faces. When someone just won't turn their frown upside down, she'll happily supply them with sweets until they do. However, when she is faced with a demon, her perpetual smiles will be absent, replaced with a cold apathy. Anyone, even humans, that would willingly hurt others for no real reasoning has no right to be happy, and will be drowned by the sheer rage she will emit.

Powers:
Fondant of Life - A small, fluid stream of fondant chocolate can be created and directed towards a target. When it is consumed by allies, wounds are healed and fatigue is alleviated. When consumed by demons, it has no true effect besides being irresistibly delicious. This takes a full 10 seconds to create, and all of her concentration must be placed in creating it perfectly. If she is disrupted, it will disappear and she will have to restart once again.

Patisfrance Construction - From the premium chocolate, Hannah is able to create and maintain constructs that are able to withstand powerful blows. Usually, she uses it to create a sturdy zweihander that is as strong as it's steel counterpart, potentially stronger. Her go-to equipment for demon slaying. The constructs are able to regenerate and piece themselves back together so long as Hannah is able to concentrate on it, but she is unable to control them besides their creation (She can create a wall of chocolate, but it cannot move).

Bittersweet Couverture - She creates a giant orb of chocolate around the target from the ground up, encasing them in the hard shell and thick filling. If they are unable to escape before or after it's creation, they will drown within the syrupy chocolate within. Trying to consume it will result in severe nausea and stomach cramping. The entire structure will lose it's bitterness and secondary effects when she uses Trembleuse

Trembleuse - She recalls all previously used, leftover chocolate back towards her, and integrates all of it into a tiny, compressed orb, which she swallows whole. This does not have any real combat use, but it makes clean up easier. Her most delightfully tasting chocolate.

History:
Hannah had an older sister, Odelette. Her sister was three years older, but they always did everything together. They played together, dressed together, stood up for one another, and generally kept each other smiling throughout their lives. When Hannah started to gain an interest in baking when she was five, her sister was the one who steered her towards becoming a chocolatier, or a person who made hand made chocolates. As they grew to become eight and eleven years old, Odelette became diagnosed with an unknown disease, and was brought to the ER for treatment. For the next six months, Hannah would be driven by her parents to the hospital, and would speak about her life to her bed ridden sister, both of them hoping for the day when Odelette would be set free.

On a fateful day, Hannah had met a wild sprite for the first time, who had been observing her as she visited her sister almost single-mindedly everyday. The sprite had told her that her sister was being plagued by a demon who wanted her to die an early death, and offered the younger sibling the chance to stop them. She did no believe it at first, and left on her way. After that day, as she entered the ER to see her sister once again, the older sibling was already dead. The demon the sprite had spoken of had gained enough power to manifest a physical form, and was hunched over her Odelette's lifeless body as Hannah's fragile sanity slipped away. At that moment, the sprite had appeared to her once more, saddened by the sight of a human's death, and offered the power to end the demon's life. With no hesitation, the young eight year old Hannah gained the powers of a magical girl, and destroyed the demon with a righteous fury.

Even after that day, she still visited the hospital, sitting by the bed that her sister once layed upon, and spoke to the empty space as if Odelette was still alive. No matter what anyone did, she still came, and when they tried to take the bed away, she retaliated with something that wasn't quite sane. By night, she would hunt for demons, extinguishing their existences like one of their own had taken her sister's. One of those days, she was invited by a magical girl squad to take the fight to the demon realm. Accepting the offer, completely unaware of what was to come, she entered the demon realm with determination-

And found herself back in her house, on her bed, with no memory of what had happened before. She later shook off the incident as a dream, but a small, nagging corner of her mind felt that something wasn't quite right with the world she saw anymore.

Personality: Nelly suffers from dissociative identity disorder (DID) where she seems to bounce between one personality which is believed to be the original Nelly and one other identity that shows itself after certain criteria are met named Syrn. Nelly can be best described as the warmth people want to feel when they're down, in the form of a hug or just general acts of kindness, if someone needs something and Nelly has it she’s more than willing to share even if she doesn’t have it she’ll attempt to go out and get it. Always a cheerful optimist working through depression, loneliness and all of life's problems in a ‘glass half full’ kind of fashion in a way that almost feels outright obnoxious.

Saryn is a different story from the regular Nelly but unless a person has spent a good amount of time with both one wouldn’t notice the change. Sayrn mimics Nelly’s personality almost flawlessly the only real change is the thing that motivates her, while the real Nelly will help out of kindness Sayrn on the other hand seeks reward. While on the outside Saryn copies Nelly on the inside she is cold, sadistic, and very loathing of those around her; Sayrn is most likely to back stab Nelly’s best friend for literally anything she deems a worthy reward, but she’d do it in such a way that Nelly’s reputation isn’t ruined; this isn’t out of a liking for her other half its simply if people don’t trust their face it’ll be harder to take advantage of them later.

Nelly and Saryn will swap places with one another at random intervals, usually if one or the other falls asleep, Saryn is most likely to step in if Nelly isn’t emotionally capable of handling the situation if the glass is completely empty for whatever reason. Sayrn will sometimes release her dominance over the body out of convenience.

Gimmick/Theme behind Powers: Sun Tarot card (Both right side up and upside down)

Psychological weakness: Dissociative Identity Disorder

Powers:

Card: XVII – The Sun (Right-side up is Nelly, Upside-down is Saryn) the constant flipping and rotation of the card changes depending on the personality that is dominant at the time and because of this her skill take on different yet similar effects. Being both the savior and the taker they can be a truly helpful asset when used properly.

Aura of Preservation / Vampire Link: When Nelly is in control she passively has a warm presence that protects and rejuvenates her friends and allies, healing minor wounds, restoring stamina and giving an overall sense of comfort. The shield will absorb a good amount of incoming damage and transfer that energy to become a slightly stronger shield, however if those shields were to break all damage received is reflected upon Nelly while her allies remain untouched.
Sayrn isn’t as giving and it is reflected in this ability that allows her to sap energy, and overall health from anyone she comes into contact with, if she touches someone she choose to connect their very life essence to her draining the target until she cuts the line or the victim dies, this stolen energy gives Sayrn a much stronger shield and healing affect while transferring all received damage to whomever she is linked with dividing it up equally ensuring that she goes unharmed. The amount of energy she steals is completely up to her. The immediate immune system of the poor unfortunate soul to be linked starts to shut down allowing Saryn to enjoy the warmth of another while their shivering in the cold and sickness.

Illumination / Blight: Nelly’s illumination shines brilliantly through even the deepest darkness, lighting the way and even canceling out most minor illusions granting ‘true sight’ to allies around her, the initial wave can even exorcise lesser demons. The true sight only lasts for five minutes while the light can last as long as Nelly needs it.
Sayrn possesses the blight a sickly flame the devours anything, it touches friend or foe consuming both the body and soul, she can channel this flame through her vampire line to cause the target more pain to heal her even faster or mealy incinerate the enemy

History: It’s completely unclear who exactly was the original personality, because Nelly’s name is similar to the name given to the body born it’s usually just easier to assume Nelly came first. The name Naphaline wasn’t given to her by her birthmother as she abandoned the baby in a basket somewhere in the middle of the street, a rather unlucky beginning for a child who was unwillingly brought into this world. Fortune would smile on the infant when she was picked up by a young woman who adopted the child, gave her a house and food even a name albeit a very unorthodox name.

Growing up was decent enough her mom wasn’t the richest person in the world, but she was a hard worker and very loving, Naphaline who didn’t know this woman wasn’t actually her mom looked up to her like a child would its parent and learned from her. Her mom always strived to be more than she was the day before, getting up early every morning and attempted to better herself and become a good role model for her adoptive daughter this kind and caring approach to child raising laid the foundation for the personality known now as Nelly, but her mostly self-motivated reward driven approach to life also helped bring Sayrn into the world however both were still apart of one whole. When it became harder to support herself and her child the woman took to fortune telling as a side job using the tarot cards her mother gave to her from one of her many travels, though she never used "The Sun" and instead gave it to little Naphaline telling her hold it close.

The split between Nelly and Sayrn didn’t actually happen until their mom took deathly ill and Nellphaline was taken away as she wasn’t seen fit to take care of a child anymore. Now that she was away from her parent and living in an orphanage was very lonely, her kind personality was often times taken advantage of by the other kids so she would feel used or abandoned when lying in bed at night hoping her mother would get better; it was on such a night that Nellphaline’s psyche split in two giving birth to Nelly and Sayrn on one way she would never be lonely again and Sayrn could take care of the harder things while Nelly continued to strive for a brighter future in peace while maintaining her innocence. The dividing force between the two was strong enough to trigger the Tarot card “The Sun” allowing the two personalities some form of synchronous harmony.

She would always get bruised and stained while venturing out, much to her mother’s disapproval who still has the idea her daughter is supposed to represent her family, one which has a long history. Robyn sometimes likes to rebel against her mother’s view on the world which in her opinion is archaic, which has made their relation somewhat tense. Robyn now no longer runs off into the woods, but instead has made her escapades into the literary world. The girl loves reading and has developed an above average knowledge about English literature, specializing in what can be seen as the classics: Shakespeare, Mary Shelley, Oscar Wilde...

Gimmick/Theme behind Powers: Storm

Psychological weakness:
It seems the gained ability has come at a price; the once balanced girl is now emotionally unstable. Robyn has developed anger issues and sometimes has panic attacks. The problems seem to have gotten worse after her father’s death. She is starting to fear that at one time she may lose control and, in her words, end up like King Lear.

Powers:
Inheriting her powers from a storm sprite, Robyn is able to manipulate and create both lightning and wind. However, since the storm sprite has passed the powers in the form of a lightning strike, Robyn masters lightning better than wind by a considerable amount. Robyn mostly operates at long range as her powers require charging up. Her powers are greatly influenced by her emotions and vice versa: the longer Robyn uses her powers the more emotionally unstable she gets, mostly resulting in her getting enraged but occasionally in a panic attack.

Lightning Strike – Robyn can cause discharges of electricity, which have effects ranging from devastating to very useful or even lifesaving. Average to larger discharges are easier for Robyn to create as these require little precision and focus. She may use these to harm her enemies or use them on electrical devices or other objects to destroy them. If she concentrates well and charges up long enough, she is able to produce huge bolts of lightning which she may use on large metal constructions to form a barrier. However discharges with this amount of power are very hard to control so Robyn hasn’t fully mastered this yet. Although pointless at first glance, tiny discharges can actually be very helpful: they can be used on electrical objects to activate them (getting through an electrically secured door, starting a car) and even on people to revive them (think defibrillator). Needless to say, these actions are very risky and require utmost precision and patience. Because of this last aspect they aren’t exactly an expertise Robyn; she has very little patience for most things.

Static Electricity – More of a side effect of using her powers than an actual ability. When Robyn charges up the clouds in the area she creates a tension in the air which gives anyone a sense of calamity. People become restless and unfocused.

Whips of Wind and Lightning – Robyn can use her ribbons to lash out at people, empowering them with either electricity and/or giving them a boost or lift using her control over wind. She may also use the ribbons to trip or capture people. Once captured she may then send electricity down the ribbons to shock her opponent.

History:
Robyn was born into one of the wealthier families in England. Her mother originates from a once influential family with a long history and her father was a successful business man. Although the house was spacious to say the least, it was never quiet or empty. There was always someone roaming the chambers and halls of the estate, so Robyn never felt alone. She had her two older brothers to play with and often had children from her school or neighborhood come over. She was a bright, playful child but got somewhat restricted in expressing these characteristics as she was raised to be a representable young lady.

One summer day, Robyn had decided to go on a little camping trip with her friends not too far from home; the estate was adjacent to a large patch of woodland which seemed like the perfect location. However, as the hours went by, dark clouds settled in and before long rumbling could be heard in the distance. The children were in the middle of a game of hide-and-seek when thick drops of rain started to fall from the sky. Robyn was surrounded by pines, stretching out into the sky. She looked around for any trace of the other children while she tried to find her way back to the estate as quickly as possible, but knowing Robyn, she had trailed off way too far from the camping site. With every step she could hear the thunder drawing in and felt the wind increase in speed, tugging at her dress. Filled with fear the little girl ran through the forest, searching for a stretch of plane where the lightning had little chance of striking. Seeing no other options she stopped abruptly, kneeling down and making herself as small as possible. Flashes filled the sky, the air resonating around her like dark voices as she felt her heart beating wildly in her chest. One more burst. That was when she felt an agonizing sting in her chest. The lightning had struck her. Was she going to die? These thoughts flashed by her in what Robyn thought would be her last moments. But they weren’t. The girl survived and she soon understood what had caused this miracle. Initiator of the storm, a sprite had decided to spare the girl and instead give her a part of its power as it deemed her body strong enough to house the energy. Still in shock, it took Robyn a few minutes to regain herself and stand up and walk again, to finally arrive at her house, where she was welcomed by her friends who had luckily all returned safe and sound.

Robyn was eight when this happened. In the mean while things have changed for her. She has since learned of demons and practiced her abilities, albeit more out of boredom than out of need. More importantly though, her situation at home has also altered... Around the age of eleven doctors found out her father was terminally ill after he had collapsed at work. He would not live to see his daughter grow up; they give him two years, but even this estimate turned out to be longer than her father lasted. He passed away nine months into therapy. Her father’s death left the family broken and it was obvious that things would never be the same again. Robyn’s mother gained full custody over the children and inherited her husband’s company. Having her hands full with three adolescents as well as a blooming business, she became more stressed and easier to snap out to people, including her daughter. Robyn in turn lost some of her softness and cheerfulness, replacing it by what can be seen as brashness. It was during these days that the girl sought refuge in her father’s study. At first she came there just to be reminded of her father and the moments they had shared, later she became interested in the large collection of books that he had left behind. This was where her interest in literature was sparked.

At present, Robyn is now fifteen years old and attends high school. She scores around average grades in most subjects, but excels in English and History. She doesn’t have many friends; most of her former friends have left her, some because they have simply moved elsewhere or go to a different school, others for her change in attitude. New friends come scarce as most find her hard to approach. The few friends she has though she cherishes and Robyn is very loyal to them.

Lately something has been stirring inside her, a feeling which cannot be fulfilled. A sensation which she can only describe as wanderlust, a desire for adventure; not just into the imaginary or dream world, but into the wild parts of the human world, the depths of the earth.

Powers: Tali has been gifted with powers from the Tiger Spirit. She is even quicker, stealthier and has a surprising amount of power behind her attacks when transformed. She has super hearing and night vision, just like a cat.

History: Tali always liked animals. Even as a child she could often be found in the park crouched next to a dog, sitting in a tree peacefully with birds or picking up lost frogs from the street and returning them to water. She would wonder in the forest alone, just looking around and exploring with her calm but quick climbing up trees, through thickets and across long stretches of marshland. She belonged among the roots, leaves, and wind that much she knew.

One day she was sitting on a log and looking up at the sky. A strange bird flew across her vision, much faster than most of them she had ever seen. She hopped to her feet and followed after its shadow. She ducked under branches, over stones and through thick leaves. She burst through the edge of the thicket and watched as it crossed over a cliff -stopping before she fell. She peered over the side. It was a long way down with a thin river at the bottom. She looked back up to see the strange bird nearly out of site. She looked down the river to see a wooden log stretching the distance, old roots having long been pulled out.

She walked over to it timidly and put a foot on it. It didn’t move whatsoever. She balanced on it and hopped up and down but the strong wood held tightly together. She looked over the length of it. It wasn’t too far, and the base was wide enough for her to stand on with both feet. She fell to her knees and began to crawl across, carefully but smoothly. She focused herself on the soft breeze, the sun to her left. Halfway there. She pressed on, curious more than anything to see the other side. Before she could think, before she could react the tree complained. The branches made horrible twisting and popping noises. These moments seemed to go frame-by-frame. She had a sudden feeling of weightlessness and then a heavy hit on her back.

It was dark out, this much she knew, but she could see just fine. She was laying on soft grass and could hear someone mowing their lawn. As soon as she shifted, they stopped.

’Hello,’ a calm, smooth but unfamiliar voice said.
She tried to move but every muscle in her body ached, refused.
’Please, conserve your energy,’ the voice said, she heard shifting on the ground. In fact, she heard everything quite well. The bark on trees shifting over the centre, the wings of a nearby moth. She closed her eyes, overwhelmed. She felt a presence beside her. She forced her eyes open again.

Above her was the face of a tiger. Just its head filled her entire vision, its nose alone was nearly the size of her head. She did not gasp, she was not afraid. She felt at home, even more so than the room she normally slept in. A quiet thought crossed her mind, You saved me, didn’t you?

’Yes,' the voice said before the tiger turned and walked away with heavy feet. She closed her eyes and felt the vibrations through the ground until she could not sense them anymore, then fell asleep once again.

Her parents had grounded Tali for being out all night but she refused to tell them what happened. How could she? Something happened that night that even she couldn’t understand. Her clothes were tattered into pieces, her body had been exhausted for days but she was left without a scratch. She decided to continue life as normal.

Anybody who seemed a little different would, of course, have their bullies. She was strange to them and she understood that they weren’t smart enough to realise that they were strange to her. She decided to ignore them. A girl with blonde hair tied up high behind her head came up to her and tripped her - She didn’t need to look up to know it was Ashley. She walked off cackling like a crow as Tali stayed on the floor on her hands and knees. Her right eye began to ache and she covered it. She heard the girl’s footsteps as she walked away, she heard the door open behind her, she heard voices all around her. Her eyes glazed over.

She stood. Some kid leaning against her locker gasped and covered her mouth, pointing at Tali. She shot her a glare then slinked through the crowd until she stood on the window sill. They were on the second story. The hallway quieted its chatter and people craned their heads to look at her. A girl screamed, threatening to call a teacher.

Tali looked over her shoulder, her scarred golden eye glistening then leapt.

Personality: Greedy to a fault, this human turned demon always wants more: More food, more money, more power. She hates anyone who gets in her way, aka magical children, since they prevent her from stealing more stuff. With a ravenous appetite for things and power she wants to become an unstoppable juggernaut and even become a ruler one day. She can be extremely stubborn and persistent when she wants to be, not liking to let go of any goal in sight if she can help it.

Powers:

Corruption: Like any demon she has the power to corrupt humans. The corruption increases at the greatest rate when she is striking her opponents, kind of like pounding the poison into them.

Rock Solid: On top of her natural physical physique is her demonic strength. Capable of lifting cars with relative ease her strength is not to be underestimated. It is useful both for fighting and for taking stuff for herself. She is also quite tough and can take a wrecking ball to the face, well if it doesn’t catch her off guard anyway.

Earth Manipulation: Her demonic power is greatly attuned to the Earth, allowing her to manipulate the ground at least partially to her will. For example: she can cause special tremors by stomping her feet which get directed toward her target to knock them off balance. She can mold the earth, including things such as concrete, to her will in limited quantities and at best 2 meters from her person. This includes things like making the earth jut up like a spear, causing the ground to shift and crack, and fashioning pieces of earth into makeshift projectiles and weapons, like hammers and clubs.

History: Francesca Wells was actually quite an athlete when she was human. She grew up in an ok family, had some issues but nothing she couldn’t handle. From a young age she was interested in sports and pursed them with a passion. Soon enough she was a triathlete, competing in big competitions and holding her own. Then came the sponsors, then came the greed.

It started simply at first, taking some money on the side from the sponsorships, investing a little here and there. One thing led to another, fancy clothes, jewelry, a new car, pretty soon whatever caught her fancy she would go out of her way to get, but it was never enough. As her appetite grew and her tastes grew more expensive she started to really mess around. One day though she messed around too much and exposed some of her illicit dealings to the public.

The community was rightfully, quite appalled at her actions and soon measures were taken against her. Medals were taken away, her sponsors all abandoned her, and her reputation was thoroughly dragged through the mud. Enraged at the ‘injustice’ given to her she went on a bit of a rampage and got arrested. Brought down to Earth with nothing to her name anymore, she was visited by a demon who promised her the power to get back everything that was taken from her.

Feeling it was the only way, she quickly accepted the offer and was transported to the Demon World to be thoroughly corrupted and changed. With all her negative feelings at the time it didn’t take long and soon she was rampaging about as a demon, taking what she wanted without remorse.

Her first action as a new demon was to retrieve the medals that were taken from her, and bash in some heads along the way. She's been at this game now for 3 years.

History:
Elizabeth has always wanted to fly and when she was younger, but she took her dream too far. When she was five years old, she jumped off a small building’s roof and ended up in a coma for three years. From some kind of miracle Elizabeth awoke from her coma during the midst of night. She tried to get out of her bed, and fell over. She lost all control over her muscles, so she needed to do some rehab for a while. That didn’t succeed so she was put on a medication in testing. Those allowed her muscles to rebuild with little side effects for now.

Time past from her being eight years old to her being sixteen. Elizabeth was at school doing her work when a fire alarm goes off and everyone was rushing to the closest exits. Something weird was that Elizabeth could see people escaping through the exit and not coming out the other side… Something odd was happening. Elizabeth hid under a table trying not to get involved. Suddenly Elizabeth, collapsed into slumber. Demons invaded the school and took what people that were alive towards there portals to the Demon World.

Elizabeth was being dragged towards the portal by her leg, her face hitting every single bump in the floor of the school. She awoke to the demon, and panicked. A bit of water splashed the demon’s face. The demon didn’t panic, instead it picked speed up the pace. Elizabeth resisted to the best of her ability, grabbing everything in her path to distract the demon long enough for an escape. After countless failed attempts, she succeeded and hid in a science lab cupboard. It wasn’t long till she was found again and this time rather than anything like water attacking, a scythe summons in Elizabeth’s hands. She swung the scythe without thinking really. She hid for a few days surviving on water and whatever she could find in other ex-student’s lockers to eat. She left the school that week, a new person.

Elizabeth has set up base in the ex-school. She hasn’t returned home since the day of the incident as she is scared of what her parents might say or if they weren’t waiting for her. She tries to keep herself hidden during the day as she doesn’t want to have a narcolepsy event and be captured.

Personality: Nya is an eager girl, always trying to look recognition in others through willingness and hardwork. She rarely talks about her true emotions, keeping a masquerade of almost neurotic behaviour, but deep down she's a rather awkward and shy girl, terrified of rejection. She doesn't really harbour much illwill to the demons, and at times she seems to sympathize with them. However she tries her hardest as a magical girl in order to find the recognition and acceptance she yearns for.

Gimmick/Theme behind Powers: Eldritch Abominations
Psychological weakness: Nya's most glaring weakness is the fear of her less than human side, and also fearing of being rejected because of her true nature. Using her most powerful attacks also takes a toll on her sanity and she can grow increasingly psychotic.

Eldritch Grimoire

Fire of Tulzscha: Her most basic spell, it is a simple hand-sized fireball which can be launched at a target. Because of the eldritch nature of the fire, it also seems to erode in addition to burning.

Silver Spear of Yog Shothoth: Her actual finisher spell, Nya spends a brief time chanting before unleashing a spear of an unknown, alien substance (either described as silver fire or a liquid metal) capable of piercing any kind of armor and searing through the thoughest of defenses. However its rather taxing execution only makes it suitable as a finisher or as a sniping attack.

Arcane Symbol: Nya can carve a symbol in any surface, and impart it with her essence. Said symbol will now ward off supernatural attacks that hit the nearby surface for a while, although repeated attacks will wear the symbol down.

Summoning: Nya can summon eldritch creatures, however due to her inexperience and lack of maturity she can only summon baby versions, which are more fit for support tasks than actual combat. She can summon baby shoggoths for cleaning, infant fire vampires for lighting, tiny deep ones for underwater tasks, etc...

Anomalous body

Tentacle: Nya can summon a tentacle in any part of her body that can be swung like a whip and hits with the force of a crocodile tail. She is hesitant to use this, however, as the sheer gross factor of it can creep even demons.

Spawn Body: Nya's body has rather good regeneration properties, and she can regenerate and reattach broken bones and limbs rather quick. However, the proccess of regeneration also shows her inhuman part in the form of myriads of wormlike tendrils closing the wound. Due to this fact, conventional attacks and suffocation will only at most knock her out. Magical attacks, however, are perfectly capable of disrupting this process. Corruption also affects Nya in a peculiar way. The more corruption she stacks, the less human she'll appear to be, with black veins appearing all over, eyes in places where do not belong, wriggling tentacles, an elongated whiplike tongue... It also makes her appear more psychotic as the corruption progresses...but also immune to demonic control and sway. She becomes far too alien to control. Corrupting her completely will turn her into a hideous abomination: The spawn of Nyarlathotep, whose allegiance would be unknown.

History: Nya was born to a single mother, alcohol and a single-night stand. Wracked with guilt and sorrow of an ever spiraling life, Nya's mother rejected the child and committed suicide not soon after, calling her something that should not have been born. She was transferred to an orphanage, where she was tutored and fed acceptable. Nya wasn't very talkative by then, but soon, with the care of other kids, she came out from her shell little by little. Even if her own mother had not accepted them, others had done so. That was a feeling she craved desperatedly, eventually becoming an overeager energetic brat who was always doing things for others, and pestering people.

And orphanages are very well known demon magnets. The tragedy occurred. Children died, adults died, and a half dead Nya was crawling on the ground with only one useable arm, the blood from her wounds leaving a red trail as she desperately tried to get away from the beasts. Her vision blurred, and she hallucinated.

A man appeared, with dark eyes and dark clothes, amidst the demons. Some of them lunged on the man, but were pierced and tossed aside by an unknown force. The man knelt before the dying Nya, and produced in his gloved hands a dusty tome, gently sliding it towards Nya as he opened the pages. He nudged her face gently, showing a warm, or perhaps mischievous smile of pearly white teeth.

"Happy 15th anniversary, my child."

Nya couldn't understand. She focused on reading the book, full of alien scribbles, but somehow familiar. And the world went black.

She woke up, covered in blood, both her and of the creatures on herself. The man was nowhere to be found. Nor were the creatures, beyond their mangled bodies. A dark feeling clutched on her chest. Somehow, she knew she had been the one who had fought the demons back. And somehow, she knew that such mysterious man was her father. Her long lost father. And that he wasn't in the least human.

Nor she was either.

In the aftermath, Nya was transfered to another facility, where she came to terms with her...less than human side and decided to put it to good use with all the demons roaming about. Hoping, that perhaps, it wasn't too late to relive that feeling of acceptance she once had.

Personality: Hissy isn’t most demons she likes to play the long game with her victims, shrewd and calculating Hyestia thinks life itself is one big game of chess. When speaking, she does so in a calm way, letting each word just flow off her long tongue her words can cut deeper than any sword could showing she can be extremely cold towards magical girls and fellow demons. She is also different from other demons in the fact she has a clear need to meditate while waiting for something to happen to plot out her next course of action or just to clear her head.

Powers:
Hypnotic suggestion / Hypnotism: Hissy’s eyes are strange, at first glance they appear to be regular eyes of a snake, but the more one looks at them you could swear that they turn into spirals and spin at strange harmonizing intervals and compel the beholder to keep staring. Hissy can use this ability to hypnotize victims to plant hypnotic suggestions into the poor things subconscious and send them back out with no memory to watch them unknowingly accomplish her agenda. She can also toy with someone’s sense of been changing their perception of reality in whatever was she sees fit. The best way to avoid this is to just not look into her eyes or at least avoid prolonged eye to eye contact as she needs to have undivided attention for at least five seconds to compel continued staring.

Serpent physiology: Hissy’s body is at least part snake thus giving her the abilities of a snake as proportional someone her size including but not limited to, camouflage, due to the constricting power of certain snakes Hestia’s physical prowess is heightened, mild poison generation, dermal and Exo scale armor creation.

Sentinel hatchling: Hyestia’s entire body creates snakes from magic and allows them to live in a coexisting way within her body or anyone else allowing her to communicate or locate anyone therein, however, they have to be exchanged mouth to mouth as the snakes cannot live outside of a body for more than a few seconds.

Hydra: The only offensive thing Hissy knows is the ability to partly summon four heads of her pet hydra when one head is damaged or killed the portal closes and she has to take some time to reopen it for another to work its way through.

History:

Back when mankind was still trying to work its way through the evolutionary process, there was a forest none of the primitives would go near as nothing that went into hunt ever came out. One tribe lived on the outer edge of the forest itself, there young would wander in ignoring their parent’s warnings as all little ones do only to never come back as they had feared. This happened so much they were forced to leave, but not before the chief’s daughter was spirited away, the decision to send all their hunters to track down the girl would prove ultimately the worst decision of their short lived primitive lives. It was broad daylight and the hunters pressed deeper into the forest with no real success at finding the girl… or anything for that matter.

No wildlife could be seen in a lush, dense forest this place didn’t seem to have a single animal inside the quiet was completely unsettling. One of them spotted what looked like the girl and alerted the others, they pressed forward running through the brush to catch up eventually but the girl was vacant and pale as if she had been a walking corpse. The trees started to rustle all around them and got closer, the girls face curled up into a smile as she looked behind the group when they turned to face the source of the nightmare beheld a massive python stretching endlessly until its body reaches up into the tress

Character traits:

She's particularly neutral, but that doesn't mean she's not going to do anything for the benefit of herself... Remember she's going to be alive forever, and while her mind might give out before the universe goes poof, If what you're going to do is going to make her time here more crappy than it already is, then she's going to damn well do something about it.

She has never met another immortal before, or at least a similarly long lived being that she can relate and talk to... Like really, she can't talk to them 6000 year old trees, even though they're actually older than she is... As such what kindness she's found in herself drives her to prolong the life of a lot of people she meets... She'd save someone even if it means she has to go through the pain of death...

While she is afraid of the fact that she will outlive any friend she makes, she still cherishes that memory, even if she's liable to forget at some point in her endless life.

Related to the point above, her recent (relatively speaking, she started doing it a few hundred years ago) strive for intellect is due to her self appointed purpose of just preserving such knowledge and achievements of humans along with any memories she makes along the way.

Can get really cranky, especially when a past, unsavory memory decides to remind her that it happened. Really the human mind wasn't meant to take two and a half millennia of experiences especially when those include dying, in many colourful varied and horrific ways... It doesn't help that any friend she's ever made before, she had to leave behind.

Powers:

Okay so my defining supernatural aspect is... I am IMMORTAL... Insert generic evil laugh here... And yeah, sounds awesome, I certainly did think so the first ten years after becoming one... And then I died... Yup, you read that right, I'm an Immortal that dies... Turns out my form of Immortality is really retarded, might as be a cruel joke than an actual gift... Say I get stabbed, and if that doesn't get any medical attention, I'd die from either losing too much blood or internal bleeding... Then after I die, I pop into existence into the world, as naked as I was born and here I am looking at my previous lifeless body, lying in a pool of my own blood. And as if that's not horrific enough, My new body still has lingering agony from what killed the last one...

An interesting thing I found about my body however is that my blood has a restorative effect but it's nowhere near what you'd expect of immortals of legend. Lop my arm of and that's not growing back... Cut me or stab me, and it does only take hours instead of days to heal, any worse than that and I'd probably be better off dying and getting a fresh-ish body... Now I cannot make someone else Immortal and I'm sure I don't want to since this just terrible, I could still help rejuvenate them with my blood.

As if there wasn't enough bad things about this already, I still have caveats... Since I became Immortal when I was twenty two summers old and back then I was concerned about being ladylike and beautiful, not surviving till the end of time... When I get reborn I'm put back to the state I was then, so any muscle mass I've built up with the previous body is about as useless as it could be...

If you want to be immortal... Just make sure it's not like mine, coz this literally sucks arse... At this point I actually think that the Ambrosia I ate was rotten...

Aside from that, I've used my vast if not pockmarked knowledge to figure out a way to be able to defend myself especially when freshly reborn since I would be completely nude and the only resource available to me is my own body... Martial arts can only get me so far... I basically studied science to learn magic, yes it's retarded I know but if you ain't got any spells to start with and the only resource you have is your own body then the best news to hear is the relationship between mass and energy...

Yes I literally annihilate the atoms of the cells of my own body to get short intermittent boosts in energy, far more energy than a normal human's metabolism... Far FAR more...But hey, what have I got to lose, If I'm desperate enough to use this then I'm probably going to die if I don't use it as well. Damned if I do, Damned if I don't... Oh and yes... it's VERY PAINFUL... I have a high pain tolerance from a lot of dying but literally turning my body into energy, atom by atom ranks as one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. Convert ALL my atoms to energy and I'm basically a bomb...

History:

Born in one of the Greek city states in 510 B.C. Iska B. Averoff, who most definitely had a different name back then was one of the Pythia, otherwise known today as the Oracle of Delphi. Supposedly able to see visions sent by the gods. Though she has no doubt that it was true since this is when a dove delivered to her an ambrosia. Quite literally the food of the gods.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure that dove gave me a rotten ambrosia!!!"

She soon got to test her supposed immortality during the September 21st Persian sack of Athens... Without going into details, she get's assaulted, and then killed... That's when she found the horrific truth about her supposed gift... She spent a good hour and a half staring at her own corpse both amazed and horrified.

This started a gradual change in her. Her unique if not terrible form of immortality and the fact that the last twenty three hundred years weren't particularly favorable for women turned her from a delicate priestess and oracle to an emotional nervous wreck. A great amount of hardships and multiple deaths beat her, but it did not break her. She recovered, to suffer anew. And this terrible cycle continued on and on till the turn of the 19th century where she actually managed to not die for it's duration.

At that point she was barely the person she was. She behaved differently, she spoke differently, yet she still looked as she did the moment she swallowed the ambrosia. This was the start of her pursuit of proper intellectual knowledge. While she had absorbed the teachings, culture, beliefs, wisdom and knowledge of the ages past, she never made it her agenda. Now however, be it an epiphany or just a random decision, she started striving for knowledge. Put her immortality to some use other than just getting by through the ages. Someone who would at least try to remember and preserve through her being the memories and achievements of humans.

She continued this well into modern times, She went to universities, studied everything from history to chemistry and even penned some books under her current alias. It was also thanks to this newfound knowledge that she was able to create a spell that directly converted the user's matter into energy. Something she could call her own, not just some rotten fruit that bestowed flawed gifts...
