[OOC] Malfunction -- The RP Where Having Superpowers Sucks

@DarkwolfX37: Ogobrogo was about to PM you, I believe. More details from him, but... we don't think that this power would QUITE work with the setting. Poor kid would be put down like a dog, assuming that he didn't float off into space and die before he even got to the Test center.

Perhaps you could choose a different power? We'd love to have you, and there's plenty that would work that aren't, well, vector bending.

Yeah, I figured. I was hoping it would be "oh but if we can get this kid to obey us it'd be worth it" but I can also see how it would be "fuck that let's just starve him to death."

Now I've got to think up a new one... I considered electrokinesis but I'm not sure yet. Cryokinesis would be fun, or some totally useless power like "this person's urine makes plants grow super strong somehow."

I'm gonna end up with like 30 power sets I want to use by the end of this I can already tell...

Trying to come up with unique new ones but they're all either too stupid or have the same problems as vector manipulation...

I did, but they're all... generic. I've got a few generic ones I'm toying with, but I'm also trying to come up with something new and horrible to the character, hehe. I'll be giving you three like... 12 power sets at once of varying levels of insanity involved in their creation so hopefully at least a couple will stick to choose from.

Please, don't bother!! Our policy is that you can have as many characters as you want, but we don't want anyone to have characters that they DON'T want, or that they can't handle posting regularly for.

So don't worry about it! Really, one character is absolutely perfect.

Vomit projectiles anyone? Using your bones to conceive strange artificial creatures whilst being able to regenerate ribs at a quicker pace? Or maybe they have the ability to breathe underwater forever!... and that's just it.

So many possibilities! Bile eroding teeth! Constant blood and pain, along with a chance of death, and not being able to breathe on land!

Apologies for having to break this to you, but your intentional cruelty doesn't even compare to the accidental cruelty I've the potential to inflict using the power sets I've thought up. Luckily for the character, one of them was rejected for being too special, hehe.

It's funny that you call them "well thought out" because I literally just found some pics of Deviantart/Tumblr I liked and shat out some characters based around 'em. lol

But, taking school and writers block into account, it took me like four days to write them all.

@Mr Allen J Dang, kid! You must write often ,then! I'm trying to get back some of my writer's brain. After two years of not writing creatively, it's a bit of a struggle to get all of the necessary details in on the first go. But that's what PM's are for, I supose. :)

Question: Will the RP start with the characters arriving at freak camp, or will they have been there for some time? Just asking so I can think about how April'll feel about all these other characters.

Though I'm pretty sure she'll be real friendly with the boy who can heal her injuries. :p
