That's correct. But I'm not about to turn down a really strong character sheet if it's got a fantastic character in it.

About as long as a human being's, theoretically. In practice, they tend to die around 30-40 because they kill each other off. The greatest of them often live to be around 70 before they're finally killed off by someone stronger.
