Like the hell is he gonna do when like... Vader or Reinhardt show up? What, point his AK-47 and try to shoot them? If that's the case... well... he's dead.

I think the GM wants you to have a more serious character...

I don't think this rp is just about fighting, Yidha did say it was a sandbox style rp so I can see non powered characters doing their own stuff.

I highly doubt this rp is meant as a di** measuring contest with powerful characters

I'm no GM... but comparing him to the other characters in this RP... I really don't think he'd fit. I could be wrong, maybe he could fit... but seeing she hasn't mentioned to legibility of said character... I doubt she'd accept it. But I may be wrong so who knows.

By the standards of most speculative fiction, normal guns aren't going to get you far. If the answer to "am I going to end up shooting someone who doesn't deserve it?" is yes and there's bulletproof characters around, it's going to end poorly.

I didn't really intend for him to be an action orientated character. He has weapons since his character in the show has them, but I intended for him to be a humorous character.

See "no gag characters". If they're there solely for humour, it fails one test. If they're serious and gonna get killed, it's probably not a good choice. XD

To be fair, Pepsiman can destroy Reinhardt in a 1v1 fight, its not even a contest. Vader would wreck him, but Vader wrecks almost everyone if we're honest xD. Need a cartoon to defeat Vader, since Vader can just force choke anyone who needs air, or lightsaber those who don't.

I agree with you. If your going to say sandbox, you gotta be accepting of both walks of life. If your only doing 'super serious' this RP will not go far anyway. I know this from past experience. A balance of Comedy and Serious is needed for a good story.

I would recommend a 'gag' character that can also stand up on their own. Hence Pepsiman works really well as he fits both criteria. (If I'm not allowed to use a cartoon >.>)

Gag characters are... gags. They don't work in RPs. Even RPs intended to be humourous.

I don't mind people with guns, that is fine. That will get you places in Phoria that others wouldn't be able too. It is just, I don't think characters made to be funny gags really fit with the theme of the RP. I honestly wouldn't have minded a comic-relief character, but then a bunch of gag-characters showed up, so it is best to play it safe so there aren't any misunderstandings.

It is going to be very sandbox, and I really want the characters themselves to be a driving force! Feel free to mold this RP how you like, though within reason!

when you say sandbox then it is very easy for people to assume that all ideas are on the table as long as they aren't OP

But Vader isn't immortal... or has like crazy and ridiculous ways to heal himself up. Besides, he can still be beaten through normal means.

Welp I can tell you right now. Your lack of acceptance for anything that doesn't fit your 'view of the world' in a multiverse RP that you yourself claim is an open sandbox means this RP isn't going anywhere and will die off pretty quickly. I've seen it happen many times before. your not the first, nor will you be the last.

Eh, Vader has super telekenisis and spider sense so hes pretty tricky to deal with if you can't overpower him. But I'm thinking Extended Universe stuff here where Palpotene can move entire star dsetroyers across the galexy using his own made wormholes using the force so yeah.

And Deadpool is a prime example of a good comedy character. Used for both comedy AND serious and effective at both! I mean, by that logic, most Anime characters don't work from the good animes because they're goofy and comedic, like say, Luffy or Goku. Yet those characters will make far more money than most generic 'serious' characters could ever hope to match as they are more endeering and relatable.
