In the name of helping y'all know what your facing to react and whatnot I will be posting a post this evening from the perspective of our host.

@mattmanganon Nebulon Bs do have some Hangar space (though we've kinda crammed it full) which is where the fighters came from, some ops call for jumping from hyperspace but in this particular case we just launched. Simply as we didn't know the exact moment the fighting would start, which makes it hard to know when to drop out. Too early and you ruin the op, too late and the Keep would already be slag.

Sorry. Didn't notice that part. It was a case of "I thought they said launch from hangar, but a Nebulon doesn't have enough hangar space to carry 3 squadrons of Fighters" I'll go edit that.

@mattmanganon Most Nebs were retrofit in one way or another, though while most vessels the rear end was cleared out for medical room ours has been hollowed out a bit for a Hangar. It isn't as structurally stable as a traditional model (Weaker in the rear end than your standard neb b) but it lets us field more fighters, there's also a squadron of Bombers to take into account.

Can't forget coold old @Sundered Echo and his Y-Wings.

Well, it was more a case of the A-Wings and X-Wings being launched first. I was going to add the Y-Wings being launched in the next post. Although, now that I think about it, it would make more sense to tack that onto the end of my current post.

See, now i'm stuck in a quandry of which Fighter group i'd like to join:

A-Wings are unmanned at the moment and would give me the most freedom of character creation
X-Wings are the ones that she, in character, would most want to use. They are the perfect blend of speed and firepower.
Y-Wings are my personal favourites. Always loved them.

What to do?

@Gunther As I kinda detail in my OOC notes at the bottom of my post detailing the enemy troop movements... never underestimate a fringer type mercenary who feels backed into a corner (and who may literally be backed into a corner).

Boarders:

All pathways are now sealed, except between the bridge and the lower hangar (suspicious huh?) and the escape pods.

In the open passageways, a group of 15+ Stormtroopers (Red shoulder pauldron leading as a sign of rank)

Mercs will also be running towards the pods, trying to get through the doors as the abandon ship alarm will be going off.
