Skills:
Singing - Kimiko has always loved to sing, but her father has limited her to mostly folk songs or ceremonial / religious music. Any other music has been deemed as sacrilegious to perform at the Shinto Shrine.

Tarot Reading - One of the ways Kimiko makes money for the Shrine is to perform Tarot readings for those who wish to know how the gods favor them. She’s gotten fairly good at it, and will even perform readings for friends (first one is free of charge!).

Cleaning - Kimiko is required to fully clean the Shinto Shrine quite frequently. As their lodging is adjacent to the Shrine, she also cleans the house just as often. She also generally makes the meals as well. Her father is a lousy cook, and Kimiko’s skills at cooking are passable, but not amazing.

Studying - Kimiko has excellent self-discipline, and has little other to do with her spare time than to clean and study. As such, she is typically near the top of her class. In addition, many more difficult subjects seem to naturally just come to her.

Katana - As part of the rituals of welcoming in the morning sun, Kimiko practices several ceremonial poses that mimic martial arts. This is often done without weapons, but the movements are translatable to stances in martial arts. Kimiko also reads a lot and has practiced stances with her father’s ceremonial sword. That said, she has little practical experience fighting.

Appearance:
Outside school, Kimiko wears a white haori (kimono jacket) and red hakama (baggy divided trousers), the standard dress of a miko. She ties her hair back with a red ribbon, and wears red geta (wooden sandals) and white tabi (socks). She has naturally blonde hair and green eyes, as does her father (although his hair is graying now).

Kimiko is 158 cm (5’ 8”) tall and weighs 55 kg (120 lb). She is a little chubbier than she would like to be due to her mostly sedentary lifestyle, and it mostly collects in her belly. She is short, but appears smaller than even her height would indicate, as she tries to avoid calling attention to herself.

Personality:
Soft-spoken, but very confident in herself, Kimiko is a very trustworthy companion. She almost always uses formal language, and resists being called by nicknames or endearing honorifics (like -chan). To most of her classmates, Kimiko may seem very bland and boring. Although she may seem predictable, there is growing resentment inside which she sometimes fails to contain.

Biography:
Kimiko is the daughter of Maita Eisen, a Shinto priest, and is his miko (shrine maiden). Because she is a miko, Kimiko must follow the traditions of Shinto-ism and must remain pure in all ways, but she is very unhappy with the choice her father has forced upon her. She often feels like her youth is being repressed by Eisen’s excessive rules and extreme definition of “purity.” However, she believes it is not her place to stand against her father and instead has dedicated all of her efforts to improving her studies and her singing. Some of Kimiko’s miko duties involve offering incense to the goddess of the shrine, reading fortunes for paying customers, and cleaning the shrine constantly.

I'm curious would it be alright to add a list of skills that can be learned throughout the RP in the CS if you want to? I think it would be a fun thing to do while we wait?

Doing that also pulls in the consideration of what each characters ultimate persona will be since they'll evolve along the way and their set... or I would like to think it does that.

Abilities do seem like a thing that would be affected by character growth yeah; I guess you could think of how your characters could possibly change and what would accompany that, but it's probably not going to be a set in stone thing. Feel free to have some fun coming up with some possible skilll developments though.

Or maybe talk about whether or not your chars knoow each other.

Considering there are only seven people, it shouldn't be too hard to establish character relationships... and I'm pretty sure most people would dislike Alexander's callous nature, so there is that :P

With Yuuhei being Yuuhei, there's a good chance that most people have at least heard of him, as the investigations conducted by the president of the Newspaper Club are anything but subtle. I can especially see him attempting to interview the athletic members of our cast, as he would likely have a hand in the reporting for the various competitions they compete in.

@Savo And should Yuuhei ever meet him, he would definitely try and see if Alex actually has a soft gooey center under his rough outer shell.

Well I was thinking of Ryoma's current possible moveset being more of what he learns without Social links. As I'm planning on changing his moveset depending on what happens throughout the RP though SL's

Now on to this topic.

Ryoma has a bunch of rumors surrounding him, all of them give him an image of an intimidating delinquent. So he doesn't have many friends outside the archery club, even then, he's only close to a few members of the club. So any friends of Ryoma's either ignore the rumors or are brave enough to see if the rumors are true, which they are not by a long shot.

@Bornlucky I'm on the fence for this one, considering there are rumors being stimulated and spun around for Alex as well, I'm a bit on the fence for this one considering it could go both ways. Either there could be solace in knowing neither are alone, or they both could be hypocrites that are dissuaded by rumors.

Interesting, maybe Alex could be a part of that club or possibly join kendo later on.

I was totally not planning on having him be denied by some clubs due to them setting unrealistic expectations for Alex as a "ha, how does that feel" to him or just being a little too wary.
