I am sorry, but I will like to officially drop. This is currently my only RP and it has not been captivating me. My staying will probably hurt this RP more than me leaving.

See ya around.

Bye friend.

On a side note, what are the curse words in this world? I feel like Regina is going to be internally, and externally, angry and bitter forever at this rate. Much like how her father is haha.

If this was Sci Fi I'd say go Battlestar Galatica vernacular, but for fantasy...Hmm, actually, with how much I see Regina cursing in the future, just go with Galactica. Fuck is Frack, everything is else is fine. Swearing 'My God' is 'By the Imperator!' etc.

Alright another question: is there enough supplies on hand to make small improvised pressure mines for an expert in booby traps? If so, how much time would probably be needed to make them?

No, the cadets were sent on a mission that did entail entrenched defenses or ambush against superior numbers, IE, no reason to bring those sorts of explosives. And that's not even questioning the feasibility of making those in the first place with the available technology of the times, because there certainly isn't the time to do that in any safe manner.

So what kind of supplies did it seem the soldiers have on hand? What is around environment-wise of note?

That kind of question is a bit hard to answer since I wasn't planning to put so much thought on trivial details. Coming up with a complete list of stuff they have there is more complicated than it seems. The only thing I know is that they are light on gear and supplies; they mission is a short one, indeed. But they should have pretty much any normal kind of gear you'd expect from soldiers.

In the end, it's better if you are more specific about this question. Answering "what they have around?" is considerably harder than answering "they have artillery shells hanging around in plain sight?" The answer for this is no, by the way. Do you get what I mean?

Yeah, very understandable. To be specific I'm wondering if they have something that can boom boom and collapse the building mentioned in the post. They wouldn't be equipped for artillery obviously but maybe they have gunpowder or something that can explode.

Well the Scouts certainly didn't bring any of that, considering Regina is the only one who uses ballistics and even she has a Vassal for it, so carrying gunpowder is a rather low priority when trekking through the wilderness. The dead marauders may have stood a better chance in possessing it considering they had far more gunners, but this wasn't so much an established base of operations as it was a temporary encampment of convenience while they plotted against the cadets. Perhaps they had more then just the munitions carried with them, though with the corpses shredded to giblets and no time to scout the interior of the structures before hand, you'd have to actively go looking in the vain hope of finding a few powder horns or somesuch.

Really, this kind of spontaneous Boss engagement isn't the best for traps, though think of it like this; Regina can always point back to this instance as to why they should always stock up on explosives in the future.

Actually, the guns that everyone uses are supposed to be cartridge based, but still manual operated (i.e.:bolt/lever action, for example, mostly bolt). They really are advanced equipment, like I described before (remember, one of the enemies in the first fight even had a break action grenade launcher). With that in mind, carrying gunpowder is kinda pointless.

Yeah, but I don't have any traps in mind aside from collapsing that already wrecked building onto the boss. Though now that you mention it I guess Regina would also learn to carry a secondary weapon or even a third due to her vessel's inability to effectively do continous shots before being downed for a while.

@KoL
I wasn't there for that but grenade launcher?! Bolt Action?! I can't help but smile at the mere mention of these! Is the fragmentation grenade or equivalent invented and mass issued?
