Personality:

Severa appears laid back at first glance and generally aloof, upon first introductions. Though she does aim to appear impressive and even admired by her peers. She generally seems like she doesn't care about much but there is one piece to the contrary. As it happens, Severa has plenty of buttons to push and as a result, is probably one of the more easier people to piss off. Although sometimes she is regretful for her short fuse but not all the time. There is an underlining sense of heroism in her, as she generally believes people should be honest and honorable, but sometimes she misses her mark when she is in a fit of rage.

Background:

Severa is the product of an accidental pregnancy between an American and a Japanese. It may sound unflattering but that was the realty as her mother hooked up with an American man while she was visiting the United States. Even though Severa was unplanned, her mother decided to carry the pregnancy to full term as Severa's mother met another man, a rich, foreign tycoon, who promised a happy life for both. The young family spent a lot of time traveling around and enjoying the satisfying life that wealth had brought them. That wasn't to say they didn't have their troubles. Severa had always been aware of her supposed father's indifference to her even though her mother told her "not to worry about it". It wasn't until later in life that she found out.

Though the circumstances were odd, Severa was not told anything until she was twelve, after pressing her mother excessively. Even then, she only knows the bare bones of that story. Still, it was enough of an impression for Severa to develop her attitude of resentment and bitterness towards her parents. This rebellious attitude kindled under the certain negative influences of a friend until finally they caught up to her. Due to a bit of maliciousness, she never passed her entry exam at her local hero institution and instead had to seek enrollment at Kosei. Though if you ask Severa, it was her first choice to come here due to the more aggressive means of advancement and experience.

Quirk:

Phantom Menace
Transformation Quirk. Severa has the ability to secrete a transparent but visible ethereal vaporous gas form (pictured below) that she can transfer her consciousness to, leaving her physical body behind. Being a gas, Severa can fly and float with relative ease, and being ethereal means that things that happen on a physical plane can no longer touch this form. Essentially, Severa can phase through walls and be unaffected by physical attacks. However, Severa can, provided she concentrates, bring her vaporous gas to the physical plane, allowing her to interact physical with things. Furthermore, Severa can grab an object or person and bring them back with her to the ethereal plane, meaning that thing or person will no longer be impacted by the physical world. The person or object is immediately returned to physical state once contact with Severa is broken.

There are limitations and a significant weakness to Severa's Quirk. There is a limit to the size and weight of an object she can't make ethereal. A rough estimate puts that limit at the average sized human. There is also no threat of death if someone was released in another object, like a wall. Instead, one would find themselves trapped. Severa's weakness is that her physical body is left behind and since her consciousness goes along with her vaporous form, her physical body is left as if it were a soulless wandering husk. Damage to Severa's physical body will also harm her vaporous form, at least she'll perceive it so.

There is another additional note about the Phantom Menace Quirk. It is that Severa must mutate (usually her hand as pictured above) in order to secrete the vaporous gas. This mutated flesh appears burned with crystals coming out of her skin. Though interesting to look at, it appears that mutation is simply a cause to the effect of the gas and in itself, appears entirely mundane.

Severa's family is rich and lives rather well with no apparent sign of her being cut off. It is also because of this money that Severa had several private trainers to condition her for the whole hero career, so she is naturally in good shape and health for her age.

Personality: Ryoma is the quiet type, he'd much prefer the companionship of a good book than a person. But don't be mistaken, if you talk to him first, he'll talk back. A bit awkward but well meaning. He tends to be the calm voice of reason in any group. He's a great listener and doesn't judge people for their problems, if you need someone to vent to, he's your guy. He has this quiet confidence to him that lets people know he has confidence in his skills, but without shoving it in their faces.He's a calm, level headed person who can stay that way in most situations, prefering to analyze things rather than rush headlong into them. Though he comes off as the overly serious type, he doesn't stop others from having fun, he'll remove himself from a conversation if he feels like he's bringing down the mood of it.

Background: Ryoma grew up in the shadows of an older sister who's a famous hero. All eyes were on her, so nobody really expected much from him, which was how he liked it. He could go through life without his parents shoving expectations and pressure onto him. It was good thing too, because nobody was really disappointed when he discovered his Quirk, and everybody realize that it was pretty much useless for everything but a party trick. Despite his family's wealth, and his sister's influence, his parents could get him into a single academy. When they found out what his Quirk was, they laughed at his face and turned him away. They were relieved to find Kosei Academy, and the influence it had on Ryoma. When he wasn't turned away immediately, and even told that his Quirk could be very useful, and that they had classes for supportive type Quirks like his, he suddenly found himself a bit more excited about the prospect of a hero academy. His parents wasted no time in getting him signed up after that.

Quirk: Outline
You know that thing in stealth video games where you can see a glowing outline of the enemy through walls? That's basically what Ryoma can do. It doesn't matter if somebody is in his line of sight or not, near or further away, he can see that glowing outline. Even through most walls, with the exception of extra thick walls and certain types of metal. At the moment, the glowing outline is white, but as his Quirk develops and gets stronger he'll be able to see different colors around people, which can tell him whether the person is an ally or not, and various other things.

This Quirk isn't something that he can just turn on and off, it is always activated. Unfortunately, if he uses it too much, it blurs his vision and gives him headaches. The solution is a simple one, his glasses. The lens are made from a special material that basically nullifies his Quirk and allows him to chose when he uses it. The lens are none perscription, he has perfect vision, but they still aid his sight.

Talents and Skills:Due to a surprising amount of lean muscle, and a lot of training, Ryoma is very good at parkour and free running. He's able to run, jump, and climb his way into, out of, and on to just about anything. Because of his Quirk he's also pretty darn good at not being seen when he doesn't want to be. Great at analyzing situations, picking out weaknesses, and keeping his cool. He could be a great hero if only he could fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

Outside of the hero stuff, Ryoma loves to cook. Any friends he picks up during his stay at Kosei will certainly be well fed.

I'm going to try and avoid it but should my quirk somewhat overlap another, do I have to come up with a new one? I don't think ill have that problem but you never know whose reading your mind

@FallenTrinity Preferably, overlaps would be avoided. I mean, people want to be unique and stand out. Having someone have a similar quirk to your own is kind of a downer. However, it really depends on the degree of the overlap.
