Julia

"Now you know who the chosen nine are who I decided to summon, who I chose to hopefully save the world. Normally it is forbidden for any outsider to enter this world. For this world is connected to each and every world's future. If this world, this universe even dies, then they all die but they will all learn that in time. First, I must tell you how I became to know of these seven soon to be heroes, or perhaps, villains even. Time has yet to show what the fate has in store for them all.

Julia was in the liberary with Red. She needed to find a way to stop these cracks. Luckily none had appeared in this world yet but if left for too long they could easily start to. As she looked through one of the books she sighed and put it down slowly. There was no information anywhere. She had no other choice. Slowly she stood up and went to the Universal Data part of the liberary. She had only one option left. Once there she sat herself down. The cracks could be being made by anything and this world was dangerous as it was. Whatever was making these cracks were extremely dangerous. She needed people who were willing to fight to survive.

"Bring me a list of everyone willing to fight for their or someone elses life."

Suddenly a list appeared in front of her, but the list was way too long. She sighed and thought for a moment then spoke again.

"Cut out anyone who does not have the power to do so in this world."

The list was suddenly shortened massively. Now it only showed a few hundred. She gave a sigh and nodded.

"Bring me each and every fire according to the names listed."

Suddenly hundreds of files appeared in front of her. She would read each one until she found the perfect team who could survive in this world and were willing to do whatever it took. Hours went by, the clock ticked away and one by one Julia got through the files. After an entire day had gone by, she had done it. She had her team, nine people each from a different universes. Each one experienced in combat of some kind, each one having the power to survive in this world. They were her best shot.

"Come on Red, we have visitors to meet."

Red jumped on her head and slowly Julia walked out of the liberary. She walked to a large yard outside of the Liberary of Knowledge. Then she placed her hand on the grass and a huge summoning circle appeared. By name she called them out.

"Ryteb Pyarros, D'ren, Aeris Merth, Ming, Gunter Speidel, Dante, Zara Jade, Angela and Patricia Bateman I summon you all to the world of Azroh!"

With that, the summoning circle glowed brightly, and soon enough a huge flash of light appeared, so bright that Julia and even Red had to close and cover their eyes.

Ming

Ming was currently in the heat of the battle. She was on the front lines fighting off the Neko Warriors and trying to cut her way through to the Prince. There was a Solar Eclipse high in the sky created by one of the other samurai fighting. Ming was trained in the way of the samurai and the sword. She knew every Samurai Art, she had mastered them all, most of them involved wielding a sword while others could say the Samurai Arts were simular to battle magic. Ming had just got to Prince Kuro and was about to kill him.

"Die!"

She swung her sword at him, for the first time in a long time, he was defenceless and the war was about to end! When suddenly, she disappeared. Gone. Vanished into thin air. In an instant Ming reappered in the courtyard and she continued to strike down. Her brain hadn't quite processed what had happened. She was still in the heat of the battle, just about to kill the prince, when suddenly, she was elsewhere, and her sword hit nothing but ground. She looked around, all the Inumi, all the Nekos, they were gone. The war around her had vanished and she was confused. Instead with her were seven other strangers. How did she get here and what was happening. She looked in front of her to see a very small lady standing in front of everyone.

(For your first post, make sure you post what happened before you were summoned.)

The courtyard where they were all summoned. If any new players join soon I can edit the names mentioned.

"Home is Where the Liver Is"

3020 AD
The Underworld of Malevora

D'ren heard a vulture's screech and glared up at the black sky. No stars. No sun. No clouds. Nothing. Except death. The Abyss. He smirked.

He turned to Kat, a human teenager who loved her daggers, and said in his embellished Irish accent, "I got yer back, babe!"

Kat shoved a snarling cannibal away from her and turned to plunge one of her blades into the chest of a reptilian demon. "This is not the time for jokes, D'ren!"

When she didn't hear a snarky retort, she looked over her shoulder with concern. D'ren was gone.

Present...

D'ren appeared in all his glory in the courtyard, grinning mischievously and throwing a right hook at nothing while gripping his legendary dagger in his left hand. The mortal stumbled and nearly hit the ground, but deftly recovered. He glanced around frantically until his piercing, cold green eyes fell upon...a little girl? With something on her head?

The Irishman was donned in a black leather trench coat, black leather trousers, black leather knuckle-gloves, a black leather vest, and black combat boots. He took "black leather" to a whole new level, namely a level called "Stereotypical Badboy." His gelled black hair was slicked back over his scalp in most places, though there were parts that were tousled due to physical exertion. He had a long facial scar across his face, the lower half of which was covered in stubble and a menacing scowl. He stood at almost 6 feet tall and wore a curved sword called a scimitar in a scabbard at the waist.

In his defensive stance, D'ren glowered and even growled a little bit at the girl. "What...the feck...is goin' on?"

God heard the summon from the sea of prayer coming from the near future getting louder, he could easily stop it from happening, but his divine sight had beheld this premonition, a mortal realm was in danger, a need for an Arch Angel has arisen. He knew of many to take up this holy charge, but only one with the need of repentance.

"Aeris, the time for repentance has come, wash away your sins through combat."

Aeris Merth, the fallen knight ascended to Arch Angel after his pleas were heard by God. His burden to protect the Mortal Realms has come.

"Lord God, what is my charge?" He said, his voice rough and deep as he bowed a knee, both hands on his sword whose blade glistened in the holy light.

"A Mortal Realm is in Peril, I've seen it I've heard it, the danger comes soon, steel yourself for there is much ahead you will encounter. Fight, Strive, Survive, Save them all."

"Yes my lord, I shall do as you will, Deus Vult!"

A bright light emerged engulfing Aeris completely, he could still hear God's clairvoyant voice saying "The time has come." afterwards it fell silent.

When the light had disappeared he saw he was knelt in a circle of eight other people, in the middle of them all was a small child like girl in the middle.

He stood as his wings wrapped around him drooping down towards the tip of the sword as he held it from the cross guard and hilt. He looked around and stared at the small girl as he stood in stoic silence. He didn't ask 'Why' or 'How' he already knew why and how he got there, all he needed to know was 'Who' like 'who are these people?' or 'who is this little girl?', nevertheless he patiently waited for someone else to ask, if none would then he would.

Soft lipstick decorated full lips. On her lap was the Remmington shotgun she had been cleaning and loading, there were compartments, straps, and containers for all of her weapons that were currently lying on the table in front of her. A conglomerate of candles made up all the light in the room and painted her small studio apartment's living room a lush, dim, and deep red. She slid both of her primary handguns into their respective holsters beneath her brown cashmere coat. Her two secondary handguns, the C275 automatics, found their home in a second set of crossed holsters angled on her back. She finished cleaning the shotgun and slung it into the strap on her back. She took four clips, two each for all of her guns--including a hefty amount of shot for the shotgun--and stowed it in the slit seam of her coat. She wouldn't need more than this. Her katana was fit into its sheathe. She was prepared to head out of the door to fulfill the contract she had undertaken.

Then she vanished!

A courtyard? Did Zara's eyes deceive her? How did she get here? A quick surveillance of her surroundings told her nothing other than she really hoped someone was going to compensate her for the work she was about to miss. There were eight others already present, but only three she could give proper distinction--a small child, someone resembling an angel (or perhaps an actual Angel, interesting) and one donned in all black. Somebody better have an explanation or some money, otherwise some heads were getting blown off.

War. War never changes, even in another universe. Even more so, there was one universe plagued by warfare since it's founding and was besieged by the forces of darkness. Nevertheless, this was the world that Gunter Speidel called home. In the heart of combat, what was once Gunter's command post for his platoon was now part of the fire, the smell of war and gunpowder filling the air. The fanatical foreigners, as ever, decided to press their numbers advantage on the entrenched Cenithian forces. Never works, but damn those fanatics never give up. thought Gunter as he moved through the trenches checking on his platoon. Artillery boomed with stray shells hitting the enemy encampments and their own. Thought we were past trench warfare. Guess I was wrong. Those boys in the 1st Armor better get here!

Once more, the ground shook as an artillery shell landed too close. No, that was too close for indirect fire. Looking through a hole in the trench, Gunter saw the problem: a siege troll bearing down on their ranks. The beast lumbered onwards and took careful aim at the trench. "Grenades!" Gunter commanded, readying his own grenade launcher as his platoon readying their grenade launchers quickly on command. "Target the troll! Fire at will!" A volley of grenades impacted the troll and those around it, forcing its gun to point down on the ground as the troll pulled the trigger, sending it to oblivion as the artillery shell that served as its ammunition did its bloody work. Regardless of the sight, Gunter heard another sound and soon his face filled with dread as he realized that was the sound of an artillery shell about to land close to his position. "Take cover!" He ordered his men as he began to run for cover. However, he knew it would be too late as the artillery shell landed 1 meter from his exact location within the trench, sending him down to the ground at least a few meters. It was at that moment that he was sent to another world, saved from what would have been certain death.

It was only a miracle that Gunter survived, or so he thought. His ears were ringing rendering him deaf as he looked at the strange blue sky on his back. Funny, I thought the sky was grey from where I am. Am I with the Gods? The ringing was not subsiding, so Gunter looked with his eyes. There, he saw nine other figures, all of them strange and foreign to him. It was only a matter of time before Gunter realized where he was, regaining his hearing and slowly rising. His grenade launcher was still in his hands, though there were marks of battle on it. The adrenaline was subsiding and Gunter can feel the pain of his old war wounds on his body. That meant he was alive. There was only one question remaining now.

"Where in the gods am I?"

Patricia had just freed the last of the slaves out of the hot, locked rooms of the seldom used factory where a sex trafficking ring had decided to set up a base.
I need to get out of these disgusting clothes. And so do they.
She looked at the past prisoners with pity but as soon as she started she stoped. They don't want pity, they want out.

She could hear the screams of men in the other room where her father was.
Then after a few minutes, the screaming stopped and she heard the screech of a rusty door and footsteps. then a moment later she saw her dad covered in blood with a knife in each hand.
"You know that it's not efficient to have one in each hand."
"Oh hush," her dad said throwing her the bag she brings extra clothes in as well as an iPod, set of knives, and a gun, you know, just in case.
Just as she caught the bag there was a bright flash of light and a ringing in Patricia's ears.
When her vision cleared she looked around and noticed where she was, blue sky, not an old factory.
Patricia suddenly became very aware that she was covered in sex trafficker blood, and there was a child and seven others in the room.Oh just bloody lovely, this is embarassing.

It was a lovely summer's day. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and Ryteb was being chased by Aveonn, the God of Warfare, on his Dragon Chariot.
"Look, can't we talk about this?" Ryteb yelled, as the dragons nipped at his heels, "I mean, it wasn't like the wine was particularly good. If anything you should be punishing those pri- AAAOOOWWW!" His witty remarks were interrupted by a lightning bolt to the behind.
"FOR TOO LONG YOU HAVE DEFIED THE WILL OF THE GODS." The war god boomed, "NOW YOU SHALL RECIEVE OUR DIVINE PUNISHMENT!"
Ryteb smirked at this. "I have the lunch of the devil. You really think you'll be able to-"
With a pop, he vanished. Aveonn roared and turned to the skies.

"-kill me?" Ryteb finished, confused as to what just happened. Turning around to see that Aveonn was no longer chasing him, he gave a whoop of joy.
"Ha, and they said no one could drink the Sacred Wine of Aveonn and live. Raphael owes me a tenner... wait, where in the world am I?"
As his excitement at surviving waned, he realised that he was standing in a strange location with a bunch of people in weird outfits. "So... is this a festival or something? Or is this another joke of the gods?"

Dante

Dante was walking with his hands in his pockets, his dull eyes looked around slowly. His father's watch was on his right wrist. He stopped in front of a shop and stared at some of the wares. Slowly he continued to walk once more before he slipped into the alleyway. Then he held out his hand and activated the watch and within that second he transformed. Now in his battle suit Dante returned to the shop and held out his hand. He was about to break in when all of a sudden he disappeared. When he reappears elsewhere he lowered his hand slowly and began to look around. In front of him was a little child. "What's going on? Where am I?" For now he was still in his armour.

Julia

Julia looked around at all the questioning faces. She counted them all, nine. The summoning had worked perfectly, everyone was here. She gave a bright smile and Red came out to peak at the visitors. As he did Julia stood forward and spoke to everyone.

"Welcome all to Azroh. My name is Julia and this is Red. You have all been chosen and summoned here because we need your help. I am sure you have noticed by now cracks have been appearing everywhere. Not just in your world, but in all dimensions, all through space and time. That is why I called you because we believe you can do it, we believe you can save the world before all of time and space is ripped apart. There is some bad news though, I'm afriad you will be unable to leave until you complete your mission. Let me introduce everyone. Ryteb Pyarros, D'ren, Aeris Merth, Ming, Gunter Speidel, Dante, Zara Jade, Angela and Patricia Bateman. I am sorry for pulling you out of your worlds, but I had no choice."

As she called out the names she pointed to the person it belonged to. With that she gave a small smile, she knew there were going to be some disagreements but she had no choice.

Ming

Ming listened to the child in front of her, apparently called Julia. The more she spoke and explained the situation the angrier she got. She clenched her fist tightly around her bladde and when she had finally finished, she shouted out at the girl.

"I don't care who you are, but why the hell should we little to a little child? I want to see an authority figure, and I will not help you. I am returning to my world. I am in the middle of a bloody war and I was about to end it as well before I was summoned!"

She swung her sword in anger but the moment Ming had finished talking Julia's face became one of anger and her fists were clenched up tightly. Red was hiding behind her head while her hands were glowing with red magic. It was obvious that something she had said had really pissed her off.

After hearing what Julia said, D'ren made a decision: he didn't give a shit. He sheathed his dagger and sat down in the beautiful lush green grass. With a content smirk on his face, he stared up at the sky above. Sure, there had been a couple space-time tears in a couple of realms he'd visited before, but the people he worked for - The Powers That Be, and the Council of Defense - had not allowed these quantum rips to affect their mission, or the "essential universes," such as the ones from which D'ren and his colleagues were born.

So he just sat there, leaning back on his hands, enjoying the fact that he didn't have to fight or die for the moment. And he knew that Eli and the others wouldn't miss him; they'd only asked him along to Malevora as a guide because it was his previous home-world anyway. They would rescue his wife and wait for him back in the paradise realm of X-000.

However, there were a few individuals who piqued his interest, both in a good way, and in a bad way. The bad, Aeris. An angel. To hell with that dude and all his kind. But D'ren cleverly concealed his contempt. His eyes fell upon the more comely women of the party, namely Patricia - a redhead. His eyes half-drooped closed as he admired her physique, especially her hair.

Sometimes, he really missed being the most evil mortal in the multiverse...

It was clear that one of them had angered the little girl in the middle, he glanced at Ming who arrogantly stated that she wanted to see an authority figure, yet she failed to see that "Child" had the power to summon nine people at once, without fatigue a feat nonetheless and only one achieved not of skill but practice; furthermore she wanted to stomp off back into her world shouting in rage that she was about to end a war as if that war held any significance, any weight compared to the threat at hand, a threat that puts every single mortal realm in danger, the sin of pride is rooted deeply into her soul.

Her world, their world, heaven itself, all realms will succumb to this threat and yet she could not be bothered to listen. In the middle the girl glowed a hot fiery red, this girl was more than she seemed. Aeris acted quickly but quietly and cast divine protection upon himself and everyone else in the room, this way if ever conflict arises and turns violent, no one would be severely injured.

He then spoke, breaking the monotony of his silence, the tone of his voice sullen.

"Your pride is blinding." As he turned his head to look at her, he continued.

"Every known realm... Or as mortals call them universes and dimensions are in danger, everything you've fought for will be wrought meaningless and yet you don't want to listen?" he glanced back at the girl in the middle and proceeded to ask her.

"What is the task at hand, and could you explain our situation further, such as what these 'cracks' are?" his tone shifted into one of inquisitive urgency as he carried on.

"Time is of the essence is it not?"

"Everybody needs to chill out!" Ryteb said, combining cold, water, and air in hid head, "And that's snow joke!"
As he said that, the spell went off, and a gentle snowfall began to fall. Honestly, he was still riding high on the adrenaline of a near death experience, and the whole fate of the multiverse thing hadn't really sunk in yet.
"Look, time is just a concept made up by mortals. I'm sure if we do a bit of jigging around we can send you back when you left. Can't be any harder than interdimensional summoning of nine completely different people including a bastard angel."

Lt. Gunter Speidel fully recovered his hearing and was standing up by the time , but in reaction to the events that were unfolding before him a part of him wished he hadn't. The explanation was too vague for Gunter, almost as if this was a fairy tale. Still, he owed the life of himself to this pipsqueak and decided therefore to give her a chance to explain herself. Gunter was a war veteran, but he was also an officer. Gotta control the situation or my life will be no more.

Analyzing the reactions of those around him as well as their looks, Gunter immediately knew this was going to be a trip. So many undisciplined cowboys, at least by first impression. He hated those types. Always unpredictable and a danger to themselves and others. First, however, he already saw his assumptions of this lot being undisciplined cowboys prove true. That one, Ming, she looked awfully like the Felinus in Cenith, and so his observation was biased toward his culture. Disappointment. He thought as he sternly commanded and prayed to the Gods that they understood Cenithian "Stand down!" What Ming did, however, was give him a valuable piece of information regarding this Julia: do not make fun of her size. Not like Gunter wanted to, for he has seen dwarves in action before. They were not to be trifled with, ever.

The knight, Aeris, was the first that broke his initial impression however. Gunter, as an officer, immediately noticed the logic behind his words and the discipline behind him. No matter, he could not have gone through the hell that a Blasting Betty could! One of them, Patricia was what she was called, looked like a fracking murderer. He was going to have to be careful about them. Angela, D'ren and Dante were not easy to get a read on, and so Gunter reserved his opinions for later. Zara seemed to have gone through some kind of military training judging by her stance. Either that, or a highly skilled combatant. At least this was something he could work with. That Kitsune, Ryteb, seemed to be some sort of spell caster if the Kitsunes on his world and the lack of a bracelet were any indicator. Very arrogant, not to say I am not myself. However, there was not much more could Gunter get out of his first impression.

Gunter betrayed no reactions as he stayed helmeted and finally spoke. "Alright, I'll hear you out but I need details! Let us start simple. First of all, why us? Second, what in the Empress's name are these cracks?"

@Infamous Empath@Ryteb PymerocePatricia stood there silently crossing her arms while she watched the others do their tomfoolery, one setting off snow, while another strong looking man sat in the grass. Obviously looking her up and down, namely her head.
This blood is never gonna come off of this shirt, I hope I can change soon.
One tall man, who Patricia had taken note that the child named him as Aeris was going off (calmly but he was still going off in Patricia's book.) on a woman named ming? For what she didn't know. Nor did she care. She just wanted to find out what exactly the child wanted them all to do. And she also wanted to ask the man whose name she heard was D'ren why exactly he was staring at her with his eyes like that.
"So what exactly do you want us here for?" Patricia said at the same time as Gunter who she looked at in slight surprise.

Angela looked around at everyone who was summoned here taking note of the kitsune and Angel while ignoring the child throwing a temper tantrum (refering to Ming) as she listened to Julia and the others.

"please correct me if i am wrong but if my assessment of the situation is correct. The cracks you speak of are cracks in reality that are spreading though the different dimensions threatening all life in existence and you would like are help in fixing the cracks before all dimensions, worlds and plains of existence are destroyed, So i take it you choose us because we are the most suited to help you complete this task, Does that about sum up the situation.? If so then that explains the why you summoned us and you've already told who you are as well as the name of this world although i have never heared of a world by the name Azroh but you never mentioned where exactly we are?"

Dante listened to the girl and then looked to Ming as she spoke. Just as she finished speaking someone else spoke and another although the only one who got his attention was this Angela who made this entire situation make sense, she and Julia were the only ones who were providing answers. "So Essentially, it's help you or have our world be destroyed and be trapped here for all of eternity?" That wasn't a bad idea honestly. This place looked nice enough. He was pretty sure he could cope living here for the rest of his life. It was far more interesting than the dull world that was Earth.

Zara huffed perturbed from her diaphragm. It didn't seem like she was going to get paid for any of this given no suitable answers were made for all the questions posed. If she wasn't going to get paid for a missed contract, she hoped for some invigorating action elsewhere; this was a task of mythic proportions, so the thought of shooting a few demons made up for the poverty of her pockets. Her green eyes shifted around to all eight of her new co-stars, and after a moment's pause, she spoke up:

"Well, whose head I gotta shoot first to get some clean answers 'round here?"

Julia

Julia calmed herself down and her hands stopped glowing red then she looked around at everyone seeing that they were still confused however hearing Angelina speak made her smile. She seemed to be the only one who understood the situation at hand.

"Firstly I am NOT a child. I'll have you know I am twenty years of age! Lalafell are naturally small. I will not send anyone home until you have done what I have summoned you here to do. So go ahead, cry like a child, scream and shout! Let your pitty little world as well as all other worlds and universes die and when they do and trust me, they will. You will be to blame. So tell me again that you won't help because I know for a fact you will! Angelina, yes that pretty much sums it up. I knew I was going to like you when I read your files. Now, let me add to that. As Angelina said, these are cracks in reality. By going through them you could end up in a whole new world, dimension, universe, literally anywhere. That is if you survived. by going through the crack, before you reach the other side, you enter a place of nothingness. In between realities and by going there it rips you apart and instantly kills you. By dying like that everyone who once knew you will forget about you like you never existed. Now, why you? I chose you because each and every one of you have some sort of combat experience. You are all willing to work in a team if you have no other choice, and you are willing to do whatever it takes to survive. You also have the means to do so in this specific world. You were all perfect choices. Before you ask, I read all your files, from birth to your current selves in the Liberary of Knowledge. Now as Aeris said, time is of the essence. Right now no cracks has appeared here but one could very easily do so. For now we must venture further into the world and we need to find the source of the cracks, follow me please."

She waved her hand for everyone to follow and walked towards the forest. After taking a few steps she stopped and turned around to see if everyone was following her not.

Ming

Ming listened to Aeris and clenched her fist then she looked and listened to Angelina. She at least seemed to understand the situation. Finally the little girl spoke again, well at first, shouted. For a little one she had a loud voice which shocked her a bit and the way she spoke to her shocked her more. She had to admit she had a point. She looked to the building they were all in front of, her guess was the Liberary of Knowledge but she could be wrong finally she looked to the girl again.

"Fine, I'll help but who put you in charge and if no cracks have appeared in this world then how do you know so much about them?"

She looked around before stepping forward to Julia. She wondered if anyone else agreed with her.

Aeris listened to what the others had to say, patiently waiting for his answers, he looked at the man that spoke right after him, making it snow, excited, arrogant, his comment on what time is as a construct of mortal perception is both true and false, a topic for another time and useless in the current situation.

The next who spoke up, a soldier, Gunter, his armor and his helmet it was clear even by the way he spoke, he could even determine whether or not he was an officer of some sort and it seems he shared the same questions Aeris had, he carried himself professionally and kept his calm even in the midst of a colorful range of characters.

And after Gunter the blood covered woman known as Patricia, he wasn't exactly elated at the sight of blood, it reminded him of how he died, alone, fending for himself, abandoned during the crusades.

Then his eyes fell upon the human named D'ren, it was clear in eyes that he was guilty of lust, the way he looked at Patricia was enough to give him the impression, not to mention the way he was dressed.

But it is when Angela spoke, he found some sense, someone who reclarified the situation everyone was in, quite attentive, thoughtful, and focused, her questions only added on to Aeris's.

When Dante spoke his voice had a sarcastic tone as he asked about their options which was in a nutshell, help or everything and everyone dies horrid deaths, unnecessary but humor is needed in times of gloom and doom.

And lastly Zara, who wanted answers, and she wanted them at that moment, it seemed reasonable, all these questions in the past few minutes of talking and still no answer.
