Lt. Gunter never saw such a display in his life. Then again, how could he have predicted that he will be whisked away and summoned in some unknown world? Either way, Gunter made the prideful assumption that a Cenithian grenadier, namely a Blasting Betty, was summoned to save what was called a universe and connecting universes. The rough summary that Angela provided made sense to Gunter as he toiled the information through his mind. If that was correct, the Empire would be in worse danger than the Mire kicking down their doorstep. Hell, the Mire could be what was causing this. If that was the case, that would mean the Mire was a graver threat than any of them thought.

However, Gunter did not jump to conclusions. This was unmarked territory to him, filled with the unknown, and they may even lack a home base to rest up and plan a course of action. Once more, Gunter knew that whatever supply lines he had before he was teleported were gone. That was a grave concern to him, even more than the strangers before him.

After hearing them speak, Gunter came to a few more conclusions. First of all, Dante seemed to be some sort of mercenary. Second, the way Patricia acted betrayed that she was a civilian. Unpredictable and worse of all, having to be babysitted. Perhaps Gunter could change that but in the meantime he will simply take note that she spoke when he did and do no more. Zara? Mercenary written all over from how she spoke but Gunter stuck with his previous assessment of her being disciplined. Ming was a hot-head despite her obvious combat experience, but she did raise specific questions that would be nice to know. Chain of command would be necessary knowledge, but the intel of how she knows of this would prove Julia's legitimacy. The kitsune, Ryteb, just made unnecessary use of magic. However, for now Gunter will reserve his conclusion of him for when battle is upon him, mages being what they were.

None of the others changed his first impression as quickly, but now was not the time to think of opinions. This was the time for action, and Gunter had plenty of energy for it and soldiers followed orders. He took a step forward to follow Julia but made sure to take out a empty shell casing and toss it into the forest. The Mire took too much from him already, and so he did this so that it would not take anything else from him. It was then when Gunter spoke.

"Aside from what the Felinus just asked I need to know a few important details. First: we need a home base. You have that set up for us? Second, I am concerned as an officer about the restock of supplies. If we don't have a good supply line or at least an area to get resupplied that should be our number one priority, not the cracks, until those are established. After all, some of us need bullets, munitions, food and water to maintain optimal capability. Third, we need to know the lay of the local area at least and where you are taking us. Or are you expecting us to do the job of the those boys in the Rangers?" Gunter realized he said 'Felinus' and mentally cursed, noting that this may be taken the wrong way and bracing himself for that. I'm not paid enough for this shyte! Then again, when am I ever paid enough?

[Infamous Empath]

As he put on some headphones connected to an mp3 player, D'ren chuckled lightly at each of the others' reactions and words directed at the small creature and the unexpected event that had unfolded before them. However, his mind was stuck on one thing that the girl named Julia had said: "...by going there it rips you apart and instantly kills you. By dying like that everyone who once knew you will forget about you like you never existed."

A surefire way to an easy redemption, he thought. The pain of life gone, and all his past deeds, or at least the memory of those deeds, erased. But his mind flitted over this notion for but a brief moment, as he then began to consider how to manipulate the situation to his advantage, should he not wish to commit quantum suicide. By remaining mostly silent, he could observe and gain loyalty from a few, and then use that loyalty against the others, ultimately taking over everything, getting his wife back from Anubis, and then... and then what?

Anger began to bubble up inside him. Sure, he was no longer in danger, thanks to this bitch, but he really did not like being controlled in this way. Sociopaths worship power, namely their own. And if he was going to be a follower, a helpless one at that, he was going to make sure those who manufactured this teleportation were issued an appropriate retribution.

But D'ren knew he had to keep his thoughts and emotions under control. It had been awhile since he had acted the psychopath to hide his true intellect. Nobody expected the psycho to outsmart them. He wondered how far he would go for that control.

As Julia moved toward the forest, D'ren made sure he stood up slowly enough to remain in the back of the pack, inconspicuous and out of sight. He assumed, though, that some of the others would easily discern this ruse, namely the angel. So he gazed at the marvelous architecture and environment, as if lost in thought and quiet appreciation. Of course, it was at this point, his unseen fallen friend mentally prodded him...

"You should kill the gnome."

D'ren eyed Julia with a smirk...

Seven Weeks Ago...

Charleston, South Carolina, USA, Earth Y-942

D'ren drove the dagger deep into the damsel's diaphragm, twisting and then thrusting again. Her eyes watered and she choked as she dropped her own weapon, a small pocket knife.

The moon shined down brightly that night, as the woman collapsed in the shadowy alley. D'ren stared down at her for a moment, watching her rasp for her last breath. When she finally died, D'ren heard clapping behind him. Without thinking, as per custom, he spun around and flung the dagger end over end at the new target, who caught it in his hand as it flew passed.

Tritus held the blade in his black-gloved hand, his black goatee curled around his amused smile. "Wow, that was..."

D'ren didn't let the cloaked, traitorous fallen angel finish his sentence, much less turn to face the mortal; D'ren charged him, aiming a powerful fist toward Tritus' skull.

After taking his dagger back, D'ren shoved Tritus up against a brick wall. "What the bloody hell do ya want, ya welching nancyboy?"

"Just to congratulate you for passing our test..." Tritus leaned closer, defiantly. "Boss."

D'ren kneed him in the gut. "'Our'?"

A 9-foot-tall man with long dark hair, large muscles, and ancient Greek armor appeared in lightning behind D'ren. The former warlord turned to face Cronus, dropping the weak-willed angel.

D'ren grinned. "You can't use your powers on me."

Samy'azaii stood by D'ren, invisible to all, as she hissed contemptuously at the Greek titan.

Cronus smirked and then laughed. "I can still beat your ass." He then slammed a massive fist into D'ren's face.

Blood spurted from D'ren's lip as it busted open and he stumbled back into the wall, which had previously had Tritus as company. He giggled maniacally and then D'ren ducked the next punch and Cronus' fist smashed through the wall as if it were made of foam. D'ren rolled down the alley toward Tritus. As the angel reached for the sword on his belt, D'ren leaped up and mercilessly stuck him in the throat with the Osiris dagger.

Tritus' flesh began to disintegrate into ash. By the time D'ren had turned to face Cronus again, Tritus had crumbled into nothing. However, as Cronus and D'ren exchanged blows, another god appeared behind the mortal. This one also had Greek armor, but more of it. He also had a red Spartan cape and carried a Spartan Xiphos short sword.

As Ares approached D'ren, Cronus had knocked the Irishman down. D'ren turned and tried to crawl over to his knife, which had been knocked from his grasp. Ares stepped on the blade and plunged his own down into D'ren's shoulder.

D'ren let out an agonized scream.

Ares boomed, "You will submit to your betters, human!"

Through the pain, D'ren forced out a mocking laugh. "Like hell."

At this response, both Greek immortals raised their weapons. D'ren reached over and grabbed the pocket knife that Cronus' late assassin had dropped. When he stabbed Ares through the strap on his sandal, the god of war laughed at him.

"Did you really think a little thing like that could penetrate my flesh?" Ares asked, having to restrain himself from executing the killing blow.

D'ren lowered his face into the pavement and shook his head. "Nah, mate, I just needed to distract ya for a second."

Samy'azaii full-on possessed D'ren, giving him superhuman strength, and yellow-green eyes. He raised his hand from under the god's foot, holding the Osiris dagger, and plunged it deep into the tendon on the back of his heel.

D'ren and Samy said, "Achilles sends his regards!"

Cronus broke his spear over D'ren's head as he tried to knock him down again. Samy left D'ren's body now, and D'ren caught the part of the broken spear that had fallen toward the ground and plunged it into Cronus' heart. D'ren then turned and punched Ares in the jaw, knocking his Spartan helmet off his head.

"How dare you?!" cried Ares in pain and disbelief.

"Like this?" answered the mortal as he lowered his dagger and thrust it at Ares' genitals.

Ares tried to block with his sword, but D'ren caught his arm and the blade went to the target. In even greater pain now, Ares' much stronger arm knocked D'ren back. However, the death blow had been dealt.

D'ren wiped his bleeding nose and mouth as he watched, with a sadistic pleasure, both Cronus and Ares die.

Dante

Dante listened to Julia and from what she said he gave a small nod. No cracks had appeared yet, which meant that they soon would. So even if he did stay if he did nothing to help this world would be destroyed just like the rest. He sighed and deactivated his watch. If he was going to be here with these people for a while then there was no point in hiding his real self. He looked to the building next to where they were standing and he assumed that was the liberary. Once Julia had finished talking he began to follow her until Ming spoke again in which he turned around and replied.

"So far, Julia knows where we're going. She's the one who brought us to this world and knows more about the situation more than anyone else. For now she is the best leader among us."

He looked back to Julia and walked to her side and waited for her to lead again. He of course picked up on her mistake. Before she said she couldn't send them back then it changed to she 'won't' send them back. He didn't care either way, it was either help or die so it benefitted him in staying and helping anyway. What interested him though was the Liberary of Knowledge. It seemed such a shame in leaving it but he supposed there was no other choice really.

While everyone was following the twenty-year-old child (who's name finally clicked as Julia in Patricia's brain)Patricia decided to pull out her hoodie out of her bag and put it on over her blood stained shirt.
Why did I wear a white shirt to a killing spree anyway?
As she ran to catch up with the group she heard some speaking but didn't listen because it wasn't loud enough to seem important.

[Ryteb Pymeroce]

Ryteb walked along with his hands behind his head. Honestly he didn't care about the how's and the why's, he was going on an epic adventure to save all of existance. Lil Yuki would be amazed when he told her how he singlehandedly saved reality... though there was still the problem of Aveonn... meh, that's something for future Ryteb to deal with. I'm sure he can handle it.
Suddenly, a time portal opened in front of him and spewed out a pneumatic tube right into his face. Inside was a letter saying simply (You F***ing B*****d!). Yeah... future me will definitely be fine.

Zara followed along with the group, her gripe about the money was settled. There was nothing much she could do about it anyway--besides, if they didn't stop whatever this threat was she wasn't going to get paid ever again; nor would she be alive. Last she heard, money didn't have much use to dead people--the Egyptians tried. She moved somewhere in the middle of the pack, and her chosen position amongst the group sort of represented her own feelings about it all--not too excited, but not too sad about anything either. She was just waiting for some action to happen.

Angela listened to Julia and began following Julia and began to speak out load talking to herself while she thought on the new information she had just been given.

"Won't send us home? Not Can't so she could if she wanted to not that it matters the only option was to find and fix the problem that was coursing the cracks. So Julia read files on us all in the library of knowledge? We are 9 strangers from different relms, For that to be possible the library Would have to contain information on all 9 relms as well as all of the inhabitants, For that to be possible it Would need be connected to all 9 relms, but that's to much information to write down no matter how meny people are doing the writing so it Would have to be some kind of magic perhaps a machine that records and stores the information."

As Angela was rambling to herself she heard mings question which set her off on her next point of analysis.

"if this machine can store all that information it Would stand to reson that it also contains information on the cracks, but if anything that gose though the cracks is erased and forgotten then Woul that include all records of that person?, If so then the library Would have to get information on the portals another way possibly from the gods?, However if this relm is connected to 9 others how have the cracks not made it here yet?, Wait what if its connected to more then just our 9 relms if it connected to all relms then that Would mean the reson haven't made it here is because they are still ripping though the other relms almost eating an apple no matter how big your bites or how fast you eat it will still take time to reach the core if that's the case then that would mean all reality is imploding and this relm is at the center of it, so how much time do we have before this relm is affected and is it being caused though natural reaction or is someone to blame?"

It was then Angela heard Gunter.

"a home base Would be useful maybe set up in the library it Would have any information we may need, however we may need to keep moving if that's the case we Would have to make do with roaming camps umm shouldn't be a problem, neither should supply routes if 9 strangers from different relms can be summoned so easily no reson why we Can't summon supplys."

As Angela talked to herself she followed behind Julia.

[The One]

Julia

Julia looked to Ming and was about to answer when Angela answered for her. She gave a small and half listened as they walked through the forest. Though something about the forest was different but she couldn't put her finger on it. Every so often she'd answer Angela with a simple 'yes' but there was something she needed to correct.

"When I said files, I meant physical copies. Like books or scrolls. Whenever a child is born a book is magically created and from there it writes itself with magic from ever on. It is my job as Liberian to check any new files that has been created, and check the list of those disappeared and forgotten every day and honestly I don't know how long we've got untiln the cracks reach us, neither do I know what's causing it. For supplies, I can summon anything that anyone needs you just need to tell me what you want. Anything I can't summon we can buy. For home base, we will be on the move constantly, so we will have to settle for roaming camps. Lastly I can send yo..."

She stopped herself and let out a sigh not saying another word. Besides something was very off here in this forest. The once so peaceful forest made her feel on edge, like something was watching her. It was then that she stopped completely and held out her hand, creating a purple forcefield to stop the nine from going on any further.

"Change of plans. We're going to visit the Guardian of the Forest, Rethynth. Stay on guard, there's something about this forest I cannot put my finger on."

Her voice spoke with concern and urgentcy and with that the purple barrier disappear. She took a sharp left turn to go deeper into the forest. After a few minutes walk she came to a large tree that shot up for miles until it reached the clouds. This was the Tree of Life! Protecting it was a large green dragon.





Julia signalled everyone to stay back, even putting up a purple barrier once more.

"He knows me, so let me go in first."

Slowly she walked to the dragon and spoke to him.

"Rethynth I need to speak to you. Are you able to talk?"

the dragon's eyes shot open and at that moment Julia fell back in fear. It was clear as day now. The eyes of the dragon were filled with hate and bloodlust. Something was affecting the guardian. Suddenly he roared out loudly and his warriors rose to the ground. Quickly Julia stood up and ran to the barrier. She turned to face the dragon before undoing it.

"Do not kill the dragon! Whatever you do! He is connected to the Tree of Life, if he dies, the entire forest dies!"

Now she shouted, this was an urgent matter that could not be dealt with a heavy hand and intent to kill. This was a very serious and delicate situation.



Ming

Ming listened to Julia carefully now. So she read all their files, physical copies, self writing books, there must be hundreds in there and with her being the liberian she must of read quite a lot. She then heard her when she heard that she could send them back and clenched her fist.

"So you CAN send us back if you wanted?"

However she completely ignored her, something was clearly on her mind. She sighed, she wouldn't go back anyway. She had no choice to help it was either that or everyone and everything dies. She couldn't allow that. It was then that she walked into a purple barrier and Julia began to speak. Her voice was filled with concern and urgentcy, it made her grab her sword. She knew there was something bothering the little girl. Cautiously she walked with her, her eyes now open and ready for danger. When they stopped again they were at a huge tree with a dragon protecting it. Before Julia said anything she spoke.

"Tree of Life I presume? If it dies, all life in the forest dies."

Again Julia said nothing at first, after a minute had passed she spoke again and created another barrier. She went to speak to the dragon alone but the moment it awoke Ming pulled her sword out completely. She knew that look in it's eye and Julia's reaction was all she needed to know that something was very wrong. She heard Julia say not to kill the dragon and nodded. Then looked to the minions it summoned.

"What's causing this? I presume the rips in reality, but how?"

There was no answer for the moment. The barrier was done and now it was a fight. It seemed it wasn't all going to be easy, of course, she knew that. With that she called out loudly.

"Samurai Art: Cutting Wind!"

Her sword glowed brightly as she slashed one of the warriors. As she did her sword created a wind slash cutting three others apart. She gave a small smile before the dragon created the four warriors that were destroyed. This battle was going to take a while!

Aeris felt what Julia felt, his connection to the entirety of all life, something was clearly off, he spoke to himself quietly, but not quiet enough, as the person behind him, Gunter, to hear, as if wanting to pass the message down the line.

"Something is amiss in this forest, I can feel it, something malevolent."

He drew his sword and summoned the spear, as the purple barrier surprised him for a moment, he heard Julia say:

"Change of plans. We're going to visit the Guardian of the Forest, Rethynth. Stay on guard, there's something about this forest I cannot put my finger on."

So he was right, something was off, the spirits of this forest, were corrupted by something, and by the time they reached the Guardian, the huge green dragon, the fire of his soul did not burn calmly as his warriors arose from the ground.

He took Julia's warning into account and said, "I shall keep him busy then" with his sword already drawn, he threw his spear at the warriors and shouted.

"DEUS VULT!" As he charged in slicing apart droves of these warriors, fighting as ferociously as a knight, shoving, head butting, chopping off limbs and heads, as he reached the middle he spread his wings and lifted off the ground as the wind generated from his lift off knocked down many of the warriors he could not deal with alone, as he rose he summoned and threw his spear narrowly missing the great dragon attempting to get his attention.

"I AM HERE! FIGHT ME IN THE NAME OF GOD!" he did this to pull the dragon's attention away from the others, as far as he knew, he was the only one who could fly and actively keep him busy in the sky on a level plane, this would buy the others time to find a way to bring him to his senses and deal with the other warriors.

Although with this plan, he could also attempt to see if God could calm him with the light of heaven, he started whispering the holy prayer as he rose to fight the giant creature, the light started to shine out from the sky, but the prayer needs to be fully incanted for the full effect, Aeris could feel the strain but it was strain he was used to. He only had a few plans up his sleeves if the light of heaven doesn't work then the people bellow should be able to find some way to calm him down and if they stay within the light they should feel it's rejuvenating properties, healing wounds and alleviating fatigue, until then he was locked in combat with Rethynth the Dragon Guardian, and the people bellow locked in combat with the Guardian's warriors, one could only hope for the best outcome.

As soon as the purple barrier went up Patricia knew to get back. as if the deadly dragon wasn't enough warning in itself. Then suddenly there was a roar, a ton of tree warriors, and a command not to kill the dragon. Patricia rolled her eyes and pulled out the electric bone saw that was usually used for cutting apart bodies for disposal, but it would work to cut the tree warriors apart too.

The answers to Gunter's question satisfied him, though these were most obviously not optimal conditions. Still, he was a grenadier of the Royal Army. He will manage.

Gunter was never a fan of beautiful places. Those places were those that killed the most often. It was the way of the Mire, to strike when one's guard was down and so when the message Aeris gave him reached his ears Gunter was not surprised. With his grenade launcher still out Gunter did not bother switching to his rifle, instead opting to empty the current grenades in the launcher and replace them with red ones. They were the Mark IV Incendiary grenades, exploding with magic and causing a fire. If there was one thing that the Mire hated, it was fire. That and boots on it's infected territory, but screw the Mire for that!

Gunter chose this moment to lay down a few clear rules of engagement, as he did not know what the heck any of them were. In a commanding tone, Gunter said his piece"Alright ladies, listen up! We're probably going to have contact here shortly with hostile forces. Now, I don't know you, you don't know me. But by the Empress if any of you shoot me with a stray shot I'm not going to be happy. Therefore, call out what you are doing to each other. Last thing we need are a bunch of us shot in the back because one diddledee was stupid. Keep it simple, nothing crazy. Watch each other's backs and we can all go home and enjoy another sunrise." Gunter did not even allow any answers as he then raised his grenade launcher. "See this?! This here is called a grenade launcher. Fires explosive ordinance. When I yell 'grenade' make sure you are out of the way. Clear?!"

Regardless of their answers, Gunter continued on under the purple barrier, not like Gunter hasn't seen something like this before, just not in this fashion. Gunter remained on alert the entire way until they reached the tree of life and the dragon that guarded it. Whoo, that's a big one. Gunter's expression changed from awe to dread as the dragon's look of malice gazed upon them and the army of woodmen came out.Ah...crap! Yeah, classic Mire there. The only problem: Julia's announcement to not kill the dragon or that tree there, the tree of life, would die out. Gunter personally did not care, but he had a vested interest in following this command, especially seeing that Aeris is dealing with the thing. It would be interesting to see how Aeris performed against the beast. Regardless, Gunter aimed his grenade launcher at a group of warriors and called "Grenade Out!" Firing his grenade launcher and hitting a group of the woodmen who erupted into flame. Gunter took cover near a tree, bracing himself for any melee by keeping his sword handy but mostly acting as artillery support for the group, calling out his shots as well as he could. It wouldn't be long before the fire spread unless it was moist, in which case may the Goddess of Battle preserve him, for there were a huge amount of hostiles!

[Ryteb Pymeroce]

With a flashy somersault, Ryteb bounced on the head of the Dragon, and used it to propel him up onto the world tree. Using his dagger, he hung from the tree and began to think. His world also had a world tree, though that one had a snake biting at its roots. This he knew because he had been down there on a bet on whether the mortal realm was flat... He never did get old Sam to pay up. Ah well, time for some magic juju.

"Binae vitae ex aqua sacri ostenderes mihi quid habet lignum." He chanted, combining water and life to create a spell of scrying. Before he could get an answer, a massive explosion nearly shook him out of the tree. Below, a fire began to spread. Some idiot thought it would be a good idea to start a fire near the freak'n world tree. He began a new chant.

"Aquae tribus spiritibus, duorum ventorum spiritus, faciunt scutum protegens arbor auidos ligula."

Around the tree, a small typhoon was created, preventing the fire from reaching the world tree. Also made it hard for Ryteb to stay on the tree.
"DON'T USE FIRE AROUND THE WORLD TREE YOU F***ING IDIOTS! DO YOU WANT TO BE KNOWN AS THE B******S RESPONSIBLE FOR TURNING THE WORLD TO S***!" He continued to swear, but in the language of demons.

Dante

Dante continued to follow Julia as he listened to her closely. He also paid close attention to Angela. He found it strange how Julia was oddly quiet. She spoke only in few words and she didn't even respond to Ming. When Gunter began talking about his Grenade Launcer he stared at him for a moment while thinking to himself. 'Is....he going to use that in the forest?' When the purple barrier appeared he stopped. Hearing her concern in her voice he activated his watch and entered his battle mode then he continued to follow. It was soon after that they arrived at a huge tree. Ming held the same thoughts as he did, the literal Tree of Life, and Julia happily comfirmed it. As the Dragon woke up and Julia was knocked back he was stood forward ready to act on a moment's notice when Julia instructed them not to kill the dragon. Simple enough. Instead he focused his attacks on the dragon's warriors. His sword glowed red and he slashed at one of the warriors before turning around and sending a huge shockwave of pyschic energy at two more which knocked them back making them fall on pyschic spears that he had created. Three dead and he hardly started, however just then three more came out of the ground.

"Ah, this isn't going to be ending soon, is it?"

The dragon was making more and more minions whenever one was killed. At this rate they would be fighting for all eternity and they would get nowhere. How were they supposed to win? Well, Gunter thought they'd win by shooting off a grenade which immediately set fire to the fucking forest! Didn't Julia say NOT to kill the Guardian of Life or the Tree of Life?

"Why are you using fire in a forest? A FUCKING FOREST! We're trying to protect the forest, not destroy it you fucking moron!"

God damn, he may not be the smartest around but at least he fucking knew that destroying the forest was not a good idea. He looked to Julia for a moment expecting to see the look of horror on her face.

Angela stopped rambling as she sensed a darkness she Couldn't explain then looked to Julia as she spoke she continued to follow her until she saw the tree of life she listened to Julias warning.

"spirits hear my plea i call upon the spirit of the earth Gaia and spirit of sound Echo"

Angela stopped what she was doing when she heard the sound of grenades going off in the background. She looked on in sheer horror as some naive fool set of incendiary explosives creating a magic fire. Angela couldn't help but facepalm. She let out a deep sigh and continued.

"ok spirit of wind Storm, Spirit of Water Aqua and Spirit of Light Celestia lend me your strength"

With that the 1080 beeds began to glow and two spirits appeared in front of her.

Celestia


She held out her left hand as the four of the five spirits became spirit balls and flew around her hand.

"Spirit Control."

With that she placed Echo into the blade of her sword, Storm into the hilt, Aqua into her right wrist band and Celestia floated into the wristband of her left hand. Then Gaia became an orb and floated into her left hand.

"Spirit Fusion"

She then placed Gaia inside her chest as the two temperaily became one. As she did she grew wings on her back. She looked to Ryteb with a soft smile as she saw him trying to protect the Tree of Life. Her wings began to flutter as she flew towards the tyfoon she swung her scabbered creating a blast of wind which forced open a hole in the tyfoon allowing her to fly into the eye of the tyfoon. Once there she held out her right hand creating a oceans worth of water that was sucked up by a tyfoon and turning it into a tsunami. She then swung her scabbered again releasing a powerful blast of wind that would fly out in all directions around her as she did the tyfoon was blown apart, sending the water all over the forest as it crashed down in waves dousing the fire. She then held out her left while still holding the scabbered hand as she did the light of heaven would expand covering the entire forest, healing the damage and restoring all the damaged trees Then she channeled the power of Gaia and brought new life back to the trees that were completely destroyed. The trees would sprout up and go to their original form.

While Angela flew above the tree of life she looked down to the others

"Lay down your weapons, this is not a fight with brute force."

Angela then glared at Gunter her usual calm and relaxed demeanor replaced with anger and disgust.

"I think I should explain what Julia meant earlier. When she said if the Guardian dies and so does the Tree and Forest, she meant if one dies so do the others. All three are connected. If you protect the tree and save the guardian by burning down the forest the other two will still die. So to reiterate, don't burn the the fucking forest!"

Angela then let out another deep sigh as she calmed herself Then the sword in her right hand began to vibrate creating a soft and soothing melody. As she did she using the power of Gaia she linked her soul to the tree of life. Her eyes turned white as the tree of life began to speak through her.

Zara rifled shots all around herself, twin Berretas in hand. This was her kind of fight--loud, boisterous. She tossed her Berettas skyward and slung the shotgun off her back while they were in mid-air. She put a round of shot between the eyes of one of the woodland monsters who had gotten too close. Her Berettas fell to flat behind her, she didn't catch them in her holsters as the action heroes did in the movies she used to watch as a kid. A shame, it would have been epic. Her gridlock focus was broken at the sound of explosion! What the--

"Who the #*$& lit the forest on fire?" it is said that only two of nine members of any adventuring party is smart. She wondered who the second one was (including herself, of course).

She shook her head and returned to dropping these woodland monsters with pristine precision. She never wasted more than one shot--all kills. She whipped the shotgun back into its sling and picked up her twin Berettas; then she got to work again.

As the Wildfire blazed, D'ren stood behind Gunter, laughing not only at the amazing fire that had been started, but also at the rest of the group's instant hostility. Chaos was one thing D'ren loved more than anything. After all, he was flanked by the invisible angel of chaos herself, Samyazaii. As the third-in-command of all of Lucifer's troops, the chief of all chaotic demons, the yellow-eyed little bitch gleefully laughed, which was mirrored by D'ren.

In fact, D'ren remained there in the relative safety, content with not getting involved until his bloodlust (or barklust?) overpowered his rationale and he charged forward. The rain and wind eliminated the flames as he joyfully both dished out and received blows. Though he was bloodied, he was having fun.

Drenched from head to toe by the sudden supernatural saturation of rainfall, D'ren lost his footing in some mud and slipped. One of the creatures was about to impale him with its...limb, when Angela's music made all of the minions stop moving. Surprised, D'ren looked around, still on his back. He cleared his throat, drew his sword, and chopped off the head of the apparent noncombatant. He got to his feet, still grinning, and walked over toward Patricia @luna558 as she stood over one of her kills.

"Well, that was kinda fun, aye?"

Julia

Julia watched as everyone got into action right away in trying to fight off the tree warriors and calm down Rethynth, and with the holy light, it was starting to work. She was about to act when she froze, her eyes widened and all because of one word. 'Grenade' In that second there was an explosion and fire shot up. Not only did he use a grenade, he used an incendery grenade! With her pure shock and horror she was frozen for a moment. Luckily, Angela handled the situation perfectly, putting out the fire. She took a deep breath before holding her hand out towards Gunter.

"GIVE THAT HERE!"

Suddenly, his Grenade Launcher would disappear out of his hand, along with any explosives he had by using her magic. She encased them all in a purple orb before making them disappear.

"I can't believe you are that stupid! In fact, calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people! We are in the Forest of Life! I just fucking told you that and your great idea is to blow it up? I swear, are you secretly working for the bad guys? Let me put this as clear as possible to you so you understand. Forest of Life dies, Guardian of Life dies, Guardian of Life dies, Tree of Life dies, Tree of Life dies, world dies, world dies, everything dies. Guardian of Life dies, Tree of Life dies, Tree of Life dies, Forest Of Life dies, and world die. If world dies, everything dies. Do you understand now? You can get your toys back when we actually need them, not when we are in the Forest of Life, you dumbass."

Julia just screamed in anger before letting out a soft sigh. She turned to Rethynth who was maddened still, even after Angela's song, Rethynth was still rather angry and out of control. Wonder why? It was then that Julia added her own voice to Angela's. After all, Lalafell were the protectors of the Forest of Life, the protectors of the Tree of Life and the Protectors of the Guardian of Life. They were all connected emotionally. She could feel his pain, his fear, his dispair. Julia walked up to the Tree of Life and placed her hand on it. Her eyes closed and her hand glowed green. It was then that she sang the ancient song of healing.

As she sang Rethynthlet out a loud roar but she continued to sing using the power of the Tree of Life itself heal him. Now, even animals gathered around to watch. Birds tweeted the song while wolves howled the tune. Everyone was doing their part. However, it calmed him down almost completely, it didn't put him to sleep as she intended.

"Rethynth please rest for now."

She then turned to everyone else when he laid himself down and tried to rest and relax. The tree warriors sunk back into the ground as he did.

"He needs his rest while his soul his healed. I believe the cracks in reality are causing him to lose himself. He would be able to feel their darkness through the cracks, even if nothing comes through them. He is able to do this because he is connected to all life on this planet which means he is connected to all worlds and universes also. So it could also be the fact that he can feel other worlds, and the panic and fear of others is driving him to attack. Whatever it is, we must continue on to Ishaena, City of the Lalafell. We cannot stay here too much longer, we've drawn way too much attention to ourselves than I'd like."

She walked up to Rethynth and placed her hand on his hand. Her hand glowed green and she spoke once more.

"Rest Rethynth, my dear friend. We will speak soon, I promise."

Just as she was about to get going, it was then that a group of others appeared in front of them. Julia's eyes widened quickly and she stood back. Please, no, not now! Why did they have to come now?!

You cannot instant kill any of the NPCs. If you wish to try to kill them then you must do a battle post. We can either do a co-post together on whoever you are attacking or just mention me when attacking and I'll respond.

It was the Titan Armoured Roegadyn, Destro who stood forward and looked around the forest before looking towards Julia. After a quick analysis he spoke up.

"Julia, I assume you summoned these nine forigners, correct?"

Julia sighed before giving a soft nod.

"It was either that or let the world be destroyed."

Of course, she couldn't say much considering they threatened the Forest of Life and everything in it, thanks to some moron. Destro spoke up once more.

"Julia, you are under arrest for bringing forigners into Azroh. This is punishable by death. All forigners summoned, you will be arrested for entering the world of Azroh. Punishable by death. All ten of you have threatened the Forest of Life, Guardian of Life and the Tree of Life and thus threatening the world and all other worlds. This is punishable by death. Your execution date is today, starting now. All Law Enforcers, do not harm the Forest of Life, apprehend the criminals quickly. If you see a chance to kill them, do so."

Julia stood back once more. Damn it, this was why she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself, thanks Gunter, thanks a whole fucking lot. Before the Law Enforcers took action Cheif Yoal stepped forward.

"I knew you were serious on your study on these cracks but I never thought you'd be willing to become a criminal for it. Julia, Lalafell or not I am afraid I will have to fight you, in order to protect the Forest of Life. I could sense the damage Julia, I could feel it. These people are dangerous. When I called the Law Enforcers, I never expected to see you. I'm sorry it has to be this way Julia."

Julia let out a soft sigh and stepped forward.

"Some of these people may not be the best, but right now it's all we have. If you kill us the world will die anyway! Let us do our job, we can leave the forest."

As to answer her question, Bane grabbed his spear and the moment he did, everyone else did too. It was obvious, they weren't getting out without a fight.

The BIG Fight

Bane and Julia

Bane ran towards Julia, and the moment she got herself ready, Bane disappeared in the shadows. Of course he did. He reappeared out of Julia's Shadow and went to slash at her which she immediately jumped back and shot a large magic ball at him. There was no point in trying to talk to him. The Lalafell couldn't help now.

"Please, I beg of you. Don't kill the Lalafell!"

Bane wacked the magic blast away from the Tree of Life with his spear before teleporting. There was so much shadow around, Bane was at his strongest. He appeared behind Julia and tried to stab her. She quickly grabbed the spear and threw him to the side. The moment she did she used her magic to teleport Red away from the battle.

Lilly and Ming

Ming couldn't believe what was happening. Somebody was setting the forest on fire! Who was stupid enough to set the fucking forest on fire?

"Are you fucking stupid? Why are you trying to kill the forest you morons!?"

Luckily Angela put it out. It was a little after that Angela and Julia sang to the beast and it more or less calmed the dragon down. Good, the faster she could get out of here the better. She didn't trust Gunter around forests anymore, even when Julia took his explosives. Just before they left however they were blocked of by people suddenly appearing. She listened to them and she couldn't believe all this time Julia was a criminal, but then it got worse. Everyone was a criminal, and not just because of Julia but because of Gunter too.

"Hey, I didn't ask to come here?! Don't put me with those criminal scum!"

However nobody listened and a fight broke out. She clenched her fist together in anger. Thanks to Gunter and Julia, she was now a criminal. Well damn them to hell! She would make them pay! When Julia asked not to kill the Lalafell, Ming looked to her then gave a small smile. She didn't care about Julia's orders anymore. Lilly looked at the ten before vanishing. She reappered in front of Ming and went to slash at her which she instinctly rose her shield and blocked the attack. As she did she attempted to slash at the Lalafell, aiming for a killing blow right away which Lilly disappeared. She reappeared not far away and rose her staff spear. It glowed brightly, then holy arrows began to rain down on Ming, trying to stab her. Ming quickly called out.

"Samurai Art, Shield Dome!"

She held her shield up and the shield formed into a protective dome. When the attack had finished it changed back into a normal shield. With that, she shouted again.

"Samurai Art, thousand shards!"

She dropped her sword and as she did, it sunk into the ground. Suddenly a thousand shards appeared around her. She pointed to Lilly and immediately went to attack. Lilly held a single hand out and spoke.

"Deflect."

With that, her hand glowed and the shards flew twice as fast at Ming. Just before they hit the Tree of Life, Lilly pressed her hands together and formed a golden barrier around the Tree and Guardian of Life. Ming gasped, she crouched and held her shielf up, it defended against most shards but a few cut her legs quite badly. She stood up in pain as the sword formed next to her again. She grabbed it and spoke.

"Bitch, using my own attack against me."

Lilly wasn't even a Law Enforcer yet she was struggling. Damn, how strong were these people?

Chief Yoal and Gunter

Chief Yoal looked around a moment before holding his hand out.

"Show me who caused the fire."

With that, his hand glowed with magic and he began to see a vision of the events of what happened before they arrived. Through seeing them, he could tell that some of the chosen heroes Julia had brought were decent people, but that didn't matter now. He looked to Gunter and walked up to him.

"You caused the fire and so, you are my target. You are dangerous to this world. I cannot allow you to live."

He held out his right hand and a staff appeared in it. He then pointed it at Gunter and spoke.

"Prepare."

Suddenly, he swung his staff creating a huge wave of electricity heading for Gunter. As it did he slammed his staff into the ground and out of nowhere, water shot down from the clouds, aiming to soak him from head to toe before the lightning hit.

Scourge

Scourge looked around until he put his gaze on Patrica. He readied his Axe and began to walk up to her. The axe became covered in Blue Fire, he had enchanted it to kill anyone who had comitted a crime and right now, she had comitted two that he knew of. He ran up to her and jumped in the air. He came down and attempted to slash her in half with his axe.

"Die Criminal Scum!"

Mordred looked to Aeris before grabbing his staff. He then chanted out softly.

"Gods of Magic, hear my call. Give me the power, to kill all!"

He held out his hand and suddenly wind appeared in his hand. He held his right hand towards Aeris and fired at him. The moment it left his hand it became a wild ball of wind, shooting through the air quickly. He then held out his staff.

"Wind meets lightning, and strikes down my foes!"

He shot a bolt of red lightning at the wind and with that the white wind turned red and headed even faster for Aeris.

Misuki

Misuki looked around and immediately noticed another Kitsune. With that he disappeared and reappeared in front of Angela.

"Are you ready for your execution?"

He then smashed his sword down and immeditely, the sound of a super high pitched noise would shoot out around himself, Angela and Vixen, hoping to deafen them at the very least, but even more he hoped to literally make their heads explode with his sound waves.

Aizan

Aizan was stood next to Misuki, being his brother amd all. When his brother left however he turned to look to Angela to see who his brother was fighting. He gave a nod then spotted Ryteb. He disappeared quickly and appeared in front of him.

"It' play time."

Wth that he stamped on the ground and as he did a huge hand came up and attempted to punch Ryteb. As it did he placed his hand on the ground. Quickly, Ryteb's shadow would try to wrap around him and bind him so he couldn't move.

Brick

Brick had his arms folded, watching as the Law Enforcers picked their targets. He looked around and then spotted Zare. Her, with a small smile he walked up to her.

"Hey, I'm afraid I can't go easy on ya just because your a girl."

He smiled before running at her, as he did he held out his hands and clawed at the hair. His mouth opened slightly and cold air was coming out of his mouth. Just before he reached her he jumped up and attempted to breathed icy cold water at her that would freeze as soon as it touched, then as he came down he would slash at her with his icy cold claws.

Sai

Sai looked over to Dante before walking up to him. He pulled his two swords out and immediately they turned on fire. Fire and forests didn't mix sure, however this fire would only hit it's intended target. Even if he did get fire on the forest floor, it wouldn't burn until it got Dante. He quickly ran up to Dante and span around, creating a flaming tornado to try to suck Dante in. As he did, he opened his mouth letting out electrity which made the flaming tornado into a elctric flaming tornado.

Sliver

Sliver looked to D'ren before walking up to him. He gave a sly smile before clenching his fist. He hadn't had a good fight in a long time.

"Well, I certainly hope you can give me a good fight."

He smashed his hand to the ground and as he did the earth rose and formed into a wall. He then punched it and the wall headed towards D'ren. It would try and surround him and cruch him. He then ran up to him and tired to smash him with his right arm, the armour was thick and strong enough to break bone.

Bone

Bone looked to Zara and saw someone was already fighting her, in fact, everyone was fighting. They were outmatched. Bone walked up to Zara with Brick and then he smashed his hands to the ground, instantly bones shot up to try and stab her.

"Mind if I help?"

He gave a sinister smile as he watched.

Blake

Blake looked to Dante and walked up towards him. It seemed Sai was already fighting him. She smiled and then shot out cutting wind from her mouth, for now she would stay back and let Sai do most of the close combat fighting.

Reptile and Ming

Reptile saw Lilly attacking Ming, she wasn't a Law enforcer and so he went over to make sure she could do the job. He ran up to her and attempted to stab his shield into her, as he did he let out a hot firey breath that would burn her to a chrisp. He of course made sure that if it hit the forest he could dipose of it quickly.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth looked to Gunter, seeing the old Lalafell try and take care of him. She walked up towards him and then tried to grab Gunter with her tail to strangle him. This would hold him in place for Chief Yoal to finish him off.

Draco

Draco flew towards Patrica and tried to stab her with his sword. As he did he roared loudly. His sword became covered his ice as he tried to attack her.

Crunch

Crunch looked to Angela then walked up to her. He quickly ran towards Vixen and tried to do a large X slash against her back. As he did he shouted out loud his battle cry.

"Mid Vur Shaan!"

With that shout, all his allies would be able to attack faster, act faster and dodge quicker.

Salamance

Salamance looked to Aeris before shouting out loud to him.

"Ven Gaar Nos!"

With that a wirlwind was created and headedn straight for him. He ran walked up to him slowly and armed his weapons waiting.

Fang

Fang growled before walking over to Ryteb. He stared at him before speaking loudly.

"Hah, you're fighting both of us now."

He gave a small smile, waiting for a moment. For now he would see how he would handle his current attack.

Taigra

Taigra walked over to Angela and smiled over to her.

"I hope you can handle more than one enemy."

He stabbed his claws into the ground and as he did, they would shoot up beneath Vixen and Angela. He laughed loudly, watching her carefully with his sharp eyes,

Nightstalker

Nightstalker teleported behind D'ren and attempted to slash him with his claws. Then he teleported away and threw four throwing knifes at him with a snarl. He then grabbed his sword and got himself ready.

Taigress

Taigress walked up to Julia and then snarled loudly. She ran up to her on all fours before standing up and attemping to slash her with her swords.

Stone and Destro

Stone and Destro stood back for now. Right now they didn't need to get involved. They had more than enough people here to handle the criminals.

(I decided not to add the rest, there was way too many and it was taking too long. They will be coming in later however.)

"Dude I've run away from fought against gods, demons, and demon gods. This is nothing!" The kitchen yelled down, struggling against the shadow. Inside Ryteb's mind however, a different track was playing. 'Oh shit, I'm gonna die, help me pops! Wait, he's dead, help me Xythaen... no, he hates me...' et cetera.
As this was going on, the part of Ryteb's brain that had common sense was piecing together a spell that would save him. As the ancient saying goes, fight fire with fire.
"Duo de terra, unus de igne, et de duabus virtutis arcane: conteram adversarius meus auro et metallis." He chanted, as he jumped off the tree trunk. Below him, a golden fist appeared, and he rode it through the rock fist to land on the muddy earth.

"Look, I don't want to fight, but if you want to continue I should let you know I can make fires that make the grenade launcher look like a party popper."

"Oh yabat menya" Patricia stated as she reached into her bag and pulled out her gun and unloaded three shots into Draco's left wing and two into the right, which made Draco have to stop or die from blood loss "I would have done three each but there was only five rounds in baby." Patricia said as she reloaded her pistol. you could have shot him in the eye but you don't necessarily know how Julia will react. Patricia thought to herself while she looked down at her pistol, which she had named baby. And to think that where I'm from these are illegal.
