Richard Laine

Location: Sub-Basement

Mary kicking him was expected. Kicking him hard enough that he hit the wall behind him and several ribs cracked with a throbbing searing of lesser pain in comparison to the missing kidney. Tatl, the fairy girl, made a smart ass comment that had Richard severely wanting to boot her from the room. But he needed to keep Poison Ivy and Dean focused on him. The intervention of Logan was a blessing, though not one that lasted for long. Dean had sprung into action.

And then the speedster's hand was stuck in Richard. Literally. Chuckling weakly despite the blood flowing from his mouth. "For the love of..." The Adder cocked a fist and took advantage of Dean's situation. Namely by slamming his fist into the boy's head, knocking him out cold. Though he was also out of the fight with a missing kidney, his cracked ribs and a speedster connected to him like some deranged Siamese twin. Falling with the lad, Richard wrapped his arm about Dean's neck. Readying to choke the boy back into unconsciousness if he stirred. He did not want to kill the 'Puppy' after all. Giving a glare to Guin, he shook his head with a sigh. "I should be scolding you to get back Beast. Go, lass. Don't you dare die on me, or my ghost will haunt yours."

Ayita Dyrkin

Location: Formal Sitting Room -> Outside(First Floor)

The ravens were loosing the advantage in the dark for this was the realm of predators more silent of wings. But Ayita studied the prone form of Shelly as she rode the currents of air. Diving in a last descent Ayita pulled up sharply to guide across the dark lawn. Shelly was no longer her issue, the girl was prone and thus the least of her worries. Jean, however, was a threat and one Ayita well knew from what information she had been able to gather. Her wings a beating war drum as she felt her bones crack and feathers fall away. A raucous caw turning into a roar of a primal beast that had walked the shores where even she balked at walking in the North.

Then Ayita felt something slip away from her as the great white bear bounded over the lawn. No longer was she in control but a keen instinct that knew that this was a fight for... For what? Deciding that the danger poised by the Human woman was sufficient. This she-Human would not be allowed to enter her territory uncontested! Claws out stretched in the low light as they gleamed. The maw that unleashed a massive roar of fury as hundreds of pounds of muscle, fat and fur landed where Jean had been before the tricky human had moved aside like seal. These eyes were no longer holding human intelligence but raw primal instinct.

A God Damn Polar Bear.

Immediately, the urge to smash the button took Shelly as she again feared for her life. She fought herself internally, it wasn't an ejector button, and quickly her thoughts turned to an actual plan of escape. Shelly had encountered a bear or two before and had recieved a couple too many bear safety training courses during the little schooling she got. Acting like prey was a bad idea; running and continuing to play dead were only going to put her on the recieving end of a thousand pounds worth of bear. The training she'd recieved told her she should make herself as big and loud as possible, both of which were things that came quite naturally to her. But Shelly wasn't fighting a bear, Shelly was fighting a human pilot in a bear mech, at least for the time being, and right now Ayita seemed much more interested in Aunty Mindreader than her. Ayita's bear senses and bear speed was going to make escaping into the darkness impossible, making escaping inside the go to idea, especially when a polar bear would have trouble navigating doors at any speed, to continue the pursuit she'd need swap to something Shelly might be able to handle indoors. That said she did not want to join the brawl that was raging in the sitting room, getting caught in the crossfire would be as bad for her in her condition. It would leave her pursuer in pretty awful shape too, but something made Shelly think they'd be more careful with Ayita than they would with her.

Things were really getting out of fucking hand.

Shelly hadn't yet dared move, but turning her head as slightly as possible gave her a view of how clear her route to the door would be. By the window, Jean weaved between Ayita's massive paws. A turn and a swing as she reached for the door would be likely be game over. Were there other options? It was beyond risky but perhaps now Ayita had the husband/wife brother/sister duo's number they'd deal with her and she could just remain resting uncomfortably prone. Beyond risky wasn't like Shelly at all, but at this point, what wasn't?

What about talk to Ayita? Shelly had just tried that and much to her surprise neither birds nor bears could hold much conversation. Maybe there was one way to talk to her still. Shelly cleared her mind, God she hoped Second Ginger was still listening in on her private thoughts.

"Aunty, before everyone you love and care about becomes bear shit do you think you can, like..." Shelly hesitated, wondering whether what she was about to ask was stupid,"...Can you patch me through to her? Because you're right, this can still end non-violently."

Allison Andrews

Location: Professor Xavier's Office

Allison grew concerned. In order to stop everyone, she would have to fight them. Knock them out. And the professor could help, but he was not the most...mobile. So she would have to protect herself and him. They just got done with fighting amongst themselves verbally, and now they were called to do so physically.

Bobbi, however, seemed determined. And that instilled some confidence back inside of her. She gave a resolute nod. "Right. We have to try, at least. By the sounds of things, it's getting worse. So plan of attack is to target only those controlled and knock them out. The former Xmen can help if we can get to them. Jean will be useful so let's find her first. And if the worse comes to be, fight back. We can't let Mesmero win and we can't let anyone die."

Sara Grey

Location: Formal Sitting Room - Ground Floor

Sara was flung back again, this time worse as her ears starting ringing and bleeding. She shook her head. This was not going to plan thus far, so she would have to change tactics. She was able to copy a nearby powerset and opened her eyes again without lasers shooting out of them. She glared at Mira and Storm in front of her. "That hurt."

After, she unleashed a barrage of lightning, having copied Storm's powers. Storm was able to direct some of them, but she was still shocked. Mira did not do better. The girl was pushed back again after the torrent hit her. And she didn't move again. "This is fun! I'm surprised you don't do this often enough! It's so useful."

@FantasyChic@eclecticwitch "That likely would be the best course of action, as that would get you someone who might be able to help break people free potentially..." he said, nodding his head. It wasn't the best of plans, but it was definitely better than nothing, since otherwise they definitely could lose at this. "You need to be careful though, he likely managed to get a hold of the minds of several people here, however, there is also the question as to what his plan was... I will work to see if I can determine that, while you two see about helping the others..."

@LadyRunic@ColouredCyan Jean heard Shelly's thoughts, but at this point she didn't think it was worth doing what she was asking. Ayita didn't seem like she was even remotely like a human anymore. She sent Ayita flying backwards with her telekinesis, before she responded to Shelly mentally. She's being controlled by another force, and it has unleashed her animal instincts, so there is no reasoning with her, our best chance is to knock her out cold.

Cyclops aimed a shot at Ayita, but missed, it was pretty dark outside, so it was hard for him to be able to see where exactly she was. The blast hit the ground right next to Ayita, but didn't hit her, and he tried again, still missing.

@Nallore@KazAlkemi Carolina luckily doesn't seem to be getting worse, she actually seems to be doing somewhat better, the blood flow from her head is slowing somewhat, but she likely will still need to get downstairs to the medical area for a better survival chance.

Lance Banner

Location: Operating Theater (First Sub-Basement)

Lance was in pretty rough shape still, and Beast was hurrying to try and stop the bleeding, but there was too much blood still coming from his head. He bandaged him up the best that he could, and went over to see if they had any blood on hand that he could use for blood transfusions, since he knew for a fact that Lance was going to need one. There was no way he could easily see him surviving with this much blood coming from his head, but he was going to do his best to make sure that Lance survived.

Unfortunately, when he opened up the area where the blood was generally stored, he was met with an empty sight. There was effectively none that they had on hand, and it would likely result in them having to find potential donors from those within the mansion, and he made a mental note to ask for people to donate some later so that they would actually have some blood on hand.

Out in the hallway, Richard 's body was trying to heal itself, even with Dean stuck to him, so he'd actually be feeling somewhat better, but definitely still sore and hurting. Tatl didn't seem to be leaving him alone at all though, and giggled slightly at him. "You know, my grandpa once told me about a time when he had his kidney ripped out of him, actually, pretty sure he also ended up with someone stuck to him!"

The door to the operating theater opened, and Beast looked over at them. "Might I suggest that those two be brought over here so that we can see about getting the two of them separated... I do not know why Mr. Kesseli even thought to try that, as he can't keep his body moving that quickly for long periods of time... Also, Ms. Stark, I have run into a bit of a problem... It would appear that we do not have any blood on hand, and you might need to find someone who is a potential donor for Mr. Banner." he said, before they'd hear a loud noise coming from downstairs. Beast didn't seemed alarmed at all about the noise though.

Marygold Isley

Location: Mansion Front Garden (Outside)

When Gambit and Rogue reached the front yard, Mary was still fighting against Wolverine. He was easily stronger than her, but that didn't necessarily mean anything. Vines shot up from the ground, and threw Wolverine off of her, and right onto another vine that was turned into a spear of sorts and impaled him on it. Though after a moment, Logan was able to cut himself free from the vine and he dropped back onto the ground, landing on his feet.

"Goldie, the hell are ya thinkin, fightin' Logan?! Only idiots do that!"

"Clearly you are calling yourself an idiot since you use to pick fights with Logan a lot." she said with an eye roll.

"Oui mon amie so snap out of it, now!"

"To be fair, he did sort of attack me first."

"Goldie, get over here right now!"

"No way!" she responded with a bit of a laugh before she shot vines towards Wolverine again, who was easily cutting the vines to shreds before he charged at Mary, tackling her, but she threw him off again.

"I warned ya, mon amie," he said, before he sent cards flying at her. All of his cards, she easily dodged out of the way, laughing.

"You forget Remy, as I recall I was the one who generally trained with you in the Danger Room, do you really think I wouldn't be able to dodge a few cards?" she asked with a smirk, before the trees in the garden seemed to start moving towards them, and a tree branch slammed into both Rogue and Gambit, sending them flying to the side.

Wolverine knew that this was not going to end well, and he instantly grabbed his comm device from his pocket, turning it on. "Danger, I know it's been a while, but we could really use your help right now."

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Formal Sitting Room (First Floor)

The electric jolt that Sara had hit Mira with was a very powerful one, and there was a reason that Mira wasn't moving anymore. Her heart had been stopped. Pietro in the corner of the room had a major look of confusion was evident on his face when he stood up off the ground. Understanding seemed to come over his expression, but he remained where he was, and quiet. This was not the best situation to be in, and Storm instantly got up and checked on Mira's pulse, her face falling when she didn't find one.

"This is not a situation I would care very much to be in..." she muttered under her breath, when she sent another jolt of electricity through Mira's body. A moment later she took in a breath, and started breathing again. Storm stood up and turned to face Neil and Sara. "Now, what to do with you?" she asked as her eyes turned white as it suddenly started to pour down rain inside of the room, aside from a protected are which was where she currently was standing with Mira.

"Most people do know that water conducts electricity, so I wouldn't think about doing that if I were you," she said, as now Pietro, Neil and Sara were completely drenched and standing in pools of water.

Guin Stark

Location: First Sub Basement - Hallway --> Operating Theater --> First Floor - Formal Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

Guin raised an eyebrow, looking at the scene in front of her. Richard was on the floor with Dean stuck to him - and Dean was unconscious and covered in ice. And somehow, Richard thought he was in a position to boss her around? "I don't think I'm the one in danger of dying right now, Richard," Guin pointed out to him. Sure, she had a slight head wound but she felt fine and she had been able to land a decent shot on Dean. "Also, I don't take orders from you," she added.

She glanced back at Beast, nodding a bit at his words. "I got them," she replied, before she essentially dragged the Richard/Dean combo into medical and then into the operating theater. "You're going to have to lift them - my upper body strength is good, but not that good." However, her face paled slightly as he mentioned that they didn't have any blood on hand for Lance. She could think of one person off the top of her head that was the same blood type - Lance's father. She took out her phone and sent a text message to both Banner and her own father: Lance needs blood transfusion ASAP. Come to Mansion NOW.

"Okay, blood is on the way. I'm going to go help with the chaos upstairs," Guin told Beast. She didn't wait for an answer, but she did flip Richard the middle finger as she left medical and headed up the stairs. Almost immediately, she could hear the sound of rain in the formal sitting room, as well as shouting. There seemed to be fights breaking out all over the Mansion and surprisingly, Guin was calm. It was as if she had hit her terror threshold and had decided alright, we'll deal with this one asshole at a time. It also helped that she had taken five inhibitors - all they had on hand - from medical with her.

Entering the formal sitting room, she glanced around to see who all was there. Pietro, Neil, Sara, Storm, and Mira were all accounted for. At least Storm managed to keep her from getting completely soaked, that was a plus - and from that, she deduced that Storm and Mira were not controlled. The others were. "You guys had a party without me? Lame." Sara definitely would need an inhibitor. So would Pietro. And Neil. That would leave two to handle the rest of the Mansion.

Neil Spellman

Location: First Floor - Formal Sitting Room
Skills: Telekinesis

Neil couldn't really hear what the others were saying, forcing him to rely on facial expressions. Storm looked a bit sad or crestfallen as she bent over Mira, before she zapped the girl with lightning. There was a good chance that Mira had been killed or at least severely injured. Sara must have switched over the powers she was copying - and Storm then soaked them all in rain, saying something that Neil couldn't understand.

"I can't hear you," Neil muttered. He almost didn't notice Guin when she showed up - how long had she been there for? At any rate, he saw her and realized she would be easy pickings. Compared to Mira and Storm, her powers were nothing. And as long as he avoided making skin contact with her, he wouldn't have to worry about them at all. Glancing at her left knee, Neil figured that would cause maximum pain and maximum inconvenience. He just needed to get the little drug addict out of the way.

Twisting his hands as he started to use his powers on her, Neil then blinked in confusion. Quicksilver wasn't standing next to him and Sara anymore. And Guin was gone as well. "What the?" Neil mumbled, even though he wouldn't be able to hear any responses. It was all just loud ringing still.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Kitchen -- First Floor
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

Several things happened that turned Antoinette’s normally calm demeanor into something more aggressive. Her friend was thrown against the wall, twice. On the second time her impact was followed with the most horrid sound she could only compare to as the gunshot over the phone she heard years ago. Bethany’s laugh, Carolina’s screams and then Bethany’s words of her saying her friend was probably dead.
Both of Antoinette’s eyes flashed fiercely and she ran from the kitchen into the formal sitting room. Sure, this was the source of more commotion but there were people here and if they wouldn’t help her, at the very least she could get them to go after Bethany since Carolina was indisposed. She would get her friend help, she would do everything to save her. The only problem was, the room she was now in was experiencing a rather phenomenal weather system.
Rain, on top of everything, it was raining. That was a bad sign. However, it wasn’t all bad. Antoinette’s blue eye glowed brighter as her intuition sleuthed out who wasn’t in their right mind, as with Bethany. She looked to Storm, who along with Mira, made the 'normal' cut.
”Please! Carolina, she hit her head badly. She's unconscious and there's a lot of blood.”
Tears were already falling down her face as she tried to get these people to help her. Antoinette looked around the room, ready to bolt again, to find whoever she could to help Carolina.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Kitchen
Skills: N/A

Carolina slowly opened her eyes a bit, after she felt Bethany nudging her with her foot, but she simply played dead for now, and it wasn't her first time having a head injury either. She watched as her friend, made a run for the next room knowing that Annie had gone to get some help for her. Carolina felt like her head was ringing very badly and throbbed in pain, as she could feel a bit of blood sliding down the side of her head. Carolina opened her eyes again as she watched Bethany running off to the next room, figuring that Beth was now targeting her best friend.

She hoped that Annie would be alright as well and Bethany wouldn't hurt her, having hit her head Carolina knew that she had to remain still and try not to move. Her last head injury was caused by her brief encounter with Hel back in Coventry which had nearly killed her, luckily she had some really old SHIELD gizmo that her sister had given her which was a transponder for her. She was luckily able to survive that time, she just hoped Annie would come back with some help.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: The Kitchen -> Formal Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

Bethany looked down at Carolina, she was down and out for the count and wouldn't be a threat for her now and she would easily just go in and kill her later. Knowing that she had a head injury she couldn't really move right now, Bethany turned her attention back over towards Annie as she bolted out of the room. Bethany then quickly ran after Antoinette and into the next room, as she noticed that everything in the room was now wet, and raining as well.

Bethany easily spotted Antoinette at the other end of the room talking to Storm and Mira as well she didn't like that at all, as Bethany extended her own shadow over towards Annie and flung the girl again. Only to have herself suddenly be thrown across the room by a sudden gust of wind. Hitting her head against the wall, groaning slightly as she slumped down onto the floor, feeling herself getting completely drenched in rain water.

She could see Allison had some doubts, but it seemed there was no time for over thinking. She nodded when the younger girl recommended they find someone named Jean. "I'll leave it to you to point her out." She exited the room with no further time for thought. Now was a time for action. There was none of that super spy sneaky-peaky shenanigans. Bobbi walked with her head held high and her hammer swung over her shoulder.

Back down the hall, she went until a loud screeching noise reverberated around them. Bobbi flinched and instinctively put a hand over her ear. The other refused to let go of the hammer. Her ears rung and she shook her head as if to try and get whatever was buzzing in there out. Great. There was some goddamn banshee bitch out and about. She reached her arm into the void, searching for something to protect her ears. All she came back with was two cotton balls. She stared at them for a moment and then groaned. These were about as helpful as saran wrap on a dick.

She turned to Allison. "Oi, girly. You can see the future right? Can you look at see what happens if we were to just charge into the front room there?" She spoke a bit too loudly what with her ears calling out the end of school continuously. She gestured to the opening, cotton balls still grasped tightly in her palm.

Richard Laine

Location: Sub-Basement

Richard groaned as Guin snapped at him. "You don't take orders, period." The former assassin retorted tartly, before turning his attention to the little brat who kept annoying him. He never had a thing against fairies, but he was starting to get one."Lovely, excellent. Did he perhaps tell you how he got unstuck?" The snake-eyed man rolled his eyes with exaggeration. All in all, Richard was very aware he could do very little without hurting himself with how Dean was still stuck in him. So it was better to wait this entire thing out and just lay still and keep the 'Puppy' still as well.

"Probably because I slammed his forehead in the door and he decided to grow a pair at the worst time." Richard groused to Beast as the man appeared in the doorway. Closing his eyes, Richard shrugged best he could without ripping something inside of himself and sighed. "Ayita can receive all types of blood, but she can't give any. A+ myself so I don't know that I can help." Giving the boy in his arms a look, Richard groaned. "Just get a damn surgical blade, a keg of liquor and start letting me drink. Then start cutting. I'll heal, just may take a bit." Richard winced, "Of course I'd prefer the least painful route, but beats getting your arm blown off and regrowing it." Glancing at Beast the former assassin shrugged. "Army.I- ah- took a permanent leave when I noticed what was happening."

Ayita Dyrkin

Location: Outside(First Floor)

Well, Ayita felt the instincts of the bear roll about her like currents of the ocean. Her coherent sense of self so far above her head, like the surface of the waves. Yet why should she obtain that back? The bear was using her knowledge and controlling their body just as well as she would have and in this sea of thought she was comfortable. Fear, doubts, restraint. It was all brushed away with the constant rhythm of the shifting ways life moved. The swirls of the wind, the steady turn of the seasons, the constant swells and crests of waves. These were things that no 'human' could understand, even if they called themselves mutants. Marygold and her 'wisedom' to be better! Bah! The bear roared as it was thrown back and the earth around Bear-Ayita was erupted from Scott's blasts. As if that horrid little she-bitch knew of the drive of survival.

Death always came in the end and while Ayita had no desire to die, she had no desire to allow her mate and pack to die. So she had acted, allowed the instincts to drive her and took a life. Surging up through the waves of instinct, Ayita scrambled for the surface. No doubt these hunters would want her pelt and meat as well, and she was of mind with the hunters. That desire to remain living drove her against the barrier of instinct. The great white bear swung it's head towards the married pair, letting out a snarling roar as Ayita's mind returned in full force. Let these hunters beware! She'd feast upon them for their desire to hunt her! Slamming into Scott, the bear's rush jarred the man's glasses and the laser hit Ayita and the two other women sending them to the ground.

Ayita's in the passenger seat of the bear mech? Who else was 'controlled'?

The idea that some of them were being manipulated was highly disturbing. Was she under control? If she was, it certainly wasn't like earlier when she punched herself in the face but Old Spice didn't say 'made to dance like a marionette' she said 'under control'. Whats to say her emotions weren't being played with in order to subtly force her to comply with the puppeteer's grand scheme? Shelly thought about her actions up until this point, had she done anything particularly out of character? Nothing stood out, could she continue safe in the knowledge she wasn't controlled? Maybe she could assume so for now.

Could she even trust the psychic? She was the one delivering the information, but what was part of the ruse? What if its intention was to destroy any remaining faith in X-men? What if its intention was to revive any remaining faith in X-men? Source or not, she'd been really inconsistent when it came to violence, punishing thoughtcrime, insisting on non-violence afterwards and now, after she'd come to a decent plan to sate the Ayita's rage without injury then informs her violence was the only solution? It was fucking with her head. If it weren't for the fact she'd gained some small respite from fighting due to their intervention, she wouldn't have even considered she was telling the truth. The story did add up though. It was a good explanation for the violence escalating in the sitting room also, Shelly's running theory up until this point was that other muties had gotten involved in the Irony vs Speed punch up, rival factions had been drawn up and they'd been duking it out, mutant-style, ever since. Instead some people, maybe even Mister Irony himself, were chosen to do some unknown force's bidding, thus fighting. Made sense.

With everyone fighting, whether they be the instigators or in self defence, Shelly had absolutely no way to verify who was controlled and who wasn't. It meant that she couldn't, in good conscious, go round knocking people senseless, or did it? Because atleast if Shelly did it she could be relied on not take it any further than that and no permanent damage would be the result. Or could she? Shelly had no idea at this point.

Out of the darkness, Ayita charged. It was terrifying to watch, and must have been even worse to be on the recieving end. The apex predator wasn't anywhere to be seen one moment, and pounding, full pelt, towards the couple/siblings the next. It was tough to tell initially if she'd had gotten the upperhand on them, it didn't seem so as the bear was beamed to the ground, but Ayita wasn't the only one. As the beam caught Jean, Shelly watched the man's goggles slide across the patio. She had to get those back to him, Shelly couldn't fight the bear, but it looked lik-

A familiar pain seared across Shelly's back as the beam swept across her. But there were more important issues at hand, if Shelly could take one of those Ayita wouldn't be out for long either and Shelly was down a convienent ally or two. Shelly grit her teeth and scrambled up with impressive vigor, fighting through all the pain, snatching up the visor in her left hand and making a break for the only other standing silhouette outside.

Ignoring the pain was not outside Shelly's capacity, she'd fought rough slugging matches before, but the reality of the totality of her injuries couldn't be. The numbness down her left side, the broken rib, the face shot and the recent blast to her back; she'd overstretched getting up so fast and in her hubris, Shelly'd stumbled and her grip on the visor was lost. It was closer than before, maybe even the rattling and bouncing noise it made as it scraped across the floor would help him locate it, but it was still going to take a miracle for him to get it back on his face, eyes closed, despite Shelly's efforts. It was mortifying, and the embarassment would have killed her then and there if it weren't for the presence of a bloody polar bear.

The mound of fur and muscle stirred slightly in the dim light radiating from the house.

"What the fuck are you going to do Shelly? You going to go toe to toe with a fucking bear? In your condition?" It was a terrifying thought, but maybe bear baiting, even for an instant, would give the other two a gnat's dick of a chance at subduing Ayita, because if they went down first Shelly was pretty fucked anyway, and they were already kinda down. Inside, Shelly was trembling. Outside though, Shelly was fucking trembling. "Was I really going to do this?" Shelly was running out of time before the bear would be active again, this was probably her only chance to say some meaningful last words. She drew in a deep breath.

"FUCK OFF MUTIES!"

Allison Andrews

Location: Professor Xavier's Office

Allison was worried, but it was more so for everyone else than herself. If Mesmero was controlling some of them, then the chances of someone dying rose. After all, there was a mansion full of mutants with powers. She looked at Bobbi, and shrugged her shoulders. "That's not...I don't know. I've never really tried before. They just sort of came. But I'll give it a go." And sure enough, through her will, Allison was able to latch onto a vision. In it, she saw the room before them. Them rushing in with a rainstorm and a giant tornado. Storm was handling the tornado, Mira was crumpled on the floor, barely breathing, and Annie is there trying to get help for Carolina.

She came back and shook it off. She was proud she did it, but now was not the time to pat herself on the back. "I got one. The room is in chaos at the moment. Sara and Storm are facing off. If we go in, there's a good chance we'll get in the middle of their weather battle. Mira's there and barely alive and Carolina is apparently hurt, if Annie is looking for help. I also didn't see Jean in the room which means she is somewhere else. We should stay clear of that room until we find her."

She made her way to the door, waiting on the others. "Ready?"

Sara Grey

Location: Formal Sitting Room - Ground Floor

Sara did as Allison's vision said. She chuckled, "You summoned water. Bravo. Even I know electricity and water don't mix. Want to know what does work well with water though?" Sara then moved her hands in a circular motion, summoning a large tornado that spiraled directly at Storm. The woman managed to hold on to it as the winds tore up the room around them.

Sara paid everyone else little mind. As far as she was concerned, they were annoyances the others could deal with. Mira was barely clinging on and Storm needed to be stopped. She pushed forward. "Succumb and end this! Everyone here will die. There's no other way."

@LadyRunic "Well why don't ya just shift into a snake or something? I mean, couldn't you just do that? Your body technically would shift too, so couldn't that just work? You'd be able to unravel from around him then!" Tatl said, still fluttering around Richard as Beast helped him up onto a bed of sorts. Hearing Tatl's words, Beast hesitated, and looked at Richard.

"...In theory, that should work actually, since your body morphs, you should be able to just unravel should you take on the form of a serpent..." he said, looking at him. "As for blood types, even if you were the same blood type as Mr. Banner I would suggest highly against even thinking about being a blood donor in your state. Anyone with any sort of injury shouldn't be acting as a blood donor unfortunately..."

"Your suggestion about him turning into a serpent is a sound one, and likely will end with the intended result," a voice said from the doorway. Standing there was a woman or sorts, but something wasn't quite right. She was made completely of wires and robotic parts, but the tech used to build her didn't even seem like it was from Earth.

"Hello there Danger, it would appear that the situation is most dire indeed if someone activated you..."

"Yes, it would appear so, as I received a call from Wolverine that my assistance would be beneficial. Would you mind telling me where to go?"

"Somewhere upstairs."

"Thank you, your assistance is appreciated," she said, before she left the room. Beast hadn't seemed at all alarmed to see her there.

@FantasyChic@eclecticwitch "I suggest the two of you hurry," Xavier said, there was a loud crash of sorts coming from the Sitting Room. After a moment, the sounds quieted down, and it was oddly quiet now in that direction.

@FantasyChic@Nallore@Morose@KazAlkemi Now Storm was pissed off, and if there was one thing you never would want to do is piss off a woman who among her people back in Africa was considered a goddess. Her eyes clouded over, turning white, and she looked right at Sara, the cloak she was wearing started billowing in the wind that started whirling around her. "You know not what you speak of child, for you know not what power you have. How about a science lesson for those who know nothing about how water conducts electricity," she said, before the tornado that was between her and Sara exploded. Annie ended up getting sent back with enough force to land her into the parlor. Bethany slammed into the wall yet again, but was still in the Sitting Room, and the same thing happened to both Neil and Sara as the pair slammed into a wall as well. Problem was, all three of them were soaked and landed in puddles of water. Storm raised her hands into the air, and they'd be able to see the lightning crackling in her hands, before she slammed it downward, striking the water in the room. Bethany, Neil and Sara all would feel the lightning course through their body, causing severe burns. Luckily for one thing, Storm was smart enough not to use enough force to stop their hearts, the bad news was that odds were if they were to do anything it likely would cause a lot of pain.

Storm picked Mira up off the ground, the weather within the room definitely was clearing up, and she raced into the parlor to where Annie was, she managed to maneuver her body around to help Annie up off the ground with a free hand. "Are you alright? Listen, I'll go get your friend Carolina, however I need you to take Mira into that elevator," she said, pointing to the high speed transport in the corner, "And go down to the First Sub-Basement and get her into the operating theater, that is the main medical area and Hank should be there I would figure, so go get her there, alright?" she continued, before she led Annie over slightly towards the elevator, and helped her so that she'd be able to drag Mira somewhat. Storm nodded her head slightly, before she took off.

@Nallore Storm raced into the kitchen area, straight over to Carolina. "Are you alright? We need to get you downstairs... Do you think you might be able to walk, or do you need me to carry you?" she asked, checking Carolina's head injury. Odds were she'd need a blood transfusion, but the bleeding still seemed to be slowing down, so perhaps with some aid, she should be able to walk, as long as Storm let Carolina lean on her.

@LadyRunic@ColouredCyan "You should be careful what you say to an angry polar bear," Jean said instantly, clearly getting somewhat annoyed with Shelly's choice of words. She raced over to Cyclops, "Scott, do you trust me?" she asked him quietly, and he just nodded his head slightly in response. "Alright, keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them."

Glancing over at Shelly, she looked up at her, You might want to move aside for a moment, she said telepathically to Shelly, as she helped Cyclops to his feet, and he was keeping his eyes tightly shut. Eventually, she moved to be directly behind him, and directed him towards Ayita. His blast is more powerful, but less controlled when he isn't wearing the visor, she explained to Shelly. "Open," she whispered, as Cyclops opened his eyes, her hands on either side of his head. It took a moment for her to be able to control the blast, missing the first two tries, before she managed to slam an attack on Ayita, knocking the bear aside yet again. Ayita would start really feeling the pain now, but she'd easily still be able to fight. Cyclops closed his eyes again, and Jean used her telekinesis to bring the visor back to him, putting them on his head, allowing him to easily see again.

“Danger Chère, if ya come and help I’ll let ya see it.” Gambit said over the radio.

"I am almost there Gambit, though there seems to be more than a few problems elsewhere in the mansion." her voice responded.

“Well this is the priority damn it!”

"You're looking to the freaking robot to help you? That's pathetic!" Mary said with a laugh, shaking her head slightly at his words.

“Shut it Goldie, ya ain’t as funny as ya think!”

"Who says I was even trying?" she said, before she waved her hand, almost effortlessly. Vines instantly shot out of the ground and slammed into Gambit, she smirked slightly, looking like she was going to start laughing.

“God fucking damn it why do ah even bother?!”

"Remy, something is clearly wrong, we got ta knock her out and maybe figure out what the hell is goin' on before she seriously hurts someone!" Rogue said, helping him up off the ground.

“She ain’t the Goldie I love.”

"No, ya right, but there has ta be a reason considering she was actin' different earlier!"

Wolverine figured that there was enough talking, and his claws unsheathed, he charged at Mary. She wasn't fast enough to blast him away from her, before he managed to slash at her, causing her to stumble backwards.

@Morose "Guina? I thought I told you not to come up here!" Pietro said, sounding somewhat panicked. The pair would be able to hear the sounds from inside the Sitting Room, feel the gust of wind, and see the electricity that Storm had caused. "Guina, you need to get downstairs, where it is safer! Honestly, please just listen to me for once alright? This is just chaos now!" Pietro said, still freaking out a bit, he seemed more normal now though. However, now where she stood, Guin would be able to see what was going on outside in the dark with Mary and in a 3 against one lopsided fight.

"Excuse me," a voice said, and Danger walked up to the pair of them. "Currently I'm looking for the fighting that involves Wolverine, as he called for my aid, you wouldn't by chance know where that might be would you?" though Guin would recognize her voice. It was the voice that sounded off whenever someone entered the Danger Room while a program was in session.

Neil Spellman

Location: First Floor - Formal Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

Neil had never experienced this level of pain before. There had been times back home when his cousin had messed up with a spell, hurting him and causing his aunties to have to fix it up before it left a scar. Nothing could have prepared him for being slammed back into the wall from an exploding tornado, followed by a lightning strike. Every cell in his body felt like it was on fire and Neil knew that he was screaming in pain, just because of the ache in the back of his throat from it. He still couldn't hear a damn thing, so he had no idea what the others were saying.

Neil thought for a second about telling the others in the room what he was about to do, but he couldn't hear them if they responded anyways so there was very little point in it. He started to move in the direction of the front entrance, but each step was incredibly painful and the world was swaying in front of him. He hardly made it a few feet before Neil had to hug the wall and he shut his eyes, wishing the godawful ringing in his ears would stop. It made him want to puke and put a stick in his head to get it to stop somehow.

The exit of the sitting room seemed to be impossibly far away and Neil took another few staggering steps forward. If they made it out of this alive, he was going to need a lot of physical therapy, that much was for sure.

Guin Stark

Location: First Floor - Front Entrance
Skills: Electronics and Computers, Investigation, Perception, Deduction, Mechanics

Guin blinked slightly, readjusting to the rapid change in surroundings. She was more used to it than before she had started dating Pietro. Out of everyone at the Mansion (with the exception of other speedsters), she probably had the best tolerance to traveling at Pietro level speeds. He had something against taking cars to go on dates, so it was always Pietro picking her up bridal style and running her off places. "Hey, hold the phone here Piet, I'm the one saving people this time! Newsflash, people are dying downstairs too. So you can either help me administer these inhibitors and get Lance a blood donor, or you can go be the damsel in distress downstairs," Guin pointed out to him.

Guin then stood up on her toes and gave Pietro a kiss. "It's safer there anyways and you already got mind controlled today." She smirked a bit at him. While she had been feeling paranoid and useless earlier, she had saved Richard and Lance's lives today. It was doing wonders for her confidence as a member of the X-Men. She then turned slightly on the ball of her foot, spotting a beautiful woman made entirely out of foreign technology. It wasn't anything like what they had on Earth - it reminded her a little bit of what Thor used but it was still different even to that.

"...You're the Danger Room," Guin was grinning madly at the robotic woman. "This is so freaking cool! Can you adopt me and be my real mom? Also... Wolverine is that way," Guin spun her hand in a circle before pointing outside, where the lopsided fight was going on.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Formal Sitting Room ---> Parlor Room ---> Elevator ---> Operating Theater -- First Sub-Basement
Skills:

There was so much chaos in this room, it was starting to hurt Antoinette’s head but she wouldn’t leave with some sort of help. Storm was still very much in control and took over the situation. She dispersed the tornado that Sara had commanded only seconds before but it sent Antoinette back into the parlor, thankfully she remained mostly unharmed. She struggled to get to her feet, a bit disoriented from the throw but she didn’t have to lay there for long. Storm came in, with Mira in tow and gave Antoinette several instructions with the promise of getting Carolina help.
The petite girl relaxed and nodded, she put Mira’s arm over her shoulders and helped her to the elevator. Antoinette was grateful for Storm’s assistance though as she was still a bit disoriented from the throw.
”Here, hold onto this for a moment,” Antoinette said as she propped Mira against the wall of the elevator in order to find the right button on the panel inside the elevator. Her hands were a bit shaky as she pushed the button to the first sub-basement. Within seconds the elevator doors were opening again and Antoinette gathered Mira back up and into the fray of what was the sub-basement.
She looked around, trying to remember where the operating theater was. Luckily, she heard voices and there was a trail of blood leading her where she needed to go. Antoinette swallowed and hefted Mira up and down the hallway into the room. She immediately saw Beast, everyone else kind of a blur at the moment.
”We could use some assistance,” she spoke tentatively.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Kitchen
Skills: N/A

Carolina could hear the noise going on in the formal sitting room, she wasn't sure what was going on in there, but it certainly didn't sound good at all. And then there was quiet, as she tried to move a little bit she could hear Storm's voice and smiled slightly, she was grateful that Annie managed to send some help for her. "I might need some assistance, not my first head injury they aren't really pretty." Carolina said softly, and started to slowly get back to her feet and instantly she felt really dizzy and leaned herself up against the nearby counter.

"What happened in the other room?" Carolina asked Storm, from her brief attempt to try and take over Bethany she was shoved back out by someone else which was weird. She knew that Beth wasn't really in control of herself, but still she went to attack her for no reason either and she did have a dislike for her. Carolina reached for the back of her forehead and felt the blood on the back of her head and looked down at it.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: Formal Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

Bethany watched as Sara tried to use Storm's powers only to have it be deflected by her, and now she started to regret chasing after Annie, as she was knocked back by the gust of wind and hit herself up against the wall again groaning slightly. Then she looked up at Storm as she watched the lightening starting to form, as she landed in a puddle of water. She then started to let out a very loud scream in pain as the electrified water coursed through her body.

Her body them slumped back down onto the ground, feeling her skin tingling as well as a bit of burnt skin as well, she tried to move only to cry out in pain. Bethany turned her head slightly as she watched her target making her way towards the elevator and then Storm leaving the room to tend to Carolina. She tried to get back up onto her feet again only to groan again as she used the wall to support herself a little bit.

Michelle "Shelly" Diggby

Location: Patio
Skills: Stamina

Shelly backed off as asked. Shelly didn't care much what Ginger had to say about her language, the presense of an angry polar bear demanded her attention. Shelly however, was impressed by the display of intimacy. Shelly could not imagine neither daring to direct a blind relations eye beams towards a common enemy and more impressively, allow her eye beams be directed by a relation while blinded. While the goal of knocking out a crazed student was perhaps not the most romantic, it was hard to argue that the manner in which they were doing demonstrated a level of trust and deepness of connection Shelly had only a cursory relationship with. Ordinarily Shelly would have regarded this act of love with jealousy but it was saving her ass right now so she was glad for it.

Another concussive blast rattled the door and the intact window behind her, a great gust wind blowing a spattering of water out with it. The battle raged on indoors and Shelly didn't have enough gas left to navigate through it, she was running on fumes and she knew it. The trembling never was just fear, she was spent also. She had about a final "fuck off" in her, a button push and maybe not even that. There was no leaving though, the bear guarded the darkness and mutant puppets guarded the house. She was pinned to the patio. But she wasn't alone out here, she had her defenders here so...

The couple were pinned to her.

"God, how could I be so fucking stupid?" It dawned on Shelly that if she weren't still on the patio they could have retreated, inside was a death trap to her, but maybe not to them. Because they weren't a liability. Instead they fought the bear hamstringed by her and there wasn't much left she could do about it. It took all she had to just stand there. The cogs stilled turned in Shelly's mind however and they formed a final plan. She couldn't continue to endanger them both like this. She knew what this risked, It was danger with a touch of penitence.

Shelly pointed towards the Day Room.

"Uncle, seems like this potty mouth needs one last ettiquette lesson tonight, would you do me-" Her broken rib throbbed violently and Shelly couldn't help but clutch at her side with her spare hand and take a breath, "would you do me the honour?"

She'd be out, no doubt from either the impact with the blast, the window, the floor or the wall, but she was going to be out somewhere soon anyway and, as far as she could tell, it was her only chance at relative safety.

"Just don't forget about me, ok?"

Location: Hallway ====> Front Room

She smacked Allison lightly on the arm. "There ya go, gurl. Just try, even if you don't think it'll work. You might be surprised at the outcome." She gave the girl her brightest, crooked grin. Her words had been slightly muted due to the cotton balls but she still heard her well enough. It seemed that with her success Allison had become bolder. Bobbi understood that she was, perhaps, not the most fightiest of mutants. So the Detroit girl pushed her way in front of the younger. "Let me go first."

Bobbi lowered her hammer in preparation to swing upward into someone's jaw as she entered the room. Things seemed quiet. Everyone was down and Bobbi wasn't quite sure how to interpret all that was going on. Her body vibrated with energy as she prepared to knock the shit out of anyone who dared come at her or Allison. "Oi, fuckers. What the shit?" As she moved further into the room her hammer was ready for a taste of blood should anyone suddenly rise. She noted the broken window and blood on the faces all of the youngsters. "You have five seconds, Before I blast you to kingdom come and Xavier frees your brainspace," she at them. Her fingers adjusting to hold more tightly to her hammer. She kept in mind Allison's position, feeling the need to protect the young woman from any harm. "What the fuck?"

Richard Laine

Location: Sub-Basement

Richard pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed in annoyance. "Well, yes. By all rights that should work, but far be it from me that I am not so similar in my faith of my ability to shift as my sister." The Adder snapped slightly annoyed by Tatl, but learning to turn the young child's words into something of white noise. "Ah-Beast...?" The not-so-former assassin's attention was caught by the strange woman that appeared in the middle of the conversation and for once Richard found himself at a loss for words. After all, it wasn't often, or at all, that one considered the fact the Danger Room had a concision!

Watching the woman of wires walk away, Richard shrugged weakly. "There are some things about this place I will never get used to." He noted with a sigh of resignation. It wouldn't do for Dean to wake up still in the control of- well- whatever was controlling him, but worse yet it wouldn't do for the Puppy to finish killing him. Richard still had a long life and planned to live it. Focusing at the task at hand, he meticulously began to attempt to take the form of his namesake. While he could shift quickly, he was being extremely careful as he had just gotten one kidney ripped out, and Richard would be the first to admit he `was not as at home with his powers as Ayita. Soon there was a very slowly coiling Adder next to Dean as Richard settled in for a rest.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location: Outside(First Floor)

This form wasn't working, Ayita snarled rising on her hindlegs as she studied the trio. Charging constantly was never going to work, and darkness was falling fast. Something that would aid her in this battle of three verses one, as she would have the upperhand in the dark. Though not in this form. So Ayita began to shift, her form becoming that of a sleek tabby. If she could get close she had various forms she could take in a moment that would deal greater damage. For a minute she considered calling the three kittens of Remy's into the fray but she could not sense their presence and there was no reason to hunt them down and risk their young lives in the grand scheme of things.

Slinking through the darkness, Ayita planned her next moves. Eyeing her prey as she considered the best tactics of approach. A skunk would work quite well. A porcupine would be a horror so close. Though shifting to something with fangs and claws would be expected from her. Finally close to them, Ayita smirked the smile of a cat in cream. Springing up Scott's leg and sinking her claws into the man as she raked her hind claws into his flesh and worked herself higher and into more tender places.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: Formal Sitting Room

Allison followed Bobbi out, impressed the woman was eager to lead the charge. Based on what she saw in her vision, she was not looking forward to what she saw in the room. However, it seemed the battle had already happened. Sara, Neil, and Bethany were in the room in various states of injury. The room was destroyed. Storm and Mira were gone. She assumed Storm got Mira out and went to go help Annie with Carolina.

Sara stood up slowly, glancing at the new people who entered. She didn't know who the one girl was, but she came in with guns blazing, so Sara would meet her halfway there. She stared Allison down and tried to copy her powers. Allison sensed something and blocked her mind off, but not before Sara could grasp her precognition. Immediately, Sara was struck with a vision. In it, she saw a grave, clearly marked with Professor Xavier's name. The man in front of it, looking dashing in a uniform, was none other than Magneto.

Sara came back and grinned wickedly. "God that is a horrible power. How do you live with yourself knowing when people will die. Speaking of which, seems our dear professor is not long for this world. Such a shame." Allison shook her head. "You take the good and the bad. And speaking of bad, turn yourselves in and let us help you. You are being controlled." Sara laughed. "Look in the mirror hun. We aren't the only ones."

Allison threw her hands in an attempt to hold them down, but she couldn't grasp them. She never tried something so heavy and hard before. Instead, she needed them to get down quickly while they found Jean. So she did the next best thing, summoning as much power as she could muster, she flung all of them from the room towards the open window. She managed it. "Quick, hold them down and let the the professor at them, we need to find Jean!"

@LadyRunic@KazAlkemi "That was Danger, she isn't exactly from around here... Though you'd recognize her as the voice of the Danger Room, she is a valuable ally when the need arises... Sounds like Wolverine is in need of some assistance..." Beast said, before turning towards Annie, picking Mira up and setting her onto a bed, before turning to look at Annie. "Ms. McCarthy, I must insist that you sit down," he said, pointing to the head injury that she had as well, before leading her over to another bed. It seemed that head injuries were becoming really popular among the students. He grabbed some bandages and started bandaging her injuries. "Though it sounds like the beds in here will be filled up more before the night is over."

After bandaging her injuries, Beast went over to check on Mira, there wasn't much he was able to do at the moment aside from hook her up to a heart rate monitor and bandage up her leg and any other visible injuries. Annie would be able to see Lance lying on one of the beds as well, his skin looking deathly pale and a bloody bandage on his head. Beast went over to change the bandage, since the bleeding had almost completely stopped by now, but he did look a little grim. "I do hope that whoever Ms. Stark called arrives soon..." he said, before going over to check on Dean now that he was detached from Richard.

@Nallore "Of course..." Storm said, before she went over, putting an arm around Carolina and let her lean on her as she slowly led her towards the nearest elevator. "We'll have Hank get a look at you, and you likely will need a blood transfusion from what I can tell... Hopefully we have blood on hand or someone who can be a blood donor for you... As for what happened out there, someone decided to copy my powers and try to control the weather, pretty sure she didn't realize just how hard it is to truly master that ability... I ended up having to send a shockwave of lightning through the room to slow them down in order to get Mira away, having already sent the one who asked me to help you out of there before doing so of course..." she continued, before the pair managed to make it to a nearby elevator.

@FantasyChic@Nallore@Morose@eclecticwitch@LadyRunic@ColouredCyan Well Allison now that she has basically thrown people out a window can definitely see where Jean is, and it appears that she is outside dealing with Ayita. Jean uses her telekinesis to get Ayita off of Cyclops rather easily, and is just holding her suspended in the air. Her hold on Ayita seems to be fairly steady and strong, since she doesn't have many other options to deal with her. Cyclops grits his teeth slightly from the pain the cat had caused, and was now aiming his visor right at her. "Give it up, now, otherwise you'll be in a world of hurt... Jean, think you might be able to figure out what the hell is going on?"

"Maybe..." she said, she knew it was mind control, but wasn't exactly positive that she'd be able to break Ayita free, since to her the girl had seemed a bit mental before all of this, and that likely might cause a few problems in and of itself.

@Morose "You are a bit of a strange one... Though I do thank you for the information regarding the location of Wolverine..." Danger said, before she walked out the front doors of the mansion.

"Okay... You totally were fangirling over the android there... And who the hell knew that the freaking Danger Room was kind of a walking around, kind of living almost thing?" Pietro couldn't help but say, before addressing the other part of what she said. "As I recall, mind controlled me still was telling you to stay away from the fighting you know, honestly you never ever listen to me, even when I am trying to help you!" he said, shaking his head at her.

"Now, give me the inhibitors, shouldn't be too hard to hit those effected by the mind control with them."

Marygold Isley

Location: Mansion Front Garden (Outside)

Mary stumbled backwards from Wolverine after the first slash caused her to be bleeding, before he could hit her again. She waved her hands slightly, before she sent a swarm of vines charging, slamming into Wolverine, sending him 500 feet away from her. "This is an interesting situation to walk into," Danger's voice said as she walked outside.

"Danger, mon amie, Goldie's gone nutso! Can ya restrain Goldie, s'il te plait?"

Danger nodded her head, before she raced over and grabbed onto Mary, twisting her arms behind her back. Mary let out a scream of rage, and this time she just tilts her head slightly, and she and Danger both are thrown up into the air by the vines. Mary manages to break free somewhat, and another group of vines shoot up from the ground, catching her, and she slides down back to the ground. Danger on the other hand slams into the ground, but is back up on her feet again without any problems. "That was a bit unexpected, even for me as I know just about every possible strategy that the team usually uses, that was a bit strange... Though a quick word of caution, I would recommend not touching her skin at all..."

"What, did she over moisturize or somethin' mon amie?" Gambit asked, charging up a bunch of cards and throwing them at Mary, no longer holding back.

"No, her body seems to be creating a very dangerous toxin that was not a part of her previously known abilities." As for the cards, out of the several he had thrown, Mary had managed to dodge every single one aside from the last one, which slammed into her, causing several burns on her body and she stumbled back, but she looked seriously pissed off.

"....Secondary mutation?"

"It would appear to be the case."

"That's just freakin' great...."

"So I suggest we proceed with caution, or at least more of you and anyone else who does not possess Wolverine's healing factor," she said, before a mob of vines charged at her again, but she was able to rather easily avoid them.
