Also also, would it bug you terribly if I sketched out at map of the rooms inside the mountain? I'm kind of a visual person and while I know how everything is supposed to be laid out, having it down on paper would help me a ton. When it's done I can PM it to you to make sure I got everything more or less in the right areas.

I would suppose its based on the lineage and caste. Lessers having a simple understanding like animalistic grunts and verbal mannerisms while greaters could have anything from a specific language, a shapeless language that can only be spoken with a forked or >two tongues, or even telepathy.

I'm not a gm, but everything I've said about demons and such so far is just my barest understanding of para-dimensional zoology.
Until I'm corrected by a gm, I'll just be a self-righteous jerk as assume I'm right.

My CS was accepted, so at the very least, there is a link between Latin and demonic script. In some way, there might technically be a language for demons. Though humanity has separate languages, so who could possibly tell what dialects and branching languages demons have.

@Hawlin Hm. Usually I just use Enochian for made up languages. Mostly because nobody knows about Enochian.

Enochian is an old Occult language used in 16th century England

Luci uses Latin because that's what he was taught to read along with 'common' (English in our case) for the sake of the beaten-to-hell bible he learned from.
Because a drifting priest threw it at him in self defense and Luci wanted to be nice and return it. (in the CS, kinda)

I try not to use 'made up' languages because anyone with the patience to enter text into google translate should be rewarded.
