Don't be intimidated. I am sorry. You guys don't need to follow my standard, but I am rather High Casual myself. I like heavy character post and I like to catch the mood, the atmosphere the feel. I want my characters and the world to feel as livable and people'd as it can. I want every word to come off the page to have a reason, motivate, and clear indication of things going on.

I write novels in my spare time, trying to become a published author. RPs are for me fun, but practice for characterization and story telling.

I see RPs as Collaborative Stories. More than characters going from Point A to Point B. I never want to feel like a character exist just to move the plot along. It's depressing and inspires no one.

I'd preferred with your character how Polaris or Duoya did it. Get into your characters head more. Make them feel more. I'll be frank, beside the non human characters who cannot express humanely. I prefer human characters to have fears, thoughts about the current environment and don't necessarily like when people just jump to the next thing.

Like, "oh head to the lounge"

and he's at the lounge

I also prefer a bit more show then tell

-He got up at 6 am
-Then he brushed his teeth
-Then he made breakfast

Versus

He sighed, looking at the clock it was 6 am. He hated to get up at this hour, groaning and trying to cover his eyes he forced them shut to go back to sleep. Couldn't get comfortable. Couldn't sleep. Fuck! His eyes wide open alert, his mind lagging and still tired. Getting up fine, he would just brush his teeth.

I know this isn't your character I was just sort of expressing show versus tell.

Kinda envious. I have a number of ideas, but I always reach a point where what I write isn't what I see in my head. So they kinda stall. Also sucks not havi g a pc at the moment.
