@GamerXZ

You have to choose one of the three. It's in the name of the RP. You aren't allowed to make Neutral Characters.

Given the broad domains of the three factions you can fit just about any character into at least one of them.

Alright, fair enough, and thanks.

Although, on a personal note, which side currently is in need of more characters?

@GamerXZ If you want advice from the peanut gallery on which you best fit into, we're happy to oblige.

I'd appreciate that. I have this character who is a dimension-hopping witch and when I brought it up with Windel, they mentioned that person could likely fit into the Angels faction.

Angels or Machina could use more characters.

Technically you can be neutral, but it means applying to the Happyverse rather than the Nexus.

I assume you'll be fine with explaining to @GamerXZ what the Happy Verse is then, yes? In any case, I should tell you Gamer, that Happy Verse characters don't really get that much screen time. It's best you stick to one of the three traditional Factions as any exceptions need to be heavily reviewed by the GMs.

@GamerXZ The Happyverse is a separate universe from the Nexus. Nexus is eternal war, and once you're inside, you can't leave. Happyverse is eternal peace, and ruled by cats.

So, if you go to the Happyverse, you basically have to make up your own SoL adventures, and don't get to interact with the Nexus. If you go to the Nexus, you're forever in the war that is the main focus of the RP, so you always have things to do.

It matters slightly because eventually the Happyverse and the Nexus will meet, and obviously, there will be some differences of opinion when eternal peace and eternal war meet. I only brought it up because you mentioned you're a dimension hopper, and if you go into the Nexus, you don't get to leave. You're stuck. If the concept of dimension hopping is key to the character rather than merely a reason to get to the Nexus, I figured you might want to know all the options.

Alright, thanks for your input.

I asked cause dimension hopping is kinda key to my character and their powers, like you believed.

So, I know I asked this shortly before the end of the previous thread but what exactly is the recommended power level for this thread?

To put things into perspective, the strongest character in the last thread could create black holes. So you wanna go for just under that.

@GamerXZ If dimension hopping is key to the character, I'd suggest talking to the GMs about the various ways that could be incorporated. So, like, if you were in the Nexus, maybe your character has permission to use it, or maybe your character is trying to earn that permission. The Nexus has a very very very very strong barrier. You can't break in or out without permission.

@GamerXZ

So essentially the possible witch would be travelling to sub dimensions within the Nexus, but not to those outside it. Similar to the character of Henry using his Gates of Tartarus for unlimited storage and such.
