Personality: To Ahab, his best way of interaction is reading people, it is the most easy to read people when their emotional wards are down, like most of his patients. Either crying about how close to death their so 'cherished' loved one, or worrying if they are going to be okay. Reading people is easy for him, as he had to, making a quick buck as a kid. If you got to have a conversation with him, he would somehow have a lot to say with, 'How was your day?', though, he isn't great at detail.

At work, he likes to speak in monotone to piss off the patient's, though, if the victim dies, he wouldn't be ' Sorry Mrs.Whats-ya-face, I don't know how to say this.. but-' Ahab will just say it, ' Your son's dead, yay!' He would say in mock excitement, 'One less mouth to feed..'

Emma is in Australia however you guys are gods, you can be from wherever you want, though due to her weirdness/divinity magnet quirk plus the fact she works for the goddess of love and childbirth does give any god an incentive to teleport (or just fly) to Australia. Family: Alive and well, he just has little to no contact with them these days. His parents are quite young, as he was a teenage accident. An accident his true father didn't want to stick around for.
Almost for as long as he can remember he has had a step Father .A strict, controlling ex military man who is now part of the police force. They never saw eye to eye and argued or yelled often.

As a potentially prominent psychologist of her field, his Mother was a rather busy lady. His childhood was buried beneath her extensive study. Her career, her patients, always seemed to come before her own family.

Younger sister. His only sibling, 9 years younger than him they are not really close. He sends the odd msg or text but had moved away when she was only 8. Now 19 and nearly out of her teens, he makes a bit more of an effort as he feels bad for not doing so sooner. She is family and he doesn't even know her.

@Taytay No problem I totally understand. As for your pantheons. Sin I'm iffy about not because of the content but moreso that it's a broad term that's subjective plus if you want to follow the dictionary definition it's to go against divine law a god of sin's actions taken to the most practical result wouldn't WANT to be worshiped as the ultimate sin would be technically non-belief. Also in real life terms sin can be subjective I'm a Christian and I view things as sinful that some religions (or even sects of Christianity that aren't my own) don't, so your power can fluctuate drastically if you want a bad boy god that wants to corrupt my mortal or just people in general, I think a god of crime, corruption or trickery would fit the bill. I'm not saying no I'm just trying to make you think more about what your chosen pantheons mean and how they will impact society. The pantheon should be more focused on what kind of (ironically) human your god latched onto and a god of sin can be literally only sinful towards certain people. I'm genuinely not trying to be a jerk I just have a very analytical perception of the world and want this to be far more character focused than battle or "influence" focused (ie maintaining a cult or small group of NPCs).

For emotions, the issue I have with that is far more straight forward. We already have a god of inhibitions, beer and brawls so I have to sadly reject that pantheon as the two have too much overlap.

He could be nearby for some reason, already received a note from Cerise or he's at the airport getting some snacks and just wants to help the obvious tourist. This is a rather light RP with a storyline but heavily leaning towards sandbox at its core. One thing to note is that Emma kinda has an aura to her that gods are drawn to (she's oblivious to this fact mind you). So if she's near a God, they will sense her at the very least.

@Taytay And awesome, I'm fascinated on where this will go.

To everybody: Here's something to think about do you want just Emma to be the only one with a god magnet aura or do you each want a unique one? Each has it's advantages. If Emma's the sole one, it means more gods will compete for her attention and it would be at times easier for everyone to meet each other. If she's not it can be easier to manage as each character has their own self-contained story but conflict between players would be diminished. I prefer the former as I think apart from fun, interaction is tantamount to an RP but if you guys want to have your own divine magnet I can tailor that.

Personality: Chandra is a down-to-earth individual--she appreciates the quiet things in life, and some would say she hardly makes a sound. Her favorite thing in the world is her family, and when somebody complains about their own, she can't fathom why. The fact of her mother's split away from her own family distresses her deeply, and she can't help but try and solve family matters, even when they don't concern her in the slightest. Chandra doesn't seem to realize that sometimes, her actions can hurt others instead of helping them--when something riles her up, she will worry about it for days, weeks, and even months.

She enjoys making people sweets to cheer them up, and often makes them for her students. She loves children, and teaching seemed a perfect way to go. The idea that friends can be family is a little strange to her--in Indian culture, families are large, so the concept of "blood family" is relative, but she understands that some friends fill in the space that family should have been.

After job searches turned up nothing, she took a class for a teaching job and met a young woman whose family was desperately broken. Chandra, knowing nothing of tact or time and place, said a few words and ended up offending the girl, who stomped off in a rage. However, a few weeks later, she came back and actually thanked Chandra for her advice. It was a bit a strange coincidence, but since then she's had kids, teenagers, and even coworkers come to her for advice.

For now, she's focusing on teaching, but she'd like to become a counselor someday, particularly for families or children.

Family: American father and Indian mother that broke the tradition of usual Indian arranged marriages, married and quickly moved overseas soon after Chandra was born. She doesn't remember much of India, but her mother misses the country dearly and has shown Chandra much of the culture. Has a large extended family on mother's side, but doesn't know them well.
