Reina was looking at the others with a very faint illusion of 3 question marks over her head at Naomi's and Lucas's interaction before look at Odum.
"No need to be sad" Reina says softly to him as despite him not really being friends with many if anyone he was still there with them and thus apart of the group of friends.

"Wait." Donny walked out as the others started to leave. "I dunno about y'all, but it'll be foolish for ya to just go wandering around at night, in a land you don't know, with nothing but the clothes on your back. It gets cold at night and despite what y'all might think, these lands ain't so gentle that they'll leave you alone in your sleep. Wolves will be looking for any easy meal, and a bunch of sleeping people will be a mighty fine dinner for them. Or worse, bandits. And you don't wanna know what they'll do to ya."

Crossing his arms Donny took out a small roll of tobacco. He lit up a match and let himself as a smoke now that he was outside of his house. "Not to mention, if ya wanna go back to your home or world or wherever, there's only one place I can think you can find answers. That's the big city. And lemme tell ya, it ain't easy getting there from Wayward. Not unless y'all had help." Taking a long drag from his cig Donny let out a big breath of smoke and looked into the night sky. "I ain't got much, but I can let y'all stay here for tonight. And tomorrow, I'll try and take y'all to the city. It'll be a long journey though. We'll need to pack supplies, get you ready for travel."

Naomi laughed softly then placed her right hand on Lucas's shoulder saying

I was only teasing......I did say they looked cute and I stand by it; they are cute. In fact I feel kind of jealous; to get ears like yours when I Cos'd a Vulcan I had to buy them then put makeup on my ears to blend them in.

You look as if you might be Eladrin a High Elf and that would mean you have an immunity to any enchantment spells like Charm, Sleep, or other such that affect the mind. Then there is the infravision and ability to blend into the wild or walk without trace; add to that a natural ability with bow and long swords and not too shabby.

He blushed more and looked at her "Th-thanks. I do tend to play archers in fantasy RPG's, and I like elves." He smiled at her.

"well, I guess I won't call you that anymore if you don't like it," Tawny replied with a smirk, before letting out a chuckle at Lance's next comment about the wolf. "That was exactly what I was thinking. As for keeping it from mauling us, I'll do my best, even if I still don't know what I'm doing."

She then listened in as the conversation continued about where they were from and where they currently were, still not quite getting any answers as of the time being. Donny continued to try to be helpful, warning them of the dangers of the strange land and offering to take them to where he thought they could find out more about their situation when it was daytime again. Through all of it, Lucas and Naomi had been engaged in a conversation of their own, sort of like with Lance and herself, but with the difference being Lucas visibly getting redder by the minute.

"Oh no, what have you started?" She whispered to Lance in teasing manner as she watched the other two.

When the topic of sleeping came up, Tawny figured they would be settling in the living area for the night. Whatever it was, she probably would not mind, considering she had an even bigger fur ball to cuddle with this time.

"Well that something I guess." Lance commented to Tawny's response in trying to keep the wolf 'Ash' friendly.

His attention was drawn to Naomi and Lucas as Tawny whispered to him, honestly given all that had happened he hadn't thought about it much. "Heh... I started nothing, I just told him he should speak to her." Lance whispers back trying to make it less of a deal.

Lance watches Odum goes from wanting to leave in a hurry to the complete opposite. "So... we're staying now right? Must you always be so indecisive?" He probes as he looks around him trying to find a spot that's possibly not so uncomfortable. "Guess your pillow has teeth." Lance looks to wolf. "No offence if I don't sleep as well as I'd hope,
someones got to keep an eye on you."

Naomi looks at Lucas and smiles before saying

"I'm sure that I have become a martial artist who can manipulate the Kai Forces that flow through us all"

She laughs her amber eyes flashing with humor

"I'd say I've become a Nun but I can't remember taking any vows locally so I'll stick with Tireuse"

Then by way of demonstration, she assumed the chausson ready stance and when she cocked her right leg it began to glow like the chakra flames of some anime her hands as well. Her eyes then glitter with a wild sort of excitement till just as quickly as it began she quenched it and continued to smile as if she been given the keys to her favorite car for her birthday.

Donny looked at everyone weirdly. Certainly a weird bunch. [color=Fire rick]”I’ll get some beddings.”[/color] it wasn’t great, but Donny had enough spare blankets and cushions to give everyone a nice place to lay down and rest. For the girl’s sake, he’d let them sleep in his room, though it only had two straw beds. Donny himself will sleep out in the main room with the rest of the boys, though he was also going to keep watch.

As for Odum’s request for some tobacco, he shook his head. ”Fraid not. Another reason to head to the city.”

His eyes lit up as well when he saw her chakra flare up, which gave him an idea. "In most fantasy settings, elves are usually linked with magic, are they not?" he asked, looking around and spotting a bow laying around. He picked it up and drew back the string. "So, what if I can use mqgic too now?" he asked, focusing his energy to his fingers, imagining an arrow nocked in the bow. Suddenly, a spectral arrow appeared coming out his fingertips. "Wow." he said, the arrow disappearing.

Tawny smiled, shaking her head at Lance's attitude towards her new pet. "Don't trouble yourself, I've got it. Guess I'll see you in the morning."

Lucas and Naomi had somehow decided to start experimenting with their new powers while the group was making arrangements for bed. Donny, of course, had provided them with everything they needed to be comfortable for the night, even a separate room for the girls. Deciding that Ash was her responsibility, she thought she would let the other two girls have the beds while she settled in a cozy corner with the canine.

"The lengths you have gone to accommodate us are much appreciated," she told Donny. "Thank you, so much."

It was difficult to believe that she was not dreaming. It was all so surreal. Sure, she had to admit that gaining new abilities was pretty awesome, but they were all still confused and lost in this strange new land. At least she was in this with her friends. She hoped they would be able to find the answers they were looking for tomorrow.

Reina pouts at seeing Lucas's casual display at his new abilities and mutters "Lucky show off" under her breath.

Hidden within the largest mountain a huge shadow looks at a cloaked and kneeling figure.
"The gateway has opened from the other side, Find the seven key stones to my prison and release me so that I may tear open the pathway between the worlds so that I can rule freely without the goddess of the gateway preventing my rise!" the 700 foot shadow with glowing embers for eyes says in a deep earth shaking voice as it stares down at the kneeling figure.
"Of course my lord your will shall be done" the figure says before they vanished into a vortex of shadows.
"To think that the goddess of gateways would bring earthlings to Gaia, what is she planning" the shadowed being says to itself as it sits down on a large obsidian throne that is inlaid with silver skull designs.

Donny waved his hand as Tawny thanked him for his help. "It's the least I could do for the ones who saved me. Now get some rest. I'll be waking up early tomorrow to get ready for our journey." Putting some wood into the fireplace, Donny grabbed his shovel and a chair as he sat near the door. He flicked the rest of his cigarette into the fire as he closed his eyes, just trying to rest a little. He'd have to keep an eye and ear open for any potential dangers tonight. While not something he normally worried about, today has not been a normal day.

"If we're done, we should get some rest. Won't get much of it once we're on the road."

Naomi laughs softly her excitement visible in her expression when she hears Donny mention sleep. She almost interrupts with a comment about how they'd all just awoken from sleeping when they had met but decided against it knowing more rest wouldn't hurt.

"Sounds like a plan Donny though I do admit to feeling guilty for having you surrender your bed to us; people you barely know."

Then she turns to Reina and Tawny saying

"Well I'm off to bed, hope you two don't mind sharing sleeping space one more night"

Then she heads into the other room and looks at the small bed obviously intended for one perhaps two people and because if she were one of those in the bed her size would make anyone else's sharing it uncomfortable she decides to find some space near a wall where she settles down into a cross-legged position as if she were meditating.

"heh, I guess you will." Lance responds to Tawny as Donny makes clear the offer of where they'd be spending the night. Upon seeing Luca's magic an arrow seemingly out of thin air Lance tilts his head before approaching. "Impressive, though not a bright idea inside. Maybe keep the experimentation out in the open space, less chance doing something stupid and hurting someone." After saying his piece he sits down against a wall, stretching his arms out above him before folding them across his chest and lowering his head. Despite this, keeping his eyes open, intent on not falling asleep before the others.

"Night Naomi." Lucas said to her before she went off to bed. He turned to Lance and said "True, didn't think about that, just got a little too excited I guess." He found somewhere that looked comfortable and plopped down, closing his eyes.

"Alright everyone let's get some shut eye" Reina says as she looks at the others all the while thinking 'at least it's good weather and not stormy' to herself she also found Naomi's flirting to be amusing if alittle annoying mostly because everyone didn't seemed freaked out at the apparent change in worlds though despite her earlier pun Reina was slightly scared at what had happened to herself and the others.

Odum hadn't spoke sense, but he only slept o n the floor, facing the front door. Odum was thinking why he was acting this way, he never cared about anything but himself, but now, now his attitude is different, maybe it was because he was the eldest, or maybe it was because he was in some unfamiliar land. Odum though about this before drowsing off a light sleep, hearing the crackle of the fireplace, and looking around to think one last thing before he went to sleep, Were in some deep shit, and closed his eyes.

Odum woke with a start, he looked around to see it was dawn and he was early, he thought for minute to see what to do. After that, he grabbed his rifle, leaning against the hallway wall, and went out the front door, closing it silently, though there was a creak, he hoped no one would notice that. After what seemed to be minutes, he went to a clearing in the woods, with some stumps on the ground. Odum grabbed his rifle, and aimed it toward the nearest stump, about 4 feet away, and pulled the trigger, the gun exploded and the bullet cam flying, and the stump was hit. The sound was loud, loud enough for some Crows to fly away. Then, he unloaded the rifle and saw that the loading was full, even though he shot one bullet, this led him to think he had infinite bullets. Odum smiled at that thoguht and checked his back pocket, finding a Flintlock, and pulled the back down, then pulled the trigger. The bullet reached the stump, at the same place, but with less force, he was grinning now and deiced to play with it, and test some more.

Donny was no where to be seen for anyone who’d wake up. He had left before sunrise to travel into the forest and gather what he could. He knew plenty of foraged goods his father taught him to find, and he had some luck getting a few rabbits. Not the meatiest meals, but he could make something out of this. A ragout perhaps.

That wasn’t the only thing Donny went to gather. He head to the old barn and looked at what he had available. Barrels of crops and supplies he had gathered over the years. Most of them still usable but... Technicaly speaking he was suppose to sell them to pay for this years taxes. But that was assuming he was going to be here when someone comes collecting. There wasn’t anything left for Donny here in Wayward. His family was gone. Friends were few. Frankly, he’s been meaning to leave this place a long time ago. Now he just has a reason.

Donny loaded up a cart with supplies, including water, camping gear, and firewood. He had one decently strong horse who could haul the stuff, experienced but old. Donny figured he’d have to put the old mare down within th year. Donny went up to the horse who in turn nuzzled his face. He fed her a mushy apple and caressed her jaw. ”One more journey, old girl. After that you can get your rest.”

By the time Donny returned to his cabin he had the wagon mostly loaded up. There was just two more things he needed to take care of: breakfast and armament. Since he didn’t intend to come back here, whatever Donny couldn’t bring he cooked. So he made a big, nice breakfast for everyone. Even brought out the good dishes. He was going to take those, perhaps sell them on the road.

As people would be waking up for breakfast Donny sat next to a large dusty wooden crate, eating his own breakfast. Inside the crate was various bits of armor, a few weapons, and other general equipment he picked off dead brigands who attack the village. He didn’t really mention it, but he figured these guys could use some started equipment.

Lance awoke with a groan, it felt like he'd just had his head slammed into the wall. Blinking he rubbed his eyes as a yawn escape him. It appeared someone was missing. It didn't take him look to see that a breakfast had been prepared for them as he forces himself up onto his feet and sloths his way over. He looked down at the plate of food, which looked somewhat confused with the combination on the plate. Too tired to complain however he grabs a plate, nodding to Donny before heading back to where he'd been sleeping to eat the food.
