So, coming into the academy, can you have a level higher than Tyro then? Or do they put all new students into Tyro and sort from there?

Just a note to those curious I'm about two quarters through the creation of my summoner and I'm working with Shwiggity while I hammer out details for the remainder of the CS.
@Artifex Just to ascertain quickly I saw the expected age and yearly progression of summoners. While I know that the minimum age is fifteen are the listed year progressions through each rank required or is it just the average guideline? Are younger summoners able to progress faster through ranks based on a greater knowledge and ability regarding summoning or is it just something that proceeds at a fixed pace?

I've been considering the level that an invoker will be able to call multiple beings at once, and I think an A2 student could pull it off, though not perfectly. I'm gonna adjust that aspect a bit because I think that skill would be possible earlier than Virtuoso level.

Funny you should mention that because I was thinking about changing the system. I don't think age should necessarily dictate skill level. I want it to be a six-year school, but at the same time, a student could progress faster than that if they are especially gifted. So, I'm trying to figure something that would make sense. (I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any.) For now, I'm simply gonna say the system is changing to a free-level system instead of a fixed-pace one...though I might keep the one-year requirement for Tyro level.

For someone who hasn't seen a comb in her entire life she is surprisingly comely if a bit... Strange.
Her skin is pale unto the point of looking almost undead due to just how little sun one sees when living in Stranglesun Swamp. Despite the vaguely deathly looking state of her skin it is without blemish, smooth and clear with nary a fault. Though she always tends to keep her head down and wear a mild-mannered expression her slim face tends to bring out her eyes that possess a deep dark nephrite green colour. Her hair which hangs down to the middle of her back curves with a modest wave and is a rich yet dark moss green colour.
She is a rather thinly built person. Her physique would make a quail seem buff in comparison. She is not as wholly feeble as she appears but she is no physical powerhouse by any means. As far as height is concerned she stands at a modest one hundred and eighty centimeters.
For attire she typically dons long dark brown robes, the darker color being ideal for concealing the many stains it has accrued both in the swamp and throughout her crafts. It has a big hood which is handy in rough weather. Her long abundance of hair is mostly tucked into the back though her front bangs hang out the front of the hood, covering her face for the most part when she has her hood up. For footwear she wears big hide boots that look several sizes too large on her feet. They were a gift from one of her fellow orphans, sewn together from the hide of a giant dead rat that was strangled to death by Stranglebriar Vines. Hanging from her shoulder by a hide strap is a large bag crafted from the stomach of a massive boar. She typically carries a long crook with her wherever she goes, this wooden tool having been treated with a special resin to keep it from decaying.

Having grown up as an orphan in Stranglesun Swamp she was bound to be a strange sort. With thanks to the Caregiver she along with eight others survived in a wild region where close to everything was poisonous and somewhat on the larger scale when compared to species found in tamer wilderness. The Caregiver however was not a being with a terrifying lot in common with more... Common societies. She's been raised with a great knowledge of plants, the swamp and other less tangible presences but in exchange she's learned nearly nothing in regards to civilized society.
What some see as being distant and spaced out others might see as simply being a rather reserved individual. Both would probably be correct to some extent as far as that's concerned. She is quite mild tempered and takes most problems in similar stride. She prefers to think her way through situations rather than power through things. Nettle is not very outspoken either and she tends to remain distant in most matters. This attitude is not out of a fear of confrontation but rather her tendency to get absorbed in her own thoughts, often preferring to dwell on matters that pertain to her pursuits rather than on tangential matters. Some might accuse her of being antisocial but her lack of socialization with others is not out of an aversion to social interaction but rather a disinterest towards mundane matters.
With having spent pretty close to her whole life in the Stranglesun Swamp she's developed a definite affinity for plants. Her herbology is quite replete and she tends to work a great deal in all sort of natural substances. Be it medicines, poisons, venoms, psychotropics or anything not implicitly contained within the aforementioned branches of the natural world she's probably dabbled in it either back in her home terrain or in her studies in L'Mordryn Academy.
Outside of plants themselves her knowledge seems to cover many aspects of the natural world and even things less rooted in the realm of the logical.

Abandoned as an infant she was found and taken in by a strange entity known only as the Caregiver. She along with eight other orphans were taken and given shelter from the swamp by this being. For most of the day the Caregiver would be absent leaving the children to their own devices. From time to time throughout the day the Caregiver would descend to their reality where it would brew strange stews or tell it's stories to them. It taught them pretty much everything they knew and it's stews bestowed subtle changes upon them. Whenever one of the orphans was hurt or ailing a taste of the brew would heal them right up in short time, leaving them good as new.
After many years on a diet of such stew they found themselves less susceptible to the hazards of the swamp. The new organs that had grown within them mixed their blood with a strange milky yellow sap-like substance that would eat away any unwelcome poisons and diseases that found their way into their bodies. In addition their irides had developed strange properties which made their sight more sensitive to the presence of the spiritual life surrounding them. Evanescent wisps, drifting shadows and ripples on the fabric of reality before them were all hints to a deeper layer of the world that laid before them.
Each of the orphans learned to survive in the swamps, each taking their own path in adapting to the struggles such life offered. In tree houses and home stumps they dwelt, living off the land and practicing their strange magic. Even before she made it to L'Mordryn Academy Nettle had gained knowledge of the art of summoning. She had made links with a fair selection of the plant life and even with a strange entity known as the Nidhogen.

The children might not have had an easy life but thanks to the Caregiver they had made the most of what the land had to offer. In truth the children were quite happy with what they had, strange as they might have been. Just as with any tale however change was in the wind. When the orphans were capable of living on their own the Caregiver ceased to appear within it's hut. They were greatly confused and concerned by this.
After all no more Caregiver meant no more of it's tasty stew, no more of it's bizarre but captivating stories and most depressingly of all no more of it's words of loving care. It was as much of a mother and father to them as they had ever known and now it was gone, nowhere to be found.
After a period of mourning in their respective ways some of the orphans simply returned to living as they did before, albeit with an air of melancholy stealing the spring from their step. Others, Nettle included, did not take the loss of the Caregiver laying down. Each one of them was determined to find a way to bring the Caregiver back so their family could be whole again. Each one of them went about the challenge in their own way. Nettle's way was to set out into the world with her companion Nidhogen and seek the answer beyond the swamp.
Amidst her travels she heard of the L'Mordryn Academy, a school dedicated to the art of summoning. It occurred to her that it may be possible for her to reach out and contact the Caregiver by becoming a better summoner. With this in mind she applied for the school and joined the ranks of many up-and-coming summoners. Having some prior experience with summoning already combined with her innate gifts helped her in excelling in class.
She continues to excel as she moves up in the ranks. Her standing amidst her peers means little in comparison to her true task: To find the Caregiver.
She may be a little strange. I did try to not make her too bizarre.

Once upon a time there were two students: Jacob Abbot and Marianne DuPont. Both of them were members of L'Mordryn of differing houses. He was a studious Machina, and she was a jolly Bestia. Their union was odd by some, but they fit together rather well. A bit too well, in fact, as during their studies she got pregnant and both of them chose to leave the academy in order to take care of their future child. An action that earned the scorn of both of their families, and severed their ties with them.
Things were going well, and they settled in the suburban London to welcome this new child within their lives until disaster struck. The reasons of why this happened are still unknown to both of them, and they would rather not know about it, but Marianne had a miscarriage. With no family to ever speak to them, and with the light that drove them onwards to this path having fizzled out, they continued with their lives for several years until they decided to try again. And, this time, Margarett was conceived and brought to the world to two overjoyed parents.
She was raised and nurtured with much love, she was taught to be kind whilst her soft parents couldn't bring themselves to tell her "no". So, when little Margarett asked to read about detective stories of the time, even if they had dead bodies in them, they couldn't refuse her requests and simply made sure that she'd focus on other things. A thing they did well, as her next requests would be a deerstalker hat and a magnifying glass to look at stuff more closely.
One day, however, her world would be flipped upside down as a tall and smiling figure made his way to her middle-class housing: Ferdinand DuPont. Her maternal uncle, and a fellow outcast of the family that had only just now received the news that her sister was pushed away from the family away. Hellbent on giving the middle finger to those uppity folks that called themselves the DuPont Bloodline, he moved to London and offered himself the position of Margarett's Tutor in Ars Invocatio.
A man worthy of his own tale, Ferdinand DuPont had reached a high level within L'Mordryn as a member of the House Machina until he quit to pursue greener pastures after something flipped a switch in his mind. A very different man from the straight-laced fellow he was before, he was quick to win Margarett's admiration when displaying his capability of summoning otherwordly machines.
After a reluctant display from both of her parents, the three of them explained the nature of Ars Invocatio and eventually agreed that, whilst Ferdinand was very odd, he was a very talented Invoker at the end of the day and more than qualified to teach a ten year old Margarett the basics of the craft so that she could enter L'Mordryn to pursue those studies.
And so, her tutelage began. She would visit her uncle two days per week for several years to deepen her knowledge on a variety of subjects, even when more often than not he'd take the part of a generous uncle and take her on outings her parents deemed too dangerous. However, that wasn't all. One thing of him stuck to her the most about her uncle, and that was a single poster on his living room that she asked about when she was thirteen. A single poster, drawn in pastel colours and simplistic in design. Four words: "I Want To Believe"
From there on, she'd visit him much more often and learn about his crazy theories about aliens existing in the world. Secret groups operating under the shadows and manipulating the events of the world. Tibetans living in the center of the earth. Missing cows. With one of Ferdinand's invocations serving as the voice of reason that made sense to all the raw information he poured into her.
Eventually, though, the time for Margarett to finally join L'Modryn Academy had come, and she waved goodbye to her family. She had just turned 15 when she reached Tyro and began to adapt to this new life within the school. Developing a familiarity to her uncle's summoning technique, she entered Machina after demonstrating an affinity to Outer-World summonings like the ones Ferdinand routinely demonstrated to her during her tutelage.
She'd routinely send letters back home to keep in touch with her family and received regular responses from her mother and dad. From her uncle, however, she only received one. At her 18th birthday, two weeks before her final exam to reach a level of Virtuoso, a single envelope with an odd emblem was handed to her. Inside of it there were a couple of things: two letters and a photograph.
The photograph was one she asked her uncle to take with her before she went to L'Modryn, a request he oddly accepted despite his belief that his soul was better left within him rather than in one of those strange gizmos. There were three beings in the photograph: Margarett, Ferdinand, and his servant and assistant.
The first letter was Ferdinand congratulating Margarett on her progress on L'Modryn, having heard of what she was doing from her parents whilst admitting he had nailed his mailbox for "personal motives". He then said that, now that she was of age, per DuPont traditions she was to pass a small test or else she'd be banished from the family. Then he said that it was bullshit and that she should focus on getting to the highest level she could whilst doing what she liked.
Finally, the second letter was Ferdinand's gift: an admittedly roundabout series of steps she had to follow during her exam to both pass and "receive what [Ferdinand] prepared for [her]". Ferdinand then stated that she shouldn't never ever do it before the exam, or else bad things would happen.
On the fateful day, Margarett repeated the steps exactly as described and, to both her surprise and everyone else's, a tall entity now stood before her. A tall being that she had known during her childhood, but never really spoke with. A gentleman that endured her infantile behaviors to the very end, with a nearly unlimited patience. That's when she understood what Ferdinand had given her.
Before her stood Cogsworth, the personal aide of Ferdinand DuPont and one of his closest and most cherished invocations. After an admittedly shameful moment of her breaking into joyful tears in front of everyone, she managed to pass the exam and began her treading the rest of her journey in L'Mordryn alongside the caretaker her uncle had sent to look after her.

From there on, she'd visit him much more often and learn about his crazy theories about aliens existing in the world. Secret groups operating under the shadows and manipulating the events of the world. Tibetans living in the center of the earth. Missing cows. With one of Ferdinand's invocations serving as the voice of reason that made sense to all the raw information he poured into her.
Eventually, though, the time for Margarett to finally join L'Modryn Academy had come, and she waved goodbye to her family. She had just turned 15 when she reached Tyro and began to adapt to this new life within the school. Developing a familiarity to her uncle's summoning technique, she entered Machina after demonstrating an affinity to Outer-World summonings like the ones Ferdinand routinely demonstrated to her during her tutelage.
She'd routinely send letters back home to keep in touch with her family and received regular responses from her mother and dad. From her uncle, however, she only received one. At her 18th birthday, two weeks before her final exam to reach a level of Virtuoso, a single envelope with an odd emblem was handed to her. Inside of it there were a couple of things: two letters and a photograph.
The photograph was one she asked her uncle to take with her before she went to L'Modryn, a request he oddly accepted despite his belief that his soul was better left within him rather than in one of those strange gizmos. There were three beings in the photograph: Margarett, Ferdinand, and his servant and assistant.
The first letter was Ferdinand congratulating Margarett on her progress on L'Modryn, having heard of what she was doing from her parents whilst admitting he had nailed his mailbox for "personal motives". He then said that, now that she was of age, per DuPont traditions she was to pass a small test or else she'd be banished from the family. Then he said that it was bullshit and that she should focus on getting to the highest level she could whilst doing what she liked.
Finally, the second letter was Ferdinand's gift: an admittedly roundabout series of steps she had to follow during her exam to both pass and "receive what [Ferdinand] prepared for [her]". Ferdinand then stated that she shouldn't never ever do it before the exam, or else bad things would happen.
On the fateful day, Margarett repeated the steps exactly as described and, to both her surprise and everyone else's, a tall entity now stood before her. A tall being that she had known during her childhood, but never really spoke with. A gentleman that endured her infantile behaviors to the very end, with a nearly unlimited patience. That's when she understood what Ferdinand had given her.
Before her stood Cogsworth, the personal aide of Ferdinand DuPont and one of his closest and most cherished invocations. After an admittedly shameful moment of her breaking into joyful tears in front of everyone, she managed to pass the exam and began her treading the rest of her journey in L'Mordryn alongside the caretaker her uncle had sent to look after her.

I'm liking all the characters so far! House Phantasma seems to be quite popular...which I expected actually. I'm gonna see if I can get the OOC up this weekend. I'll officially approve characters whenever I get it going. Nothing immediately jumps out at me that needs editing for any CS.

You know...that's a good question. I think I'm trying to shy away from summoning humans...but if a creature has enough animal qualities, it could be considered a beast. Like a harpy, perhaps. Some creatures that might be more demons than animals could fall under House Phantasma.

Each house has its own dormitory...not sure yet how many students will be in each room, though.

Hmmm, I see. I was wondering because Evangeline is going to want to bunk with her sister but might want to summon fluffy creatures and monster girls. Things to think about.
Would it be reasonable for a Tier 2 Virtuoso to constantly have their summons out on the material world at all times?

Though she initially only had a middling interest into the advanced equipment she could summon, she soon found herself fascinated by the snippets of military equipment she could find from her summons. Starting with a simple electronic field manual that she summoned, she studied the advanced tactics and techniques, trying to learn more about how the fighters from another realm did battle. Her fascination with military and police equipment, doctrine, and application from the other realm spurred her to study summoning more. A small list of summons I'd like to play so that some summoners could develop mutual cooperation with some truly strange beings.
Name: The Nidhogen
Alignment: Dynamo
Class: Wood Elemental
Species: Overgrowth
This class of Elemental is usually a mass of plant and fungal matter capable of reaching truly gargantuan sizes. Sometimes dubbed, Forest Kings, these beings are believed to be at the center of most large and healthy forests, having grown them over the course of centuries, and hosting a multitude of other like minded spirits to maintain it. The Nidhogen seems to defy this classification by the fact that it is more compact, and much more mobile. Perhaps a sub classification. More research is required.
Summoner Pact: Nettle, House Phantasma
Personality: A gentle giant. Wise as it is childish. Strong as it is fragile. Destructive as it is innocent. Approaching with hands open, the Nidhogan will claim you as a creature worthy of life and protection, tending to your needs for life. Attack with the fires of rage and fear, and it will be as if the very earth itself will rise to snuff out the embers. The Nidhogan is a creature of extremes, and it knows not of restraint, save for its infinite mercy and forgiveness for the ones who let their fury subside. Indeed, the Nidhoggan has no memory of such grudges, instead indulging in the love and joys of life itself. How it does so is potentially dangerous to those nearby. Its plant like creations can quickly become choking weeds that infest an area.
The Nidhogan is completely alien to most other civilized species as it does not seem to have the same mannerisms, motivations, and cultural identity, more or less deciding things on a whim. It has habits of trying to understand and mimic other cultures but utterly fails to understand the subtleties. As a being of life, the concept of death and heavens and other worlds with their spirits elude it somewhat, only understanding how a child would. To it, death is just that something stops moving and then just fades and becomes flowers, mold, grass and trees. Nothing to get upset over.
Additionally, the Nidhogan is unpredictable. It seems to react like a dog would. Against rage, anger, fear, it responds in kind. Against gentleness and compassion, it responds with affection. At times it seems distracted. Other times it seems to talk to itself before wandering off on some errand. It claims that it hears voices of strange beings, but it cant even begin to describe nor conceive of them.
Powers: The Nidhogen is a walking nest of other wood elementals. Spirits of plants, growth, decay, life, death, flora, fauna, all are 'birthed' into being from inside its tangles of wood and vines. The Nidhogan itself is formidable. Its arms are tree trunks, its feet pile driving stumps, all its vines and thorns animate to make its foe feel like it fights a forest.

This subclass of automaton is advanced, potentially non human in origin. These models were used to be constant companions for their owners. The hardware supports a carbon mesh chasis with dozens of built in features and functions with additional slots for upgrades and expanded versatility, mostly in a defensive capacity. The most impressive feature is the speed at which its logic trains process and advanced adaptive personality cores. The Servitor can socialize and even displays a modicum of charisma, wit, and humor.
Summoner Pact: Margarett Leslie Abbot, House Machina
Personality: Cogsworth fancies himself a butlers and a gentlemen, liking nothing more than making things easy and pleasant for his ward. He finds pride in his work and there is no job that is too mundane, too unimportant for him to show off nothing but absolute perfection. It comes across as complete arrogance though, as there is no way an organic can compete with a perfect machine.
Still the uncivilized meat bags might learn by example...
His service and commitment to his ward is absolute, even to the point of adopting a profession in order to better engage with them. For now, his ward fancies herself a bit of a private eye. He takes on the guise of a fellow investigator and confidant, steering her in the right direction so that she could crack the case, and then cheers her accomplishment.
Anyone that seeks to delay, detract, or heaven forbid try to harm his ward will face a perfect machine, cold, calculating, deadly precise and efficient.
Powers: Cogsworth's combat capilities are centralized solely in the omnidextrous tendrils that telescopic from his back. He's got six in all, two dedicated to ranged combat, and four dedicated to melee. He generally does not like using his arms and legs as any marring or scratch may diminish his perfect demeanor. His head is dedicated to all manners of detection and has a fallback weapon of blast of solidified light. The amount of sensory equipment is because of his ward's propensity to investigate, and he must support them.

Name: Siraki, The Demon of the Shattered Land

Class: Minotaur
Sub Class: Quar Gore
The Minotaur races are raiders, wanderers, migrant tribes that travel the land, stopping when following their herds of cattle they use for skins and meat. They engage in honorable duels with each other but other cultures view them as monsters to be slaughters. In desperate times against overwhelming enemies, some allow themselves to be conduits of spirits, being possessed by demons to become the monsters others truly fear they are. Quar Gores are berserkers, living for battle, even at the cost that they are out casted and shunned even by the tribes they protect.
Summoner Pact: Unclaimed
Personality: Siraki seems a simple being, of simple design, and simply pleasures though that doesn't make him stupid. Siraki only wishes to engage his passions, mostly through bloody duels and tests of strength. Left to his own devices, he will constantly be seeking outlets for his boiling rage and seeking to become a better fighter. He can however be convinced to turn his attention and outlets to other avenues, and seeks challenge above all else.
Provided he has that, Siraki can be amazingly social, as if he is hungry for the kinship and interaction that comes with having a tribe. He cracks vulgar jokes, makes insinuations, instigates, insults, and supports those that strive for greatness and are reckless in their action. He is loud, crude, obnoxious, quick to anger, quick to forgive, and truly unapologetic. He requires a firm and strong summoner, for those that attempt to dominate him will find themselves swept in his own passions and ambitions and while treated as a clan's man, may not survive the challenges this beast sets for himself.
Powers: Siraki is a melee combatant of brutish capability. While lacking in subtlety and flare, he makes up for in ruthlessness and a fighting style that is almost poetic in its savagery. He himself seems to shrug off most wounds and hardly seems to react to pain, smiling more often then not to a blow well struck. His voice, his shouts also hold a hint of magic, sowing panic into those that face him or temporarily giving him greater capability.

Sub Class: Storm Serpent
The Coatyl are the embodiment of gods for a culture that honors the spirits and gods through devotion and sacrifice. The Coatyl of the sky are the servants of sun, moon, the stars, and its in their care and mercy that they bring the rains and change the seasons. Its the cold winds that promote communities to band together to survive, its the lightening that brings them fire, its the rain that feeds the soil. Everything needed for life, comes from the sky.
Summoner Pact: Unclaimed
Personality: Singer has always been a stickler for the rules. Always worked to maintain the rightful way of doing things. Always preached a life of love and respect for your peers and community. Its for that reason, Singer is a social butterfly. Supportive, positive, a friend in flying snake form.
There's something about his compassion and empathy for the world that makes one almost immediately trust him. He's wise enough to understand your problems, old enough to have experienced them, and kind enough to help you through them. Indeed he gets joy and validation in seeing a bit more of the world brought back into the light.
That isn't to say hes a pacifist, far from it. Anything worth creating is worth protecting, and thus Bask is more than happy to test his newest spell on anyone foolish enough to give him reason to. However he is too nice for his own good, and being merciful to those who might just cause more trouble later.
Powers: Always flying, Bast is not a fighter but a capable mage. His long sinuous form is able to dance the movements to weave the essence of air and season, his beautiful voice is able to call the astral and ethereal forces, and thus channeling the mana he can cast magic of weather, lightening, illusions, healing, and dream are made manifest. As a fall back he himself uses his shocking breath attack and protrusions on his tail capable of whipping out like a club. The venom of his fangs is a tranquilizer, rending those bitten into dream hazed torpor. Recovery is actually faster in this state and nearly all victims wake up feeling profoundly refreshed and in a state of ecstatic well being.

Name: Siraki, The Demon of the Shattered Land

Class: Minotaur
Sub Class: Quar Gore
The Minotaur races are raiders, wanderers, migrant tribes that travel the land, stopping when following their herds of cattle they use for skins and meat. They engage in honorable duels with each other but other cultures view them as monsters to be slaughters. In desperate times against overwhelming enemies, some allow themselves to be conduits of spirits, being possessed by demons to become the monsters others truly fear they are. Quar Gores are berserkers, living for battle, even at the cost that they are out casted and shunned even by the tribes they protect.
Summoner Pact: Unclaimed
Personality: Siraki seems a simple being, of simple design, and simply pleasures though that doesn't make him stupid. Siraki only wishes to engage his passions, mostly through bloody duels and tests of strength. Left to his own devices, he will constantly be seeking outlets for his boiling rage and seeking to become a better fighter. He can however be convinced to turn his attention and outlets to other avenues, and seeks challenge above all else.
Provided he has that, Siraki can be amazingly social, as if he is hungry for the kinship and interaction that comes with having a tribe. He cracks vulgar jokes, makes insinuations, instigates, insults, and supports those that strive for greatness and are reckless in their action. He is loud, crude, obnoxious, quick to anger, quick to forgive, and truly unapologetic. He requires a firm and strong summoner, for those that attempt to dominate him will find themselves swept in his own passions and ambitions and while treated as a clan's man, may not survive the challenges this beast sets for himself.
Powers: Siraki is a melee combatant of brutish capability. While lacking in subtlety and flare, he makes up for in ruthlessness and a fighting style that is almost poetic in its savagery. He himself seems to shrug off most wounds and hardly seems to react to pain, smiling more often then not to a blow well struck. His voice, his shouts also hold a hint of magic, sowing panic into those that face him or temporarily giving him greater capability.

Sub Class: Storm Serpent
The Coatyl are the embodiment of gods for a culture that honors the spirits and gods through devotion and sacrifice. The Coatyl of the sky are the servants of sun, moon, the stars, and its in their care and mercy that they bring the rains and change the seasons. Its the cold winds that promote communities to band together to survive, its the lightening that brings them fire, its the rain that feeds the soil. Everything needed for life, comes from the sky.
Summoner Pact: Unclaimed
Personality: Singer has always been a stickler for the rules. Always worked to maintain the rightful way of doing things. Always preached a life of love and respect for your peers and community. Its for that reason, Singer is a social butterfly. Supportive, positive, a friend in flying snake form.
There's something about his compassion and empathy for the world that makes one almost immediately trust him. He's wise enough to understand your problems, old enough to have experienced them, and kind enough to help you through them. Indeed he gets joy and validation in seeing a bit more of the world brought back into the light.
That isn't to say hes a pacifist, far from it. Anything worth creating is worth protecting, and thus Bask is more than happy to test his newest spell on anyone foolish enough to give him reason to. However he is too nice for his own good, and being merciful to those who might just cause more trouble later.
Powers: Always flying, Bast is not a fighter but a capable mage. His long sinuous form is able to dance the movements to weave the essence of air and season, his beautiful voice is able to call the astral and ethereal forces, and thus channeling the mana he can cast magic of weather, lightening, illusions, healing, and dream are made manifest. As a fall back he himself uses his shocking breath attack and protrusions on his tail capable of whipping out like a club. The venom of his fangs is a tranquilizer, rending those bitten into dream hazed torpor. Recovery is actually faster in this state and nearly all victims wake up feeling profoundly refreshed and in a state of ecstatic well being.

@ShwiggityShwah - I do have mention of the Nidhogen in Nettle's history. A strange being for a strange summoner.
In addition I've got a rough sketch up of Nettle done. I'll be throwing it up on the top of the sheet there.
I may include color at a later date. For now I feel it sufficiently depicts my vision of Nettle.
